The 12 Best Restaurants In Compton - Los Angeles - The Infatuation
"Taqueria El Poblano Estilo Tijuana is a small taco spot that serves our favorite carne asada taco in the neighborhood. Each order comes on a handmade corn tortilla rolled into a cone filled with a generous serving of beautifully charred beef, spicy green salsa, and a dollop of guacamole. These very special tacos are the reason you might have to stand in line for 30 minutes or more, even on weeknights. Other very good things here include giant quesadillas, crispy mulitas, and gooey vampiros that are all served on the same handmade corn tortillas you get with the tacos." - nikko duren, sylvio martins
We had pastor and asada tacos which were pretty good for the price. Lots of flavor but still could use more. Salsa was decent. Asada was a little dry so needed the salsa. They also gave a good amount of meat in each taco.

Excellent street tacos!!! We got them take out. I got the lengua. Absolutely fabulous, lots of meat! We also got a "quesadilla" that didn't look like any quesadilla I've seen before. See my pic. It was also outstanding. Flavors were delightful and the meats were all cooked perfect.
The restaurant is very clean and simple. You don't come here for the atmosphere, you come for cheap and authentic Mexican food!

Small taqueria located in a small shopping plaza off N Tustin St with ample parking.
We came here for lunch and ordered a variety of tacos - chicken, carne asada, carnitas, and al pastor.
Service was OK, prices were reasonable, and most of the tacos tasted alright. Overall, OK but nothing wowing.

Small place, but food is great. Prices are reasonable for the type of food. Cemitas are very authentic, even included the papalo.

This is my favorite Taqueria, I will not go any where else. While I don't make it here as often as I would like since moving farther away It is still worth the drive when I am wanting a carne asade burrito. Carlos makes them the best and he is super kind.

Their food is good but their customer service sucks. They are ridiculous with the limit on the amount of tamales they allow you to buy. We are a family of 5 and they only would sell 4 tamales to us because they wanted to save some for their other customers that might or might not come in. Wtf!

This is a wonderful hidden gem for genuine Mexican food. They dont have a massive menu, but the prices are good and the food is delicious. I had 4 of the chicken tacos, and they were perfect. You could taste the fresh of the ingredients. If I want some cheap good tacos or burritos, then I will definitely come back here.
