I took back everything I could find to Target that still had the tags on and still in the package today. 9/15/24 (Papyrus Halloween and Thanksgiving cards, stickers, shoes, ink etc.) because of an experience I had yesterday.9/14/24 I returned something to customer service as I have several times in the past. I am a frequent Target customer and enjoyed it very much. The item I wanted to return was about $275 and I had the receipt with me and the item in the originial box etc. My son was with me. The boy (he must have been, certainly not a gentleman) that was helping me said that I didn't buy the item at Target. I said, please look at the receipt. (I actually had two different ones from the store website of purchased products). He said, no, sorry, this was not bought at Target. I stepped away, looked up my receipt again and again and went back to the customer service. He got his manager, she said It was too late to return the item, (it was an Apple product) which has a special return policy which was acceptable to me. That I understand, the - it was the NOT a Target item, I cannot accept. It was insulting and degrading. I have integrity and pride myself in being a good person. That was enough to tell me that they do not need my business. I know they don't care one bit, but I do. To be accused of trying to get a refund from something I supposedly bought somewhere else and pass it off as a Target item sounds like stealing to me. Nice going Target. I bought the Apple product at YOUR store.
