Personally and being honest one of the best places to get REAL TACOS Mexican style…. I fell in love with Tacos de tripa (handmade tortillas) very tasty sauces and nopales, it was so good! Reasonable prices even for tacos came bigger than the regular size, nice customer service. They don’t have too much space so I recommend it take outs specially on weekends. Huge variety of dishes…. Carnitas tacos and Campechanos both are delicious, pancita soup (Menudo) same thing just exquisite. I hope you can try Taqueria Puebla…. I’m pretty sure you won’t be disappointed.

I can't help but keep coming back to Taqueria Puebla, a true HIDDEN GEM that never disappoints. My latest visit had me savoring the irresistible Gorditadas Campechano (a delightful blend of steak and pork). The crispy tortilla shell was perfect - so crunchy! They really know how to balance everything. The gorditas were full and the mix of steak and pork was just right. What made it amazing was the cheesy goodness. It wasn't just a little cheese - it was a lot! It made every bite so rich and yummy. And when you add the spicy red sauce, it kicks it up a notch. The mix of flavors was just perfect. One thing that impressed me this time was the quick service. I called in my order, and to my surprise, it was ready by the time I got there just 15 minutes later. Taqueria Puebla not only delivers delicious food but also knows how to make it convenient. Taqueria Puebla is the place for top-notch gorditas. They really know how to make them tasty. If you love gorditas, you HAVE to check this place out. It's my favorite spot, and I can't get enough!

Definitely will be revisiting this location to try more of their entrees. I decided to get pupusas, and a steak & cheese as a backup plan. The cheese steak & fries was good, but the pupusas was absolutely delicious & not dried out like the ones 7-11 has from time to time.

Tacos are really good price/quality. They were fresh. Friendly staff, I would definitely come back!

Delicious and huge tacos. The tacos were excellent. We tried the carnitas and pastor. They were full of meat and a great value at 3.50 each. They accompanying salsa, cucumber, radish and onions we're also great. They were ready quickly and all the staff was wearing masks. We will be back for sure.

Got myself 3 to-go tacos. They are $4.99 each, but as other have said, they're quite filling and very tasty. I got a Lengua (Tongue), Al Pastor (Marinated Pork), and Tripas (Chitlins), and all were pretty good. This was my second time eating from here, but the first time I dined in, and this time, it was to go. Took about 15 minutes to drive home and start eating to they weren't as warm as I'd like but that's my fault. Will be back for more.

So far I have only ordered the chicken and steak tacos with birria consume, the food is good but can be a bit cold at times and feels like it was once refrigerated. The customer service is pretty solid as well, the only negative is that there are not many english speakers so you have to know exactly what you want while ordering.

I don't recommend the Cubana Torta. It tastes nasty. The meat was horrible. Their food was better before.

This is gonna sound crazy, but I usually come here for the pupusas. Have I tried the tacos? Not yet. They smell bomb.com. BUT, the pupusas are SOOOOO good from this location. I enjoy them better here than more places here in Riverdale.

If you want authentic homemade Mexican food, this a great place to go. Small little shop that offers a variety of different Mexican dishes. Personally my favorite dish to order is the gordita campechan. Comes with pork and steak. Pack full of flavor and with the hot sauce make it a 10/10. The tacos and pupusas are good as well but my MVP is the Gordita. Will definitely be back

Decided to try based on reviews. Small and vibrant place. We ordered birria and carnitas tacos. The meat is well seasoned and delicious. The tortillas are fresh. Tried the horchata, also good but a bit too sweet for me. Overall good experience

I was scared because this place is literally in a random shopping center but when I tell you DELICIOUS! The smell alone let's you know the dish is about to be amazing. I could smell all of the fresh ingredients used and the sauces were so bomb. These tacos were sooooooooo good I will definitely be back! Super authentic place.

This new taqueria in an old dated shopping strip is dark and unremarkable in appearance. However, they do make some decent, authentic cheese pupusas. I know, I'm boring. They have tacos, but not my go-to fish tacos. No enchiladas either (my second go-to Mexican meal). Pupusas are pretty much all the same to me. $2.00 is the most I'll pay for once since the La Preferida food truck on New Hampshire Ave left for the construction of yet another 7-11. The pupusa was good, but I've had better. The atmosphere is not inviting, so if I am visiting the post office next door, or Dollar Tree at the other end, I may again order to go. The cashier is behind a tall fortress like counter. I wonder if there is a safety reason for that.

Riverdale is a literal hidden gem! This area houses some of Maryland's best authentic tacos! This was my first time tasting the food from this location. Typically, I enjoy Sunday Funday with friends and food. So.. this place has a lot to try. Their tortas are HUGE. For about 10$ it is totally worth it because you'll have about two-three meals from that one torta. The seasoning on the tacos, tortas, and pupusas are bold but not too salty. As you can see, we tried at least 8 things off the menu. The carne asada taco was my favorite out or the barbacoa de res, barbacoa de pollo, lengua, etc. I would say to give this place a try for sure. The staff is nice and brings the food to your table. However cleanliness could be a little better.

Great tacos here! Very authentic and tasty meat. Carne Asada was juicy and delicious. Recommend coming here for your taco fix!

The food is fresh every order. I had tacos al pastor and a pork and cheese papusa. Delicious!!! So much flavor. The amount of meat in the tacos was awesome. Very happy with my meal, and I will be back!!!

Hole in the wall type place but with some very tasty food! I got the cuerito and chorizo tacos and they were delicious! My wife got the gorditas and they were very good as well! Large portions of really good food, definitely recommended!

The best kind of hole in the wall place. BEST TACOS I've had in the DC area!!! And I've eaten a lot of tacos and this place is #1 in the DMV. It's in a strip mall adjacent to a US post office, Dollar Tree and car parts place with a huge parking lot, only a few tables inside. Upon entering I ordered from a cashier behind a counter. I went for lunch, just a grab & go last minute decision & I'm so happy I did. I ordered from the fading menu on the wall, 4 tacos (pastor, chorizo, carne asada, pollo asada)... thought they'd be $3.50 each but upon paying learned they were $5 each. I didn't care in the end because they were bigger & fuller of yummy meat than any other taco I've had in the area. They came with lime wedges, sliced radishes, 2 grilled green onions, sliced cucumbers, lots of finely diced white onion & a sprinkle of cilantro, 3 different types of salsa (2 green, 1 red, all super flavorful). I could only eat 2 of the 4 tacos because I was full so my husband got to eat the other 2 when I got home & he loved them too. Go to this place & you'll feel like you're eating tacos from the San Diego border area near Tijuana or Mexico City. FIVE STAR TERRIFIC!

I love it when I find these hidden gems! I ordered the Sopa de Pancitas, Tripe Soup. It's soooo freaking delicious!!!! I usually do not buy this type of soup, because my grandmother makes it best. However, I have to say that this is a close second. The staff is nice and restaurant is clean. Good lunch spot

Excellent food here. I've had the tacos and quesadillas, both eat-in and take-out, and enjoyed them very much. The menu is similar to other taquerias in the area (Kenilworth Ave is ground zero for great tacos), with huarachas, soups, sandwiches and similar fare. Prices are good, portions VERY generous, and the staff is friendly. Can't go wrong here. I'll be going back often.
