A Breakfast-in-Bed Tray Makes Doing Everything From Bed Possible | Eater

"Purchased from the retailer for its quick shipping and matching wood tone, this sensible, no-frills wood breakfast-in-bed tray has collapsible legs that click into place and feel surprisingly sturdy on a soft mattress. It holds dinners, snacks, and a laptop steady, tucks away easily propped against a dresser or under the bed, and helped the reviewer manage postpartum recovery—providing a stable surface for pumping, snacking, working, and protecting sheets from crumbs and spills. Overall it’s a practical, comforting addition that makes eating and working in bed less messy and more manageable." - Hillary Dixler Canavan

Cashiers greet customers. Customer service Cashiers also pick and prepare curbside order and are extremely rude when busy. Seasonal section is often clutter and not organized. Apparel department is clean and well stocked with quality brand apparel items. Cosmetic department well stocked, clean and organized. Great circle member discounts, coupons, and saving for products throughout each category. Check expreration dates closely. Dairy and meat products often near best by date at this location.

We brought a lot of staff from there for years, but now I don't like to visit this place anymore. The Toothless Night Fury teddy bear doesn't work properly, so the cash counter told us to go to the discount and customer service desk. We went there and asked, but it's not working. First, she said she would give us a 10% discount, then she checked and said she can't give us a discount. I said okay, then I asked her if she could put batteries in it and give it to us for the full price. She said no. Then I asked her why the two Toothless bears had batteries, but this one didn't. She had no answer. I think the Target owner and management have become poor; I think they are there to rob customers. It's a disaster, a disgrace, and horrible service. The lady was rude and didn't even wish us well. There's no quality in the customer service they provide to loyal customers.

Google
I was having the toughest time getting a nice Funko pop box and so when I came here I was expecting some help. The Target employee Javier went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and I can’t thank him enough for his hard work. Keep up the excellent customer service here!

Google
Store was really nice everything was organized and put together unfortunately when I went to to check out I wanted to check out in the electronic section. A lady that worked only in electronics told me I could not check out in a very rude way. After I told her I’ve always checked out there and it’s never Been an issue she was quick to tell me that they only check out locked up electronics and it’s been that way for two years. If I’m buying something I should be checked out regardless of the item and regardless of the department it’s still making money for the store so there shouldn’t be an issue and I hope target feels the same because she didn’t

As a Target executive team leader (manager) I helped open this store in 1993. Since then, it's been expanded to include groceries and a CVS Pharmacy. The quality of merchandise has been improved. The store is well lighted with nice shiny floors and excellent presentation. Target prides itself on friendly and helpful team members. I highly recommend this store.

Google
Fantastic location. Using the app to find things was incredibly accurate and helpful. The staff was very friendly and cheered up my shopping visit. I found what I needed in a clean, organized environment with more options and selection than I expected. I plan on visiting this location again! Only recommendation would be to somehow put a minimum speed on some of the shoppers walking in the lanes, but there isn’t much Target can do about that. :)

Google
Don't bother ordering anything online for store pickup. If the item is in stock, determine the location and walk back and pick it up yourself. With Target's goofy procedure, they message you, telling you your item is ready for pickup, and when you get to the store pickup counter, the Clerk, instead of handing you your item, walks back to wherever the item is in the store and brings it back to you while you're waiting at the counter. I don't see the convenience here. Strange!

Ewa Karwowska

Google
3 lanes opened with self service closed, 9 people in each lane. Person at check out chewing gum, didn’t acknowledge any customer. No thank you or bye. If you guys don’t care about your customers just say that. Walmart treatment with target prices.

Yelp
This store was stocked, clean and very busy! We stopped by here while out shopping and I wanted to get some water and some other things. The variety that this store offered was great. The prices are the same as all Target stores, but I make sure to use the coupons and discounts that I can. I used self checkout and so I didn't really interact with any employees. All and all, a good trip!
google avatar

J. Antonio H.

Yelp
The lines was at least 50 people in line for a self-checkout 2 cashiers waste of time

Yelp
I am not sure what I can add to the already posted reviews of this Target but I will give it a shot. The location is super convenient with tons of parking, and multiple dining choices in the immediate area. Personally, we are big fans of Target. It is always a pleasant destination for a little recreational shopping. The grandkids were thrilled to be going for the grandparents to buy them some presents. I grabbed a double shot of cappuccino at the in-store Starbucks on the way in. The selection of Lego boxes is the best you can find outside an actual Lego store. The 7- year old quickly selected two Lego sets, he was happy! The 4-year old went for a dolly and a dress, and a little pony. I needed some razors, (12 for $2.18). We added 2 children's books and a couple of slurpees on the way out. We all had a delightful hour, we got all of the things on our list. The prices and selection were great. The service was friendly and efficient. It may not be a 5-star experience, but gosh, what else can you ask for?

Yelp
I've been targeting a lot more visits to Target lately because this store definitely makes Barbi happy... it's one of her faves. This Target is way up on the Northwest Freeway and has a few issues, but on the other hand it's pretty good. I like it and then I also don't like it. Bae is a fan of Target but I never have been. I have a few issues with them, and we both think they are definitely a more bougie pricy version of Walmart. This location gets really busy and has some pretty rude people in the parking lot. You'll see that for yourself when you come up here.

Yelp
Very nice Target with very friendly employees. Store is clean and very easy to shop. Does not seem to be any stocking issues at this store

Yelp
not much of a selection here and overall poor value. staffs aren't particularly friendly

Yelp
I came here to get an item that the website said was in stock. I drove almost an hour and half to get there to find that they didn't have any in stock. When I asked an employee and showed her on my phone that it said in stock her reply was, "yeah that happens all the time but we don't have it." I bought some cleaning products that I needed and when I got home realized they forgot one of my bags. The incompetencies at this store are unacceptable. This was my one and only visit to a Target

Jeff M.

Yelp
not sure what the lady's problem was but one of the ladies working the cashier was rude for no reason starbucks must've made her drink wrong crystal is one of the nice ones whoever was working the other cashier was rude definitely an older woman prolly 30-40s like maybe she mad she's been working at retail stores her whole life

Yelp
This is our local Target, and I have always liked this one because there are always less people than the one on Taylor. I was here for about 20 minutes and I saw 5 people either completely not wearing a mask or had their mask under their chin. I mentioned this to the cashier, and she said that it happens all the time that People walk in and refuse to wear a mask. I am a pregnant woman, and I try my best to be very safe. This was so upsetting, not just for me, but for the employees who have to expose themselves to people who refuse to wear a mask but are still invited to enter the store. This is poor management.
google avatar

Olivia H.

Yelp
I'm 32 weeks pregnant and waited 30 Minutes for someone to help me with strollers. The lady I asked to help me was packing baby things away and seemed so annoyed that I asked! Eventually someone came but had no idea how to help me. I left and am going some where else. So disappointed Target!

Yelp
Its Target. Depending on when you go it can be in order, other times it's been a total disaster zone. And no I'm not talking about only weekends, back to school or holiday season. Not sure if they stay understaffed, but they really could use some help in their clothing area. Can only imagine the $$ they lose by having to damage out items. Almost every visit I've stepped on or rolled over merchandise. The self check out here seems to work better than some of the other locations. For the most part the staff has been nice. Had a handful of moments with attitudes, but not the bulk of my visits. To me this is a good location if you're in the area & know what you want. If you've got a little extra time to shop, you may even find a great steal on clearance items. Bought my niece 2 nice sized velvet-ish storage pieces for like $15. Yelp on!

Emily G.

Yelp
Typically the items so purchased had no issue ever however I order PHO BROTH and it came opened TWO OF THEM and all the said was to refund my money like No I wanted to cook and use this NOW I have to drive over there again and get it. I'm pissed.

Yelp
There's nowhere better to shop for everything I need for the house or work than Target. It's conveniently located off NW Freeway and near Beltway. I call this as a convenient + department store. They kept everything stocked and I never said "I can't find it." Another thing worth mentioning is their accuracy with the inventory. When I use the Target app for my iPhone, I could see the things I want at a precise location and their availability. I have challenges with a few stores in California. Thank goodness for the free wifi. It works 100% of time when I connect. I love it. I could use the app to pull up my shopping lists and see what's new while touching the merchandise. With occasional glitches, I still think the staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend everyone to shop here.

Yelp
This is my local neighborhood Target and I shop here a lot. They have a small, but decently stocked grocery section at the back of the store with good produce, coffee and bread products. This neighborhood has a significant Hispanic population so you can get Mexican sodas, foods and snacks. I've never had an issue with customer service. If the registers are crowded they will even check you out there. This is less of an issue now that they self-serve registers are there. The employees are very courteous and friendly, including those at the CVS Pharmacy. The pharmacists greet you by name and have helped my sister and myself get special deals on prescriptions to save money. Today I was buying a few items and the checker named Alice asked my name and noted that she sees me there shopping a lot. She was cheerful and friendly. I really like this Target, especially for its employees.
google avatar

Yelp
This Target is a mess. I was attempting self checkout nothing scanning properly. There was parking if you brave 290 . Customer service is not present. If you need a Target there are better options.

Yelp
After purchasing these shoes 2 days ago from this very store. I went in to return them IN THE SAME CONDITION I BOUGHT THEM IN PLASTIC AND ALL. Was told by Ngoi and Ariana that they looked WORN and ran over. That they would not accept them back. Neither one of these ladies thought of me enough to even go get another associate or manager to look at the shoes. I simply asked them if I had worn these then how did I get the tags and plastic back on them? I felt disrespected and not valued as a Target customer. I bet I wouldn't have been treated like this at Walmart. Further I felt compassion or empathy for the fact that I had scouted these shoes out since last month. When I came in and saw that they were still there I bought them. Thinking that they would fit and they didn't. I was looked at as if I were a crook or criminal. Really Target?
google avatar

Eddie S.

Yelp
At this time of posting, if you can survive the construction of 290 then you've barely made it here with your sanity. Here you can relax and do your leisure shopping without the ugliness of the modern troll Walmart customers. You will of course like all Targets pay a little more but it is worth the few cents or dimes difference to come to this particular upgraded store that has not gotten a bad experience jolt from me yet. Associates are rarely around when you need help but on the other side of the coin if you happen to find one here a majority of the times they are somewhat glad to assist you.

Yelp
This newly redesigned Target will make you wonder around for a little bit and try to figure out where everything is. The gray and white decor makes the store feel high end, but Target it still providing the deals! For example, I perused the womens section to see people crowding around the clearance section. Pretty nice selection to choose from (and orgqnized may I add), but I unfortunately did not get a chance to look too long due to an appointment. My main focus was to get earrings backs from the jewelry section, but they really dont have one. I meanx they do sell jewelry, but as far as a case and window display with all the good, expensive stuff.... Target does not. I though about just buying a few pairs of earrings and just sharing the backa of those for my current earrings, but that felt excessive to me. Passed on a purchase, but good deals through Cartwheel and a nice store to shop in will attract customers every single time.
google avatar

Ashley B.

Yelp
I found cheaper dog food here.5lbs of good stuff for $9 whereas walmart sold the same brand with only.2.5 lbs for $9.shame on wally world.

Alexander C.

Yelp
I am a gay man and have always felt welcomed to this Target. This location has video footage of people stealing my purchased item and said there was nothing they can do. No refund, exchange, nor discount on my missing item. I have been loyal to Target because they have been loyal to my community, but this is absolutely terrible customer service.
google avatar

Lisa G.

Yelp
Nothing but B.S. from this store, I love target but this store is the worst, mgt does not care if customers are upset. Customer service in this store is the absolute worst. I have had 3 terrible experiences in this store alone in the past month. It's very apparent that this store is hurting for money if they don't even follow target policy to the degree in which this store doesn't. They refused to price match an item that was placed in the wrong spot, and proceeded to reorganize the items so that the objects were all organized so it seemed like I was lying about the issue. All over $5!!! It's not the $$ but it's the principal of the fact that it should have been taken care of without question.
google avatar

Doris F.

Yelp
Today I shopped at this Target by way of self check out kiosk, I requested cash back and the machine didn't dispense quick enough,so I thought there was something wrong, so I left not realizing what happened went back to the store explaining what happened just so happens the manager was given the money by one of the team members and it was handed over to me. That's what I call customer service. Thanks Target!
google avatar

Cressana C.

Yelp
Wish I could give them a zero! Employees at the customer service desk are rude as ever! I placed a curbside pickup order. I was already in the area and I do not live close by so I decided to stop by to check if I could pick it up early. Asked the guy at the register and he didn't know so he asked a black woman for help. She said, "No we don't expedite orders! You just have to wait or You can just cancel it and go to the register and checkout yourself!" She didn't even try. Just said no. So I walked off and the item I ordered online was literally not even 10 steps away from the customer service counter. So I had to cancel my order online and now wait for a refund for the same sweater I purchased online! Mind you there were over 6 employees there doing curbside orders. I'm sure one of them could've taken 10 steps to get my Christmas sweater to save me the hassle of canceling my order and waiting for a refund and then having to go checkout myself! And yes I do know I was early. I placed the order at 1:09pm and arrived at the counter an hour earlier. If you're looking for great customer service do not come here! I thought I was at Walmart for a second!
google avatar

Rhoneshia W.

Yelp
So when are you not allowed to use a gift card. Do I have more then one transaction and no where did it state I could not use my gift card the same day. If I leave the store and come back you tell me since I came to your store and shopped today I can't use it. The little ass $5 don't compare to the amount of money I spend at Target. Going to Wal-Mart going forward your damn prices to high any way so why will I shop here anymore. Bad thing I I love the one by my job and shop every day well you have lost my business. Remember a bad experience is shared over a million times. And it out ways the good.
google avatar

Lyla Mary O.

Yelp
Warning! Be mindful of your safety at this Target specifically. The managers don't look out for customers. My sister and I were walking in and there was a dude by the door begging for money, he flickered something at my legs, I ran in and told the workers, the manager said that the guy was always out there and that they would go away. He didn't go outside and tell them to leave. I threatened to call 9-1-1, then he said he would check on things.....REALLY!!!!!!!!! They need to walk outside every so often and check on things...GEEZ!!!!!!!!
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
It's a Target... and a clean one at that. It's not super, their grocery section is small but sufficient for the day-buyer of foods. Their produce section is not for stocking-up, please note. For kitchen appliances you'll find a lot of the latest fashionable items from your favorite TV personalities. They have a great quality of crock-pots and slow cookers, coffee makers and serving dishes. My wife likes their coffee mugs and dish sets, i would know because when i finally like a set of dishes, i get another set as often as the seasons change (there are no warning labels for marriage). That, however, is the least of my worries. And i worry less when i need a quick gift for a party, wrapping paper, a gift bag and a card, or when I need to buy a some clothes for my toddler. I just can't shop for her with her present, or I'll be fighting a child at the check-out line over a toy that she's applied the kung-fu grip to.
google avatar

Rachelle F.

Yelp
If I can go into a store and only buy exactly what I need on multiple occasions, then I'm not sure if the store is really accomplishing it's goal. I can't say it's for lack of looking on my part. I'm always checking out the jewelry, shoes and endcaps for sales, but nevertheless, I've never purchased anything I didn't need from this Target. It's clean enough, but the bathrooms aren't particularly sparkling clean. I'm not impressed with the jewelry section. It's all so spread out, but the selection of items always leaves me wanting. The shoe selection is fair, and even carries some larger sizes, but on multiple locations I have found the wrong size in the wrong box. On a plus, I've never had to wait long at checkout.
google avatar

Lindsey D.

Yelp
Open til 11. Better than Walmart. Long lines sometimes depending on when you go. I don't end up here often, but if I do I shop clearance bc I can't afford their regular prices.
google avatar

Amber W.

Yelp
In a world full of discount chain stores, Target reigns supreme. They carry quality store brand products, have fairly comparable prices, and don't tend to attract the same people as Wal-Mart. I really have no problems with this location. Across the street is a Wal-Mart Supercenter with slightly lower prices, but Target offers a cleaner, better quality, less obnoxious shopping experience. One small complaint would be at (rare) times, there are not enough cashiers available, but you will see this at any discount store location. An added bonus is that they have started selling a more extensive selection of groceries, including limited produce. This location has pretty much everything you need and is a much less crazy environment than it's competitor across the street.
google avatar

Yelp
How does a pharmacy tech not no what green rubbing alcohol is???? What else doesn't she know? Yet she is handling people's medicine...smh this is horrible

Sue M.

Yelp
This is definitely not a consumer friendly store. I had a terrible experience at the customer service desk with an irate manager who walked away in the middle of my sentence. Looks like I'm walking away from this store permanently.
google avatar

Angel C.

Yelp
Terrible customer service. I thought I'd made a mistake and went to wal mart since there were only two registers open and people standing around.

LifeOf M.

Yelp
They are so nice and a very clean store very employe is working hard and getting their job done ! I saw no slacking at all and they help me look for the items I needed and recommend some.i recommend people to come in here and shop their needs
google avatar

Rickey M.

Yelp
Good customer service. Lacking in variety of inventory. Just not up to par to the others
google avatar

Amy B.

Yelp
This Target location has a great clothing section and selection. I did not see the staff does interacting with guests like they should. I was looking for a specific item and I had to go to electronics to ask for assistance. There is not enough cashiers for check out so you can leave the store.
google avatar

Greg F.

Yelp
Asking for help at this Target is like throwing rocks into the Grand Canyon -- its pointless and you'll be waiting a month of Sundays just to get some help. This particular Target doesn't seem as well stocked as other Targets in the area. Also, I've noticed that they do not rotate their fresh foods, so I've seen expired milk, cheese and other goodies well past their expiration dates. Also, they have this thing about keeping only 4 checkout lanes open and although they have 4 express aisles open, I have never seen them in use. Perhaps lean and mean is their operating model -- 5-6 customers in a line is too many for me, especially when the cashiers have to price check something or when the customer writes a check (who does that these days anyway). Meh, I'm usually out at the Target on FM 1960, which is better stocked and clean(er). Sorry for a bad review Target, but you deserved this one.

Catherine K.

Yelp
LOVE the CVS Pharmacy in this store. The entire staff is so professional and friendly. They always call you by name and are very prompt in getting your prescriptions filled. In my opinion they are the BEST pharmacy I have EVER utilized. Hats off to the entire CVS Pharmacy staff in this store!!
google avatar

Vanity K.

Yelp
This store is always a hot mess. Merchandise on the floor and on the rare occasion it's on a shelf, the shelf tag never matches. They are also regularly out of stock on just about everything. Today's example: baby socks, not a huge selection but even then they only had 0-6 Mos and 4T. Nothing in between. Its a disapointment everytime I go in this store. I always have such a high expectation of Target in general that I keep going to this store expecting improvement.
google avatar

Corey M.

Yelp
This is an alright Target, it's not particularly well stocked, nor staffed, but the problem is the staff they are downright rude let me explain... Took my son there to buy some action figures on his birthday, having recently gotten an imaginext or hasboro star wars millenium falcon playset so he was anxious to have R2D2 and C3po, we found the figures dropped them in the cart and off we went, did a little more shopping grocery section was completely thrashed out of nearly everything including what I had come there for, but oh well undaunted we went to check out. Get to the register and the checker (who was a nice guy -- the only one) went to ring up his figures and it rings up "do not sell until 9/4"... And he explained I can't sell this unless it rings up, he calls over the front end manager "Ace" some rotund African American guy who was completely discourteous grabbed it out of my son's hand and says "we can't sell you that", I'm aghast at this point and said "We didn't do anything wrong, it's on the shelves, it's priced, and should be for sale, get the manager please". Up saunters some African lady (from Africa) with the thickest accent imaginable darn near unintelligible and "No no no we can't sell ju dat" well I demand that you sell it to me, how am I going to explain to my son on his birthday that we can't buy that? She says sorry, takes the toy and walks away.. No let me get you a rain check, no courtesy no nothing just total surly and rude and walks off, this is Target's idea of customer service for you? You would think a manager would be trained to handle this, a customer is never wrong, and it's not her job to make it worse. Immediately called their corporate office and reported their behavior both "Ace" and the "African Lady" have no business working in customer service and should be fired, how dare you be so rude to my son and paying customers. Their customer service people agreed, and tried to make things right with a gift card (which we do appreciate). We'll really think twice about going back to this store again, being how poorly we were treated, poor checker guy apologized profusely and said they're way out of line for that, we don't blame him he was a good guy. So target is the only store who stocks items on the shelves that you just cannot buy and then when you call them on that they're going to be totally rude to you and your child(ren). I'll take my business elsewhere thank you...

Yelp
This is MY Target and I love it! While attending UH, I would go to the Target on Main near Old Spanish Trail, and while that one was nice because it's a Super Target, I still like this location best. I always find good sale racks here in clothes and in the pharmacy/beauty products section. I even recently got super excited because a whole aisle of office supplies and stationery was on sale. The location on San Felipe is OK too, but they don't seem to have as much on sale.
google avatar

Amy k.

Yelp
About the Pharmacy ONLY: Jennifer, the Pharmacist, and her team ROCK! Prescription fills & refills are the fastest in town. And, they are most helpful. And, they even smile and look you in the eye when they speak to you. Recently, I became one of the country's uninsured and freaked when my medication cost went over $600. Jennifer searched for discount plans and helped get my cost down to something I could actually afford that was less than my mortgage.

Abbas R.

Yelp
I can some up my experience in 2 words. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. My gosh there were some sale tags a day old. I was buying a bag off a rack with bunch of the exact same bags. I go to the cashier and she tells me the bag is $100. I was taken aback. I took her to the exact spot were I got it from. The tag said $35. The lady was like whoops seems someone forgot to take off the tags.i was like can you at least drop the price she was like nope and left me there. Target is way to expensive I'm going to go Walmart from now on. $100 for a backpack
google avatar

Mai S.

Yelp
better than walmart especially now that they have groceries...i remember when they didn't even have the flatbed scanners. good times. i think the service here is pretty slow. they take their time with pretty much everything, including answering calls and checking out, but they arent mean about it. they pretty much have all your basics. every time i come here i find what i need.
google avatar

Heather F.

Yelp
I love to walk around Target and fill my cart with things I don't actually need. Sadly this would not be my first choice Target to waste a hour in. It has your usual Target things like a slurpe machine and popcorn smell but compared to other Targets it is lacking in variety. My sister is constantly sending me pictures of things at her local Target and every time I go looking for it I come up empty handed. There pharmacy is reliable and the staff is super friendly but their make up section is lacking. They do have a food section which I can't remember if it comes standard in Target. I will forever be loyal to Target but if distance wasn't an issue this wouldn't be my first choice.
google avatar

Erika A.

Yelp
Love this Target! Always find everything I need all - in- one store. Way much better than Walmart. Great quality on everything. Never came across long lines either. Customer service is also a +
google avatar

Gavin B.

Yelp
As you would expect with many targets, checkout cues are very large and a high percentage of the time the sever is miserable and grumpy. However I give it a reasonable rating as the store itself is relatively clean and generally has a high volume of stock. The pharmacy can be hit or miss, depending on the chemist that's working.
google avatar

Evelia T.

Yelp
Clean location and it has everything you need. Plus you don't have to deal with the huge lines from Walmart (which is down the street). I stop by here once in a while when I have to pick up something quick.
google avatar

Kimberly A.

Yelp
I had no issues with this location. Very convenient to my lodging. All items were very easy to find and the store was very tidy.
google avatar

Carola M.

Yelp
I like this target I wish it was a super Target, but it is nice. I can find what I need in hat Target. The one thing I can say is that it is clean, and the aisles always in stock. I would of given it 5 stars, but everytime I go to this Target I really don't see any employees around interacting with the customers asking them if they need any help finding anything or greeting anyone. The clothes are not bad looking, and it is inexpensive. I would not mind having a whole closet full of Targets clothes.
