"I now go to Taqueria Guadalajara for chicken tacos that are good and spicy with charred, crispy bits around the edges, and I scavenge tiny tubs of tangy green salsa to put on my scrambled eggs on Saturday mornings." - Eater Staff

I just had a fish taco and rice and beans. Tiny pieces of fish I do not recommend. Mediocre salsa too mild. Better off going to the Donut Hole theirs have a lot of fish. They fo have alcohol that’s a plus

Google
We arrived just as they opened at 11am. We ordered the daily special which was Burrito Loco for $8.99. I chose beef which was delicious. Michael got pork and beef combo. He told our waiter the refried beans were the best he had ever had. Definitely not from a can. I ate until I was stuffed and we both took home half of our food. Really enjoyed the ambience. Beautiful paintings and decor.

Google
Chips and salsa are good, service was great, very friendly. Shrimp tacos were on double tortilla, very doughy, and overstuffed with vegetables that you could not pick it up, all over your hand and the plate. Focus on the shrimp flavour. Beans and rice really good

Google
We are new to PV, so we made sure to find our go-to location for Menudo and Pazole and this place was on point! Other than the broth of both being a tad thin, it was delicious. Our server was friendly and attentive. The michilada was good, too. However our one complaint was the expense, we paid $85 and $95 with a tip. Yikes!

Lucky G.

Google
Food was amazing large portions... Shared the steak nacho appetizer and had margaritas we'll eat here when I am in town..😍

Jim V.

Google
This place consistently serves up the best! All the usual meat choices for tacos, plus Lengua! Fantastic Refried Beans Mexican Rice that I don't leave behind. 5 or 6 kindza of Salsa. Today, I was early enough to want sum breakfast. Huevos Rancheros! Super tasty with their fantastic beans and rice. Margarita is a lovely server who makes each visit nicer. ...and their Fish Tacos - superb! Grilled Bassa - incredible! Add a Mexi-coke and you've got everything you need!

Google
This is a legit taqueria restaurant. Tucked away but stands out and makes you want to stop and check it out. The food is muy bueno and authentic. The service comes with a smile and they always come to check on you. Coming from New Mexico this brings back memories of home. Good job guys. I'll be back often.

David H.

Google
Incredible service and kind server. Chips came out hot and by far the best been and cheese burrito I've ever had!

Terri D.

Yelp
Excellent food! Best I've found in Yavapai county. Service was excellent! I will definitely be back!!!!

William B.

Yelp
Food is always hot and tasty, service is always good and friendly! Good Menudo on the weekends is always good.

Yelp
Overall 4.4 stars the chips and salsa aren't great and bring it down. The reason I gave 5 stars is the Tacos Pescados. (Fish) they are stuffed full of fresh tasting, well seasoned, and perfectly cooked whitefish. Place is a little dated inside but was pleased to see clean bathrooms and friendly staff. Refried beans were excellent too. I didn't try the rice. Not sure if the rest of the menu measures up but I will be back for the fish tacos.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place and definitely did like the homey atmosphere and friendly wait staff. However, restaurants really need to be evaluated most for the food. Everything was 'okay', but only okay. The food is unrefined, a bit clunky. The meat in the chile verde was a bit chewy, not tender. Rice and beans were moist but bland. The chile relleno was a soggy, spongy mass with an unremarkable slice of pepper buried within. The green salsa (you have to ask for) was nice and hot. Portion sizes are good but resulting leftovers did not improve overnight.
google avatar

Poppy F.

Yelp
The server was absolutely the best!! Margarita, I believe her name was. The salsa and chips, wasn't great but the chile relleno and cheese enchilada was good. Ambiance was just ok.
google avatar

Manuel A.

Yelp
First time here.. unfortunately the salsas are not that great.. I got worried about the food.. but the tacos were really good! The beans are fire and rice was meh... Spent 20 for this and a Pepsi thought it was a bit much but o well

Mark J.

Yelp
Been here a few times and it's delicious every time! The chili colorado is the best around. The tacos and enchiladas are also amazing. It's a small place off of the main road and never very busy. I don't know why, we come every time we're close!

Richard T.

Yelp
Food was very good and the service was excellent. The ambulance looked authentic. Happy hour during our visit was a nice surprise
google avatar

Pam M.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem! Authentic Mexican food with large portions! Love the quirky atmosphere and the servers are always friendly. If you are looking for REAL Mexican food, this is the place to go!
google avatar

Andrew M.

Yelp

Tracey B.

Yelp
Worth the drive from Prescott. Great food and you can't beat the prices. Most of its customers appear to be locals (off Hwy. 69's beaten path). Best thing Taqueria Guadalajara has (in my opinion) is its meatball soup which is always available but not seen on its menu. Margaritas are good too. We've never left hungry, that's for sure.

Moxie G.

Yelp
Food is always hot and good! The servers are kind and the restaurant is clean :) we go once a week and it only gets better. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, this is the place!

Colleen S.

Yelp
Awful, Awful, Awful! And way too much money for what you get! Disgustingly Mexican food for white people! Tacos I got were supposed to be topped with onions and cilantro... no cilantro, just rank old onions! (Hurl!) Save your money and go to El Gordo, their salsa's are lacking but the food is good and get bang for your buck!!!!!
google avatar

Richie R.

Yelp
Food and service is fantastic. Well kept Resturant and food was very tasty. I recommended my whole team to go to this place for lunch. Will visit again next time I am in Prescott Valley.

Yelp
First time here! Saw the reviews, 50/50 chance of it either being good or bad, so I had to just check it out! It was hard to find, even with the Yelp search map, but after 10 minutes we found it. It is a small place, has a cute salsa bar with all the trimmings! Pretty good style of different salsa's to choose from. Restrooms are only one stall, but they are cutely painted with murals and small mirrors! Jose was our waiter, he said the restaurant has been around for 17 years and he has worked there for 12 years! He was quite personable and full of great information! He even taught me how to say the name of the restaurant properly! My husband had the small burrito lunch special which came with refried beans and Spanish rice! The beans were bland, so great time to visit the salsa bar to add flavor! I had the lunch special of a small taco salad with the shredded chicken in a red sauce! It was divine! Just could use a little more lettuce and cheese, but very flavorful red sauce! All in all, we would and will come back to this establishment!

Yelp
Great lunch on Friday for our LunchBunch Tostada salads, fish tacos and huevos rancheros were enjoyed by all!

Daniel A.

Yelp
Above average salsa and chips. Rice, beans, and cheese enchiladas were average. Another reviewer mentioned you can ask for green salsa. House marguerita was disappointing regarding taste. Sufficient amount of tequila but lacked lime flavor and was more like very watered-down tequila. The sangria is a sangria-flavored, non-alcoholic carbonated drink/soda (same brand sold at Dollar Tree), which is why it is listed with other non-alcoholic drinks.

Neil H.

Yelp
Always a good meal every time we come here. Margarita is a fabulous waitress. And just as a reminder, it has fabulous ambience and I hope that Yelp says you are open on Mondays.
google avatar

Chris H.

Yelp
The service was really good and horchata a wss great. The chips and salsa were fresh and tasty. The chicken burrito was good.
google avatar

Dianna G.

Yelp
There are many Mexican restaurants to choose from. This small place is hard to find but has real Mexican food, and it all tastes great! Not like some of them that just put stuff in the microwave. The prices are fair and the portions are huge. Wait staff is Very friendly and will give you suggestions to try. We don't go to any other Mexican Rest. It is kinda behind CVS.
google avatar

Moni L.

Yelp
Some of the cleanest menudo we have ever had from a restaurant! SO good, the bread was perfect. Salsa bar with all the fixings from Guacamole, sour cream, several salsas, radish, lemons, cabbage, cucumbers, the works!! Our waiter Jose was polite and attentive. Great little spot we found when we're in Prescott Valley! Btw the guacamole got some bad reviews in other posts, but to each his own. It was different but really good, with a hint of cucumbers!

Robert J.

Yelp
I love good Mexican food, but at times it's difficult to find too far away from the border. (I live in Southern California.) I was a bit unsure when visiting Prescott Valley whether I'd be happy, but those doubts were dashed! This place is relatively small and rather unassuming (although it is colorful. I happened to order the Burro Loco, basically a burrito with a combination of pretty much everything in the kitchen. My God, it was heavenly! And my friend's carne asada was extremely tender and flavorful. Service was friendly, not rushed, and portions were generous. Now if they moved to Southern California, that would be interesting.

Debra N.

Yelp
Simply the best Mexican food in the area. Don't judge a book by its cover. The building is a little old and brightly painted, but the food is the real deal.
google avatar

Jennifer G.

Yelp
I might give this place a 2nd chance but with different food selections. The food was OK, edible, but not great. I make spanish rice & mine is WAY better! The customer service could improve too.

Yelp
I am torn between 2 and 3 stars for this place. The service was great, it's a clean restaurant with comfy booths and a big menu to choose from. The chips were good, the albondigas soup was tasty and authentic to Sonoran style. The salsa however was basically reminiscent of a pico de Gallo with water added, plain and lackluster. I ordered the 3 item combo. 2 chile rellanos and a tamale. All with green sauce on the side. These chile rellanos were the most breaded and cakey flour balls I've ever had. The breading was a good 1/2 thick! With the tiniest poblano inside. I took all of the breading off and it was like a sponge cake that progressively became raw dough. The chile and cheese were tasty but this is nothing close to Sonoran style chile rellanos. The server did take off $5 once she saw my plate full of dough. The tamale was fine but again lacking in technique and flavor and authenticity of how Nana makes them. The beans and rice made up for the terrible entree plate. My friend had the combo with the same problem with her chile rellano and said the taco was flavorless, and the "shredded beef" actually was more like shredded pork , maybe? The green sauce on the side had zero flavor. I'm not sure how this place has 4 stars except for great service and clean restaurant.

Yelp
The service is so friendly and kind at this taqueria. We ordered the mushroom quesadilla and adobada burrito. My husband LOVES hot, hot salsa and theirs totally lived up to his expectations (even left his lips a little tingly with the spice level!). The quesadilla was crispy and super cheesy. And the burrito was pretty good too... not the best burrito we have ever eaten, but definitely still yummy. I would definitely try other menu items if we were staying in town!
google avatar

Kelz K.

Yelp
Great place to get a bite to eat. I love the rice and beans here and pretty much everything else on the menu. The portions are pretty well sized the food is flavorful and the prices aren't bad.

Al H.

Yelp
I ordered take-out , two carne asada plates and their Tuesday special, 2 chicken enchiladas with beans and rice. The cost? $57! Yes, I was charged $57 for what turned out to average food. My wife bit into her enchilada and said, "the sauce tastes like canned tomato sauce." The chips were stale and tasteless. The meat was tender and the little bit of salsa provided was good and hot. Why did I pay so much? Good question, I should have walked. The receipt was not itemized and when I looked on online, the menu someone posted did not reflect these prices. Oh well, luckily there's lots of other Mexican restaurants to try.

Yelp
Best menudo in town. Too bad they only offer it on weekends. Rest of breakfast items are ok.
google avatar

Tara J.

Yelp
Called on a busy holiday weekend on late notice to buy 50 tacos for the emergency department at the hospital as a thanks for taking care of a sick family member. Within an hour of my phone call, I had two beautiful trays of tacos with sides and tons of salsa options. They were pleasant, kind, friendly, and very easy to work with. And the tacos were delicious!!!!!!!!!

Yelp
Small joint in Prescott Valley the food here was actually a great value and tasty. The service was a bit slow, but we came in between lunch and dinner so that is to be expected somewhat.
google avatar

Edward S.

Yelp
I've been in a few times recently. The restaurant is very clean. The food is also great. They serve Beer and mixed drinks. Very good.

Rudy D.

Yelp
Delicious! The chips and salsa were fresh and flavorful. I ordered chicken tacos, they had a lot of filling! The beans were actually really good, I don't usually expect much from refried beans. My cousin ordered enchiladas and a burrito. So much food! But he loved it all. His friend got a shrimp fajita. It was huge and wonderful. Quite a lot of shrimp. Our drinks were great, and the service was outstanding. I definitely recommend the tacos.

Yelp
Good authentic Mexican is very hard to find in this area and they do it right here!! Great food and fast pick up if you want to go. Makes being away from home jot that much harder. Thank you

Patti B.

Yelp
This place was recommended to us by someone working at a local business when we asked them where to go grab a bite. It was just what we were looking for. A locally owned (non-chain) with good food and good service. It is a small little place, with some really tasty food. The margaritas are pretty good too. Next time we are in the area, we will stop by again.
google avatar

Danny W.

Yelp
Great spot. Authentic and top notch Mexican food. Very nice staff and a great atmosphere.

Yelp
By far, our favorite Mexican restaurant ever! Great food, great margaritas, and great service. Can't beat that combo!
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing restaurant , great customer service and the food was delicious! I'll be back next time I'm in town
google avatar

Vivian S.

Yelp
Great tasting authentic Mexican food, all of the food we tried was very good (beans rock). Service was good initially, but slowed down as they got busier which was understandable. Certainly will be back again now that we know about this place.

Emilee M.

Yelp
How can a place that specializes in tacos make the worst tacos? This establishment could enlighten you. Three chicken tacos that weren't even edible. The only reason I gave two stars is because the cheese crispy was amazing. Service sucked. Staff was rude. I'd rather eat jack in the box tacos.
google avatar

Fun G.

Yelp
Really great food and service. Truly authentic Mexican food. Give it a try, it is definitely worth your time and money.
google avatar

Mike M.

Yelp
Very good Chile Relleno, three item combo is more than enough food for anyone! Great taco and beans are authentic tasting.
google avatar

Ed H.

Yelp
Outstanding!! I can in 15 minutes before closing on a Sunday. Being this close to close, I was not expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised. Erica was my server and she was great. The salsa is very fresh and delicious. I had fish tacos. The tortillas and slaw were amazing.
google avatar

Marnie M.

Yelp
Stopped in for a margarita and to scope the place out while waiting for the car to be washed on the other side of the building. We were in time for happy hour and got some good and strong margaritas for $3.50 each. Enjoyed the drink... went and got the car from out back and returned to order an early dinner. The waitress was super nice and funny and tended to us as necessary. They have a great a la carte menu and tons of options. I got the carne asada y camarones a la diabla. Knocked my socks off. Tons of flavor in the beef and the best seasoned shrimp I've had in a long time. Comes with beans and rice and a choice of soup or salad.. I got the salad and I could've skipped the bowl full of iceburg. Next time I'll try a soup. I also had the option for corn or flour tortillas. Great salsa bar with guacamole and sour cream... warm chips. Second margarita in I'm ready to sing a song. This is a damn fine dinner and a great price. I had to get a takeout box the portion was plenty. Need a car wash? Pay the guys behind the restaurant and enjoy some great food while you wait. They did a killer job on my car too. I can walk here from home... I'll be a regular.

Yelp
I've eaten at Tito's a dozen or so times over the last few years and have always enjoyed the food. My most recent visit did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is small with maybe 8 tables and 3 or 4 booths. It's a bit worn and disheveled with a mish-mash décor and is no real ambiance, While it seems a bit messy, they seem to keep it clean. The service is very friendly, but not what I would call professional. Our server munched on a couple of chips behind the counter before she brought ours to us and took our order. The menu has a good variety with lots of seafood choices, which are much higher priced, as one would expect. We never bother ordering a "combo" plate because the price doesn't seem to make sense--about $8 for "one item" with rice and beans, while the "one item" ala carte is only $2 to $2.75. So, we just order up several ala carte tacos, enchiladas, etc., which gives a much better value in my opinion. This trip we tried a plain cheese crisp ($5.75) some carnitas tacos ($2 each) and a green chili enchilada. Along with the complimentary chips and salsa with several salsas and guacamole from the salsa bar. The food came out quickly, was well prepared and tasted great. The chips were exceptional--very thin, crispy and not oily. With several salsas to choose from it was easy to find one for each of our particular tastes. The tacos are served street style on warm (not fried) double corn tortillas topped with cilantro and onion. The carnitas filling was tender and juicy, but not highly seasoned, which was fine for topping with a salsa. The cheese crisp was loaded with white Mexican cheese instead of the boring cheddar. Likewise, the green cheese enchilada was stuffed with cheese and was delish, although for my taste could have used a bit more green sauce. The total bill for two of us was only $20 which included a 20%+ tip. Great food AND a great value in my opinion. Well worth the almost half hour drive from our home in Prescott. - I you feel this review is Useful, Funny, or Cool, please check the boxes below. Thanks

Yelp
The best Mexican food in Prescott Valley hands down! Their food is so delicious and takes me back to eating at my Tias house. We will be returning and sharing this place with friends and family.

Brent K.

Yelp
We stumbled on this by Chance, and gave it a try. Had a great meal. The tacos were amazing. The lady in the front was as helpful as can . Will be back. Great little place.

Rose T.

Yelp
We loved the food! Authentic Mexican food with super cute decor inside: very cozy. Will definitely be back!
