This place is incredible. Being from Miami it’s been so hard finding good hispanic food. We’ve tried a lot of the Mexican places around here and this place is by far the best. The tacos are insane and the flavor on all the meat is great. Plus they give you huge portions. This is one of the only spots in the valley that’s affordable and still feels really high-quality. The only thing I wish they had was arroz y frijoles.

Wow, absolutely delicious, raised on Mexican food this place is legit! Flavors are spot on, and perfect portion sizes, and free salsa!! I could drink a gallon of the green salsa but I'm sure I'd regret it 😂 stop by, you won't regret it!

I spent a fair amount of time in Texas as a young adult and while there, I developed a healthy love of Mexican food, specifically tacos. Authentic tacos. I live in NY where authentic tacos are hard to find, and haven’t found anything like what I enjoy when I visit Texas. I saw the reviews and photos for this place and it helped that the price is low compared to most restaurants in Avon/Vail. I ordered Pastor and Asada tacos, as they are usually my favorite. My Husband got a burrito, my Son a quesadilla, and my Daughter had Asada as well. Everyone truly loved their meals. They were so fresh! There are a few tables inside, but this is counter service, not a sit-down. The four of us spent less than $50 for our meal, and it was fantastic.

This is the best mexican food ive found in the mountains. Tiny little spot with 5 tables, but take out orders are a constant. Trust me, this food is incredible. Bursting with flavor, quality ingredients, and feels authentic. A must try 👌

This tiny taqueria had the best pork burrito and chicken quesodilla we've ever had. Prices were reflective of the area. The horchata was really good, too. Definitely coming back.

Easily the best spot for tacos and burritos. Ive tried a couple spots, and being from out of town i look for that real authentic flavor. Super easy to look over because its small, i recommend calling in your order because they're SO delicious that sometimes it's packed out with hungry patrons. The turnaround time for orders is quick and it's always made fresh! The Tres Leches is so so so good, one piece is big enough for me and my partner to half it. It's so reasonably priced. My favorite spot. I haven't tried everything on the menu yet but believe i WILL. The people working this place are so kind and doing the lords work by giving us the flavor and quality that i know everyone is looking for.

Amazing food for super cheap prices. Great steak and pastor tacos! Would recommend going! Small building with very little seating, but the tacos are worth standing.

The Barbacoa tacos are the best I've ever had! Not fatty like other barbacoa I've had in the valley! Reasonable priced! Call ahead to beat the line out the door!

This rat hole has like 4 or 5 tables with a line out the door...why? At $6.50 a taco times 2 with no sides, so $13 What is the rave about? I can't understand why this place has a 4.6 rating when I went to Agave up the road and got THREE carne asada tacos, with rice and beans and chips and salsa at my table while I waited, all for $15. I highly DO NOT recommend this place. Don't fall for the trap like I did, just because it was right off the highway. And it has a 4.6 star rating. What a joke.

It was so great to find authentic, quality, tasty Mexican flavor!! By that I mean Baja flavors.. these guys are killin' it!! The service was more than fine. The ambience was great for a "hole in the wall" vibe. They had four or five tables at most. But this place was LEGIT! We all had the street tacos with Carne Asada. So freakin' phenomenal! The salsa were on point! I felt like we were back in Baja California. While still enjoying the beauty of the mountains of Colorado. It's a win-win for sure! We asked the guy working that day with their name meant and the answer they gave us didn't make sense. I think they were trying to be nice. I don't care what the name means. The food is RIDICULOUSLY GOOD!

No critiques or comments - This place is awesome. The tacos were just how I like with generous servings of perfectly done pastor. Service was excellent and food was even better. The salsas are divine and the horchata was exactly what I was looking for. Come here!

Omg. Love this place so much. They have some of the best tacos!! I got 2 steak and 2 barbacoa. Between the two meats, I really enjoyed the barbacoa the most. So juicy and tender. The steak was good too, but I just prefer the texture of the barbacoa more. 2 tacos were really filling for me, but I was thrilled to take leftovers home because I looked forward to eating them again lol! They have the sauces right by the front door that you can scoop out onto your plate or into the small containers provided. There were two different ones, but I always go for the classic green sauce. We also got a strawberry agua Fresca that was REFRESHING and sweet. The drink is actually so good, like you can tell it's fresh and they're not overloading it with sugar. It had the perfect amount of sweetness to it. This small spot is hidden in the corner, but it's an absolute gem. The parking lot is kind of tight, but there is usually more than enough space. Super friendly and fantastic service. Prices are fair for the great quality of food. I can tell they have regulars that frequently come to eat here. I wish I lived here so I could be one of them!!

I came here on a Saturday around noon and this place was popping! All the tables in the restaurant were completely full and there was a line almost out the door. Once it was my turn I ordered 4 tacos: 2 pollo, 2 asada. One thing that I wish was that there were more side options. All I saw for a side on the menu was fries. I got my food to go since it was so full inside. The guy working the cash register was very nice too. Price wise this place is a steal, especially for the area that it is in. I got the 4 tacos for $12. My tacos were very good! Not the best, but I still really enjoyed them. I liked the green sauce on them that they have near the exit. I'm glad I decided to check this place out while on my trip in Vail.

Best restaurant in the mountains! We had both the barbacoa tacos and Al pastor. They are both excellent. We actually ate here twice because it was so good. I recommend the horchata as well. It's not too sweet and the cinnamon is perfect. I like to call it Cinnamon Toast Crunch milk. Nom nom.

Every time we come here, it gets better and better. The flavors are on point and the salsa is Bam! They're always polite and quick.

Hands down best taco in Colorado. I would bathe in the drippings of These tacos, Seriously. I could eat anything on this menu everyday for the rest of my life and die happy. You go guys! Service was great and the ambiance is authentic.

So gooood!!! Ordered an Al Pastor torta to go and it was amazing!!! The best Al Pastor tarta Ive ever had! This place is hidden in a little corner of a small shopping plaza. They have burritos, tacos, tortas, aguas frescas and more. They were super nice and were handling the busy rush so perfectly! We did wait for about 30min. So if you're in a rush, you might want to order ahead.

I have been reading about this place for years when I visited Avon, but it closes at 5, so I usually missed going by a few minutes. This time I went for lunch. The place was full of customers and they have a brisk take out business as well, so there was a brief wait for my food. The wait was so worth it! Absolutely the best street tacos I've ever had. I had the shredded pork loin, the barbacoa, and the tacos el pastor were amazing!!!! I will definitely be back again the next time I come to Avon.

We didn't feel like dinning out tonight, so Mexican take out was a perfect choice. Found Taqueria No Se Hagan Bolas on Yelp with great reviews, and was excited perusing their photos. When I arrived, the place looked like a bank, plexiglass boundary protected the staff and the kitchen from COVID exposure. They even installed a microphone and speaker system as communication aid. I ordered the Menudo and Asada Burrito. I asked for extra meat and cheese, but when I got to my villa and started eating the burrito, contrary to the restaurant name, things got mixed up. It didn't feel like it had the extra steak and found no cheese inside. It also wasn't the biggest burrito I've had, but it was very flavorful and the sauce was a great addition. I did not taste the menudo, so I can't comment on it. Ironically, things did get a bit mixed up, but not a big deal. I plan on returning anyways.

We both got the burrito and it was a LOT of food. We were the only people there who did not speak Spanish....But it was cool. Very small area for eating in. There were lots of families and people waiting in line to order and for take out. Clearly this is a very favorite place for those "in the know". Yes it was a bit hard to find but we got there. Service was fast and efficient. Food was excellent quality.

These street tacos were EXCELLENT. You order by protein, and they already come with predetermined toppings. However, salsa does not come on top. You have to pour your preferred salsas at the register like you would condiments at a burger joint. The salsas were incredible. I tried two of them, a green and a red (the hottest) and they were amazing. The green included the creaminess of avocado along with the tomatillo, and the red was fiery... just the way I like it!

The best chicken burrito I have ever had. Move over Chipotle and Qdoba. Better stop by and take a few lessons from this little place. Authentic, delicious and a really nice crew of people. Try it! You won't be sorry.

Always enjoy coming here. Got the tortas con asada this time and was very good. Even got fries too. Red salsa was ok-Tasted too smoky flavor.

This small hole in the wall is delish, and offers great street tacos. My husband had a burrito which was equally as delish and full of flavor! Also, support local! We came here for a to go order. They usually offer dine in, but with Covid going on, they've switched to take out only. If you like street tacos and burritos, come here. The flavors of all my tacos were so good and the salsa they serve up with them are yummy. You also get a side of pico with them. The green one is more mild and the red has an awesome kick. The burrito was served up with them as well with a side of jalapeños. The menu is straight forward. Tacos, burritos, tortas, hamburgers, fries, drinks. Not sure if it was because of Covid, but only bottled sodas were being served up. Food took less than 10 minutes to get and made it safely to our next destination. The place is clean and and they offer sanitizer at the door. They're taking Covid precautions seriously, so if you're worried about that, they're safe.

i don't even know what to say I'm blown away, great pricing, and the best Mexican food I've ever had in my life, I'm being so serious you need to come here anytime you want some Mexican food, the service is amazing and they made our food fresh in the back in around 8 minutes

We get a meal here each time we visit Avon, I'm here to echo everything said in the 5-star reviews. Today I ordered the burrito el pastor, I loved it.... great food. Come with the option to carry out and take your food somewhere else to enjoy, if the few tables are occupied. Estupendo!

Hands down the best tacos in the Vail valley. They have incredibly good food, everything on their menu is great. They have a lot of great dishes that you would never find like beef cheek. Just a wonderful small taqueria that serves honestly good food.

This place is excellent, great food and even better service. Come in, order some food at the counter and eat-in or take-out. They have excellent salsa to accompany your tacos, burrito, torta, etc. I will certainly be back again for the pork torta mixta, awesome tasting and filling. Very friendly restaurant, that knows how to cook. Be sure to tip (don't be that person that doesn't tip since it's counter service).

Amazing! My chicken quesadillas were savory and delicious. Husband had a burrito, he loved the chipotle mayo inside. No chips but the fries with queso were a very guilty treat.

You know this place is good and is churning some great eats when it's snowing and there's a line outside the door. The inside is very small with only a handful of tables that are on a first come basis. For the most part you don't have to fight for a table. People were pretty respectful and followed in order as who was next in line to sit after ordering. I only saw one group of people that came in who disregarded this and just sat at a table that should have been for another party. This is a great place if you're on a time crunch or have a short lunch hour. The time it took to order and get my food was under 10 minutes.

We passed this place on our first drive by, it is tucked in the corner behind the mattress store. Tacos are 2 for $4.20! Carne and pollo were yummy! Four different sauces - all good, all have a kick :)

Who looks for menudo in Avon? Me! Well I found this place before this trip. So first things first was to walk to this place from the Westin. At 2pm they were out! I was told that they open at 9:30 am and half hour after its sold out! Wow! It must be that good! Everybody seem to agree if you read the reviews. I tried their second best item. The Torta . Wow! The pork marinate was so good it was hard to put down. The other item was the Chicken Burrito dry. I still haven't gotten used to the smothered burrito. This was really good as well. Looks like a place to stop for cheap and fast eats in Avon. One thing to note: it's next to a consignment store. We were on foot and still missed it. It's tucked away in the crux of an L shaped building. Small space and you walk in; the counter to your left is where you place your order. They will call your order when it's ready. So pay attention. Super casual. Worth the visit. Really! Tip: the menudo gets served on Saturday and Sunday's only. $9.97.

This place offers incredibly flavorful food, made fresh and fast. They're not trying to be fancy, so be prepared for a dive atmosphere and very limited seating. We intended on dining inside but all the tables were taken and we simply ate in the car. We ended up driving a short distance and parking facing the mountains to eat, and it wound up being better in the end. I ordered a quesadilla con pollo (chicken) for my daughter and my husband and I ordered one each of the tacos in barbacoa (beef cheek), pollo, and asada (steak). Each was delicious, hot, and flavorful, topped with fresh quac, onions, and cilantro, garnished with lime wedges. Each was good and we couldn't decide on a favorite!

Stumbled upon this local Mexican place on our way to Denver. We are from San Diego, where Mexican food is pretty authentic, and so I wasn't expecting much here....but this place is so good! Carne and pollo were delicious and both the red and green salsas were amazing! Highly recommend.

Fantastic tacos Al pastor and delicious tortas. Our favorite is the alacrana burger, it's huge and so yummy, definitely an amazing mexicana restaurant
