Yes, it's a big box store, but I love Target! The ability to pick up new workout clothes, shampoo, cleaning products, snacks, and a few lemons and limes On one stop is appealing. There are always cool on trend items in the home decor area If you want something inexpensive, like a faux succulent or textured pillow, to perk up your space.
My Target runs are usually for something specific but I peruse the entire store anyway because you never know what you will discover. That is the fun of going to Target!
Today I needed Fever Tree tonic for the best Gin & Tonic ever when paired with Hendricks gin. While other stores were out, my Target had it buy one, get one 50% off. For the $4.99 price point of this high end tonic, the sale makes it doable.
As usual, I picked up lots of other items while I was there: conditioner, limes to go with my G&T, some melamine bowls for outdoors, some red, white and blue cocktail napkins on sale that I will use for Labor Day, and some dark chocolate chips since I still seem to be doing a lot of baking even though we are 4 months into Pandemic!
This Is not my "usual" location as I prefer the mini-Target in SE Powell, which is closer to my house even though I live in the west side. This Target is the large, one floor footprint. It is usually crowded and the parking area can be maddening. I avoid this by parking on the side where it seems more civilized.
Hand sanitizer provided, they require masks and the employees are wearing them too. They ask you to practice social distancing but people in a Target get in a zone so you need to be the one looking out for your own space.
Staff is friendly, helpful lines move quickly. Store is organized, well stocked and clean. All good.
