Yelp
The way I found this place was a little random. I was scrolling through Reddit when a thread about the best Tres Leches in Atlanta caught my eye. Taqueria Los Hermanos was the top pick, so I had to see for myself. The first time I had Tres Leches was in Guanajuato, Mexico, so my standards are high.
When I got there, I was hungry, so I decided to dine in. Parking was a breeze, which was a nice surprise. You won't believe me when I say the whole experience--from seating to payment--took 30 minutes, and it was flawless.
I went on a Saturday afternoon and was seated right away, no reservation needed. The place was busy, so I wouldn't risk that next time. My drink order was taken quickly, and they brought out chips and salsa. My server, Carolina B, was an absolute gem. I don't usually go crazy over chips and salsa, but this batch was too good to ignore. I finished every bite.
The only thing I'd skip is the iced tea. At $4, I expected something better, but it tasted like sweet water. Lesson learned--just get water. For my meal, I ordered the Mariscos Enchilada after spotting it on Yelp, and Carolina mentioned I could swap the salad for refried beans. Best decision ever.
The food came out fast, piping hot, and packed with flavor. I didn't just eat it--I inhaled it. Then came the Tres Leches. I hesitated when I saw the chocolate drizzle because I'm a traditionalist, but it turned out to be incredible. The Redditors got it right.
The bill was under $30, and checkout was quick. They also had someone bussing tables regularly, which I appreciated because I can't stand clutter when I'm eating. Everything about this visit was top-tier. I'm thrilled to add another spot to my short list.
