The 38 Best Restaurants in Seoul, South Korea - Eater

"Chad Robertson’s San Francisco icon, Tartine Bakery, chose Seoul as its second home, opening its first global outpost in 2018; the city now has six locations. The Dosan branch shares space with Kinfolk Lounge, the independent lifestyle magazine’s first physical space, in a two-story glass-walled building that boasts a beautiful seating area with a courtyard and a terrace. Enjoy Tartine classics such as sourdough and banana cream pie with specialty coffee while reading a Kinfolk magazine. The space also hosts various pop-ups and exhibitions, so check out the website for current events." - Matty Kim

Nestled near the Dosan Park in Apkujong, a very nice little bakery with coffee. Spacious seating, good offering of baked goods, sandwiches, etc., and, most important for any location in a massive city like Seoul, valet parking. I had the spring onion grilled sandwich and it was fantastic. And the coffee was well above average. Definitely worth coming back.

Tasty and relaxing place for foreigners. The lemon soda is super good here, so refreshing. Cake lemon meringue is also delicious 😋

Apparently this bakery is from San Francisco, and is now in Gangnam, Seoul as well. The place was absolutely beautiful, and their brunch selections were great. Some of the special menu was a fusion of Korean and American flavors, which was really interesting. There are some objects, books, and flowers that you can buy as well.

Extremely delicious desserts with great atmosphere and excellent service. I loved the lemon tart and highly recommend the place! Plus, there is no need to reserve in advance and wait a lot compared to nearby places.

Pretty average, we had the canele set and a sesame bagel. Bagel was great and fluffy (not into really dense ones); canele was only fine.
