I'm feeling generous giving 2 stars...
I may just go back and change it.
I came in smiling, happy, getto looking as ever, but that's what yo get when you are redecorating a room and need a little storage. #Whatev.
Apparently, customer service relies on how well you are dressed or better yet, how posh you appear.
Workers on their phones literally ignore you when you ask them a question, especially when trying to find something. Then look right past you to help another lady, who just happened to be looking for the same exact thing as me...
Huh.
Even the sweet young mom asked why he skipped me, he responded... oh I guess I didn't see her as he pointed to me, never acknowledging my presence, but just as a response to the sweet lady.
Well... that's rude. But ok.
Then to checkout... watching and expecting the man barely able to walk, probably served in Vietnam, ask for the military discount (as advertised) for Veterans Day, was told that he needed to download an app and fill out a form and then wait 2-3 days for approval. #SayWhat?
He said, here's my identification... to deaf ears.
If you are giving a military discount, all service members have an ID. Why make it complicated?
It is biased and prejudiced to assume that everyone has a smartphone and can do that. If you say you offer a veteran a discount, do it. Don't make them jump through hoops. They've been through enough. Or just don't offer a discount.
Dissing on Veterans hits a HUGE sore spot for me.
After all that and a manager, they would NOT give him the discount on his items.
Needless to say, I bought his 4 items and will sincerely think long and hard before coming back to a Target. #DoBetter #Simplify #HonorYourAdvertisementsWithoitStipulations.
