Taqueria La Mejor

This address houses a Mexican restaurant and a small supermarket together. I didn't eat at the restaurant, but I really like this small supermarket and enjoy shopping there. I can find many Asian foods and vegetables, such as taro, cilantro, exceptionally sweet sweet potatoes, and very fresh pork with the skin on, as well as whole fish. The staff here are very friendly and provide excellent service. I highly recommend this supermarket.

The tripe tacos were absolutely disgusting some of the worst I’ve eaten! They didn’t clean their tripe before cooking and it tasted like it! The waiter was attentive just new. Floors were fairly dirty.

Never get our order right the last 3 times, its not hard, its a beef (hamburger)burrito. Lol

The staff was very nice. They did their best to make sure I didn't feel like a stranger, even though it was my first time going there. I even got to enjoy a nice beer with my meal. All in all, a wonderful experience.

Great steak tacos that come with a ton of meat. The service is friendly and the vibes are good here. Plenty of futbol on the tv too!

I came in for the 3rd time and still had terrible service. When I ordered my strawberry margarita, my waitress told me they didn't have strawberry at the moment . I was ok and said a regular on the rocks was fine, she asked me 3 times what kind I wanted and I had to repeat myself. When I received my drink there was an excessive amount of salt in the drink and around the rim. I downed the drink even though I didn't enjoy it . So I asked for a beer and waited for her to come back to recieve my order; I waited 20 min for her! She was eating! Also I assumed her significant other was there talking to her because she was talking to him as well. When I did order my food ,she made it to go for some reason, She pointed out on the counter and said you're food is ready. I said can I get the check and could she break a 20 for me. She gave me 2-10$ trying to tip herself 10$. I won't be coming back . Stay away from this place .

It’s slightly difficult to communicate if you don’t speak Spanish but the food was delicious and I would go again!

Literally so good I almost died. I don't know how I've lived in Jackson County for so long and had not stopped in here but y'all... 🫠. I had bariatric surgery 5yrs ago and I pushed that tiny gremlin tummy to the limit eating enchiladas. IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST DANG THINGS I HAVE EVER EATEN! And their homemade salsa 👀 I KNOW you all better not be sleeping on that! It's the BEST tasting salsa I have had in this county hands down. I'm not sure I can even go back, I'll probably rupture my stomach... But it may be worth it 👉👈. Props to my husband for recommending we go it is 🔥, affordable, the service we had was 🤌 just impeccable, and it wasn't even busy! I door dash and let me tell you, everywhere in Seymour was PACKED. You want delicious mouth watering food baby Mexican? STOP IN YOU WILL HAVE NEGATIVE INFINITY REGRETS! (Unless you wish you didn't have a tiny gremlin tummy like me)
