Taqueria La Mangonada Plus

After a day with the kiddos, decided to step in here and try out a local Ice Cream spot. We were NOT disappointed! The ice cream flavors were very creamy and rich! And I also picked up some tamales! Delish!!! We will definitely back to try more of the menu selections!

The place was very clean and the person that helped me went above and beyond. I've never been to a shop like this before, so I was a little reluctant to order any ice creams or fruits because I knew in my mind what I wanted (yes, all those Tiktok and Instagram shorts with the fruit slathered in chamoy and generously dusted with tajin) but didn't want to take up her time. She was, despite my own personal insecurities, very gracious and helpful. They have tamales- chicken, pork, cheese (very hard to find), or corn and I of course got the cheese tamales. It was so good, but then there's also something I'd never heard of, "elotes nachos".. Highly recommend if you love elotes, you will not be disappointed. The serving was very generous and I even ate the excess elotes with my tamales because they were that good! I can't wait to try the desserts!

I always have their mangonada and the corn in a cup!!!! Its so delicious and a great snack. Ive been ordering it everyday!!!!! Please dont ever close

Friendly staff, great flavors in their ice creams. The flavors lean towards the Mexican side especially in the chocolate and vanilla flavors, slightly cinnamon in the chocolates and a richer vanilla.

We tried the birria from here because I was craving it and the pictures looked great! I am not sure if its a pop up kitchen but on dd its Taquieria la mangonado plus. It was the worst food we have ever had. Everything was bland! And instead of street corn we received some salad thing. Would not recommend!

Is a nice little spot in the corner. The tortas was pretty good. Omg the orchata was perfect! Not too sweet! And not water down! The paletas are very good too.. I need to come back and have the quesadilla. The lady at register was very pleasant and polite. I will definitely come back.

I think they need to hire people that knows how to speak English not just Spanish or both. Because I went here twice maybe even three times but I couldn't understand the older lady that couldn't speak English @all. I felt bad for the customer that kept repeating her order so many times bc she was speaking to her in Spanish like WTH!!! I like the mangonada but for $9 it could be better if it's worth paying that price for more mangoes n' the filling needs to be full as well.

I decided to have a couple Tacos from this Taqueria that I've noticed since I've been going to dialysis at DavIta. It wasn't a Taqueria when they first opened as I recall. And one day after my treatment I noticed they have a Taqueria sign on their roof. For several years now and I knew I had to try their food someday and today was the day. I ordered 1 Lengua and 1 Al Pastor Tacos. IMO, nothing special about their food. I was really hoping their Al Pastor Taco would be really good but I was wrong. I've been looking for a good Al Pastor meat to have the depth of flavor like this one Taqueria in San Diego called Armando's. Armando's is my comparing Al Pastor. I recall Armando's had balanced and well seasoned Al Pastor with hint of pineapple for sweetness and tenderizing the Pork. I haven't found anywhere in NorCal that compares nearly close to Armando's! What I do like about this taqueria is the nice size chunks of meat and they're not shy filling the tacos. Their Lengua was tender but lacked seasoning. I'll be back to try their Carne Asada and Pollo Asado.

I got charged a Large and they gave me a Small. When asked I was told they normally make it like this, which is odd because it's never been like that in the past. Either the employee is lazy, they wanted to cheat me OR they changed the way they make their mangonada and charge people Large prices for Small amount. Either way I'm VERY unsatisfied and do not recommend this place.

This experience was delightful. I enjoyed the strawberries and cream ice cream bar, nachos, and cheese tamales. They have a variety of ice cream flavors and aqua frescas. Great prices and such friendly people. Also if you check in on Yelp you get a free scoop of ice cream.

Really delicious, but quite expensive this is my large mangonada. Not worth the $10. I'll have to look for another place.

Great selection of treats and ice cream flavors! They have all kids! Tequila, Gansito, Arroz con leche and ube just ti mention a few. The girls servicing were friendly and nice. I would stop by again today if I'm in the area :)

I take my client to get her nails done next door. I've always parked in front of this place but never bothered to go inside and the one day that I did go inside I've had the best mango ever!!! They take cash only! It's so good! My second time I came inside I wanted to try something else! Since I don't speak Spanish I opted into a little ad near the register where the lady had me try a sample of the drink before I ordered a medium size. She had saved my life. The flavor wasn't my type but her assumption was right. It wasn't my type of drink. I'm very thankful of her service but I ordered mango again! What I mean by that -- mango on a stick w/ spice! So good!!!

My wife loves coming to this place for their mangonadas. But it is supper disappointing when you check what time they close (9pm) and arrive at 7:30 and the lights are off. This has been about the 3rd time we have gone around 7:30 on our way back home from work and they are closed. If you guys close at 7 or whatever time you guys close. No problem. However, it's a huge inconvenience when you can't update your outside sign or online time to reflect properly.

I've only been here once and all I have to say is WOW! I was greeted immediately in Spanish, which I don't mind. The changonada was EXACTLY what I was looking for. It's very comparable to the mangonedas I get at Snacks in San Mateo. Thank you for being so nice and for putting mango sorbet/frozen mango ice cream in your changonadas!! I love you.

Always short staffed on the weekend. This is prime money making days! At least two people please!!! The poor girl was going everything!

This was my first time going here with a friend. They have a lot of Mexican goodies/cravings. My friend and I ended up sharing!! The price is reaLly affordable. I definitely want to come back with my husband and try some more yummy Mexicans snacks/desserts!

Although its not like other places I have gone to I have to say it comes pretty close. The service was amazingly fast and friendly. It is also kept quite clean. The Mango I had was very fresh. Only draw back is that it only takes cash :'( but other than that I will be coming back to try some of the other items on the menu.

This place is the Bees Knees. If you are looking for a little touch of Mexico, you have got to try this place. They offer all kinds of juices, Changoneadas (my favorite so far), raspados (shaved ice) of any flavor and much more. I'm so great to have found this dime. Love it.

Our first time here but not our last! So many options definitely something for everyone in your group. They forgot an item from our order and were very apologetic and also offered us a free ice cream. Everything was so good the little extra waiting time was no big deal at all. Very friendly staff! If I could give more than 5stars I would !

Too bad we have to give stars. They're time advertisement both online and in person is wrong. Their sign stated 8:30 pm and online it states 9:00 pm. My family and I typically go to this place and order a good amount. We're typical clients and tend to go at least once a week or once every other week. Today when we arrived I was told the store was closed but it depended on what I wanted. I told the young woman I wanted some tostilocos and she asked me to wait while She went inside to ask the woman in the back if they could make them. She comes back and says no we can't do that. So I ask what they were willing to make and she says only ice cream. I look at the time and it's only 8:00 pm. Their sign states 8:30 pm and their online advertisement states they close at 9:00 pm. So I proceed to point this out to the young woman and she says, "well we forgot to change the sign". I'm completely baffled by the whole thing since their time advertisement is completely false. Don't get me started on how rude this young girl was. She was texting her manager as I proceeded to ask if I could speak to the manager and she ends the conversation with "well my manager doesn't care either". Que servicio tan más malo! Ni se porque Yelp te hace darles estrellas. Solo engañado a la gente y tratándolos de lo peor. Yo llegue al local a las 8:00. La muchacha me dijo que cambiaron sus horarios pero afuera tenían una cartulina que decía que cerraban a las 8:30. En Google si buscas este local dice que están abiertos asta las 9:00. Los anuncios de este local son falsos. Y no fuera mucho ni por que estaban cerrados era de cómo se comportó la señorita con migo. Ella fue increíblemente ruda y me hablo de lo peor. Yo ni en un momento le falte el respeto. Le pedi hablar con su manager y solo me dije "ah pues ni a ella le importa".

First impression when I walked thru the door: CLEANLINESS. Brought my mom with me 2 days ago, this was our first visit. It has a strong smell of Fabuloso but not extreme that you wanna gag. Brownie points in my mom's eyes lol Had a hard time deciding while looking at their menu up top with pictures.. My mom is a big fan of mangoneadas, she thinks the little stand at the mall is the best one in town! She soon realized not & I'm pretty sure she changed her mind We decided on a mango loco instead since I was craving fruit. GOOD CHOICE! The lady cut the fruit fresh; you can actually see what's going on behind the counter window. Slices of jicama, cucumbers, melon, watermelon & an orange on top for looks (: mixed with Tajin & chamoy with little tamarind candy pieces. We ordered one to sit and enjoy, another to go! Definitely worth going back & trying what else they have FOREWARNED: their location is actually one of the worst in town. They have a nice sign where you can find them, right off the street but they're next to other businesses & the parking in front is VERY limited. They have spots in the back but for 2 women around 8pm, it's not ideal

Stopped by yesterday, I had a craving for some fruit! I had seen this place a few times and finally decided to stop by. I don't regret it for one bit! The place is clean and the employees were very friendly. The fruit was amazing and the prices were great! I will definitely be stopping by again when I am in the area.

Their fruit is super dry. Wouldn't recommend. Seems like they hardly get any clients thats why their fruit is old and saggy by the time they sell something. Would not recommend at all.

I came here with my family and we order 4 different items . We were very pleased with our service and also our food ! My daughter got chocolate chip ice cream and she loved it .The portions here are big and worth every penny ! If your looking for a delicious treat, this is the place to go ! We will be coming back very soon ! Especially in the summer ! They have the best in Fairfield and I've been to plenty of places that serve the same items .

I came here over the weekend with my brother and mom and I must say their Mangonadas are super yummy!!! A little pricy but if you're coming here once in a while it's a great spot! I went around 4pm and they were not busy at all and the ladies were super nice! The lady that helped us told us about the new flavor Ube they had and let us try it even though my brother was the only one getting a banana split. The only critique I have is add more Tajin to the Mangonadas

I love this place. We come here often bc they make most of their ice creams here. Most are mexican flavors. They can adjust any menu for tou as well. The ladies are so nice and patient. If your curious about any glavor just ask and theyll give you a sample. The owner is a real nice person. Gave us a plate of fruit and waters today when we cam in for just ice cream. Not the first time though. Always hooks it up when were not familiar with something. Theyre always adding things to their menu as well.

I love their tejuino, it's not overly thick. The Changonada is really tasty. The place is very clean. I've tried other Mexican juice bars and this one is better than the ones in Fairfield.

Had the mangonada from here. Sorry to say all it had was mango puree ice cream and tamarind syrup. There were barely any fresh mango pieces, just some at the top for garnishing. The place was super clean which is the reason for the one star. La Colorina in Vacaville has an amazing mangonada with the sweetest and biggest fresh mango chunks, came here because it had closed by the time I got there. Not recommended for mangonada!

Had the mango and fruits in the cup, ice cream chongos yummm, it was all hands down delicious, especially in a hot day these treats not only bring some mild heat because of the chamoy but also refreshing and fruit is sweet and delicious. This will be my go to joint in the summer when im craving fresh fruits with a twist!

We were in town waiting for family to arrive and we decided to grab a snack to kill some time. We had two options, this place or a frozen yogurt place. We decided to stick to our roots- lol. My husband and toddler decided to order the Pepinos A Michelados. Basicallyits hollowed out cucumber stuffed with peanuts and lime juice and lots of chile. All on a bed of chicharrones, chips, and cueritos. Can you say YUM??? Anyway, my two year old loved the cueritos covered in Tapatio. I totally enjoyed the whole thing. Would definitely go back. Only down fall? It was super hot that day and there is no AC. Other than that, it's all good!!

This place is over priced even and the Mangonada wasn't good. You better off buying one from a vendor located in a residential area. I don't recommend this place. By the way no AC inside very hot inside this business.

I came here when it first opened and they took for everrrrr.. I decided to come again and they took so long that people where living because we had been waiting for over 15 min ... And the ladies who are preparing the snacks are also working the register and only rinse their hand and use no soap after touching money !

me and my boyfriend love eating here but the service is so bad we are no longer eating from here they always mess up our order or forget to put an item in our bag when we already paid for it and I had to waste my gas and drive all the way over there just to get stuff they forgot, this girl who works there tried to make me feel dumb because she didn't know I was Mexican , never going back here again.

You need to try this place! It's a hidden gem. The Sandia Botanera is a huge fruit bowl that they make fresh in front of you. The mango drink is also so good and leaves you wanting more. You won't be disappointed.

This place is awesome they have great customer service !! Very friendly and I love their tostilocos they are bomb. They make you feel so comfortable on trying to decide what you want to get they offer samples and from the moment you walk in they great you and you could feel the positive vibe I love it !!
