Google
The store was clean. The employees I interacted with were amazing and very friendly. I'm very knowledgeable. Put the self checkout lady made me feel very uncomfortable. She hovered over me as though I was stealing something and that was not okay. I get you have to keep an eye out for people who are stealing, but not every customer that comes through that door is a thief. And to be treated that way, very not cool.

Google
Target have some wonderful products but I’m getting so tired of never being able to get my size which is small or medium. They always seem to have extra small and Large xxx etc… never enough of the popular sizes. Also, their toilet facilities are shameful. Always dirty, old and seriously need updating. Puts me off going there.

Rick R.

Google
This store has the most outrageous prices I've ever seen! Tariffs have increased the price of everything but Target has taken it to the extreme. What a disappointment. What is even more disappointing is that Target allows ATT salespeople to pester their customers. Shame on this store.

Google
I went in for earbuds.. a young African American woman approached n offered help..she was wearing an ATnT shirt so I didn't know she worked there..I want management to know this is the kindest most attentive person with whom I've ever dealt..I was overwhelmed....please let her know n acknowledge...from this point forward..I buy all my cat food there and other necessity....People make all the difference...You let her go and I got oceanfront property in Nebraska to sell you 😉

Google
This store is all over the place small and disorganized hardly even Christmas stuff in the back the section is so small. Hopefully the one on Signal Butte & Southern is a hundred times better than this dump when it opens up.

Google
This store has the best staff and is always clean when I'm there. Definitely my go to store!

Jason L.

Google
Kevin, electronics is a really good guy. Probably the best Target worker I've met

Patricia S.

Google
Very clean store the people working there are helpful if you have questions!

Yelp
Like every Target I've ever been to, it's big & offers just about everything, only set up different. Good service, decent selection, & you get your money's worth value wise.

Yelp
Hanging out with my little cousin today--we came here to shop after having lunch. I love Target, but I had a really disappointing experience at this location. My little cousin is a minor, and she wandered away from me. When I turned around and didn't see her, I naturally panicked. I walked through the store searching for her and calling her name, clearly distressed, and not a single employee offered to help. They just watched as I scrambled around looking for her. No one asked if I needed assistance or even tried to help me look. I can see why Target emphasizes customer service and encourages employees to smile more--because I've never encountered such a cold and unhelpful group of staff in my life. ‍ It completely ruined my shopping experience. Once I finally tracked my little cousin down--and gave her the third degree out of love and fear--I didn't even feel like staying in the store anymore, so we left. I'm still flabbergasted at how the staff stared at me, some even walking right past me, without offering a single word of reassurance or support. I've already informed her parents and she's been addressed, but that's irrelevant to the lack of empathy shown by the employees. There's plenty of parking onsite

Yelp
It takes a lot to make me not like a Target... This location is definitely smaller with less selection. That's fine, I understand that not all Targets are created equally. What is not fine is that it just generally sloppy and not nicely kept. The restrooms are dirty, the displays are shabby and it isn't up to Target standards in my experience. If I have a choice, I will skip this location and visit one of the other (nicer) ones in the area.
google avatar

Ashley D.

Yelp
I love this Target since it's so close to home for me.. but as I'm visiting other stores, I am noticing more and more how the selection is limited and they unfortunately don't have all of the same big, cool items as the other newer locations do. There's another one going to be opening up next year a few miles from my house and we'll likely switch to that location as our go to
google avatar

Jenna M.

Yelp
I haven't been to this target in a while and I'm glad. I won't be back to this one. EVERYTHING is locked up. $10 headphones even and you can't find an employee anywhere to help you.

Yelp
Amazing place love this store Always good prices and good finds Took Mom here she was amazed

Yelp
This is the closest Target to my parents so it's the usual spot when they need a Target trip, but after a recent stop we will be going to other locations. The overall cleanliness of this store is always lacking. Dusty shelves or racks in the clothing department, food spills in grocery, and a messy beauty display are common occurrences when we come. The worst of all however was our recent trip when my mom and I used the restrooms. Three of five stalls were so backed up they couldn't be flushed, the smell was awful, and both trash cans were overflowing with paper towels all only 4 hours after opening. It was very clear that they had not been keeping up on their routine bathrooms checks and it was just very offputting. I don't usually judge a place on their bathroom alone but combined with consistently dirty/unkept areas elsewhere throughout the store, I'll be making it a point to avoid this location from now on.

Suzann V.

Yelp
My refund experience at the Mesa East Power Rd location was disappointing. The guest service counter was unattended, and the brutish speaking, very short dark hair lady associate who eventually helped was curt, dismissive, and distracted--assisting others and playing with a baby in a customer's cart. When the card reader failed, my polite suggestion to try another register was abruptly rejected. Tapping my card finally worked, but she offered no apology or thanks. A manager should speak with her about professional conduct and customer service standards.

Yelp
TERRIBLE custom service! Their hours clearly state 7am. We drove 30 minutes out of the way to get my son his birthday shirt. We arrive and the gentleman at the door was extremely condescending and rude. Don't even get me started on the his "boss" that he called "DONT LET CUSTOMERS TALK TO ME ON THE OHONE." I'm sorry that YOU guys posted incorrect hours and are not even going to try and make it right. HORRIBLE
google avatar

Betty L.

Yelp
Target has great products. I especially like the little happy birthday candles. The candles are each letter of the words happy birthday. The Wilson sprinkles are about $2.11 which is an okay price. Would be nice if that were a little less. Walmart is supposed to have a low price guarantee though. They also have number candles for about the dollars. These number candles are a bit more contemporary. I remember the old chunky ones that lasted for years. They probably could be kept burning all night. These new cuter candles seem scrawny but more updated. The does baking cups are about a dollar fifty. These baking cups are colored with polka dots. They also have gel food coloring and other baking supplies to make your cookies or cakes pretty.

Yelp
This store has never been good on the night side. The only time the store runs correctly is when the store manager is working. And that's only because that's when the store is fully staffed and over staffed. And as everyone knows, the store manager doesn't work the night side. I went in there tonight and when I went to check out it was a big cluster. The self checkout line was so long it was stupid. The one checkout lane that was open was just as bad. It's time for management to operate the store the way the customers need it to run for them and not the way to just make the store manager look good on her shift. On the bright side the service desk guy finally came out and had another register open and took orders at the service desk. Just remember there is other options in this area, the people don't need this Target, this Target and mangers need the customers. I still love the concept of Target and will always go but it doesn't have to be this one. I pass by 3 going home from work.

Bobbi H.

Yelp
I love Target, despite the raise in prices on everything. But definitely ruined my day with such terrible customer service at checkout. The cashier, ANNESSA, was rude and had zero customer service. No greeting, no words were exchanged until I asked her how her day was, and only got "alright" in response. Scanning groceries is not laborious or difficult work. The minimum you can do is greet someone and hold any form of eye contact.
google avatar

Gus R.

Yelp
Went here to do some after Christmas shopping, found some cool stuff. It's Target, who doesn't go there for one thing and doesn't walk out with at least three more things. Store is ok, little messy but again that's after Christmas time shopping for ya! That staff was friendly, helpful and are doing the best they can during the holiday season. They are the main reason I am giving this place a 5 star.
google avatar

Thomas B.

Yelp
Joey the manager on duty was flat rude. I have never had bad service at a Target till today. Find a better location!

K ..

Yelp
They hire crackheads who treat customers like thieves . Was in there with my family and she acted like we were stealing which we were not! And she was double and triple scanning items and when told she was she snapped and yelled at us to let her do her job and when told she was doing her job wrong she proceeded to get very rude and yell at us again that she needed to do her job and triple scanned an item at which point me and my family left at that point. If I could give zero stars I would

Yelp
I stopped in here several times while visiting the Gilbert area. Each time I found the store well organized and clean. The produce section was much better than expected, and there is also a nice selection of grab and go sandwich and salad items available. Customer service was friendly. Bonus Starbucks located in the store. Parking is a breeze. One strange thing about the parking lot there and elsewhere in the Phoenix area: they blast music over loudspeakers in the lots. Kind of strange.
google avatar

Lizzie B.

Yelp
Came here looking for some supplies during the COVID-19 drama. I was shocked at how nice and clean this store was! I avoid Targets at all costs because they are usually a total mess. I was able to find most of what I was looking for and there weren't many people in the store, which made shopping very nice. 5 stars for being clean!
google avatar

Dawnelise A.

Yelp
I've never been so stressed inside a store as I was inside yours. Your return area is a nightmare. It's like a cul-de-sac with no exit just one way in one way out. Plus the area is super small. You have tons of people in line, on top of that you have sales associates weaving in and out of people. It was so crowded there and I was so stressed that I will not be shopping at your store anymore. I did curbside pick up but I had to return things and just for that fact alone I will not go back and order from your store. Not until your return area is safer.

Yelp
Don't ever file a fraud complaint and expect them to get it right! Filed a fraud complaint at the beginning of Jan for fraud charges. In my complaint, advised them that I wasn't even in the country when these charges were made. So fast forward almost four months. I get a letter from target today advising me that they've denied my fraud charges. The reasons they gave was that "items were ordered on your phone, delivered to your address." Now I didn't even take my cellphone with me as I have a burner phone for out of country travels I further explained to them that it was most likely my ex roommate or one of her friends. Do, I call the fraud department and of course they have to verify who you are so I go thru the process, get transferred to the fraud department, ask for a supervisor, then get disconnected! So I call back and go thru the entire process all over again. They transfer me to the fraud department abd the girl says to me, "oh, you wanna know why your account is frozen."? I said, I'm not calling to unfreeze my account if it's frozen, I'm calling about the "target Mastercard" which is what it says in the letter. Only problem is that I've never had a target Mastercard. It's a target red card. These idiots don't even know which card they gave me!!! I want to work here. I'd never have to use my brain. Do I finally get a supervisor and she tells me I can appeal it but since I know who did this, target is requiring a police report. I said to the supervisor, "why wasn't I told this when I originally filed the fraud claim ? Also let her know that there is no way for me or anyone else to know for sure that it was my roommate or her friends." I told her I could not sccuse someone if I didn't see the crime occur. Ugh, it's just unbelievable how stupid these people really are. She's sending me an appeal form in the mail, of course becsusr sending it thru email would be just too convenient abd only a smart person could figure that out. I'm going to close this ridiculous account after I run thru more hoops for target. I think I can manage to not have a target card abd hang on thru life just fine.

Yelp
I went into the Starbucks at this Target a few minutes ago. I just noticed that their were bugs in my drink, and I attempted calling several times to no avail. This place is a joke and needs to be shut down.
google avatar

Jennifer K.

Yelp
Super disappointed by what a mess this target was, especially so early in the morning!! Several employees standing around chatting instead of working. Clothing racks and tables were all mixed up - it felt more like a Ross than a Target.
google avatar

Danielle K.

Yelp
Love everything about TARGET! But I stood at self check out trying to figure out my cartwheel app and how to apply at kiosk and no one came to my aid! =/ I was in a hurry to check out or i would have just went to a regular line. But I figured it out! Lol but always a great time at Target leaving with more then I need! Lol
google avatar

Kimberly W.

Yelp
I have shopped at this Target since, well since I can even remember. Within the past year, they have adopted a practice of following you around the store. Not helping or asking if you need help, just hovering nearby watching you shop. It's the most uncomfortable experience! Except when you actually need something, most of the associates are just standing around chatting with each other and not actually working. I used to love shopping at Target, but the uncomfortable atmosphere they are promoting by hovering and following people around has solidified my choice to take my money elsewhere, which is unfortunate.
google avatar

Lee Ann W.

Yelp
Even thought I love Target in general, this is not my favorite place to go. This particular store is very hard to get into. People have no respect in the parking lot. Most of the time the store is very clean, however when you need something it's hard to find someone to help you out. Now that they have started the Food Department, I am eager to see how that goes. I will post and update later.

Yelp
According to my wife this is THE.BEST.STORE.EVER. To be honest, I can't say that I disagree. They've really got everything, like everything. Need groceries? They've got 'em. In a pinch and need a quick gift? Yep, Target's got your back. Office supplies? Yep. Kids clothes? Well, maybe they don't because they've all found their way to my kids closet.... I will say, due to the fact I am a creature of habit, the new remodel is taking some getting used to. I can't seem to find a thing without searching but it'll only be a matter of time before this is the new normal, I'm sure. One thing that makes me pleased to shop here though is a specific situation I encountered involving a Target cafe employee. The poor girl behind the counter was being berated by a customer... she (the customer) was complaining about being charged a few cents for a water cup... the employee tried to explain to her that it was just policy and she apologized but the customer continued to act like a monster. After some time the customer moved on and I saw the employee scurry to the back and started to cry. Two employees and a manager came over and consoled her. The manager met the customer by the tables and explained to her the store policy and completely supported the employee. THIS is why businesses work. I will always support a company that supports their employees. Just one more reason to love Target apparently.

Yelp
This is by far the most organized target I've been to. Just go to the women's clearance section to see what I mean. Everything is hung in its appropriate area, no xl maternity item in the xs rack. It's laid out like just about every other target, but it's not a cluster like most targets. We came in for some last minute sports gear for the boys (quick w/e mudrun trip) & beer/wine. They have a decent champagne selection...when did target get so fancy??
google avatar

Gene T.

Yelp
This store is about as nice as Target stores go. My wife uses her cartwheel and her Target credit card to rack up big savings. This isn't a super Target, but they have a nice selection of groceries.
google avatar

Patrick S.

Yelp
I came here for a specific foam ball launcher which is specific to target and found it for a possible Xmas gift. It was expensive but not surprising as it is exclusively sold at Target. However I was impressed with the beer selection and picked up some Blue Moon Mango which I enjoyed after shopping for stuff. Employees were friendly and store was clean. Definitely a good Target store.
google avatar

Tammy B.

Yelp
Smaller target with well-organized aisles and authentically friendly staff. No lines backed up; getting through is a breeze as they call cashiers to open lanes instead of herding everyone like cattle through self-checkout (leaving that open for the people who want it).

Geri A.

Yelp
The customer service in this target is really unfortunate. I had a really unsatisfactory experience with two of the "managers" in customer service. I was so upset that I had to call the customer service corporate. They were very helpful as well and understood my frustration at the store level. I hope these people realize that they need us more than we need them!
google avatar

Hillary T.

Yelp
This is my preferred Target location. This store has a nice layout, is not overly busy, and most of the employees are friendly. The store is clean and bright, with a Starbucks and a small grocery area. If you use the Target Cartwheel app, you can save money, but I've noticed they don't always have the items you select on cartwheel, but it's really not a big deal.
google avatar

Yelp
This one star is specifically for IRENE the cashier. She was INCREDIBLY RUDE and profiling. I would also say probably racist bc she was nice to the people in front of us. If you have a problem with a PAYING CUSTOMER you should NOT be in retail! First incident: she placed the video game I bought for my brother in the bag directly without taking off the security cover. I notified her of doing this, and she said what do you want me to do about it? I want you to remove it so I won't exit the store with a problem! It's like she had never done it in her life. She had to insert my DOB so I handed her my license bc she asked me for it. She then threw it across the counter at me instead of handing it to me directly. Second incident: I had a coupon for coffee, and she threw it at me saying is this yours? Yes, it is mine. And I wanted you to scan it so I can use it, idiot. Third incident: I inserted my card and she yelled at me saying to not remove it. I know. I can read, and this isn't my first time purchasing anything with the new chip. Plus, it CLEARLY says in English "please do not remove your card." Fourth incident: she tried offering me a job as if I'm not employed. Yes, I may look like I've had a rough week but that's because I work 12.5 hour shifts at the hospital. She also said this was her second job so I can have another. Hahahahahahahahaha! Classic. I guess I look like someone who can't afford my lifestyle and need a second job! Sorry, woman. I thought of that before I graduated college. Irene is the greatest target employee ever. Insert sarcasm here. I wish to never come across her customer service. Ever again. And I go to target weekly.
google avatar

Lisa K.

Yelp
I may never shop target again. Horrible customer service. Needed my red card number and no one in the store could help me. Maybe it is holidays but I have never experienced a larger group of complete turkeys.
google avatar

Yelp
I like Target and pick Target over other stores. However I recently visited this Target and was was treated rudely by a cashier. When I asked to speak to the manager, a young man that was maybe 20 identified himself as the store manager in charge. His name was Andy. I said I wanted to speak to the real manager, and asked who that was. He said a woman named Diedra who was on lunch and he wasn't going to bother her. I then proceeded to explain my complaint and he said, so what she just clocked out and went home. He didn't think there was an issue now, since she wasn't there. He then told me if I didn't like their service that there were plenty of other stores I could shop at. This is a manager for Target ? They must be desperate for managers !!!

Marcia F.

Yelp
I stopped at Target to pick up a baby safety gate. Associate Luis was a wonderful help. Keep up the good work. Haven't seen such great service in a long time. Thank you again!

C D.

Yelp
Just left and everyone was so nice and helpful from the Starbucks baristas to pharmacy to the employee helping me find products to finally the employee at self checkout. I've had great experiences with their curbside pickup as well!
google avatar

George F.

Yelp
My favorite place on earth... Target! They have a Starbucks inside so of course I got me a coffee before my shopping extravaganza. Bring on the bargains!

Angela H.

Yelp
Nancy at this location is the rudest person I've ever encountered. Clearly working in customer service isn't helping her with her customer service. I think some retraining needs to be done in the way she speaks and treats customers.
google avatar

Katrina B.

Yelp
This location is seriously lacking in customer service. I've been trying for weeks to get my son a desired gift stopping in at this store every day for a week. I have the item number and asked someone with a scanner to find it. Finally on 11/26 they told me they would be putting it out on 11/27. 11/27 rolls around and I walk up ready to ask for the item and the guy in electronics tells me "yeah, we are in the process of putting things out" I said ok, should I wait then? He said no, I don't know when we will get to that one. So ... you have a customer wanting to buy something specific and know where it is, but since you're busy, you send the customer away? The store was empty as I showed up when it opened. This target is not only lacking in customer service but also human decency. Shame on you.

Steve M.

Yelp
Targets website and mobile app showed they had a scooter I wanted in store for $38. I drove out of my way to get it, but I couldnt find it in the store. I asked several people for help - Linday, Anna, Katie - none went into the back to look for it. They verified the store price was $38.99 but refused to help and refused to order it online for the store price. I then called target help - I wasted 30 minutes on the phone for them to say at the end they couldnt do anything, even though they verified targets website still shows the scooter in stock at that store. This is false advertising. I will file a complaint with my state attorney general. You can't advertise as something in stock then say you can't find it. If it's not in stock then update your website so people don't waste time visiting a store looking for a ghost item. I personally think the employees are keeping it for themselves. Needless to say I will never go to this store again!

Ray M.

Yelp
BUYER BEWARE-NEVER ORDER ON-LINE FROM THIS STORE!!! My wife and I purchased (4) 43" Flat Screen TV's on line, they were not due in stock until 11/30, we received one email yesterday that they were in to pickup and we could not pick up that day. Contacted them the following day to arrange pickup and they cancelled our order! They would not honor the advertised price and were very rude on the phone. I will never buy anything again form this store...BUYER BEWARE!!! P.s. The only reason we gave them a "one star" rating is because of the competitive price...which they never honored.

Ashley S.

Yelp
My daughter and I came shopping here. We had left our cart with folded clothes, a picture frame and some cards right outside the dressing room. Apparently someone had taken the cart and threw our stuff out somewhere in the store or purchased them. Three employees helped us for around half an hour to find our items because some of them were the last of their kind, including a graduation outfit for my daughter. Their names were Alma, Samiah and Noah. They went above and beyond and were very helpful. We really appreciated all their help and just wanted to say although we couldn't find the picture frame and the card that we were using for my sons wedding and were the last ones, this was the best store experience we have had!
google avatar

Becky R.

Yelp
I don't love this target. It just feels old and dirty to me. There's always trash in the parking lot. I have recently canceled my red card and discontinued shopping at target due to the bathroom situation. I'm highly disappointed: to make a small number of people feel comfortable you alienate the masses! And then refuse to try & make it right. I'm sad I really used to love target. I wish them well.
google avatar

Arman P.

Yelp
I don't think there is anyways to leave this place without buying more than one thing. The clearance items are funny tho they make it look like it's super cheap when really it like 50 cents off the normal price. All in all it's target and you can't have anything bad to say..anything is better than wal-mart

Liz S.

Yelp
I just have to comment on an employee that let me know it was her first day. She was very sweet and helpful! Olivia S. New Team Member was on her badge. She looked me in the eye when she spoke, she smiled and didnt make me feel rushed. I wish her well as an employee at Target! Every store needs employees like Olivia S.
google avatar

Philip T.

Yelp
Target corp needs to take a look at this location. It's way past its prime. Feels more like a Walmart. I suggest you Yelp for another Target in your area and stay away from this one.
google avatar

Irene T.

Yelp
Just like every other target its very neat and easy to find things you need. The downside is you always spend more than you intend to.
google avatar

Shannon B.

Yelp
target is a step up from Walmart. better quality. better inventory. better employees. one stop shop in most cases. This location was clean and had stocked shelves.

David C.

Yelp
There are so many cameras right in your face in the store now it's ridiculous! There aren't any in your face cameras when you shop online so I guess they don't want you in here. Yes it's a few days after Christmas but this place is still a disaster.
