I had high expectations since ive been at other locations but here food is very disappointing you get 30% Beef tendons which is not edible and tbe beef for the tacos asada is disappointing no seasoning cold beef no flavor im sure then gave me old beef from like 10am which didn't taste well the service was mediocre no greetings the employees were seen giggling and laughing with customers at view i won't be coming here agian ill be taking my business elsewhere, Good things Restaurant was clean & the drinks were delicious.

We stopped by Taquería HOY! around 9pm after trying a few other spots that had already closed—we were just craving some good tacos, and this place delivered! We ordered a carnitas burrito, three tacos (carnitas, pastor, and carne asada), plus a side of guacamole salsa, beans, and rice. Everything was fresh and flavorful, but the carnitas stole the show—tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. It’s a great little 24-hour spot if you’re looking for a quick, satisfying bite any time of day (or night). Definitely hit the spot for our taco fix!

The food was delicious, and juicy minus the chorizo. I recommend the asada and lengua (tongue) ask for light sauce or it will open up your senses. The place is clean, a bit dated but if that keeps the prices down then who cares. When I showed up the menu tv was in sleep mode/ screen saver. So I knocked points on that.

Tacos are 2.30 each and the size of the bag of chips has shrunk significantly but that is the sign of the times. Got 8 tacos and 4 bags of chips for 32 dollars including tax.

I would give this place a 4.5. The food is good. The tacos al pastor were great, better than other late night restaurants I’ve been to before. The rice and chiles were good sides to have with the tacos. The only thing was salsa was not as spicy and a little watery. The tacos de asada were a little dry. But the drinks were great as well. The atmosphere is very warm and lively, and the service is fast. Awesome place, I would come back again.

The food was ok. I can taste the freshness in the beans which overpower the rice and beans. My mom makes better beans but as fast food, it's a process to make good beans. Carne asada burrito 3.5/5 Tamarindo drink 3/5 Pros, green sauce is pretty good and not spicy for the non spicy lovers.

Very clean inside, AMAZING customer service, we got in no line no wait such sweet people! Ordered two carnitas tacos one carne asada and a carne asada burrito it was all delicious and authentic (no white washing!) only reason its not a 5 star is because the women's bathroom toilet would not flush. Hopefully its an easy fix because we are excited to go back! :)

Awesome tacos & burritos! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with smiles. I had the Carne Asada Burrito which was delicious! I loved how everything from the meat and onions were finely chopped and diced. The inside is clean and spacious. I totally recommend this place.

Tried this taco place and it was delicious. I had tacos de cabeza and carnitas. My tacos did not lack meat, they were full of meat needed a bit more salt for my personal taste. Salsa was delicious i had the red salsa. When in the area I will be coming back. The service was great, I was called senorita lol that made my evening

Definition of drunk tacos. This taco shop was created for the soul purpose to only serve tacos for drunk people. They are open 24/7 near downtown and are not the best but really hit when it is 2 PM after a night of fucking the club up. I don't know if they really are good tbh since anything taste bomb when you are under the influence. The few times I've ate here was after a peda so I have a vivid memory of eating these tacos. I remember seeing Freddy mercury from queen in here once no cap. Idk man I will have to go again sober to give it a true vibe rating but most likely I won't be. But anyways, service is great and tacos hit late night so I will give it a dank review of 6.3/10.

24 hour taco place near my rehearsal studio lockout. solid food, quick service and reasonable prices. the al pastor tacos had good flavor and the salsa verde had some kick. the asada and rice in my burrito was extremely good. is it gourmet? no. is it a solid taco and burrito place? yeah. to me that's a win.

Sorry but the burritos we got were high key mid, They packed it with meat but the bites were so dry I feel like a little sour cream would've saved it, 6/10

Always my go-to when I'm craving a quick yet affordable taco bite. They're open 24/7 which is a plus when you want something late at night. Parking is always easy. Staff is usually nice but occasionally there would be someone that isn't very pleasant, which I don't really mind. My favorite protein from them is the cabeza. They also have grilled serrano peppers and onions if you ask. Their salsas are a hit or miss at times it doesn't always taste the same. Overall this place still satisfies my cravings and I will always be going here for my quick bite!

Food is not the best but customer service is really good tacos are pretty salty and dry .. they always put to much onions and cilantro as well ..

Wow this wasn't as expected. Buddy told me he was going here and would I want him to pick me up anything. Carna asada burrito was the selection as was so crap. Dry, lacked flavor , fell apart. Was delivered so maybe that contributed but see no reason to eat from hear again.

I love this spot and have been coming here for years now. Tonight I really wanted tacos and burrito for a late dinner so I drove here to pick up food for the entire family. Pretty solid Al Pastor burrito until I started eating my tacos. Unbeknownst to me, when I started eating my chorizo taco there was a sharp piece of metal in my mouth. I spit it out only to discover what looked like a staple or a hog ring. I was planning to save this for my kid but ended up tossing the rest of the food away due to safety concerns. They really need to inspect their food preparation operation cuz this is totally unacceptable and a hazard to anyone.

I stopped by and got several different call meat options. Carne Asada, chicken and Al pastor. Also had a side a rice. I enjoyed the tacos for taqueria HOY!

Taco Tuesday, 6pm, calm and cool vibes, service was friendly and fast as always. Tacos and Horch were bussin. I've said it before and I'll happily say it again, this is one of the best taco spots in OC. 10/10, does not miss.

I got 4 tacos here and I was pleasantly surprised with how quick the service here was. The setup is similar to taco stands that you would find outside but they have a legitimate set up. Overall the tacos were not bad for the price. Each taco was $2.05 and they loaded it with a good amount of meat. I also really liked their tortilla flavor.

Just alright tacos but they're open 24hrs so level set expectations. You come for the convenience so its obviously gotta balance out or this place would be mobbed. It's a very bare bones restaurant more akin to a fast food joint with sterile lighting and mostly booth seating. Menu is pretty barebones too, just a selection of meats, burritos and quesadillas. Meats don't really have a ton of crisp from the flattop nor tenderness from the stewing/steaming. I usually love lengua and cabeza but it wasn't spoon tender, the buche was the best of all in terms of texture and flavor. The salsa bar is closed later in the night (right before 10pm tonight) probably for the skeleton crew and there's only one napkin dispenser. Bathrooms and restaurant itself was fairly clean though. Best part about this place is the taco jail in the parking lot. If you've ever wondered how animals felt in a zoo, go eat some tacos out there by your lonesome.

Carne asada burritos are good size. Better deal than the $2.25 street tacos. Taste has changed since the breakup of Taco de Anda family. Maybe more about profit vs. authentic taste.

$3 per taco. Got to try them at the Anaheim Ducks game and I got to say it was very authentic and fast service.

I especially come here late at night as this is one place that's always open and is good . The service is fast, attentive and friendly, I usually get the chicken tacos which are very good, I love the seasoning . The ambiance varies as it is a taco joint and like I said I come here late at night mostly and so there's a little bit of everything from people that work at night to people who are coming out the club and such . I recommend this place, can't go wrong with these delicious tacos .

This is my go to spot for tacos. I'll drive here just to get my al pastor taco fix. And my son loves the carne asada tacos. It has it's own parking lot. The restaurant is plenty big and the people that work there are passionate about what they do. The meats are juicy with flavor. I haven't had their burritos but I've seen it and it's massively big. Come with an appetite because you'll definitely walk out satisfied!

Formerly known as Taqueria de Anda with just a name change! Food taste the same as I usually get a Carne asada burrito. Filling with great flavors and the green and red sauces is a great compliment. The limes and sauces use to sit out for self serve, but now you will have to ask for it at the register. Overall I've noticed through out the many years of eating at taqueria de andas/hoy the prices have increased many times. Still good and I'll be coming back for more.

Postmated this last night and it was a mistake. I ordered 2 asada tacos, 2 Al pastor tacos, 2 lengua tacos, and a side of rice and beans. I hate writing bad reviews for places, but the food here really deserves no more than 1 star.... It took a long while for them to make the meal. And it was such a huge letdown. The taco meat was bland, unseasoned and tough. The tortillas were soggy and breaking apart. The rice and beans were way too salty, I could not eat them. Also... the carne asada was just ground beef? It honestly surprises me how they can pass this off as asada and all the rave reviews that are featured really confuse me?? Y'all need to get out there and try some real Mexican food lol. It was cheap, but definitely not even worth the money I spent on it.

We have been ordering catering from here few times for family parties and each time we were really satisfied with the food and service. We usually get the pollo and asada with all the rice and beans and salsa. What I really appreciate from this place is that their catering packaging is really on point! They wrapped everything individually well and double wrapped the salsa lids. They provided forks and spoons and serving spoons for all the trays, along with tons of napkins, salt, and limes. I really recommend this place if you want a stress free taco party!

I hate to be brutally honest, but these tacos aren't that great. They're mediocre at best, and I've tried many tacos (I'm a teacher in Huntington Park, and there are so many taco places). I got Cabeza, Pollo, and Carne Asada. The only positive is that they're open 24/7. After a night of drinking and partying, this place would probably hit the spot.

Honestly this place is a godsend after a long or short night out. This place is truly open 24/7 and that's everyday!!!! Every blessed holiday and weekend y'all. Honestly the food here is pretty subpar but the service is efficient and the prices are very reasonable. And yes it is possible to mask almost anything when it's covered in cheese. I recommend getting a quesadilla or burrito. They burritos are pretty thiccc and worth it. Do not recommend their horchata, kinda tastes bitter and watered down. Will def be back

Stopped by last night about this time. 2 employees that didn't even greet us. 1 customer eating. We order some tacos pastor chicken chorizo Asada. And a Pepsi. Everything looked good until we started eating it wasn't good and the salsa was spoiled. Very disappointed. We love tacos but this has been the worst experience. We left and had to go eat dinner somewhere else. To the owner if your interested in selling please reach out.

I used to love this place as my favorite taco place in all of OC. But nothing irks me more than paying more for less quality. This time around it was $2.05 per taco which has been steadily increasing since the good old days of $1.79. I totally get it with inflation and increased costs of goods. But I got my usual cabeza tacos and I wasn't even sure if it was really cabeza meat because it usually has some fatty tendony pieces in it, and this just tasted like some kind of pulled meat. And it tasted like I was eating the old batch from the leftovers of yesterday. Luckily I only got 3 tacos instead of 4, but yeah I felt disappointed with the value of the food for the price I paid ($6.72). Maybe they're only good when it's busy like the wee hours of the night, because I came around 11:30 am in the morning so I must have just been getting leftovers. Plus when I came, I noticed the screens that show the menu were down. Not sure if it was bc of the light rain going on at the time. But It would have been nice to get an acknowledgment of that. Bc if I wasn't a regular who had a usual order, then that would have been a problem for sure. I haven't seen the manager who previously would greet me and recognize me, maybe there is new management. But service was alright. At least they were nice to use my cup for water, and even asked if I wanted ice. After I finished eating, I thought of asking if I had received the right meat since it didn't taste the same, but I didn't want to make them feel bad or feel embarrassed for even asking. They probably would have said yeah it was cabeza anyways. Anyways, I'm truly sad that I had a mediocre at best experience at my favorite taco place. Came here to vent. Oh - and I added an old picture, maybe from last year 2022 or 2021, showing how generous they used to be in doling out the meat portions for the tacos. And now it's meh portion and meh quality :/ Maybe I'll only go when it's super late next time to see if it's better.

Late night eat but perfect any time of day! Came here in a whim and got the pork cheek, carnitas and carne asana. Great authentic variety and has the yummy chili's on the side. Totally recommend!

La verdad este lugar solo sabe bien cuando vienes después de la fiesta ya sea los viernes o sábados ,de ahí en fuera entre semana siempre atiende un señor con una actitud tan prepotente y siempre te revuelve las órdenes sin mencionar que no se que le echan al chorizo que siempre te sale basurita o palitos .

I ordered online today and went in person to pick it up. There was a bit of a language barrier during the pick up. When I was leaving the restaurant, which was completely empty besides us, the employees were both laughing at me when I left. They were highly unprofessional I ordered a wet burrito and it was not very good. The sauce it was in is literally hot sauce and is super vinegar heavy and cost me $13

I HATE TACOS!! AND BURRITOS!!! Maybe cause I'm from Texas or it's just me... I've had good and better but this placeeeeee IS FREAKING BOMB ASF!!! I ordered the wet burrito for five days straight. It's just fantastic, order! Go! Now!

To preface, I ordered through UberEats. Food: We ordered 2 burritos and the best part is that there is not a lot of tortilla. I am baffled at how many other Mexican restaurants would have so much tortilla to create the illusion that their burritos are larger than they truly are. Taqueria Hoy is authentic to their customers providing actual food content in their servings. That is something I very much appreciate. Above all, they have lengua!!! Cost: I think their price is tough to beat especially when paired with the level of deliciousness their food offers. Even with the surcharge from food delivery services, I am still more than willing to continue eating here.

Been coming here for 15+ years always been my favorite for burritos but quality changed since they changed names/ or ownership. Normally I let it slide when the burrito is off but today was just bad. I've noticed for a while they changed there beans maybe the new owner is lowering food cost which always ruins the reputation when things change but today just disgusted me not only that they put more rice and beans then meat unlike before. A lot of new staff come and go only a few of the old crew stayed. Just different. Only reason I gave it a two star is because of history of it but they definitely need to rethink those beans and ratio to rice, beans and meat. Not the same as it used to be. I remember it being packed all the time especially at night now it's just calm/lonely.

This used to be Taqueria de Anda, but according to the employees, the owner sold three chains, this being one of them. Nothing noticeable was changed besides the name. The parking lot is still big, having enough space for cars. They actually have a truck now, but am unsure when it's used. Upon entering two security guards open the door for you. They have more staff and it can be seen that the food gets prepared faster. The menu is more simple and easier to read. The staff was actually polite this time (when they were TDA they were rude depending on who it was) They gave more portion of meat (got one burrito, two tacos and a quesadilla) and the wait was short to get the food and pay! Food was decent and definitely filling. Not sure why the reviews aren't as good, but I did enjoy my experience in this newly owned Taqueria hoy. If you are in the mood for Mexican food anytime, come

Really wanted to love this place. Today was only the 2nd time ordering here. Food tastes good but GOD do I hate places that don't read the instructions when they ASK you if you have any instructions for your food. I asked for no onions so guess what happened? I got a moutful of onions on my first bite completely disgusting Even if I picked the onions out which is not how I wanted to spend my lunch break, there is an overload of onions that every bite just smells and tastes like raw onions even after taking them out. that's a quick $25 for 2 burritos down the drain just cause they ignored the note.

Decent prices and the quality of the meat isn't great but you get what you pay for. I must add that the guys making the tacos need to change their gloves more often.

I am not sure why no one has said anything about the reviews!! What happened to https://www.taqueriadeanda.com/? HUH? Can we stop and rewind!? Not only has the ownership has changed but the meat especially de carne asada or the beef it is not what it used to be. (except Al pastor) The flower tortillas for the burritos are way different. We killed it but it was not the same then to my dismay I kept seeing "HOY" "HOY" and nothing that read "DE ANDA" What on earth happened? Why I am giving them a three star? Well, that is because behind the cashier (the kitchen) I saw "El Trompo" for Al pastor. Freshly being made! YUM! I wish I could of taken a pix but everything happened really fast. So if you are an expert on Al pastor y el trompo. How it should be done then this is your taco stop. I liked the flavor of Al pastor, but my boyfriend kept shaking his head "no!" because he grew up in Mexico. (Whatever it has a good adobe flavors if anything, it kindov was greasy. I just think he is emotionally attach to De Anda and for him it was big let down) I am just stund no one has said or written a darn word. How ownership has changed. I know change happens especially in the world of taqueria's during covid-19. Fast service they take cards. I liked the flavor of Al Pastor but I miss taqueria de Anda. Sorry but I am sad that a childhood taqueria is gone. I remember taqueria de Anda when it was just a food truck. Simple beginnings and that goes back to the 80's!

2 AM tacos! My husband ordered 6 tacos and I got a burrito with just meat, cheese, and rice. It was great for my husband's Mexican food craving after we got off the plane. Staff is very nice and the place was blasting music.
