I would give this 10 stars if I could. Seriously good find with authentic Mexican food like you're eating food in Mexico City. The girl who took my your order didn't speak English but she was very kind. I got tacos, mulitas, and a sope. ALL SO GOOD OMG IT WAS MOUTHWATERING AND PERFECT BALANCE OF FLAVORS. For the first time I did NOT put any salsa or lime on the food because it was honestly just perfect as it was and I didn't want to alter the flavor. I devoured my food sorry no pics. You cannot go wrong ordering anything off the menu. I will definitely be coming back here when I'm in Nashville.

I got the fajitas mixed meat. Shrimp was the only meat good to me. Also I thought I would get tortillas to go with it but I thought wrong. Overall the food was fresh but nasty to me. Will stick to chuy’s lol

I'm from Chicago and a friend took me here.... the tacos were delicious....I had the quesabirriera and it didn't disappoint at all... rice was soft and moist and the beans weren't all lumpy and tasteless... they were creamy and perfectly seasoned... next time I visit Tennessee I'll definitely come back here 😁

Placed an order online. I picked it up in store. My order was correct. It was packaged with care to include: utensils, napkins, sauce (red and green) and grilled onions and lime wedges were provided. Cilantro was perfect. Onions were fresh. The meat was absolutely tender and juicy. Birria was delightful. Consomme was delicious. (Don't sleep on this place! ) It was clean inside and had plenty of customers who all were enjoying their food. We plan to come back and enjoy a few beers and enjoy our food in-house. We splurged and also got (2) slices of cake - it was generous and delicious. For $52 - I'll come back again. This generously fed (2) very hungry adults. I paid the online ordering fee (Menustar) and it was worth it...My order was ready, accurate and packaged. I gave my tip when I placed my order, and I was not disappointed in the service and taste of my food. 10 out of 10. I'd do it again, and I'll bring friends.

The birra tacos had no flavor, they fell apart so it was impossible to eat and they were very soggy, wouldn’t go back.

Taqueria y Birrieria Arandas is a tiny hole-in-the-wall storefront in Nashville, Tennessee with a few tables inside that has a food truck parked next to it. The food is prepared in the food truck and brought by friendly servers to those of us waiting inside for their amazing food. I ordered two tacos, one pastor and one asada, and a birria gordita dipped in the red sauce they use for their pambazo. My food was brought to me in a relatively quick fashion and my server gave me a bright smile as she placed the food before me. I literally added various sources they also placed before me and tore into my meal. I have to say that Taqueria y Birrieria Arandas is a fantastic taqueria that hits on every positive note. The food was fantastic and served fast, the price was right, it had that cool hole-in-the-wall type vibe and the staff was friendly. If you find yourself in Nashville, Tennessee, I definitely recommend this establishment.

This is in a sketchy area but once you get past the aesthetics the people are friendly. The place was pretty full at 1 on Sunday, so I ordered to go. I forgot my straw and a nice man followed me outside to make sure I had it, which shows they truly care - to go out of their way for something so small. Most of the staff only speak Spanish. They had one waitress translating when necessary. I ordered the Birria Gordita and the Asada Mulita. They were both delicious but I preferred the Asada Mulita because it seemed to have a greater portion of meat. The Horchata tasted watered down and I wouldn't order it again, which is a shame because I seek out Horchata when craving Mexican. Menu items are priced well for the portions you receive.

The food was not awful but it was not good . I've had birra at other places and they are way better, the other cup w shrimp was bad had no flavor just tasted like water and cilantro. service is good great though.

authentic flavor, Omg! Like the other reviews said, THE BEST BIRRIA TACOS and Consome, The West Coast Taco shop has nothing on this flavor. And the price is very reasonable. Ask for THE SPECIAL for The consome, is so herbal and delicious! The tacos were filled, not skimped. The outside of the tacos weren't the usual texture of a taco due to all the tacos piled on top of each other. The flavor was on point though. If you speak English, call ahead and they will get someone who speaks English to get your order. People starred at me as I got my food (not workers) but with it tasting like that, I'll be back. Black people like Mexican food too!

Overall very good! The drinks are huge. The cheese on my sopes was perfectly crumbly and just so fresh.

I passed by this place driving to work last week, and found myself jonesing for authentic Birria today, so I sent in an electronic order and hoped for the best. It's set in a small strip mall in a part of town that supports many immigrant owned businesses; I do love supporting folks who are pursuing the American Dream. The food is cooked in a truck parked out front, but you can choose to order it in the attached storefront. I went inside and asked for my e-order; I noted that some of the tables and chairs were blocked off as COVID-19 precautions. Bravo. The server quickly handed off my order and off I went back to my office. I ordered a birria Gordita, and three street tacos (shrimp, al pastor, and chorizo). In my electronic order, I asked for a side order of Birria consommé, and I was pleased to see that they included a "hot cup" full of the magic juice. The Gordita looked and smelled so good that I took two bites before remembering to take a pic :-) The meat (beef) was tender, but not mush, and the broth was richly flavored. The chorizo taco was less greasy than others I've had, but very well spiced. The al pastor wasn't spit cooked, but it was tender, and had a distinct pineapple flavor (which, to me, is a requirement for decent Al Pastor). The shrimp was ok; three 31-40 count shrimp plainly grilled. They were tasty; just nothing out of the ordinary. The entire meal set me back $11. Highly recommended for authentic Mexican street tacos and birria in the Donelson area.

Oooooooo weeeeee! Chile..... 1. I'm a pescatarian. I know this already. So trust me when I say I start the meal with 1 Rolaids and 1 Tums tablet. 2. Part of the name of this restaurant is "Birria" F-this This food was so freaking good! They know I'm coming back! I asked for extra juice on the gordita from the beef stew... Lord child they brought it! I just want to say thank you to this restaurant! No! I really mean thank you! The food with seasoned properly. But that birria gordita.... Oh my.... oh my my my. One more Rolaids and Tums tablet please! Oh shrimp Taco was good too. But not as good as that birria taco! The staff was extra friendly! And there was another staff who helped me with translations! But you know when it comes to food... I already speak the language... best believe that! There's also a food truck outside in case you don't want to go in and order. I tell you what... When the pandemic is over, I have a hangover spot! ***Special mention*** I found the skin of a chili in my gordita! Now that is what I'm talking about when it comes to a restaurant cooking good food. Use actual ingredients versus a bunch of flavor enhancing chemicals! Also... Do not come here asking for some quinoa or seaweed skin taco shelled tacos! Let these people be great and cook how they do! Because this food was Damn Delicious!

It's usually pretty busy but they have an outdoor kitchen/taco truck & are very efficient. They have a great selection of bottled drinks & imported beers. The food & setting is quite authentic, so if you're looking for a Chipotle style experience, it's not for you. If you're looking for real authentic Latin American food experience, this is a great place to start. The workers were very helpful and friendly. You can also do take out.

Omg.. the Birria tacos at this place are OUT OF THIS Im a huge taco fan of authentic tacos, and coming from So Cal, I know good Mexican food. All that to say, I got the regular Birria with Consome broth/soup on the side, and would 10/10 recommend it. So much flavor and so moist. Their verde (green) salsa is creamy and spicy, but so good too! I had tired this place a year or so ago and didn't love it, but I think they didn't have the Birria before or I just didn't know about it.

Late-night tacos are always the best. Pulling up you'll see the truck but come in to get a seat and a table to enjoy what will be brought to you. The tacos here are spot on but they have many other options on their menu: tortas, sope, quesadilla, and more! Come in any time and be surprised at how much you love a traditional street taco.

I was driving down Murfreesboro road and needed a to go lunch. I saw a taco truck connected to a brick and mortar restaurant and decided to stop by. I ordered inside with my taco truck go-to, a torta Cubana. This was probably my favorite torta Cubana in town. It had fresh avocado and all of the meats were great. The bread was a good thickness resembling a Kaiser roll. It was big, but it wasn't too big like some others. I'll definitely return.

I don't give five stars very often but this place had great authentic food. All food is prepared in a food truck but you go into a connected store front to either eat in or get takeout. The place has seven booths and two tables. Don't expect anything fancy in the way of decor. They are even bring the food out to your vehicle if you arrange when you call in your order. We have been twice to eat here and the food was tops both times. We had tacos (of course) de tripa e lingua, quesadilla con chorizo, a burrito de carnitas, and fajitas de carne. The server, the same both times, was courteous and attentive to all of our needs. She is also bilingual. I will definitely continue to satisfy my Mexican food cravings here.

I went the other Day for Takeout and Discovered I could Dine In, so I did and tried 7 of Their Tacos and Got the Birria all delicious. Took Home My leftovers and had a great Supper and Dinner another Day. I Look forward to coming Again. It is a Wonderful Hole in the Wall Place, that would be Perfect if it had Chips and Salsa.

We found this nugget of a place by chance visiting some friends on Percy Priest Lake. I mean by chance that we even If your going to eat tacos it doesn't get any better than this.....period. About as authentic as it gets. Will come back again!!!

Mexican food is my love language, I have to eat some sort of Mexican dish every week. I passed by this place one day and it was PACKED. I decided to stop and order birria tacos and OMG. Everything was amazing! The consome, the meat, everything about it was amazing. I refuse to order from anywhere else now, this is the best Mexican food I've had during my time in Nashville. They rim your cerveza with Tajín, have an assortment of Jarritos and other drinks. I love everything about this place.

It's always hard to find a great place you can call your own. I've been going to this place since they opened. We all have that wonder and questions if every taco place the same?I say no. Each has their own personality when it comes to the taste and menu. You will not find me at a Americanized place like Las Palmas. I like mom and pops taco places like this one. Nolensville Road is full of different and great places to try and it comes down to what do you like? Well I like this family style place. It's one of a few places where you can actually sit down and dine in and order. Most taco places you have to order from the stand or from the car. Many of us are not bilingual but this place some of the servers do speak English. Service is quick and their menu is not overly too much. Don't expect to get chips and salsa. Most of these taco stands don't have that but that's what makes this legit place to eat. Prices are amazing as well and the food is full of flavor. You get more for your buck! From tacos to the burrito, BBQ chicken, cooked to order and quick and all amazing and taste fresh. They do have traditional drinks like Jarrito, Horchata and all bottled drinks. They do serve beer in bottles no liquor. Course you can order to go. If you dine in they bring out 2 bottles of salsa to add to every bite. Green and red and both are equally hot. One of my favorite things they add to the plates is the sauted grilled onions and the grilled jalapeno pepper. HOT but adds so much flavor to every bite. They are open late nights and whenever you're craving great tacos or other things to eat this is the place. They also take debit, credit and cash. Another nice thing is other stands you have to pay cash which many of us do not carry. The owner is friendly and always makes an effort to say hi to me. I even try to learn a few Spanish words the best I can!

Amazing! The meat is well seasoned and the flavor doesnt sit k top of the meat! The tortillas are fresh and moist, often you they will be dry but this place gets it right every time! My fav taco spot in Nashville

This is my go to for great tacos and tortas. I recommend the pierna torta and the lengua tacos. So good! It reminds me of home in NY where you can find so many hole in the wall taco places that really deliver great food. Antioch really has some choice places and this is one of them.

Tacos are so delicious!!!!! If the don't have the birrieria stew, just go to west coast, but order the tacos from here FIRST!!!!! 100/10 recommend!
