If you’re in Tulum and looking an an affordable, authentic experience I highly recommend this spot. Tacos are $1 each, beers are $2, the service is fast and friendly. We ate here a few times while in town, you just can’t go wrong with the Al pastor tacos, simply delicious. You can order them to go but I suggest eating there because they have an awesome salsa bar which also has a fermented cabbage salad to put n top of the tacos that’s delicious! Some things to note: it’s cash only, parking can be tough so expected to walk a few blocks and there’s no ac inside.

Asked a local for their favorite taco spot and this is what they recommended- absolutely did not disappoint! Their al pastor is insanely good, I couldn’t stop eating!!! I started with a beef and cheese empanada, an al pastor taco, and then an al pastor special gringa. The food was so good I ordered another pastor special gringa to go. The portion of meat for the price is incredible. Tacos are about $1 each and the special gringa (pictured) was only about $2.50 USD. The horchata was good too. We liked it so much, we’re going back for a late night snack to try the tortas lol. If you’re looking for a tasty, inexpensive authentic spot, you won’t miss choosing here! Keep in mind that it is cash only!

Authentic taqueria that is affordable in Tulum! Great for a late bite with friends in a no-frills place. Fast and nice service. Good salad bar you can help yourself to. Unfortunately I was disappointed by the al pastor even though it looked good. It was dry and tasteless. The steak was delicious though!

Super cheap and yummy tacos. Price for a bottle of cola (500ml) is only 30 pesos. Highly recommended when you're in Tulum!

This is exactly what I was looking for! Absolutely delicious tacos, just as you’d expect in Mexico. Locals eat here too, and the prices are totally reasonable. Make the trip and try the authentic Al Pastor tacos!

Great Al Pastor Tacos and good vegetarian options for a traditional taqueria. Most veggie set ups are mushroom and bean based with cabbage and avocado plus cheese is optional. Tasty refreshing horchata. Can’t beat the prices. Fast friendly service and good variety.

hands down 5 star favorite taco place. It’s not about the price. Even if they are 30 each I still think it’s one of the best place in town. Fast service, friendly staff, street seating is really cute. Love the salad bar. Hands down best in town. Do not miss this place. And if you go, go twice. Their pickled pepper is second to none. I ate here 4 times and each time happier.

Recommend this spot for delicious cheap tacos in Tulum. Service was fast. Lots of locals come here so you know it is authentic.
