This is an alright Target, it's not particularly well stocked, nor staffed, but the problem is the staff they are downright rude let me explain...
Took my son there to buy some action figures on his birthday, having recently gotten an imaginext or hasboro star wars millenium falcon playset so he was anxious to have R2D2 and C3po, we found the figures dropped them in the cart and off we went, did a little more shopping grocery section was completely thrashed out of nearly everything including what I had come there for, but oh well undaunted we went to check out. Get to the register and the checker (who was a nice guy -- the only one) went to ring up his figures and it rings up "do not sell until 9/4"... And he explained I can't sell this unless it rings up, he calls over the front end manager "Ace" some rotund African American guy who was completely discourteous grabbed it out of my son's hand and says "we can't sell you that", I'm aghast at this point and said "We didn't do anything wrong, it's on the shelves, it's priced, and should be for sale, get the manager please". Up saunters some African lady (from Africa) with the thickest accent imaginable darn near unintelligible and "No no no we can't sell ju dat" well I demand that you sell it to me, how am I going to explain to my son on his birthday that we can't buy that? She says sorry, takes the toy and walks away.. No let me get you a rain check, no courtesy no nothing just total surly and rude and walks off, this is Target's idea of customer service for you? You would think a manager would be trained to handle this, a customer is never wrong, and it's not her job to make it worse. Immediately called their corporate office and reported their behavior both "Ace" and the "African Lady" have no business working in customer service and should be fired, how dare you be so rude to my son and paying customers. Their customer service people agreed, and tried to make things right with a gift card (which we do appreciate). We'll really think twice about going back to this store again, being how poorly we were treated, poor checker guy apologized profusely and said they're way out of line for that, we don't blame him he was a good guy. So target is the only store who stocks items on the shelves that you just cannot buy and then when you call them on that they're going to be totally rude to you and your child(ren).
I'll take my business elsewhere thank you...
