I’ve only been here twice. I live nearby and I’m trying to support local restaurants. The first time I ordered, I called ahead and had no issues at all.
Today I called and asked for three quesabirria tacos. The girl who took my order didn’t explain how many tacos come in an order, but I didn’t think to ask because I ordered the same way last time.
When I got there, she charged me $35. I was surprised but assumed maybe prices had gone up, so I paid. Then she brought out three full orders. I told her I thought it was a mistake because I only wanted one order with three tacos.
She said, “No, you said three tacos.” I explained that I meant three tacos, not three orders. There’s a big difference between tacos and orders. She responded that people usually order that way, so she assumed I wanted three orders. I’ve honestly never experienced that before. If I say three tacos, I expect three tacos, not three full orders.
Even though I disagreed, I still paid and left. Now I’m stuck with a lot of food that’s going to go to waste. I was only trying to get my son a small treat because he asked for it, but I don’t let him eat this kind of greasy food all week.
In the end, I paid almost $40 for food I didn’t want or need, and the whole situation was really stressful and frustrating.
