Taqueria Los Chachalacos - Review - Hotel Zone - Cancun - The Infatuation
"Los Chacalacos should be your go-to spot for a quick taco lunch, since they offer a ton of options and they’re all delicious. Get the bistec, chorizo, or vegetarian gringas, and pair them all with an ice-cold Corona. They have different locations around Cancun, but if you’re looking for lunch with a view, visit the one in the Hotel Zone. It’s not a bad place to hang out for a bit, but you can also take them back to your hotel room and eat them in bed while you watch a minimum of two House Hunters episodes." - Barbara Gutiérrez
I always feel a little overwhelmed by the choice at this restaurant, but overall I can say that no matter which option you choose, you can hardly go wrong as everything is pretty delicious.
My personal highlights are the guacamole, the cheese & chorizo and also the quesadillas (although smaller than expected) are always included in my order. I can only recommend everyone to try the cocktails as well, as they are very tasty and affordable.
I also recommend ordering extra pico de gallo because it never goes wrong.
The churros as dessert were also yummy.
The staff are great and I personally love the atmosphere.
Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed the tacostras and the tacos de pastor. The tortilla soup wasn’t my favorite, and the nachos lacked flavor. The service was good. I didn’t like that we had to pay for parking despite dining at the restaurant. They only have one restroom, and it wasn’t very clean. I recommend going for the tacos, tortas, and tacostras.

Great food, good prices. I highly recommend the Tacos Al Pastor.
We're a little disappointed by the Molcajete, was a little skimpy but delicious & bubbling hot. The GINORMOUS Piña Colada was yummy . Be adventurous, try the variety of salsas offered on the table and hold onto your hat 😂 this is a definite good place to go in the hotel district and it's open late night !

Wow, these tacos are amazing—you’re in for a treat! Just a heads-up, you’ll be eating them with your hands, which is totally how it’s done in Mexico. The service is spot-on, but there’s no AC, just like I mentioned. They’ll even show you the ropes on how to eat them if you’re not sure what to do.

Yummy tacos, price reflects the area and service is okay. The tacos and sauce/salsa options are killer here. Try it out, its right on the strip where all of the tourist traps are.

Really good typical Mexican food.
I enjoyed every dish I had so far here. As seen on the picture: Costras de costilla, Chicharrón, Taco de pastor, Alambres de acero, and la Güerita. To drink I always order fresh lime juice without sugar. Delicious!

It was my first evening in Mexico and we go there for eating. So, it was also my first real Mexican food, which I ever had in Mexico. It was so tasty. The place is like fast food restaurant, but it is very well. The price for the food is very good. I can recommend to go to there to have a quick and tasty meal.
