The 10 Best Lunch Spots In Holborn - London - The Infatuation

"If your stomach is ever rumbling walking down Theobald’s Road, then you should pat it in knowing appreciation. This is an excellent stretch of London to find some food. Fish and chips, beef rendang, and big plate chicken are all within a stone's throw of each other. Tarim is where you’ll find the latter. The Uyghur restaurant is from the same people as Dilara and although this spot isn’t quite as homely, it’s still a good choice for some handmade leghmen. Just remember to ask for everything spicy." - rianne shlebak, jake missing

The Best Restaurants In Bloomsbury And Holborn - London - The Infatuation

"You’ll find big plate chicken, cumin-rubbed lamb skewers, and soft boiled dumplings at Tarim. The Uyghur restaurant is from the same people as Dilara in Finsbury Park and although this spot isn’t quite as homely, it’s still a good choice for some hand-pulled leghmen noodles and more. Just remember to ask for everything spicy. Not the polite kind of spicy either." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing

Really delicious food, excellent range of spiciness, and overall a very friendly environment. There is not a large amount of space, so if you know you'll be going during peak hours, it would be best to have a reservation ahead of time. Would especially recommend any of the noodle-based dishes as the noodles tasted amazing!

Very busy and great customer service. Noodles were great and good if you like the mouth numbing spice. I had to give one star less as the samsa was reheated in the microwave. The lamb kebab was very tasty. The complimentary rice pudding was a good way to cool down the mouth

Loved everything we ordered, the big plate chicken was full of flavor, super tender and perfect with the handmade noodles. The stir-fried lamb noodles were also delicious, chewy noodles, generous meat portions, and a great balance of spices. Portions are big, the staff are really friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. If you’re looking for authentic Xinjiang cuisine in town, this is the place. Highly recommend!

Interesting cuisine. The noodle dishes are really excellent and very reasonably priced (for being London). I thought the kebab-style dishes were not quite as good, being more expensive and underwhelming. Three of the dishes we wanted to order weren't available when we visited, but we appreciated the free rice pudding. It's a very good restaurant and well above average, but not quite 5 stars.

Great meal - worth a stop or going out of your way. Food for value is hard to beat. My Husband and I arrived during Friday night dinner rush with no reservation and it was packed! The proprietor said she had a 4 top that we could split with a young couple who had also just arrived which we all agreed to. It was delicious! Cucumber salad was perfectly seasoned and refreshing. Uyghur skewers were tender with great chew and spice. Bread was also chewy amazing. The spicy chicken with bang bang noodles was outrageously good. Noodles were a perfect texture, chicken was succulent and dish was balanced with spice, sweet and sour. Rice pudding given to all for desert. I am seriously thinking about going back for lunch tomorrow to try the lamb pie. . .

Service was exceptional. Staff was friendly, courteous and even gave us a rice pudding. Fried rice noodle was great. Uyghur kebab was tasty. Highly recommend this place for anyone. Prices were also reasonable.

Loved it! We'll definitely be back! I’m not usually one to try something totally different, but this place really won us over – my husband and I were both super impressed. We’ve been coming back every few weeks since. Our top pick is the Qoruma – seriously tasty! The tea’s also worth mentioning – smelled amazing and tasted just as good. The place is big, clean, has a toilet (always a plus!), and the location’s great too. Everyone I’ve told about it has been really happy with it as well. Can totally recommend!
