TAS Eatery Catering and Event Planning

This was my first time at this location and it was phenomenal. The ambiance feels inviting, warm, personal and touch of “home”. It felt like I was having lunch at my house. The food was very tasteful and well seasoned. I am one of those people that usually go with the “hamburger” or “chicken strips” because I am scared to try other foods. I ordered the red beans and rice with sausage and shrimp skewer. It was very delicious. The service was excellent.

I’m so happy we found this Jamaican restaurant, we’ve been looking in Chicago but haven’t found any we liked.However you must try Tas Eatery you will not be disappointed. I had the oxtails with rice and sweet plantains and a Jamaican beef pattie, mmmm 😋 As soon as you walk in you feel this great and relaxing atmosphere that you’ll enjoy they even have live music at times.. look at the website for any upcoming events. You can also host a private event, they have space…Last but not least the service from Tanya and Eula was exceptional!!! Love this place I will definitely be coming back!! This is truly a diamond in our neighborhood. The food was phenomenal. The decor and vibe is just so awesome. You have to check it out! They also have an amazing private party area in the back that is to die for.

The food here is outstanding, and the customer service was fantastic. If you're looking for genuine Jamaican cuisine, this is the place to be.

I truly enjoyed my visit here. Great food and ambiance. The staff were so kind. They made me feel like part of the family. I will be visiting again and again and again

Amazing Location, Amazing People and Amazing Food!!! Definitely recommend the Caribbean Ice Tea Punch. Definitely feels like home.

Wow! Starting with the actual inside and seating: beautiful! So modern and gorgeous. Beautiful space in the back for bigger parties. The food is delicious! My kids loved the Caribbean fruit punch, Mac and cheese, and chicken nuggets. They loved the fresh French fries and ice cream. The plantains were perfect! The curry shrimp dish was so flavorful without being overwhelming. The red beans, rice with sausage and shrimp was also very tasty. The fact that my kids also loved the food makes this place a 5/5. I can’t wait to attend all of their upcoming events!

OMMMMGGG!!!! This Creole Food is very tasty and the vibe in this place is so Caribbean love the choice of music. Chef Tanya’s signature pumpkin soup is scrumptious!!!! We went for brunch I ordered her surf & turf yummmmy. My friend ordered the soup and another vegan entree., MUST TRY the pineapple-ginger-lemonade beverage 🔥 (definitely on the sweeter side) if you like sweet beverages. Otherwise BYOB alcoholic beverages cork charge. We’ve enjoyed her catering services and this was my third visit. Must try!!!

This review is long overdue. My family & I received amazing service. Our waitress was personable and greeted us as soon as we entered the restaurant. She explained the menu and recommended her favorite items. Food was made to order, great quality and delicious. The restaurant is clean, cute decor and kid friendly. The owner was very nice & sweet to us. and She also showed us her unique space in the back for hosting events. Do yourself a favor and patronize the local establishment!

A hidden gem! We finally got to try out Tas Eatery and it did not disappoint! This restaurant has such a warm and inviting feel to it, we really enjoyed our overall experience from start to finish. We ordered the oxtail which was a special for the evening. So tender and flavorful! We also ordered the red snapper which had a perfect blend of sweet and spice! I loved that our dishes were served nice and hot! The staff was extremely friendly and attentive! An overall great experience! Can't wait to return!

This place has a great food, beautiful decor, and wonderful service. And as a bonus, it is BYOB. Highly recommend it.

New place in area of touch of class and great food! Must try! Looks small from front by has plenty of room for has a back area open aswell and can even hold pvt parties in back!!

Had a wonderful lunch today at Tas Eatery. I ordered the salmon sliders on a pretzel roll. It was very tasty and came with very fresh side salad. My friend had the chicken with brown sauce on a small waffle that also was very delicious. Had the pineapple ginger lemonade which was very nice. Ice cream with bourbon sauce was a nice finisher. I will be back!
