Well done Invicto! I had not been back in about a year and they have freshened up their menu in a very creative way. They now have fun hip options like smashburger tacos and Mexican hot chicken tacos. The tacos were great. The smashburger taco hit almost all the flavor notes it just really needed some more flavor texture. If it added something crunchy it would be perfect. The hot chicken taco was also good it just got a little lost by the mountain of lettuce they stacked under the chicken. Overall both were good. The seating area needed to be cleaned and the high chairs were filthy, that is why I marked down stars for atmosphere. The only other negative is it seemed to take a while for 3 tacos to be cooked with fries when no one else was waiting for food. Again, overall a great experience and would come back again.

First time here and the atmosphere and food was fantastic! Music made me feel like I was on vacation. Delicious veggie taco options. The chips were crunchy and fresh and I loved the little salsa cart. Prices were good too. Nice to have sit down quality without the sit down prices.

I love the food from here ! So much flavor and a bit different from your usual Mexican food. They have a sauce bar where you can pick what sauces you would like with your meal . The employees are super nice and helpful. The margaritas a little too sweet for me but if you like sweet drinks , they’re pretty good. Highly recommend the green chorizo mulas , elote, and shrimp tacos .

I’ve been coming here for years .. good food but lately portions are getting smaller and smaller. Usually I get the avocado taco and it was pretty good size. Today I ordered one and almost took it back to ask where the avocado is see picture of could barely tell. There’s avocado in there for the amount of money that they charge you would think that they would at least give you two pieces of skinny avocado. I know times are hard but come on…

The food is great! If you are looking for some quick delicious Mexican fulfillment this is the spot. Quality ingredients with limited choices. The burritos are huge! Drinks, you pick your Mexican choice, they have it.

My fave Mexican restaurant. Hand made tortillas. Great vibe in restaurant. Great fast lunch place, but I also come for dinner.

I’ve always wanted to post reviews because I feel like honesty is super helpful, so here it goes. My family and I went to Taqueria Invicto and tried a bunch of things, but honestly… I wouldn’t go back. The good: The Hot Cheeto Burrito with the veggie filling was actually pretty solid. It’s different and worth trying if you’re near one of their locations. The salsa bar was great, and the Churro Shake wasn’t bad—probably a 6.5/10. The not-so-good: We also tried the veggie tacos and a plain burrito. They were okay, but not worth a return trip. What really frustrated me was the lack of customization. For example, I just wanted basic veggies like onion and bell peppers, but they’d only let me do a full veggie mix with random stuff I didn’t want. It made no sense because some items were customizable, but others weren’t. Plus, everything was ordered through a self-serve kiosk, which made it even harder to adjust anything. They’ve got spots in Des Plaines, Naperville, Oak Brook, and Vernon Hills, so if you’re into trying a Hot Cheeto Burrito, it might be worth it. But if you’re vegetarian or picky about your toppings? Definitely not worth the hassle.

Stopped in for tacos with my sister, who said this place had the best food. Ordered the chicken, steak, and avocado tacos. The chicken taco was very meaty and packed. The avocado tacos were flavorful, with pico de gallo and crema. The steak tacos were the best! The meat was marinated and tender, with toppings that complimented the filling nicely. The hand-made tortillas really add to the heartiness of the tacos. Also ordered a side of chips and guacamole. A perfect companion to our meal!
