Google
Me and my mom have been coming here for years. We love the tacos/ la torta sabrosa. They also have a delicious selection of various salsas. Muy rico todo. Y’all are sleeping on this place. It’s delicious. Authentic Mexican food.

Rolando L.

Google
Tacos on the weekends are great. Una torta de suadero del secret menu a must best torta I have had in a while. Won't regret coming ana having the tacos here.

Google
They make huge hand quesadillas of chicken, chorizo ,huitlacoche, flor de calabaza, chicharrón, carne asada ,you can order mix also the make fresh water fruits 😋 any fruit pineapple , strawberry 🍓 , carrots 🥕 orange, cantaloupe ,shakes, sodas . Sometimes, they take time to bring your food, and they have different types of food , pozole ,birria , and enchiladas, pambazos ,tortas ,tacos dorados ,tacos de asada pollo, all kind but it is worth 😋 salsas are really good 👍

Google
This place is absolutely amazing. Don’t be fooled by the location. The food is exquisite. Friday-Sunday from 5-11pm they have outside tacos with various salsas, aguas frescas, and taco condiments. You will not regret your visit here. Not to mention it’s affordable and they pack your food with tons of toppings and protein. Delicioso! Este lugar esta bien rico. Retacan tu comida con mucha carne y esta bien barato. Viernes a Domingo de 5-11pm tienen tacos afuera y el ambiente esta bien chingon.

Carla N.

Google
The truest Mexican food in Fullerton. People are always friendly and welcoming. Chips with beans and salsa are so good, they bring them out before your food. I got a chorizo and papa pambaso, so good, so spicy!

Daniel H.

Google
Food quality isn't consistent anymore , went in for some of the worst tacos I've ever had, the meat was dry and literally had 0 flavor. Bad business . I'll go somewhere else next time

Tim B.

Google
Friendly staff and great authentic food. Seems like everyone knows everyone in this place!

Yelp
First of all, cash only. First time. Ordered a Carne Asada Torta, only $10! The torta was loaded with avocado, and they had a salsa bar (6 different kinds) all delicious. You have to check it out super cheap, definitely worth it! Support this taqueria, it's a classic.
google avatar

Yelp
Fast service good food always busy highly recommended never a disappointed customer here

Yelp
My dad loves his hole in the wall spots so he told me to go try and omg definitely hidden but so so worth the try! It's a ma and pa restaurant and they are welcoming. Food took a little while to come out but not over 30 minutes. They have a salsa bar, plenty of seating, and ac. The food tasted like authentic Mexican food can't wait to try their other entrees! Ps they only take cash BUT they also accept Zelle

Yelp
The quality of the Chilaquiles dish and the service is in sharp contrast to the atmosphere. The little corner strip mall is a bit run down and has a CircleK that can be downright scary at night. I ate my breakfast in the parking lot on a clean table under an EZ-UP but I left like a million bucks because the service and food were so good. The Chilaquiles here includes a piece of carne asada, two eggs, rice and beans. You choose red or green chilaquiles. I ordered at the counter and went outside to sit down. You need to know some Spanish but everyone was nice about my horrible attempts at speaking. As soon as I sat down, someone brought me a chipotle salsa, an avocado salsa, and a basket of chips that have been lightly covered in beans and cheese and toasted. A free appetizer, nice! Later the huge breakfast plate came out as you can see in the picture. Rice was perfectly fluffy, with a taste of tomato. The beans were creamy and had a hint of pork and epazote flavor. So good! The piece of carne asada was thin flap meat pounded and thoroughly cooked but had distinctive Asada flavor and wasn't too chewy. I appreciated that there was no fat or gristle so I could eat the whole thing easily. The eggs were prepared as I requested (broken yoke) and the whites were crispy. The star, the green chilaquiles, was delicious - piquant, tangy, sour, and rich all at the same time, like a good enchilada sauce. The chips were fresh, thick triangles - some tender from the sauce and others crispy from the lack of sauce. Garnish was some queso seco (dry, crumbly, salty Mexican cheese) and crema (thin sour cream). I cleaned my plate and now it's time for a siesta.

Yelp
I really, really liked the chilaquiles from here. I'm very picky when it comes to them, so trust that the flavor is there. They come with carne asada on top, too, which is a great combination. The egg was also cooked perfectly, and the flavor of the beans meshed well. My only complaints about the place are: 1) they don't speak English 2) it's CASH ONLY Those aside, they're very kind and those chilaquiles were ‍ I'll 100% be back.
google avatar

Sonido P.

Yelp
Food is good just they take forever (more tan one hour) to serve you. In the past, the pineapple water was really good. Now, the water taste like water sugar really bad. Generally I don't recommend this place any more.
google avatar

Jonathan B.

Yelp
I been coming to this taqueria for almost 20 years now. Don Ise and his staff are always so nice and welcoming. I'm here almost every weekend for their tacos. Try the quesadillas too
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered a chorizo burrito in the AM and only ate 1/2 because it was big. Very tasty. I wanted to reheat it and eat the rest in the afternoon, so I went back and asked if I could buy a condiment size salsa. The owner told the girl no, they only sell it by the cup for $6. I didn't need 6oz of salsa. He didn't even look at me, just kept himself in the kitchen. There are lots of taco places in Fullerton. I did notice they like to reheat the rice and beans in the styrofoam containers which I don't like, so it's easy to say this place lost a customer. At least I offered to pay for it and not pull the I already bought something card because they don't even give receipts to customers.
google avatar

Yelp
The food is okay. They purposely shorted me on change. I ordered a burrito and before taxes the burrito was $7. The guy working the register fumbled and took longer than usual to put through my transaction. I saw him crouch and reach below the register to look for change, because the register did not have enough change for $10 dollars. I only received $2 back as change, despite the register saying that the change is a total of $2.44. I asked the guy why I only received $2 back. He played the fool and said that because of tax it brought the total to $8. Correct me if I am wrong but the tax is about 8% in Orange County. Tax equating to whole dollar does not seem right for a $7 item. It wasn't worth wasting more of my lunch time over $0.44 cents. For place that is cash only they were not on point with having enough change for the day. Bad first impression. Because of their dishonesty I will never come back again.

Yelp
Delicious Mexican food! Order this: Quesadilla de chicharrón (they have 'normal' which is pork rinds in salsa or 'prensado' which is a block of pressed pork). I get chicharrón normal, and it's always, consistently good. Quesadilla is made fresh, it's not a flour tortilla, it's made with Masa. Covid recommendation: We called in ahead of time and picked up. Easy and quick Enjoy!
google avatar

Ezequiel G.

Yelp
Best food I have ever had friendly staff and a lot of choices of salsa's they are open late
google avatar

Christine R.

Yelp
this place was recommended by my mexican family friends who know good mexican food, and this did not disappoint! we arrived to order 7 wet burritos - pastor, carnitas, and carne asada. we were told to wait about 20 minutes and in the meantime we filled our salsa containers with a variety of salsas at the taco station outside. there were at least 5 varieties! the employees were so kind and helpful offering bags for us to carry all our salsa. the location was quaint with outdoor seating, 3 tables inside, and a bathroom. not sure what this looks like during non-covid times but really liked how the outdoor area was set up with the string lights. seems like a nice spot to stop and enjoy some tacos on a nice night! all burritos were huge and delicious! and not bad priced either at ~$7 each. they did get the order mixed up between those with red vs green salsa on top, but we were all still happy with our burritos and they all still were tasty. will definitely go back! seems like the quesadillas are a popular item here so eager to try that next time

Yelp
Nice people, fast service, great food! We ordered at the counter and sat outside. Soon after, a basket of warm chips with beans and cheese melting on top were brought to the table with a green salsa and a hot red. I've never seen that before but wow, super good! Husband had a chicken burrito which disappeared quickly! It was big and tasty. I had a carnitas quesadilla that was seriously a foot long! It was not made with a traditional burrito size tortilla but a handmade tortilla probably half the size of a burrito tortilla. It was delicious but I couldn't finish it! Flavorful carnitas, cheese, lettuce and sour cream. Blink and you'll miss this little place but don't miss it! Lunch and two bottled waters for less than $20.
google avatar

Christie A.

Yelp
Cabeza and suadero tacos are a must. Carnitas con cueritos and asada are also good. There's usually a line to order so order more than you think you want, or else you'll have to get in line again (talking from experience here). Make sure to get some jalapeños and grilled onions on the side. If you ever had tacos en CDMX, this is as close as it gets.
google avatar

Teresa A.

Yelp
The food is NOT good. I had a quesadilla and it had no flavor. Very, very bland. The place is dirty too. Long wait times. Cash only. Expensive for what you get.
google avatar

Francis D.

Yelp
I am absolutely in love with this place for its authenticity and how delicious the food is. The food is also inexpensive and everything was so delicious. ESPECIALLY THE TACOS! Phew. They stacked so much meat into those things I was FULL. The place comes with many different versions of salsa too. It's the best time. I am so satisfied and so happy with everything this place offers.
google avatar

Mario Y.

Yelp
As I titled the picture I uploaded, Bomb "Torta de Milanesa" they gave me a basket of tortilla chips with sprinkles of cheese and beans. BOMB!!! I drank a fresh watermelon drink $11. All I can say is BOMB. I didn't find one hair, and I was looking, because of a comment someone left 8 months from the date I'm posting this, and I looked hard. I almost didn't eat here because of that comment. I'm SO glad I didn't leave, bomb food.
google avatar

Alicia P.

Yelp
If you love Mexican tortas and delicious quesadillas this is the place to eat , the salsa is very taste and the nachos with beans they give you for free , the fresh waters like agua the tamarindo y agua de orchata are delicious too . Thank you taqueria la Bamba is open now
google avatar

Esmeralda M.

Yelp
Highly recommended, I love their homemade quesadillas, the tinga with cheese are the best

Ria Z.

Yelp
Two Carnitas Wet Burritos each $9. Looked good but full of fat & little meat. Overall cleanliness inside is poor. Will not return.
google avatar

Kev M.

Yelp
I love to support these little mom and pop places. Nothing fancy.. just good Mexican food. Simple menu, great prices! And nice people. It doesn't look like much, but it's clean and tasty Support our local business

Leo R.

Yelp
Fast food served as street tacos, pretty good. Be ready to wait in line for awhile, only one person cooking and serving, so took a while to get food. Their tacos the suadero were the best. Decent tacos the asada, cabeza tacos need improvement, no flavor, too mushy and greasy, otherwise ok. They have a place to sit down and eat, which is a plus, most street taco places you eat standing outside.
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
Amazing customer service!!!!!! Pozole is the best. I have now found my late go to place for some real authentic Mexican food. Bring cash as they don't take cards. Well worth the 18.00 on two orders of pozole and a flan for dessert.
google avatar

Marcos N.

Yelp
Best quesadillas ever!!! Authentic Mexican food. Don't ask for texmex like asada quesadillas. Get real: huitlacoche, chicharron, hongos, flor de calabaza. They need an update in image and shortening the menu, but it's authentic and delicious
google avatar

Frank G.

Yelp
Authentic Mexican food good spot The tacos are good family owned business. The owner It's really helpful recommend this place open late calling you or sometimes if it's busy
google avatar

Daisy T.

Yelp
I decided to stop by for food while I waited for my laundry. I asked for (2) tacos. While they were being made, one person in the back was coughing all over the place without covering his mouth as well as the cashier. The person cooking the food was not wearing gloves and was grabbing the meat with Bare hands and placing it on the tortilla. He then proceeded to help a new customer and handled his money. He returned to finish making the tacos, again using his bare hands and at no point did he wash his hands. I really was grossed out at the lack of hygiene from all the workers here. I paid for the tacos and took them but decided to toss them.

Yelp
Service was super duper good. THe lady speaks limited English but she tried very hard to communicate efficiently. I speak bad spanish so we got along =) The culture was like Cheers. Locals would come in just to say hello, drop this or that off, try this or that, and all kinds of crap. That was nice. There was a local who just wanted to talk to the jefe, he was saying hi to me, but he couldn't speak any English so he just did the catholic thingy where you move your arms across your chest... (I'm a Protestant, that means we protest against the apostate catholic church and blasphemous pope =D). Anyhoo. Four tacos and a cheese jalapeno quesadilla is $14.00 OUCH! Pastor was delicious. I loved the nice tangy, mildly sweet bbq with the cebolla. YUMMIEEES. The quesadilla was bomb. I asked if she can add jalapenos and sin carne. I want a quesadilla not a flat burrito! gna mean? Everything was wonderful here except the price. boo hoo

Yelp
- Locale Destination - It's on S Harbor Blvd and E Valencia Dr in Fullerton. It's in a tiny corner shopping plaza. Ambiance: Decor/atmosphere was very outdated, little dingy, casual, pop & mom shop. Small shop. Service: Very little English. It seemed friendly, but the language barrier was huge, and she couldn't help me anything about the pricing... Payment: Cash only - ATM inside Menu: Not big menu, but there's no price on the menu - 2 quesadillas for $15?! Parking: Very small but plenty of street parking if not available. - Gluttony Expedition - Salsa: Their green cilantro sauce and red hot sauce are pretty good! They'll give you chips with beans and salsas! Papas y chorizo quesadilla: Good! Potato and nice not-so-spicy chorizo in it! Good, but it was kinda small - even for me. $7 seems a little overpriced for this. Carne Asada quesadilla: Nothing special. - Conqueror's Deduction - Papas y chorizo quesadilla and the salsas were good, however, it was a little overpriced. I don't want to wonder how much I need to pay every time I come here. They should put the price on the menu. My BFF is white - he felt we were ripped off.. I wouldn't come back here just for this inconvenience.
google avatar

Yelp
I bought 3 tacos and 2 sopes for $10. They came with a gratuitous side of refried beans one top of chips with cheese melted on top. They really packed the meat into the tacos, which is cool. The sopes were good too, about the size of my hand. It was more food than I needed. I probably could have been satisfied with either the tacos, or the sopes, but I'm an American god dang it. And by God I'll eat a butt ton of food if it's cheap. I would recommend this restaurant to all white people. Come eat some tacos and drink Mexican coke while watching g soccer on Univision. When the tv screams goaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllll, you'll Feel like it's screaming for you. Because you made a damned excellent lunch decision.
google avatar

Carol G.

Yelp
Delicious chips. The texture and taste are like the ones from Taco Bell. Liked how they had many sauces & cactus! My favorite was the chunky green one and the deep red sauce. Got the carne asada quesadilla. The meat had a bit of an unpleasant smell to it, but I am going to try another meat next time. Inside arrangement can be a bit uncomfortable because there is not much space, so come when you expect it not to be busy. Otherwise, you may feel people are in your personal space. You may want to be careful in the parking lot since there are cars coming from many directions. Downside is cash only. Service was friendly. Anyway, would definitely visit again.
google avatar

Rita H.

Yelp
I've eaten here for years. I cannot get enough of their quesadillas! Delicious and fresh, not greasy at all. Small business "hole in the wall" type place. Great customer service, cash only! But definitely worth the trip to the ATM. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Don N.

Yelp
My go to spot in fullerton for mexican food. These guys take their time prepping for delicious meals. Communication is difficult if you dont speak spanish, and their prices seem to be inconsistent.
google avatar

Ser A.

Yelp
I came to have some authentic Mexican food n I found it. One of the best quesadillas, tacos, tortas I love the green salsa Hot n fresh that way I like. Great customers service. Friendly staff. Takes time to cook the food but is good..highly recommended.
google avatar

Angie M.

Yelp
REALLY good food. I had the Carne Asada Burrito, and my friend had the Carne Asada Quesadilla which was not a standard quesadilla, but it was delicious! They serve chips with cheese and beans before your meal with salsa and the green salsa is fantastic! I do think I was at a bit of a disadvantage not knowing Spanish... my friend did, however, so they spoke to her with questions and for our order. The place is smaller, and has about 10 tables to sit at I would say... I really, really liked the food... I wouldnt have chosen this place on my own, but I am glad we went!
google avatar

Paul A.

Yelp
I have driven by here for years and now I will be subject to driving by here even more, because I live in Anaheim, off Harbor and my Ex-wife lives in Fullerton, off Harbor. So I see this place a lot and I don't particularly like the small center it is located in, so I avoid it, but today I'm on a mission, operation check off. I start with Taco boy on Anaheim blvd second trip check and on my way home from the gym I try La Bamba. Instantly I'm a fan because of the name and this place does seem clean. I order my tacos cabeza al pastor carnitas I prefer Barbacoa above all else, but... they don't have it. The Al Pastor has amazing spices, although fatty The Carnitas was juicy and tender- makes me think of El Toro Bravo The Cabeza was good, but the least of the three The cook was great and yes, he brought out the food and was very nice. The cashier, not so friendly and could probably use some additional customer skills to grow the business. Their local customer was an older gentleman with some type of illness, he was yelling a lot and seemed a little out of it. I will definitely be back.
google avatar

Antonio D.

Yelp
We love you Yolanda from Michoacán Mexico we love your auténtica comida mexicana now we work on the days you are available you will make home make tortillas if we want it thank you so much from the Monday friends

Yelp
I used to come here to eat with my family until one day I got poisoned . The several last few times I ate here I would always find a hair in my food. The people who would cook the food in the back wouldn't wear the hair nets . I'm not gonna lie they're quesadillas here are good in the exception of the hairs falling inside the food it really did grossed me out and well with me getting food poisoning summed it up for me .

Theresa L.

Yelp
Today I went To purchase barbacoa for breakfast , got home no limes or salsa in the bag and the barbacoa was completely salty, after paying 15 $ we could not even eat it. Ever since the previous owner left the business the restaurants has completely changed and has gone down hill. Looks like I will be finding a new spot for barbacoa.

Rodrigo T.

Yelp
I'm here now, I asked for a few tacos and they all kept eyes on me like I was gonna steal. I enjoyed my food and went to the restroom and had 3 people escort me to pay. Sorry, you don't use gloves, you use the same black iron to make veggie plates. Hope y'all get it.
google avatar

Mario D.

Yelp
Hands down one of the best Mexican food places, I randomly walked in to this place after waiting for my girls hair to be did. Looked like a normal taco place. Service was good and we did used to eat there. We ordered a plate of tacos with rice and beans and also a steak quesadilla with a side of rice. The presentation was great!! Quesadilla made with fresh handmade corn tortilla and we got free chips and salsas?? What!? Just a great place over all. Definitely will be coming back here to eat again. Strongly recommend to any Mexican food connoisseur !! Enserio, muy sabroso todo aquí, lo recomiendo de verdad. Provecho!
google avatar

Jeff D.

Yelp
Food is awesome prices are very fair service was A+ I would have given 5 stars but right out side the door it smelled like pee, maybe a spray bottle with bleach and hose it down every morning the smell kinda lingers into the restaurant
google avatar

Ana J.

Yelp
Came here for the second time after not coming here for years . I order an azada torta and it was pretty good . My friend order a burrito de azada and she found a piece of napkin in between her rice , and after found a piece of leaf
google avatar

Armando G.

Yelp
I took my gf there for some real Mexican food and it was good ! The workers were really nice and I even accidentally dropped my drink and they were so polite and got me a new drink. Definitely worth checking out
google avatar

Stewart S.

Yelp
Tender, well seasoned meats. Folks are very nice here but if you polish up on your high school Spanish, you'll have an easier time of it. Always a lot of take-out orders from this little neighborhood joint. They don't have a price list for some reason and it's cash only so that could be a concern but everything is very reasonably priced. $1.40 for big street tacos, $5.50 for big fat burritos. Everything is really good here too.
google avatar

Mayra V.

Yelp
I've been coming here since for the past 21 years and is still one of my favorite places to get my sopes and tortas, the owner is very friendly and they give you free chips with beans on top and a side of green and red salsas both delicious by the way, and you can never go wrong with a Mango Boing drink to go with your order.. definitely recommend it

Michael A.

Yelp
Bomb, bomb, BOMB! Their machete quesadillas are my go to. Sopes, tacos, burritos.. everything is bomb. Plus there red salsa and avacado salsa are some of the best.
google avatar

David U.

Yelp
I came here Thursday night around 10PM and actually drove past this place the first time I was driving down Harbor blvd. I was looking for somewhere else to eat, but every other restaurant seemed to closed and the bars were starting to open up. So I ended up driving back here and went in to eat. When I first walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the place. The tables and floor were clean and the salsa bar was spotless. The man behind the counter was also very helpful and kind. My friend and I ordered 5 carne asada tacos total for the two of us and our total came out to $5.60 or so. The food came out in a couple of minutes and the man working the register brought out our food along with some salsa and big cups of water which was pretty fricking awesome because I didn't expect him to serve us and I drink water like a horse so the big cups were sweet (and free)! I really liked the fact that the man behind the counter went out of his way to get us our food along with salsa. That's some awesome customer service. The tacos were delicious and the salsa and lemon juice gave my tacos the bit of extra flavor it needed. All in all, great food and great service. On a side note, as I was leaving, I noticed the cook and the man who was working the register, shredding some cheese. When I asked him about it, he told me it was cheese from Mexico and that they shredded it by hand to use in their establishment. That's pretty dope. I've never heard or seen any other Mexican place doing this at all.
google avatar

Josh L.

Yelp
Had lunch with a colleague here today at his suggestion and he flipped the bill so why not? I love Mexican food so another reason to try out a new spot. The pro: - The carne asada burrito is delicious - Red and green salsa are delicious - The people are friendly - Authentic Mexican food because all the customers were Mexican! The con: - Dirty little rathole of a place....I mean seriously....the place was pretty filthy.
google avatar

Chris B.

Yelp
I could tell you all the cool stuff about the place. But when I comes down to it, I have a plate of cooked animal parts with cilantro and onions wrapped in little tortillas. Tacos are the greatest gift on earth.
