"Part of the historic and former Condessa Filomena Matarazzo Maternity hospital complex, now converted into the luxury Rosewood São Paulo hotel, where the menu bears the signature of famous chef Felipe Bronze. In this charming space, the cooking is based around that of South America as a whole, with the open grill featuring prominently in a variety of harmonious dishes prepared with ingredients of the highest quality. Why not start with an authentic South American dish such as the excellent combination of tuna ceviche with caramelised peanuts, shiso, sesame, peanut milk and crispy tapioca? Follow this with a Brazilian classic – duck with tucupi (fermented manioc juice), sheep curd and toasted pineapple. For those who prefer to eat alfresco, the terrace is simply charming!" - Michelin Inspector

The setting on the terrace at Taraz is beautiful — surrounded by olive trees, it has a warm and inviting atmosphere. I had the beef empanadas, the picanha assado, and finished with a carajillo. The food itself was good and well-prepared. Unfortunately, the service was a mess. I received the wrong cocktail to start, and later was accidentally given another table’s bill. While the staff were friendly enough, the mix-ups took away from the experience. Overall, it’s a nice spot if you want to enjoy the terrace setting, but for the price and reputation, I expected smoother service and a more polished overall experience.

The place is overrated. Architecturally speaking it is amazing. Good for a visit. Other than that, I wouldn’t go back to have a meal, maybe just an expensive coffee and I overheard some people mentioning that they have the most expensive parking in South America. With a reservation, we were told that we had to leave within two hours, because there was another reservation in two hours from the time we had set for dinner before they gave us a table in a meeting room.

Such a gem! It's a voyage through Brazilian and other Latin American foods. We had ceviche and fugazzeta pizza and then an amazing Brazilian coloquial meal. They start out with an invitational shot of cachaca. Service was impeccable and the space is modern and a collection of great pieces. Super chic!

Absolutely wonderful experience at Taraz! The food was delicious — full of flavor, creativity, and balance — and the atmosphere inside Rosewood São Paulo is simply stunning. But what made the experience truly special was the service. Matheuzinho, our waiter, was exceptional — kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. He made us feel welcomed and added such a warm energy to the evening. It’s rare to find a restaurant where both the food and the people leave such a lasting impression. Highly recommend Taraz — especially if you’re looking for a memorable dining experience in São Paulo.

We wear not supposed to come to Sao Paolo, due to a flight delay we stayed for one night, we are so happy this happened because we discovered this amazing restaurant, the service is high class as for a star restaurant, there is good music, and the food…The food is something really special, you travel thru Latino America with beautiful and wonderful dishes. Thank you to the team!

I visited Taraz with my husband for dinner. Our experience was perfect. We choose a pork belly, brazilian wine and brazilian cassava bread with coconut and ice cream. The perfect combination. Marcelo was our waiter. Very gentleman. I really recomend Taraz.

The experience was lovely, the food and drinks were amazing. Specially the basil infused gin (can’t remember the name of the drink). Service was outstanding, specially Manuel who’s been working there for years. He was very sweet and amazing telling the story of Rosewood and Terazzo!

Small plates were excellent and an overall outstanding experience which is more than I can say for the Michelin rated restaurants in São Paulo. I would prob recommend skipping the main entrees and just having more small plates, not because the main courses were bad, but because the small plates were so much more extraordinary. Service was stellar.
