Taqueria Jefes

We stopped here for a quick bite after landing at 9 PM, and it was perfect. The owner is incredibly nice and helpful. We ordered the bistec tacos, a bistec quesadilla (the pan-fried tortilla was flaky and delicious), and the Be Fajita (which I 100% recommend. It has a great chargrilled flavor.). I loved that the food wasn't salty, just really flavorful. Be careful with the sauces—the "mild" has a kick and the hot is very spicy! Definitely recommend stopping by this food truck if you're in the area.

Great tacos! We stopped here after a late night flight into Austin. The fajita tacos were amazing and the salsas were so good! The food was made fast, we waited less than 10 minutes. I will definitely be returning to try some other types of tacos.

Im visiting from out of town, I asked a local where can I get some good tacos....thankfully they told me about this spot. Tacos were great, portions were big and the owner was awesome to talk to. Would eat there again....and again....and again

Amazing tacos and amazing service!! Jefes is a gem and I make sure to stop by anytime I’m in the area! You can’t go wrong with any tacos although the pastor are my personal favorite!! Also the salsa is always fresh and you can tell!

This little taco trailer packs some serious flavor! The owner and jefe is very skilled at making these flavorful foods, even the hot dogs pack some power! The al pastor tacos are definitely my favorite, but you seriously can't go wrong with any of the items offered, they are all top notch! I've tried em all save for the nachos, I never get there before it's sold out! Haha. Definitely a spot worth the stop!!

Jefe's is a really small trailer, but don't let it fool you... the food is excellent! Jefe is a super nice and guy and very engaging. Tripas was outstanding! Pastor was decent, I prefer the trampo method of stacked pork and pineapple but this was well seasoned and not as sweet which I liked. Bistec is a solid ground beef style but load it up with salsa. Jefe... yer spicy green salsa was really good and not too hot for this gringo 👊
