Tarn Thong Coconut Custard

We ordered mango sticky rice from here because the coconut custard was out of stock. It was really tasty and interesting. We met Nan the manager of this place and he was very kind and he helped us understand about the place and about the different kind of mangos and rice. The taste was really tasty. We highly recommend and hopefully will return there for the coconut custard

“Kanom Tuay” is a simple Thai dessert of steamed coconut top with the base of sugarcane in a small cup. This place has its unique-style from Chonburi Province but newly opened store in Bangkok. Freshly made daily. Recommended. Only 7THB per cup or 14THB for a pair (less than 0.50USD).

Top coconut milk layer is so smooth and creamy. The bottom layer is Palm sugar, taste different from white sugar. Good taste but might need to wait long queue.

Walk past after breakfast. Took a chance to try it. Love the coconut custard. A hint of saltiness and just right sweetness. Great start to the day!

This is definitely the best coconut custard pudding place in the whole world! I stumbled on the shop last year when they had the shop on the main road and tried a few just at the spot and fell in love. I couldn’t forget the taste and was dreaming about eating them again for a year until today! They now have a little seating area where you can have the fresh custard pudding with complementary tea. I’ve tried coconut custard puddings from other businesses but none of them are as good as those ones from Tarn Thong. I can tell they care about the quality of ingredients and make with heart. I don’t know when I can come back to Bangkok but when I do, I know I’ll pay a visit to the shop for sure!! To me, Tarn Thong is a must visit in the area than Jok Prince :)

The place is gone. Went on 2 different weekends and nothing . Got to try the coconut custard from the business across the alley. Was very good
