A Japanese Market called Wagaya Groceries Opens Inside Robatayaki and Sake Restaurant Chirori in Midtown, Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"The Roswell Road location of Taqueria Tsunami is now closed; I was told owner Scott Kinsey cited financial losses stemming from the ongoing health crisis as the reason. Other Taqueria Tsunami locations at Madison Yards in Reynoldstown, Marietta, Roswell, East Cobb, Woodstock, and Peachtree Corners remain open for dine-in service, takeout, and curbside pick-up." - Beth McKibben

I ate at bar and have wonderful experience with my server. She was very attentive and just had good pulse on when to checkup and make sure I was attended too without being overbearing.

Drooped off at the entrance, the Manager greeted me as soon as I entered. Upon my husband’s entrance, we were quickly seated and our waiter appeared within one to two minutes. He introduced himself, explained the menu and took our drink and appetizer orders. We perused the menu, deciding the different taco choices we wanted to try. We were impressed with everything we ate. We agreed the sauces were flavorful, the creations and combinations of each taco choice were beyond “the every day more common tacos. Along with our tasty appetizers and sides, the tacos were actually the best tacos we’ve ever eaten. From the many types of taco’s they offer, they must be a top menu item. We will definitely return!

Different kind of place. Not Mexican totally but there are Mexican dishes and nachos. A little Mexican, Korean, Spanish and American . I got the American Bowl. It was delicious and definitely a new taste for me. My only complaint is that they don’t bring unlimited nachos to the table . I thought that was odd . This place is on my favorite place list.

The flavors here are On Point! I've had most of the tacos and sides and a couple of the bowls and salads. Everything is absolutely delicious and very fresh and clean tasting. Service is great, and it's the one place around town that hasn't gone insane with its prices. Highly recommend.

Stopped in for an afternoon bite and was delighted to discover this gem! I was not hungry but wanted a little snack. Luckily for me, they have a lot of finger foods for you to choose from. My server was so attentive and made sure I was informed about the menu. The vibe was very chill. I could have sat there all day long! I ordered the avocado egg rolls and some queso. The egg rolls were sensational. I’ve never had guacamole quite like that before. There may be no turning back. The queso was good too. The chips were really crushed up though. Last I could not leave this spot without seeing if they could make some A+ churros. They did not disappoint! These churros were crunchy, chewy and perfectly dusted. I could come back just for them lol. Overall great spot. I hear they are all over ATL. Stop by one when you get a chance. Tell them that ASH SAID IT sent ya! #ashsaidit

Their food is outstanding and so much better than your typical taco place. They have a great patio as well - it’s enclosed so super safe for little kids to run around.

You can find high quality dishes made from fresh ingredients here. The place is very clean and well-managed. We tried chicken enchiladas and it tastes amazing. Price-wise, that specific dish was priced reasonably - $11 - but starters (e.g., guacamole is a bit pricey $8-9). I will definitely visit this place again. Recommend.

My wife and I have been to a few other locations and since we were the area we decided to give it a try. The reason for three star rating is due to the following: The cheese queso was extremely runny and lack any flavor. Our waiter only came to our table twice which I had to wave down another waitress and ask for a refill on our fountain drinks. This was the only time someone ever came to our table. A HUGE party came in after we sat down which they were very loud. They say them right in the front which is weird because I would assume they would have sat them further back in the restaurant so to try and mitigate disturbing the rest of the guests. I’m not sure if it was the manager or not but he just stood in the back of the restaurant with his arm crossed (helpful hint: if you see your staff running around like chickens with no heads, maybe you should help them out). The staff appeared to be younger which I tried my best to be patient. Overall, the food was so-so… Nothing to crave over. I don’t foresee us coming back.
