Found a local gem!! As a picky taco lover, this is GOOD! Friendly cashier's and fast service, best tacos I've had in queens. Excited to try other menu items very soon

Excellent Mexican restaurant. It is a bit of a hidden gem in that it's about a block away from the main strip. We have ordered both to go and dine in for lunch and everything has always been great. They have a glass counter in the front so you can see them make all the meals and everything looks great. Excellent portions. Barbacoa is always the favorite of the office, whether it is the burrito, quesadilla, or soup, all are great. Al pastor is good but a little more plain tasting. The chips and guacamole seem expensive but you get a big bag of chips and a good size container of guacamole. The frozen margaritas are good and typical.

My coworkers and I usually come here after a long day of work to just have good food, drinks and a nice time but we end up haven an Amazon time with great food and drinks. The music is just right every time and I always look forward to making plans to come here! I always recommend this place to family and friends.

The owner greeted us, explained the menu and was incredibly kind. The food was DELICIOUS! One of the best steak tacos I’ve had and I’ve tried a ton of taco spots. I wish I could give them higher than 5 stars, definitely recommend this spot!!

They are the best tacos in the area in terms of quality and cleanliness. I just would bother anywhere else. The sauce is incredibly spicy though so be warned!

The worst burrito I’ve ever had. Could it be more soggy? Not even pressed before or after. Flour tortilla tasted like straight poo. Also my quesadilla arrived with no pico de gallo and guacamole which it says it does. Don’t order here people. Stay far far away

Outstanding place ordered the chicken nachos and they were well served had a good amount of meat came cilantro and onion, sour cream and guac on the top. I would definitely recommend this place the waitresses were very attentive and quick. Food was also quick to come out. Atmosphere here is great good lighting and good colors.

No words! Absolutely delicious. My husband and I drive here from LI and cannot get enough! This is our 4th visit this month alone. Tacos, Frozen Horchata WOW! Our kids love this place too! Service is on point! 1000/10!

I absolutely love this local taco spot! I usually go for the grilled steak platter, which comes with poblano rice, pico de gallo, and a side of sour cream. The al pastor is another favorite--the marinade is incredible, packed with flavor, and absolutely delicious. And don't miss out on the pepino agua fresca--it's the perfect refreshing drink!

Food: I've been to this place twice, and the tacos don't seem consistent. The first time I came I loved the steak taco that I ordered another one after I finished eating. This time I was underwhelmed by the tacos and felt they were good but nothing special. There are much better taco places around. Of the tacos here, the chicken, steak, and al pastor are good. I wasn't a fan of the barbacoa taco though. The burrito was good and packed with rice, beans, lettuce, cheese, and your choice of meat. Overall delicious food but there are definitely better places for burritos and tacos. Service: Service is phenomenal. The staff are very attentive and friendly. They come back to check if everything is okay throughout the meal. Ambiance: This is a casual place and has a back patio with outdoor seating when it's warmer out. It's good for small and large groups. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant!

This is my first time visiting this restaurant and we came here for my birthday ! I was blown away by the amazing friendly service since we entered this place we felt like honored guests ! The owner of this location welcomed us in and offered us a complementary chicken soup ! The chicken nachos were one of the best, I have had ! We also had some tacos and enchiladas ! The drinks were nice and strong along with some complementary pineapple infused tequila, sweet and smooth! Highly recommend to check this out if you want to hear good music and feel like your at authentic Mexican spot! Pro-tip: get the tres leches dessert, it will be one of the best you will have in your life!

I am a California native visiting NYC with my mom and all we wanted was bomb food and this place delivered! The restaurant had the cutest decor and ambiance! The service was phenomenal, the gentleman helping us out chatted with us outside as we waited for our Lyft! They had the best rice and horchata EVER! We spilled an horchata accidentally and they were so very kind about it! Best experience and enchiladas out there!

No frills taqueria. Interior space is clean and updated. Tacos were delicious and well made with good flavor. Service was very prompt. Everything was good. Only issue I have is the 10 taco combo only allows selection of two kinds of meat. Would be nice to have multiple meats or some other less expensive combination deal because everything on the menu seems like it could come down $1-2. But just my $0.02.

I left work on a Saturday late afternoon with the taste for tacos period I didn't feel like driving all the way to the city to my favorite spot, so I looked around Long Island city and Sunnyside for some joints to try out. This place stood out among the rest period they had grilled chicken and steak tacos which are my favorites and they're the real kind I have when I go to California or Mexico. I arrived to a bright, modern taqueria with some seating indoors/outdoors and kind faces. I chose to dine in and found my faves as Ala carte items ($4 each), Frozen horchata, a grilled chicken and a grill steak taco..... all pretty tasty. I added radishes, green salsa and a little Pico de Gallo for good measure. The beef was a little overcooked, but well seasoned. The chicken was juicy and tasty. But this Frozen horchata???? Omg!!!!! It is sensational!!!!! I might have to cone after work every hot day just for a cup! I noticed a jar of homemade piña tequila, sold as shots. Maybe vill try it next time.

Food, service, and ambiance are delivered in full form. Whatever I get is in ideal portions, price, and quality. Still not for everyone!! They bring the spicy when you ask for it. No whiners! They recently updated the place. Great ideas made this place

I had the Santa Fe Grilled Sandwich with Alambre Tepito (mixed chicken, pork and steak). Hands down the BEST sandwich I've had anywhere. Super tasty, season and flavorful! The service was very quick and staff and owners were extremely friendly! The ambiance had nice music and they even have an outdoor patio! This is EASILY a 10 out of 10 GEM!

Came here during cinco de mayo. I didn't know what to expect. But it was bustling. The manager/ owner was outside greeting customers. He was very very friendly. I thought he was a worker or a host to get people to dine inside or take out. Once walking inside it was a bit disorganized. I didn't know if you were supposed to sit first then order from someone or if you order first at the register then sit. But it was a mixture of sitting and ordering at the front and they bring it to your table. Anyways, I ordered the 3 tacos combo - where you choose the meat, cilantro, onion and guacamole sauce. It was really good. I also got the frijoles charros with chips which was black beans, Mexican sausage mixed with chunky roast pork. Which I don't suggest. All in all, I will return to try other items on the menu.

One of the cheapest tacos that NYC has to offer, I have been to places where tacos start at like 4.50 for 1 but this price beats a lot of them. 3 tacos for $10. I got 3 al pastor and they were very good and the order came out fast. Im just happy this place is next to my apartment. Will 100% come back here.

Food is good but service is the worst one.... That don't mind customers at all. Manager is rude and he say people just want free food all time, this neighborhood is very nice and I don't believe he have experience in other restaurants since he say that.

Food: 4/5 Ordered chicken tacos, chicken quesadillas and chips/guacamole for delivery. I didn't get to try the chicken tacos but the chicken quesadilla was pretty darn good. They packed it with a very generous amount of chicken. Also, the guacamole was very fresh and refreshing. It's a must try! We ordered through DoorDash. Delivery took a very long time but this isn't a reflection on the establishment. I think we got a slow driver.

Great taco/mexican food spot! Great service, food is fresh and delicious. Staff is welcoming and attentive. Not touristy at all and you know it's authentic when it's packed with local Mexicans. Ate here twice on my short stay in Queens and would definitely come again.

I wanted to love this place, but it fell a bit short. Visited on a Sunday for lunch and I had 2 carnitas, 2 Al pastor tacos, while my bf had chorizo, Al pastor, carnitas, and carne asada. We both agreed that the al pastor was the best of them all! However, it was fattier and a bit overcooked for our taste (resulting in a tougher texture). Overall not bad but not great tacos. The portions were generous however, and if I was in the area I might come back.

The tacos here are so delicious and everything is well priced. We happened to be walking around looking for food while in the area and stumbled upon this place. What a great find. The inside of the restaurant smelled like disinfectant (not bad but not something I want to smell while eating) so we sat outside. The tacos are very well seasoned and very juicy and these tortillas are STUFFED. The frozen margarita was average nothing to write home about. I will definitely be back for more tacos.

This was the most disgusting, tasteless, greasy food I have ever ordered in my life. I am shocked such disgusting food is promoted on the Uber Eats app. The quesadillas had no vegetables in them and were just some soggy wraps clinging sadly to cheap melted cheese (picture attached). The tortilla chips were so greasy, the bag they came in was wet with oil (see picture). Bland, greasy, disgusting food. I threw my order in the trash. Do beware because Uber Eats has zero quality control; they refused to refund me even though the food was inedible, and I threw it in the trash. I will never use Uber Eats again. There are plenty of other delivery apps and other restaurants in NYC. I got home from work late and was hungry, but this food ended up in the garbage, where it belongs.

The food was good, but be mindful and check your statement... they falsify tips. They wrote down $9 for tip on a $26 check even though I tipped $6 in cash.

Came to Woodside,NY craving tacos with my lady and devoured every taco. The food and server i didn't get his name were excellent & will be returning again. Check out this nice taco joint to cater your tongues needs.

Had the burrito, just wow. Probably the best in Woodside. Not sure how long they've been here but I will 100 percent be coming back. Ingredients are quality. Hot sauce/salsas tasted so unbelievably fresh and staff are so lovely. New fave

Honest review: Born and raised in BK but moved to Queens in May. I've been trying to get to know the food gems in the neighborhood since I had to leave all my oldie but goodies behind in BK. Everyone BRAGS about the food scene in Queens and unfortunately I haven't found anything that's been worth the hype. I've been looking for great tacos, which surprisingly has been hard to find considering all the options, so I looked into some reviews and decided to visit here on a Sunday afternoon. Staff were very pleasant and attentive and the venue was very clean, so no issues there. Tacos..mid. I had Steak, Chicken, and Al Pastor. I have yet to find tacos in queens that are FRESH AND FLAVORFUL. Every Taco I've had, the meat is DRY. No different here. Al pastor-6/10, Steak-5/10, chicken-4/10. Hoping to find my go to, but sadly this wasn't it.

Taquerias are single-handedly one of the best things ever, and I'm so glad they're all over Bushwick! :) I ordered the veggie avocado burrito, and it was so filling. The burrito was MASSIVE. It had red and green bell peppers, tomatoes, squash and avocados. It was also filled with beans, rice, pico de gallo, cheese and sour cream. The burrito came out to around $12, which is a little bit higher in price point. However, this is New York after all. I didn't take a picture of the inside of the burrito, because trust me, it didn't look appetizing. I promise it was delicious though! Definitely ask for the green and avocado sauce! Both aren't spicy, but they add extra flavor. The cashier was super nice. The service was great. Nothing fancy for a taqueria. The prep time is a but longer, but I wanted to note that there was only one chef. So, you have to be patient, because it's truly out of everyone's control. I would still recommend this place, though.

** Delivery Review** Placed an order here on a Friday evening through Uber Eats. Good selection of your regular Mexican fare with only a small deliver fee Between two people, ordered the Veggie Avocado Burrito ($15.50), Alambre Tepito Nachos ($16.25), and a pair of Campechano Tacos ($10.50). Definitely pricier than other similar spots, but was hopeful on the quality of the food. Order arrives within the delivery window, thankfully still warm enough to not reheat. First off, the nachos are fantastic - a dense layering of chips, cheese, guac, sour cream, salsa, and every meat imaginable. One of the few times where the chips made up the least amount of the dish. As for the tacos, saltier than I would have liked, and the tortillas were stale. On a positive note, the ingredients are generous and the extra sauce on the side balanced out the flavors. Again considering the price, wouldn't order here as often. Would like to try in person at some point.

Yesterday's lunch treat was Taqueria Santa Fe! Quesadillas and tacos from Taqueria Santa Fe so good!!! The children soup is delicious and will warm you up in these cold days! Cheerio!

I discovered this place when randomly googling Cinco De Mayo hotspots in NYC. I stumbled across an article that stated the 5 places you should eat at to celebrate the day and this was the #1 place. Not surprisingly, I actually didn't do anything on Cinco De Mayo and instead came here during the weekdays to grab some lunch to go. I went with the Veggie Burrito. For one, I was pretty impressed with it. First, the burrito itself was huge. Second, there were literally a ton of veggies in the burrito. Sometimes when people order "veggie" burritos, it's merely a burrito with rice, beans, lettuce, cheese... you know the standard items. This was different - literally a variety of veggies throughout the burrito. Even with the size of the burrito, it didn't fall apart pretty easily. Huge plus. The burrito was $9.50, which given the serving size is a damn good deal. There is a decent amount of seating inside (and outside if I'm right) so plenty of people sit in to eat too. I'll be back.

Unless you're eating inside the food delivered is awful. There's always something missing or wrong. I got a quesadilla today and literally there was cheese everywhere but inside the quesadilla. I live down the street so it didn't need to look like it was rocket launched to me. I will continue sticking with Cemitas El Tigre

Best tacos in sunnyside, staff is super friendly, attentive and makes sure you always have what you need. If you're looking for great service make sure you get Manuel he's the best.

First of, I wanna comment on the pick up service ordered through Yelp... It was super easy & flawless!!! I picked the time I wanted the food to be ready and arrived 5min after just in case, I gave a server my name & he brought me my food to go outside which was super sweet. In the picture they may seem like small tacos but they're filling & at least the carnitas were so so good. I was honestly curious about the guacamole & chips because sometimes the price doesn't match the potion at restaurants and at TSF it totally did! You get an entire little container with freshly made guacamole & a paper bag full of chips if you order to go! 10/10 will definitely be ordering again (:

Really solid Mexican food for cheap prices. The best I've had in Sunnyside/Woodside for sure. Spent $45 bucks and got: - 6 sizable tacos with two different types of tasty, juicy meat - Large serving of rice, beans, guac and spicy meat, good enough for 1 whole meal on its own - 1 good-sized portion of TASTY tortilla chips and fresh guac Was enough to feed two people, for two consecutive meals. Took them 10 minutes to prep, service was good. Absolutely recommend, quality is quite good. Stop wasting time and get in there and order some good tacos already.

We came in, ordered at the counter, and remain seated. A nice middle aged man brought over the food. After we ate, we cleaned up after ourselves. It was partial self serve so I am not sure if the man is always there to serve the food. We ordered the 25 taco combo for four people to share. The food was very abundant. I believe we ordered al pastor, steak, chicken tinga, chorizo and barbacoa. All the tacos were great except the chicken tinga. It tasted like tuna, thankfully one of us didn't mind the taste and finished it off. (I wish they served free salsa and chips at least to people that order larger combos, but wishful thinking. Ahaha.) It's a no frills store. You order and you get your food pretty quick. This is a great place to bring a hungry group that are craving some Mexican tacos.

Great neighborhood taqueria. Delicious tacos, family setting, great price. Tacos - 3 for under $7? Okay! Had Al Pastor and campechano (steak mixed with sausage). Al Pastor had generous portions of meat, complimented by pineapple (oh yes) onions cilantro and sauce. The ingredients mesh so well together and sits so well in your mouth. Loved it. Surprisingly liked the Campechano more. If this place ups their tortilla game, rock on - has potential to be one of the greats in nyc. Horchata- I'm no horchata master but it was great. Loved the cinnamon in this one. Also not overly sweet - which I loved. Setting - casual family friendly. Really great welcome when you walk in. Owner seems to know the regulars and just the fact that several regulars come in - you know it's a great sign. You order up front, and they bring you the tacos. You can also see the kitchen and chefs in action. Decent amount of seating! Bathroom - super clean so you know the kitchen is clean! Overall, I'd come back whenever I'm in the mood for tacos, which is quite often! Happy I checked this place out.

Best quesadillas I've ever had!! Anytime I visit or order take out here it's always good ! Everything is packed with flavor , quesadillas, tacos and their soups are all and made prepared . They have offer indoor and outdoor dining and when you walk in you get to see their chefs cooking your food on the spot , each visit is such a good experience.

Super authentic tacos (the soft flour ones doube-wrapped with cilantro, limes, onions & pico de gallo) served from a gyro-type skewer on a spit. Not fancy whatsoever. Definitely more of a takeout place. Didn't notice too many alcoholic beverages other than 2 or 3 types of beer. Chicken Quesadilla was thick, cheesy and hearty. Probably the best tasting item there.

The chicken soup helped me so much when I was sick. I also ordered the pork taco and it was so good!! Delivery was easy.

This spot is quick and delicious. I ordered for pick up and it was ready shortly after. My favorite thing I got here was the alambre tepoto nachos, which had a mixture of different meats. The chips were so delicious and I could tell it was freshly made. They were also very generous with the toppings on it. However, the chicken Tingas tacos were a little dry. The chicken seemed to be over cooked and I had to fill it with sour cream. The grilled steak tacos were better. I got the taco platter which was a great deal because tacos are way cheaper this way. I would definitely come back to this place.

This food is excellent! We have used them to cater parties as well as just stopping by to pick up some take away. I have not dined-in there so I don't know the level of table service, but the food is great. I come from Southern California and we pride ourselves of good Mexican cuisine - this place definitely meets the standard of excellence I have looked for, but not found, in the city. One of my favorites is the "Chicken Chipotle Soup" - a meal to itself. This place is good eats!!!
