If you haven’t explored the vibrant world of Uyghur cuisine yet, consider this your official sign to book a table! We stumbled upon this gem during our London trip, and let’s just say our taste buds are still doing a happy dance.
We kicked things off with the Tugre (dumplings). These aren't just your average dumplings; they were perfectly pleated pockets of joy. Thin dough, juicy filling, and that authentic "melt-in-your-mouth" texture that tells you everything is made with love topped with savory sauce.
For the main event, we went big with the Tarim Special Platter. Talk about a "wow" factor! This dish is an absolute mountain of flavor—fragrant spices, tender lamb meats, chicken and perfectly cooked rice. It is truly mouthwatering and honestly massive; it could easily satisfy a hungry squad of 5 people!
Just when we thought we couldn't eat another bite, the manager surprised us with complimentary Rice Pudding and Baklava.
Beyond the food, the hospitality was 10/10. The manager and the waiting staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful, guiding us through the menu since it was our first time trying Uyghur food. They made us feel like family from the moment we walked in.
Kudos to Tarim! We’re definitely returning to try some other dishes on the menu!
