Chips were on the verge of going stale. The TVs displaying the menu were not working.. which made the ordering process much longer then it should have been. The ladies working the place were very pretty and nice and polite and helpful. The food was pretty decent too. Salsa was spicy as it should be. If I'm in the area again will I stop by for round two? As of now probably not. I think I will try a diff place next time.

My husband and I ordered tacos to go and it took about 15-20 to get our food (this place is busy). The tacos are a good size, but the hot sauce is not hot. The barbacoa tastes plain, the azada was good and I did not get to try the pastor because I got full hahaha. Next time I'm in the town I'm going to try something else definitely coming back again.

I had a very large expensive order with five special order burritos and quesabirria tacos. This was delivered with Uber and I had to pay the Uber fee and tip the driver. The food arrives the burritos are sloppily and very loosely wrapped and none of them are marked so we don't know who gets what. The quesabirria tacos was smashed. I count the burritos there was only four. But I paid for 5. I had to waste gas to drive our way over there which defeated the purpose of ordering Uber eats. I have an SUV with the V8 engine so this was not $0.25 worth of gas. They wanted to remake my burrito but I pointed out that my entire order would be cold. I had to get my money back it was such a waste of time.

I’m a regular here, most of the food is amazing and it’s close to my job so I can walk here to pick up food for the office. I never complain about the minor mistakes they make but today was supposed to be Nacho Fries Friday. The website says they cost $7.50 on Friday but instead I was charged $12.95 it would make sense to get a refund for the deference like I did last time but the staff argued that this was a recent change that happened yesterday yet they did not make the changes on the advertisement on the websites. This is not fair to the customer and not the proper way to resolve the problem. Watch out for false advertisement on the website and make sure to call ahead before ordering if you still choose to buy from here.

Great food, ordered two chicken and one carnitas super burrito. No complaints from anyone so I'll be coming back again next time I need to grab some food for the guys. The sauces were good also!

There is fierce competition in the Taco Game here in Oakland, and many different Genres. There are the super fresh places focusing on seafood, with tons of lime, cilantro, and amazing arrays of sauces. Then there are the Savory taco spots, that serve a more a meaty, salty cheesy. and fatty version, a kind of Mexican-American Hybrid comfort food, that is filling and yummy. Taqueria Reynoso is the latter, serving up overstuffed, triple meat and cheese, meat oil-fried tacos, of about ninety thousand calories each. Lol. This is not yuppie food this is working people's satisfying food Ala La Mexicana. Try the Barbacoa Dorados, and an Horchata, and I think you'll be hooked like i was. Now I gotta go back to the gym. Lol. Check it out! on Foothill, 2 blocks south of Fruitvale.

We hired Taqueria Reynoso to cater at a family dinner party for 30 people. They were on time, professional and the food was delicious. Their on site catering was a hit! They made tacos and pupusas for us and the package came with all the sides and salsas you could need. I really appreciated having them at the party and would highly recommend to anyone looking for mobile taquero services! Thanks Taqueria Reynoso!

Came in the other day. It's been a long 4 years since I came in here. My first experience food wise was great, customer service was horrible. 4 years later.. I hate to say.. same thing! The lady at the reg didn't greet us upon walking in, didn't give us a "I'll be with you in one second" nothing. She then asked us how she could help us. I ordered the steak and shrimp plate. My baby got a red sauce wet burrito. My steak and shrimp plate was great! They used arrachera steak (skirt steak) my favorite! It came with 5 prawns, rice, beans & side salad with guac! The steak was cooked well, juicy! Prawns weren't over cooked and flavorful no taste of the ocean lol. Rice and beans were authentic Mexican cuisine. The side salad was what to expect it was very good with guac as a dressing! Made me actually want a salad lol. My baby got a wet burrito. He meant to get green sauce but ordered red. It was what one expects in red sauce. Like a very tart type sauce.. I wasn't a fan. He didn't complain. He liked it! They have a salsa bar filled with a large variety which I loved! Only thing I didn't like was they give you these lil ziplock baggies to fill your salsa in but they don't have the zip close, it's the cheapest ones so we had to tie it to close, which was messy! ESP when we got home to open, we just made a hole at tip of bag. They had green and red salsas, jalapeño, even curtido! Which was great to see. My favorite had to be the cucumbers with lemon and Tajin!!!! I ate so many while waiting for my food. It is a small restaurant which they remodeled from the last time I came in. Menu is large and readable on a TV system. I'd definitely be back! Love to see the place still open and food very flavorful. Birria Tacos - MUST HAVE! Flavorful & juicy! Regular Tacos - Basic Steak & Shrimp Plate - must have, another flavorful and juicy dish! Wet burrito - recommend green sauce not red.

Love their handmade tortillas and the steak and shrimp plate was yummy. Also pupusas are pretty good. Not really a fan of the tacos dorados but everything was correct as ordered and fresh.

Let me preface by saying that I have tried this place multiple times - via different apps. Each time I've been let down by either the food quality or them not following instructions. I am ALLERGIC to sour cream. I always make sure to note "NO SOUR CREAM" on orders I make. Of course, they fail every time. Tonight, via "Uber eats" - they have FAILED AGAIN. I attached a picture. My receipt says "no sour cream", yet and still they put it on there. Not sure if it's a staff problem or whoever is processing orders may not be able to read. This was the last time I'll patronize this business. Do better please, because this is about the 8th time I've given you a chance and you have failed each time.

Uber order here but that shouldn't matter. Paid for #1 combo tacos w/ consume and the damn restaurant sends a hamburger with consume sauce. Now Uber won't refund and I'm eating a crap hamburger from a taco joint. If I wanted a hamburger, I'd go to In & Out, not a taqueria. Wendy's has better damn burgers.

First time here and I absolutely loved it! I bought a super burrito de al pastor and it was delicious! This is the best Taqueria in all Oakland hands down. The food is immaculate. Great quality and taste over all. I also recommend the tacos de asada which my cousin bought and smelled incredible. Everyone is was so friendly & welcoming, so i will definitely be back again.

The steak was flavorful and had those crispy edges I love. You could customize your choices right now to getting "light" ingredients. I love that so much because if there is a flaw in the Bay Area burrito, it is that there is way too much rice in them. Would(will) eat again

OH HELL NAH Ya boi is highkey appalled n dizzy writin this review b. can't tell if its cuz I'm upset that I wasted hella money or from food poisoning from this overcooked mystery meat in my burrito. Ordered a burrito n that s*** had negative flavor dun. The flavor transferred from my taste buds to that dry ass burnt ass tortilla fam. don't order from here. these mfs got me tight. how tf you mess up a taco. trust ya boi. Fr fr ong don't come here. word

I would probably have to try them again but I wasn't thrilled, considering it had limited meat selection and the tortillas for the tacos tasted store bought and too chewy. I forgot to ask if the taco came with salsa, so that didn't help that they were dry but the young lady helping me was very sweet.

Well I'm finally going to give you my honest opinions. I had to give this place a second tried from my first bad experienced. The first time they got my order wrong and the girl was very rude on the phone. I decided not to say Anything and wait it out. Here back at it again. Like ok Let me give this place another shot I'd ordered a super burrito for $16.00 and it look like a regular burrito I would pay off the street. When ordering online the option is very thin. I specifically had to note it that I'm highly allergic to guacamole and sour cream.! I'd also asked for no bean. I asked and paid extra for meat. So my burrito came in a sloppy rolls with guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo salsa, all on the side in a little small baggies. I want to laugh and cry at the same time Because this is my second Run with them. I hate it my food. Was sloppy My Horchata came in watery no flavor. So I'm assuming they got mad and decided to take my money and have me roll my own burrito. I would Not order from here ever again.

Tried this place out because they were referred to us to use as caters for my daughter's Quinceanera. The price was so good for their catering service had to make sure nothing was wrong with food. Since they would be making tacos that is what we ordered. My daughter took one bite and said "Oh yeah!!!! Book it!!!!". The taco were double layered tortillas with the edges crispy. The chicken, steak and pork was very flavorful. I didn't give it 5 stars because the Pina and Jamaica juices seemed watered down. My other daughter went with the loaded fries. She didn't care for the white cheese. She loved the thickness of the fries. Staff friendly and place clean. The chips and salsa bar was self served which we avoided due to Covid and people standing around it without masks. If we lived closer would definitely make this our go to for tacos.

Never knew this place existed but knowing is half the battle! Great selection in menu from tacos, burritos, tacos, nacho fries, burger and more. I had the birria tacos with cheese and crunchy. I guess they call it dorados tacos. I liked them, crispy and fried goodness. The regular tacos were tasty too, Plenty of seating inside and seating outside. Service was nice and quick.

Omg!!! My fiancé and I loved the tacos here so much we had Taqueria Reynoso cater our wedding. They were on time, professional, and I think the tacos were delicious. They almost stole the show. I highly recommend their catering. Gustavo was amazing. I can't wait to use them for our next party. Thank you Gustavo and your top notch taqueros and servers. You definitely went above and beyond out expectations.

the tacos here are delicious! they're what i'd consider authentic street tacos. you know the type with 2 corn tortillas, onions, cilantro, deliciously seasoned carne asada & and lime wedge. i wanted to try a new mexican restaurant that wasn't over the top like some of these places trying to reinvent the wheel lol. i found them through doordash, definitely worth checking out!

If you can order and eat in, do it and they can fix your order right away. Takeout tonight I ordered a bunch of quesa-birria tacos. None of them had queso. Then some of the tacos had a good amount of birria and some had half the amount of another, why so inconsistent?? Also ordered a super quesadilla that's supposed to come with lettuce guacamole and sour cream but was missing all three. The pupusa was dry and I couldn't find any filling inside. SMH. Three stars cuz the birria is actually really yummy (even without the cheese) and we also ordered a platillo that the eater enjoyed.

The food was good and fresh. There wasn't a long waiting time. Definitely have to come back again for that great customer service they were so helpful with their recommendations. It is one of the best places to sit down and eat with your family.

Since Grubhub was handing out $10 discounts, I decided to try out this place in East Oakland for lunch. I ordered the Enchiladas Platter with Chicken. Driver showed up early, with everything packed well. The food is good and tastes authentic. The Enchiladas were a little salty, but the rice and beans provided a nice balance. The portions and salad were small, but just right for a lunch. In general, I'd say this is a good deal for good food. I will order again.

Friendly service. Great food. Neighborhood parking available. Would like a top for my salsa to go. Right now you have to fill a small plastic bag with salsa. This is messy and no fun. There must be a better way for to go orders. Eating in is fine as there as small paper condiment cups to use. Would recommend. Check them out!

I am so thankful I live near this place and it's just a walk down the street. The foods good for the price. I drop in on Tuesday's for their $2 tacos. They do nacho fries Friday too which is a deal because they give good portions. They have self serve chips and salsa to accompany your meal. Their salsa bar has a lot of options which I appreciate because I always need extra. I've had them cater events and they always deliver. Cooked it right in front of us and gave us options of nachos, tacos and even quesadillas along with the rice and beans. There was plenty of meat and toppings that they left us with when they were set to leave.

This place is a mids factory. I got a carne asada and shrimp 3 salsa super burrito. They use way too much lime in the guacamole, the pico de gallo was not fresh. The carne asada was chewy and chopped really small, no char, no flavor. The 2 shrimps had no flavor either. The only flavor that stands out is the lime from the guacamole. Even the salsas are lackluster and flavorless. For $21, there are waaaay better options. I've had their tacos dorados and regular tacos before and they were aight but this was not it.

This place is a ripoff. Ordered a super burrito, looked like a regular burrito. No guac. Skip this spot.

Nope. Don't get the burrito. Don't do it. I think I ordered tacos too, they weren't impressive obviously cause I don't even remember. But I remember it being $$$ a wee bit higher than what I'm used to paying for tacos. But the burrito. Not even edible.

Absolutely annoyed as this was my favorite spot in the area. If you want a place that will keep you waiting while they fill everyone else's order (Big orders) and can't even get yours right after waiting over a half an hour... this is the place for you. Ordered a quesadilla and two tacos to go. You'd figure since they went out of their way to be sure everyone got what they ordered that your order should be fine. Shame on me. Once I got home, opened the bag and boom... tacos annnnd a burger and fries. WTF????!! If it wasn't enough that everyone else was fine with theirs and I waited much longer than I should have..... I'd actually have been a lil ok with that as annoying as it is. But to GET THE ORDER WRONG?!! That's a joke and speaks of a place that I won't be visiting anymore. Good on you if your experience was better but nothing worse than feeling like you are being shunned just to end up getting the wrong food you PAID FOR! Not to mention what I paid for was more $ than what I got. Btw, EVERYTHING was cold. Almost like it had been sitting for a bit while they were getting bigger orders ready. I could tell it was, based on them getting the big order out and then mine a minute later as it was just sitting on the counter. Pathetic and a bad business practice all around. Maybe I was given the burger cause I was the only white guy. SMDH. Gotta find a new spot.

Yelp lead me here. I was searching for some birria tacos and I found this secret gem. First time here, came here on a Sunday. I called to make sure they were actually open since some places have changed their hours due to COVID and sure enough they were open YAY I ordered some 2 quesabirria tacos to go and I had a beer as I waited for my food to be ready (no outdoor seating/take out only) Food was good, very authentic and super flavorful. I will for sure come back and try other items. -Street parking only, no private parking lot, parking can be hard to find.

We recently hired Taqueria Reynoso to cater our wedding, and they did such a great job! The food was delicious and fresh, and they served all 125 people in about an hour or so. Our point of contact was Gus, who worked with us from the initial quote all the way through the day-of, and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. He was so helpful and communicative, and made the whole process very smooth. Couldn't recommend them enough!

I got the Double Cheese Burger Fries & Drink Combo, Quesa-berries Combo, and Sour Cream on the side for takeout. The takeout service was simple, and the food arrived on time. It was delicious and authentic, with a unique sauce and cheese inside. The prices here seemed to be the most reasonable of the Mexican restaurants in the area, so I decided to give it a try! It's a good portion for the price. I'm excited to try the burrito as well.

I ordered through DoorDash and the food came fast I didn't get anything for myself but I got the nacho steak fries for my son and a super burrito it came with a small bag of tortilla chips the food looks good and smell delicious. My son said the food was " hella good" next time I'm gonna have to try it out for myself I ask my son if he can rate the food from 1 to 5 what would he rate it he gave it. 4

Came by during lunch hour and it was a little busy. I ordered papusa's (bean & cheese and pork). They were cooked to order, about 10 minute wait. They were very crispy - more than what the provided plastic utensils could handle. The salsa bar was open for public use, and had a slaw to pair with the papusas. Top off with some red and green salsas and you've got a great bite. For $3.50 each this was perfect for a lighter lunch than the burritos.

So, my boyfriend and I just moved into the area and wanted to check out some local Mexican food. Of course, I decided to yelp and came across Taqueria Reynosa. When we got here, I realized I'm kind of familiar with this area because I've gotten work done on my car somewhere close by. The area is not bad at all! There's a parking lot right across the street for the Walgreens and plenty of street parking. Anyway, once we walked in, I realized that they have a self serve chips and salsa area (YAY! BIG plus for me). My boyfriend decided on the red chicken enchilada plate, and I decided on 2 quesa birria tacos (or quesadillas?). BOMB! Best tacos I've ever had. The birria is made of beef, which was the most tender beef I've ever had. Seriously, just stop by and try it for yourself. My boyfriend says his chicken enchiladas were made perfectly. I personally can't wait to come back and try other options they had, and my boyfriend has already visited again and had an amazing experience with their super burrito. 5/5!!!

While I haven't visited the brick and mortar (yet), Taqueria Reynoso catered my wedding reception. Let me just say, they are AMAZING! With everything being provided from chips and guacamole to salsa to taco sides, the food was amazing. Also, I'm still dreaming about their quesadillas. I would HIGHLY recommend getting in touch if you're looking for someone to cater an event. It took so much stress off my day and I can't wait to host another party so I can work with them.

Thank you yelp friends for your honest reviews, it place is hella legit. I went here the other day with my coworker and we both ordered the barbacoa crispy tacos (WITH CHEESE) and loved it. It was greasy, flavorful and just what I was looking for. I also ordered the fiancé an al pastor burrito which he ate later that night and have it an 8 out of 10. I spoke to the cashier lady and she recommended a bunch of other things like the 3 color burrito, the pollo dish, sopas and the Tortas. So I definitely want to come back to try more dishes.

I just had food delivered from here. My order was totally wrong which made my salty as heck taste disgusting. I asked for everything except beans and rice. They left off the Guacamole and sour cream and a wet burrito. It was so dry , salty and I'm not even sure if there was chicken or some other dark meat in it. The fries weren't thoroughly cooked. I don't recommended anything other than to pass

Was in search for some bomb carne asada fries and the first place we wanted to try closed early so we found this one! It's a pretty small restaurant but they offer a lot of items on the menu! Cashier was super nice and let us know there was going to be a wait at night, I recommend calling in your order! The serving size was pretty big, I couldn't finish it all. I liked the flavor of the meat of the carne asada but felt like they didn't give enough meat compared to the size of the French fries. All the other toppings were really good and they don't put beans on their fries which is a personal preference of mine. I would definitely come here again for some carne asada fries!

This is the spot for authentic / delicious Mexican food! A little family owned business on a busy street located on the right hand side. This is my first time here and I am impressed. Ive ordered steak fries with guacamole on the side and my friend had ordered the three color burrito. Open salsa bar located on the right hand side as entering the restaurant. Pretty spacious with plenty of seatings on the inside. Horchata was refreshing. Not overwhelming with cinnamon like other places. It was just right for this warm weather. Steak fries was amazing! They use fresh tomatoes, white cheese, sour cream, and diced onions with juicy meat. Bomb dot com! 9$ for this greatness! Three colored burrito was off the hook with the mild, green sauce and the spicier red sauce. Everything was well cooked and made. 10$ for this bad boy!

This is my go-to taqueria especially since I'm always in the neighborhood. I typically come once a week and Francheska or James is usually there to take my order, and they are the ABSOLUTE sweetest! They may be young, but their work ethic & professionalism are better than older folks I've come across in other restaurants - and it is always easy to strike up a conversation with them each time I come in. Whenever I'm on my way to the restaurant, I secretly wish that either of them are working haha. Just remember that kindness goes a long way - & that goes both ways! So if you're a customer with a nasty atittude from the get-go, don't expect any server from any restaurant to bend over backwards for you. Francheska & James (& all the other newbies I've come across) - keep doing your thang & providing great service! Back to the food - I usually only order the tacos or super burritos, and they are always consistent. I've never found them to ever skimp out on the meat, so that's always good. Some days I want to minimize my carbs so I order a burrito with no rice & no tortilla, add lettuce - and they never make a fuss about it. I will say that if you're ordering tacos to-go, try to make sure your whole order is there before you leave the restaurant. I've been coming consistently for the past 2.5 years & there were two separate occasions where I was missing a taco (and yes, I check my receipts & I paid for this taco). Also my order has been shipped entirely once before. I assume this is just human error where the cook just misreads the order, so it was no biggie for me especially since this rarely happens. But just take note that if you've been waiting for more than 10 min, check with a server.

You're better off hiring someone else for your event. We booked for 4pm to 6pm. They were supposed to arrive at 330 to setup and prep. They did not show up until 5pm. Tacos were not ready until 530pm. They had no excuse or even apologized for being late. This delayed our schedule for everything we had set for the party. Our guests were hungry, food is the number one priority for any party. I'm very unhappy with their service. Zero stars, you're better off booking someone else. There's tons of other awesome taqueros in the Oakland area, we went with this one for the price but its too what they say in the Hispanic culture, LO BARATO SALE CARO.

One evening, I walk in as the only customer and make an order for 2 people. I see 2 chefs and a cashier. I wait patiently, as I see multiple Hispanic people come in, make orders like me, but get orders much faster while I keep waiting. 30 minutes later, I ask what happened to my order? They are like oh, we forgot and just begin my order. I felt that racism.

The food is good, but every single time we order at this place through DoorDash they do not provide any sides. Plain pupusas, with no salsa or veggies and also the Birria tacos with no sauce. Literally nothing

We had these tacos at a wedding at a winery and oh my goodness! It's exactly what you crave after a couple glasses of wine. The meat was incredible and the beans and rice were perfection. I wish I could have this cart with me everywhere I go!!!
