Where to Find Next-Level Tacos in Gresham | Eater Portland

"A few blocks off Rockwood’s taco-filled epicenter, El Cazador is a hybrid truck-restaurant with outdoor, covered seating on a deck. Tacos here are a bargain at just one dollar each, with lengua or tripas for a whopping $1.25. The carne asada or al pastor tacos come with grilled onions and jalapeños, a unique touch in the area."

I ordered food from there earlier today and it was good as always, but they got my order wrong. I specifically ordered a wet burrito, when she repeated the order on the phone she repeated wet burrito, when my husband picked up the order she repeated wet burrito again, yet when he got home it was a regular burrito. When we called to let them know she tried to convince me that I had ordered a regular burrito. The food was good as always, but I'm just annoyed about the whole thing. Why can't they admit that they got it wrong. I won't be going there for a while. If you do make sure you get what you ordered before you leave otherwise they won't be correcting themselves.

I lovED this place, past tense, I’ve never written a bad review before but the total lack of professionalism and curtesy is disheartening as a loyal customer. Before yesterday they never messed up an order, an order mistake is fine, it can quickly be fixed. Or so I thought?? I’m a working person and I come on my breaks, so I grab my food and go, it’s tied tight in a plastic bag so much so that if I take time to check my order, I’ll be late for work, but I trust this establishment, trustED. I communicated to them once I got home and opened my order of rice, which turned out to be $5.00 fries. I know $2.00 probably is enough for you guys, but I use all my leftover money to treat myself to your guys delicious food, rain or shine, so $2 for me, is like $2,000 to you. I’m in college, I volunteer- so I work but I don’t get paid, so I live off of a measly couple hundred stipend. I guess what I’m saying is, I felt unheard when I ordered, and then when I tried to get help correcting my order- I again felt unheard, she was supposed to ask my name and leave a note but the lady today told me she can’t give me my rice without me waiting a whole 5 hours for the new shift people to come in to confirm that my order was a grievance? A $3.00 small rice should be easy to correct, I wouldn’t even fret about me getting overcharged- even though as I said before, I basically have NO disposable income, so getting my $2.00 would be good cause I could pay for my bus ticket to go to work. It might seem little but if I don’t have transportation, I don’t work. So the extra money that I was overcharged, could make me miss precious overtime. I just want my rice!!! See photo of the soggy ‘rice’ I was awarded🥴 I mean FRIES 😪

DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. The lady taking the orders is the worst and is really rude. They messed up my order when I explained it perfectly and when I went to go explain that they messed everything up they were extremely rude and they overcharged our order to begin with. Highly do not recommend this place. With them overcharging ( They charged us a whole 10-15 dollars More out of nowhere and refused to give us the receipt and did not give us a refund or anything ) the price of everything in general is not worth it. The food has no flavor this place sucks. Won’t go there ever again.

We’ve been trying to find some good taco/burrito truck around the area. This place did not disappoint. The meats are flavorful and they actually give a lot of meat on a taco. We got the asada and pastor tacos with the red salsa. Everything was great and we love that they give you jalapeños and onions. The red salsa was actually spicy but very delicious.

I absolutely love this place. My best friend turned me on to this place, and since then, I've been addicted! The tacos are fire! I always get extra onion and jalapeños on the side with green sauce .The burrito plate is delicious! The horchata is refreshing! I usually call my order in and pick it up! I recommend this place to everyone who wants to experience flavor town!

Its sat march 29 8pm The girl working the cashier slick back hair in a ponytail with a gray sweatshirt has a nasty attitude. I love the food but will not come back because of her attitude. She's here all the time every time i come and she's a grosera to ppl. Not what i would want to be the face of my company when cashing ppl out, if i was small local business I would teplace her.

DONT COME HERE. I observed the cashier grabbing onions then the money , and instead of the cooks washing their hands they wash their gloves . They need a health department visit or someone managing them obviously .
