Target

Came in to buy holiday presents, upon entering I saw the manager Ryan berating a poor seasonal employee (older woman) because their plaid shirt wasn't red enough. It was plenty red and she had her target hi-vis vest on as she was the one they selected to walk out to the cars for curbside, would not go again!

I had a very serious and alarming experience at the charlottesville Target from the team leader named Robert. I made a return here and the return was put on a merchandise gift card. As soon as I finished the return I went to buy some items and I tried to use the merchandise gift card that I had just been given from my return. The card didn't work. Two different 't cashiers tried to get my merchandise gift card to work and at both registers it said 'no balance'. So I walk back to customer service where Robert is and I ask why the merchandise card he just handed me a few minutes ago from my return has no balance. When I hand him the card he very quickly puts this card somewhere under the counter and I see him pull out a different merchandise card that was in his pocket. He swipes this merchandise gift card that was in his pocket and says it works now. He did all of this very quickly. I could tell something was going on with what he had just done. I ask to talk to the manager and Robert says he is the manager. I ask him if he is really the manager since he looks too young to be the manager and now he changes his story and says he's the 'team lead' and there is no manager there. When I first made my return he was acting normal but now as I was questioning what exactly he had just done he is very agitated and snippy. Something is definitely not right with what Robert was trying to get away with. I really hope other shopper's don't go here and potentially get scammed out of their refund. Please be very cautious if you go here to make a return, especially if Robert is doing the return. I will never go here again.

For a chain that claims to be struggling, closing at *9pm on a Saturday, during the holiday shopping season seems pretty stupid. I had 4 (yes, FOUR) staff seek me out around 9:45-9:50pm to tell me in annoyed tones, "We CLOSE at NINE TONIGHT." Earlier in the evening when I needed help with an item - NO staff to be found. Then at 9:01 while I'm still waiting in line to check out, they start shutting off lights. GREAT way to attract customers, Target! :-/

Terrible. Just buy stuff online if you like to do business with Target. Every person I interacted with did not want to be working/wasn’t working and made it like having to do literally anything they are paid to do was an enormous inconvenience and huge task. It’s infuriating and unpleasant. Makes me sad because I really use to love shopping here. :(

Terrible service at the checkout counter (11/11/25 Veteran's Day). The African American lady on Isle #5 was vulgar and had a really disgusting attitude. I had my two daughters with me 7 & 10 year old, they were also taken back and disappointed to see a Black woman act is such a manner that was unbecoming. We are also African Americans and to see this behavior was appalling to say the least. Most important, as a Veteran on Veterans Day, she noticed I was wearing a Cavalry Stetson (worn by Service members who have served in cavalry units) and didn't even have the common courtesy to say Happy Veterans Day, or, more importantly, to speak when I approached the counter to check out. Ugly attitude, and that is a pet peeve of mine. As a disabled veteran with over 30 years of service, she should not be anywhere near customers (bad energy and ugly attitude)! Never have a issue at target. Although when doordashing I barely ever get help from staff and its their job to at least help or refer me in the right direction you would think so minus 1 star

We love this target. The staff is kind and they have a very nice collection from board games to food. Target also has a CVS,Starbucks and many other makeup brand stores inside the store itself. They have a nice collection of designer dress wear. It’s the perfect place to be when you need something important. I highly recommend it. I also recommend the bathrooms, they’re very clean.

If self checkout isnt going to be open, then get rid of it. Stop taunting us with self checkout that isnt ever open! Thats called "torture" and its actually against international laws. Also, why bother being open at all? You almost never have what I need.

Over the few days I was moving my daughter into UVA I visited the Target store three times. The store is located on the edge of town, so a haul from UVA. It's the only Target in town. Thankfully it was a great experience. Friday and Saturday they were very busy, but most shelves had some inventory. Sunday was a more pleasant customer experience with lower crowds. Also the shelves were not ransacked. There was plenty of staff at every turn to ask for assistance. Checkouts were smooth with lots of staff. This has been an issue for a bit with customers being forced to checkouts. I know that I will be back.

This has got to be the worst target within 400 miles. I mean everything is out of stock. The location is horrible. The service took and even greater hit now that self check out is gone. Someone has to step in and fix this store. I'd rather drive an extra 20 minutes to the location in Waynesboro it's so bad here.

i really loved the service i received from peyton greene, she went above and beyond in giving me a good experience at target. i felt that she aligned perfectly with the target image.

I took back everything I could find to Target that still had the tags on and still in the package today. 9/15/24 (Papyrus Halloween and Thanksgiving cards, stickers, shoes, ink etc.) because of an experience I had yesterday.9/14/24 I returned something to customer service as I have several times in the past. I am a frequent Target customer and enjoyed it very much. The item I wanted to return was about $275 and I had the receipt with me and the item in the originial box etc. My son was with me. The boy (he must have been, certainly not a gentleman) that was helping me said that I didn't buy the item at Target. I said, please look at the receipt. (I actually had two different ones from the store website of purchased products). He said, no, sorry, this was not bought at Target. I stepped away, looked up my receipt again and again and went back to the customer service. He got his manager, she said It was too late to return the item, (it was an Apple product) which has a special return policy which was acceptable to me. That I understand, the - it was the NOT a Target item, I cannot accept. It was insulting and degrading. I have integrity and pride myself in being a good person. That was enough to tell me that they do not need my business. I know they don't care one bit, but I do. To be accused of trying to get a refund from something I supposedly bought somewhere else and pass it off as a Target item sounds like stealing to me. Nice going Target. I bought the Apple product at YOUR store.

Like any other target, this location has a lot of everything. I'm not one for shopping excursions, but I can't help myself here. The only trouble you may run into is finding assistance. It seems a lot of people you see stocking on the floor aren't trained to assist if it's not their department. But I don't find it to be a huge issue as I've been here enough that I know where everything I need is. As targets go, 4 stars is appropriate

This Target is not really located close to the heart of Charlottesville. About a 20 minute drive north for myself. This location was pretty well stocked. It wasn't as orderly as I've seen some but definitely has enough to satisfy your Target needs! There is a huge sale section for bargain shoppers and the grocery section looked pretty updated. We will probably return for essential items.

I know their help is seasonal and about 98 percent of the kids who work there have no idea what they are doing. There are open packages, misplaced things throughout the store. The clothing is in a shambles. I noticed a few foods were expired in 2021 so thats not good. The Target in Culpeper is better.

I usually shop Walmart over Target for convenience and prices but tonight my sister and I decided to stop in and see what we could find. Pricing is anywhere from a few dollars to 50% more than Walmart on the items we compared. We did find a few items on clearance and noticed a handful of brands not carried by Walmart. We were shocked to see the manager sign the sheet in the bathroom stating it was clean. All stalls were GROSS except one.

I'm a fan of this Target- I just wish it wasn't "so far out there" on 29. The location, however, is nice if you live close to it. There are other great businesses nearby. The store is always clean and mostly well stocked. I do find that the dollar spot can get picked over quickly at this location, but probably because it is frequented so often. I've always had really friendly help at this Target whether checking out or returning things, and of course I love that there is a Starbucks in store. Who doesn't love grabbing coffee and walking around Target for a while?

Extraordinarily clean and well-kept. It's a much better option that Wal-mart, with many of the same types of products, including groceries. There's a no-fee deal where you sign up and get 5% off your purchase when you use the target card and it comes out of your checking account. It's a great deal.

I LOVE TARGET! The low-star status must be from the few people who have had negative experiences. It looks like some other reviews were taken out of context and based on single and biased experiences. I am in this target 3-4x per week and I've never had a bad experience. I understand that not every trip will be amazing also those who are upset will more likely leave a bad review. Those who are completely satisfied will not go out of their way to leave a review, so here goes. So here goes - Target is clean and organized, firstly. Walmart has a totally different vibe. Its usually messy and the employees seem so unhappy. Target employees are always happy to just say hello and help with anything.

The employees who work the Starbucks are rude. One gave my drink to another customer, and then when I asked if they could start remaking mine instead of moving on to guests who were there almost 10 minutes after mine should have been ready they started to finally make it. Then they made it wrong, and I said they forgot to add the chocolate, and the one they gave the guy looked correct thats how I know, and she said "I forgot, you were rushing me". The drink still didn't taste right, and if I wasn't driving through on my way home for the holidays I probably would have asked to see the manager and spent more time getting it right... update. Turns out they gave me a buy 1 get 1 coupon to make up for it but when I went to use the coupon it was already used according to my local Target Starbucks.

Horrible!!!!! Customer service sucks!!! Been waiting in like for ten minutes and manager lady were sending people behind me to lanes that were open but their lights were not turned on. Wtf!!! Asked the another manger why and he said they just misjudged. This target only help white people!!!!
