15 Options for Takeout and Delivery In Prince George’s County | Eater DC

"This Route 1 outpost of an essential D.C. taco shop has many of the Puebla-style favorites from the original. It also offers margaritas to-go, which pair well with queso fundidio, chilaquiles, or tacos al pastor. Order online or by phone for carryout." - Tim Ebner

I just had an absolutely unreal meal at Taqueria Habanero’s brand new location and I’m already counting down the days to go back! I have been super into their chicken tinga quesadillas, because the cheese is next to godliness and the chicken and tortillas are bursting with flavor in every bite. Then the pulpo taco showed up and blew my mind. The octopus was smoky, tender, and straight-up dreamy. The mole, honestly, it was pure magic like a rich, deep, and layered happiness like nothing I’ve ever tasted before. And the leche flan melted in my mouth like a sweet little cloud. Every single dish was beyond delicious, seriously, if you haven’t been to Taqueria Habanero yet, you are missing out big time! I love the interiors too.

Missed the brick and mortar place so much, glad they’re back and right in the middle of college park! People are so nice and every single piece of food I’ve had here has been incredible. Get the salmon taco!

Amazing food, just an absolute gem. I had the pulpo, tinga tacos with the green sauce! Enjoy the tamarindo aguafresca! They gave us some leche flan which so delicious. Go here and grab yourself something to eat!

They have quite selections and taste good. If you like very spicy, ask for their habanero sauce.

So glad they have found a new home! The taco platter is a steal, and a perfect way to feed a group and all delicious. I had the shrimp torta (check the specials) and it was delicious! It looks like a super filling sandwich but the bread is so airy and light, that I had no problem finishing it. A generous amount of shrimp, perfect avocado and lots of cilantro.

This place is so great! Best quesadillas I have ever had and we love the rice and beans here. Just be warned that it’s pricey: $15 for a quesadilla- no sides or anything, literally just a quesadilla. But it’s so good. Great atmosphere and welcoming staff!

Really nice staff, atmosphere, and food! My only complaint is the use of plastic cutlery—it feels out of place when everything else suggests a sit-down experience. The quality isn’t great, and it’s surprising considering you don’t use plastic plates. Would love to see reusable utensils instead.

Tacos and enchiladas were fine. Very oily while tortillas were not fried or anything. Tacos de camarón are two pieces of shrimp per taco. The people next to us were waiting forever (my party finished eating before they got theirs) for their tacos while a guy (the owner maybe) spoke to them about El Salvador or something. Flan very expensive. I recommend Los Primos in Beltsville.
