Taqueria De Anda

Google
My burrito was OK not amazing, paid extra for sour cream and cheese, and not sure if it really made a difference in the taste. Chips were great! Rice and beans were yummy! 3.5/5

Kat D.

Google
Hands down my favorite Taqueria De Anda location. The digital menus, short lines and friendly customer service make it an easy choice. The carne asada is absolutely fantastic and they let you customize your tacos and burritos exactly how you want them. I could barely finish the burrito—and your girl can eat. Other reviews mention pricing but I’m from LA and these prices are a steal.

John C

Google
I love their carne asada burritos and tacos. My family and I have enjoyed their great food and service for many years now!

Dom M.

Google
I don’t usually do bad reviews but these are by far the worst "carne asada" burritos I’ve ever eaten. The meat was chopped to the point that it looked like ground meat, it had no flavor at all, and the tortillas were super thin.

Herbert K.

Google
Pretty decent and fresh. Had a unique flavor that wasn’t extra salty and not overly loaded with filler. Prices are reasonable. I doordashed, so nothing to know about an in-person experience here. However, 4 stars might be more appropriate than the 5 I gave, since their “extra meat” seemed like standard meat and portions could be larger.

NATALIA DE LA R.

Google
I really liked taqueria de anda, this time I ordered tacos al pastor, the tacos are made with a small tortilla but a good amount of meat, they don't let you enter the bathroom if you don't eat. The cashier made faces because I asked him for a receipt for 2 tacos and soda, less than 8 dollars and he reluctantly gave it to me, maybe he was having a bad day? I don't know or is it strange that they ask for receipts? I do because of my finances. It's the only thing I disliked about the place. They have fresh horchata, Jamaica, pineapple and tamarindo waters. The music is not loud so you can eat and talk without a problem.

The H.

Google
Customer service was not that great. The guy the register was a little nicer than the guy actually cooking the food even though I speak Spanish. The guy acted like he didn’t wanna talk to me or whatever. I’m kind of blown away, but we were really hungry and the burritos are filled with rice. That is hard and dry. Very little sauce. No meat very little beans and paid a lot of money. I would highly not recommend going to this place. Don’t waste your money. Don’t waste your time. There are way better restaurants in Anaheim and Santa Ana you can go to Completely disappointed here.

Nick S

Google
Simple awesome street tacos … I had the carnitas , tongue and al pastor. All had great flavor and tender, salsas were mild. I’ll be back.

Max E.

Yelp
I got a burrito with lengua and cavesa it was bigger than the location next to my house and maybe tasted better too. the horchata was whatever tho

Deanna S.

Yelp
Please save your money and your stomach and go to a different location. The Jamaica tasted like they either made it with dirty mop water or made the batch inside the dirty mop bucket. It was the most horrible thing I've ever experienced at a food establishment, I took one drink and couldn't believe my taste buds, thought it was in my head and after the second drink I smelled it and it was so disgusting, and immediately threw the whole cup away. The carne asada in my burrito had a very similar dirty taste to it and not soon after drinking only two drinks and eating a small portion of my burrito, my stomach was in ridiculous pain and I've been throwing up ever since. Please stay far away from this location, it's not worth your money or pain.

Yelp
Maybe I tried the wrong location. Nothing was good from here except for the grilled onions and spicy grilled jalapeńos. The asada meat looks like it's grinded and very flavor-less. The tortillas are mid. The horchata had a strange after taste not good. The service was ok. The place was empty inside I should've known better. I'll give taqueria de anda another try maybe at a different location but not this one again.

Armon W.

Yelp
I figured I'd give this location a try since it's closer to my house versus the one that we usually go to. I wish I can give it zero stars. I ordered a breakfast burrito, took one bite and threw it away and walked out.. the asada was dry and disgusting. The cook couldn't wrap a burrito to save her life! The thing fell apart as soon as I open it from the foil. Also when I arrive all the doors were locked and chained up still even though they were open according to the posted hours. I suggest you go somewhere else for better food.

Yelp
Really good I like this place gracias Oscar nos atendió muy bien I said wanted more cilantro he was great love it
google avatar

Sergio L.

Yelp
The tacos gave me acid reflux and I feel nasty the day after. The flavors were off I felt like I was eating squirrel ankles
google avatar

John M.

Yelp
I am sorry but the carne asada was dry despite the salsa and lime juice i added. The pastor had little flavor despite the salsa on top. I have to agree with the low score. Staff was great though.
google avatar

Wendy S.

Yelp
Food is good. They should really update their hours. Drove 30 minutes to get there and it was closed. Please update hours to avoid any inconvenience to loyal customers
google avatar

Lupe R.

Yelp
People here can't follow simple directions. Just ordered a burrito bowl and the picture shows what it should look like inside a tostada shell. I assumed they would give me the tostada separate but they didn't. There was barely any onion and cilantro in it. Also, it just looks like I accidentally got someone else's leftovers. This is disgusting. Please don't eat here.
google avatar

Stephen W.

Yelp
I came here because I loved this chain. The servers are very friendly, and the place well lit The dining room is open till 23:00. They have Tripas which I think is fine bet well compared to many places. Unfortunately the carne asada, Bunche, is a bit dry. The Bunche is not as good as some of their other locations. The al pastor is ok. But I think that the Tripas is definitely a winner. With the flavor and crunchy texture. Overall I think this is a decent place to get tacos, but great if you live Tripas.
google avatar

Erika M.

Yelp
This is my favorite taqueria, the carne asada burritos never disappoint me. Serving sizes are relatively consistent too.
google avatar

Natalia D.

Yelp
I love the taqueria de anda. Usually, I don't have any problems in other locations, but here, the cashier got mad when I asked for my receipt and gave it to me in a rude manner. He makes faces probably had a bad day. Who knows. If you want to come to this place, be aware the tacos are very good, many options to choose from. With 2 tortillas, the tacos are not big, but they put a lot of meat for 2 tacos and soda 7.61, not bad. Also, the restroom is only for customers. They have 4 types of water horchata, hibiscus, pineapple, and tamarind.

Lizet G.

Yelp

No me gustó
google avatar

Donna R.

Yelp
I love that it is a drive thru. The carne asada quesadillas are delicious and fresh every time. Green sauce is delicious. I love it. A go to for me for sure!
google avatar

Jp A.

Yelp
Drive thru for Taco Tuesday at around 6pm. Quick and friendly service. Grabbed a bunch of tacos. Carnitas, Al Pastor, Asada and an Horchata hit the spot. 10/10.
google avatar

Mathew G.

Yelp
This place was a fun surprise! They have both a drive thru and the option to walk inside. The portions are incredible and you will walk away full! Honestly this place tastes great for fast food mexican food. They are extremely fast and the price is great for the amount of food you get. The only downsides I can see are the small outdoor dining area, but the size of it is out of their control because there is no room to add more seating. Also how difficult it can be entering and exiting the parking lot. Aside from that I will definitely be back at some point. I highly recommend trying this place if you want some good and quick mexican food.
google avatar

Sergio K.

Yelp
Sad excuse of a taco. Do not waste your money here. Carne was dry, their Al pastor was disgusting , you are better off going to Taco Bell at this point. Thanks guys ! Change the name cause obviously nobody knows how to cook authentic Mexican food here.
google avatar

Zachary G.

Yelp
I just had the carnitas red wet burrito and it was really hot like I prefer and very good. My girlfriend got the carnitas taco and said it was really good too. As far as carnitas go we loved this place. Rice and beans were very good too.
google avatar

Milton O.

Yelp
Tacos are perfect. The flavors are right. I love all tacos here. Always fresh. Friendly service. Ambiance is ok. Private parking lot. I like it.

Tom T.

Yelp
If you love carne asada burrito, this is the place to go! While I've seen some negative reviews, I personally believe this taqueria delivers some of the best, most authentic carne asada burritos around. The meat is always flavorful, tender, and perfectly seasoned, and the portions are generous. Green sauce makes perfect compliment to the burrito. Make sure to look for Alex has his service is top notch always! Getting grilled jalapeños and onions are a must as well. Highly recommended!
google avatar

Cesar A.

Yelp
Carne asada , cabeza, buche, tacos very delicious! Friendly staff, forgot to take a picture or the food but this is the aftermath.

Shannon H.

Yelp
Just NO. Ordered a carne asada burrito, the meat was like minced - could be dog food? Guacamole was full of onions. Go somewhere else.
google avatar

Evelyn T.

Yelp
I personally have not gone to this location. I ordered Doordash and it was one of the worst orders I've ever received. The carne asada tacos were incredibly dry and had no flavor the chicken burrito had no chicken in it just rice and beans and I ordered chips with guacamole they didn't send the guacamole. They put a drop of hot sauce in each taco not worth the price. I'm sure eating there may be a different experience but I don't recommend ordering DoorDash with them.

Sy R.

Yelp
Some of yall are tripping! This place always has good food and to be honest, there has been a few times where something isn't exactly the way I ordered but they are always more than happy to fix it for me! My sons love tacos and burritos from here. Gracias por la deliciosa comida
google avatar

Fantastic F.

Yelp
Should've listened to the reviews. Have you ever had beef jerky in a taco? That's what the carne tasted like unfortunately. Ugh
google avatar

Brandon S.

Yelp
I had really high hopes when I saw this place being built because I've always enjoyed the one in Placentia. This location's signage stated it is currently only operating on drive-through, though I saw people inside ordering, and not wearing masks...so possibly they work there? Getting to the food! A variety of issues to merit a single star review. My order was missing a chicken quesadilla. The burritos were mislabeled giving my family a swapping activity where people had taken bites out of each others burritos (not fun or healthy for anyone #covid19 ) The breakfast burritos had raw potatoes in them, leading to distrust the temperature of the "cooked" meat. Soooo everyone opted to cook their burritos before eating them. The topper is that these are the smallest burritos I've ever received from this chain. A $9 burrito should be bigger than the palm of my hand. Not a great experience in any way, unfortunately.

Breanna A.

Yelp
Don't know why the reviews are so low. This place has really tasty tacos! Will definitely return!

Natalie R.

Yelp
I don't understand why it's so difficult to make a burrito with no rice and beans. This is the third time we come here and we ask for a carne asada burrito, no rice and no beans. They will put rice and beans or just rice. And the whole burrito is basically a rice burrito. No meat inside. This happened for the last time today. We repeated it back to the lady taking g our order. She made eye contact repeated it back and said something different to the guy making it. So annoying. Whoever worked today, Wednesday May 22 at 1pm drive thru seriously needs to get fired or work elsewhere not handling food or simply orders. What's so hard to understand when people say no rice no beans? Please tell me.

Yelp
I found another taco spot near work. I got some tacos with a coworker. We got Carne asada tacos. Too bad, they don't have taco Tuesday here but the tacos weren't too expensive. The tacos has a lot of meats in it but I thought it was alittle bland but adding hot sauce it does help. I thought it was decent but I had better tacos elsewhere. The service was good and friendly. I would go back to try other items maybe it would be better.

Jose J.

Yelp
If I could give it negative stars, believe me, I would. To begin with, the drive through takes forever to deliver your food. The food is horrendously expensive and not great to begin with. I got a burrito with carne asada along with some tripa (guts) . The food was not good whatsoever. The beginning taste was alright but as I ate more of it, I discovered a pool of grease. The meat was unbearably raw and the salsas didn't taste nice at all. It may sound as if I were being picky, but believe me, it was not good food in any aspect. I called to let the manager know that they should take care of this problem to not upset/disappoint other customers, but the manager sounded as if he couldn't care less, which was disrespectful since after all, I'm giving feedback on the customers point of view. He was rude and didn't even want to fess up to his stores inability to make healthy food, let alone give me a refund. The location was alright, the store on the outside looked untaken care of and seemed as if it needed another coating of paint, cleaning and disinfectant. Don't go to this place, it's not healthy for adults let alone children. It's so disgustingly unhealthy to the point I had to throw away the remainder of my food (about more than half of a burrito). It's so bad, I wouldn't even feed it to my dogs. If you want an instant trip to the hospital, accompanied by a heart attack, come here. If you want to remain healthy and have good organs, stay away from this place.

Yelp
Be careful/Beware When I went I paid and wasn't given back my card. When I called to confirm it was left there once I realized it wasn't given back to me. They tell me they have allot cards. I said that means you guys are not giving back. SMH idk but that sounds suspicious. As for the food burrito smelled like a meat market. The burrito was dry af meat and more rice than beans.

Mark I.

Yelp
This place is not tasty at all. Lots of flavorless, dry meat on my asada and carnitas tacos. Salsa could not help. So if you like bland and dry food this is your spot.
google avatar

Jennifer C.

Yelp
i dont even know where to begin. burrito had a weird taste to it. it looks nice inside. also the horchata tasted warm. and they are VERY generous with the meat on your tacos
google avatar

AT Iron Welding H.

Yelp
The food it's ok not the best the ordering online it's easy even tho hard to pick what you like to add .. but the worse I order online I sent my son to pick up the food and even tho he brought proof that we order they wouldn't give him the food because they asked him to show the card we used to pay the food .. these was embarrassing there's was people waiting and they cap my son waiting like if he was trying to steal something I will definitely never order form these location again. Very bad customer service
google avatar

Rose C.

Yelp
I just opened my burrito and it fell apart. It's not even a burrito it's a damn plate lol.
google avatar

Elias C.

Yelp
They call this Tacos ? Wow the meat Carne asada is so hard Really low quality of meat they chopped it so well so you won't notice it they get the worst quality meat also pay attention if a restaurant gives you this lemons This are cheap they only gave me one napkin Carne asap is so hard That it feels like I'm showing Plastic suck disappointed can't be live they're still open.
google avatar

Diana M.

Yelp
I don't know how new this location is but it is very well-kept. I opted for the meat-only carne asada burrito and it was so good. I asked for a side of red sauce and grilled jalapeños &onions. Overall it was better than expected and i definitely will be returning.
google avatar

Ann G.

Yelp
I live around the corner and really enjoy the convenience of the drive thru. I've ordered their tacos wet burritos quesadillas so nachos. The food is really good especially their green salsa. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is there quesadillas it was small expensive and came with no sides

Carolyn C.

Yelp
Awesome burritos! Clean and well kept business with a decent restroom. Staff is friendly and good prep is quick.
google avatar

Jesse H.

Yelp
Ordered an al pastor burrito ($8.70) and was thoroughly disappointed 60% old, dry Mexican rice 20% beans 20% Al pastor which was off puttingly slimy The tortilla was powdery and fell apart easily. Not the good kind that is pliable and chewy. The salsa that it came with was watery and didn't have much flavor to it.

Gaby R.

Yelp
Order a burrito and it was the BLANDEST BURRITO OG MY LIFE! It had 0 seasonings! I would never go here!
google avatar

Christine L.

Yelp
I love these tacos. They're small, yes--but they're stuffed with meat. You gotta get them with the onions and cilantro. For $1.90-2.10 a taco, they're great. Meat is flavorful and their salsa has a nice kick to it.
google avatar

Richard R.

Yelp
It sure why it's only got two stars but this place rocks!!! The best $1.90 tacos in Orange. Stopped for a quick bite of three tacos. So damn good I grabbed another three more. The lengua is amazing. The carnitas and asada also damn good. I also got a pastor and also good. Best $12 meal in town. Try it!!!
google avatar

Andrew H.

Yelp
I've been looking forward to this place opening for the entire pandemic, so I was extremely excited to finally get my chance. Unfortunately it was a mixed experience, but hopefully one that can be corrected soon. I had no issues with service or wrong orders, etc. but I did have a few issues with the food itself. Let's start with the positives: The tacos were packed full of meat, and worth the $2 in my opinion. The agua fresca was well priced and delicious. Negatives: I tried the carne asada, al pastor, carnitas, chicken, and lengua. All were pretty bland except the chicken. More seasoning please! A simple fix The tortillas need to be stronger. It was double layered but not a single one of the tacos survived the trip from the plate to my mouth. I had to use a fork for almost the entire meal. Overall I'm definitely willing to come back and try it again. The area needs a great local taco spot. Hope you see this and adjust accordingly!
google avatar

Mike T.

Yelp
Looking for taco tuesday. Found tiny tacos but still starving. I can't believe palm size tacos are 250 each. Eating out is starting to look like a thing of the past now.

Martin F.

Yelp
This place is taxed food isn't worth the money they are charging I am never coming back here
google avatar

SkullGirl M.

Yelp
Don't get your hopes!! My boyfriend and I were very excited to see that the Taqueria De Anda was opening up by our house as it's closer than the other locations. Unfortunately we were very disappointed as the food didn't not compare. The asada tacos we ordered were NOT worth the $2.10 each (what happened to the onion and cilantro) the tacos were more like a $1 special on taco Tuesday. My boyfriend ordered the Al Pastor burrito which was ok if your a fan of rice because that's what the burrito should have been called! On a better note the horchata was on point. I'll drive the extra miles to get better tasting food that's worth the money!
google avatar

Karen Q.

Yelp
Tried tonight for the first time- chorizo, chicken & el pastor tacos were excellent- highly recommend however they are small, very small, so order accordingly. Also tried the quesadilla and nachos- no meat- fair, don't think we would order either again. Salsa on the side, green & red both tasty. All in all okay, nice to have another option for takeout.
