The lamb, squid, chorizo, steak are very good, shrimp is so so. Price is very reasonable. We will come back to try the pallea

The food here wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great. What I enjoyed: the spicy margarita and the oxtail crostini were really good. What missed the mark: the seafood paella was a little too fishy for my liking. There wasn’t a good flavor or much seasoning to the shrimp or the other seafood. If you look in the picture, you’ll see that they just threw boiled shrimps on top of the rice. I wanted to ask for a spicy sauce or something to dip the seafood in. The duck wings was mostly bone so I wish they served more than 4 pieces. The octopus wasn’t bad but there were parts that were so charred that it left a bitter burnt taste. Went on a Saturday night and it’s clear they were rather understaffed. I had a reservation but it look quite a while to get seated (there wasn’t a hostess at the front). Then when we were seated, it took a while for someone to grab our order and get the check at the end. The tables for two people are also pretty small — it also didn’t help that no one removed the 4 menus on the table after we ordered. I don’t think it’s worth visiting again.

Brightly lit, not a romantic restaurant. But lots of big groups. Food is good. Service is good. Recommend for group gatherings.

My partner and I had been to Tasca a few times, but we picked this place to enjoy our anniversary on the casual. We ended up having a truly lovely and memorable experience with Julianna. The food is great, as always, but she made us feel like we were at an upscale gourmet restaurant. We ended up staying a bit past close to finish our wine, but even though we were the last ones in the restaurant, she was so friendly and welcoming. We felt no rush and it made for an incredibly memorable night. Thank you Julianna! Highly recommended!

Google
Went here for a Valentine's Day dinner. The ambiance does make it a nice date spot. All of the food was good, but nothing particularly stood out. Prices are on par with other tapas places.

It’s the taste of another nation that perfectly executed at Tasca. I ventured out and ordered some the amazing quail, and tasted most of my friend’s delicious selection. They have parking vouchers for free parking. Excellent evening spent with family.

Google
I freaking loved my dining experience here! The staff was so friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, truthful (about recommendations and dishes) as well as accommodating. Not only was the staff amazing but the food, tapas and paella was top notch! Everything I had the pleasure of tasting was seasoned well and delivered promptly. Just make sure that if you will eat a paella you account for the time it takes to cook, it’s made from scratch so you might wait 20-30 minutes for it. The great thing about that is that the tapas are a small morsel that can keep you at bay while you wait for it. If you take the train it will be much easier however if you drive make sure you call ahead and get a parking ticket so you can park at whole foods on the opposite corner. The music was soft, the lighting romantic and the overall vibe very cozy. Just keep in mind there are some steps to get into the main dining area.

Google
Charming and lively place. Very much like being in Spain. Festive atmosphere, big main room with warm colors and friendly, cozy feel. Food was authentic tapas and other dishes. Stand outs were the special pork skewer, sliced steak appetizer with sauce, shrimp in garlic sauce, octopus and potatoes, and breaded fried chorizo. Paella was surprisingly not awesome but everything else was memorable. Bartender was excellent shaking spicy margaritas, mojitos, and lots more. Enthusiastic friendly staff all covering for each other like one happy family. They have an agreement with Whole Foods down the street and restaurant will provide a dated flyer to put on your dash for free parking in big Whole Foods lot two minute walk away. Great idea. Excellent dessert menu too with plenty of choices.

Yelp
Food was excellent! Pan con tomate, jamon iberico croquet, chorizo croquet, cucumber gazpacho and fried eggplant were delicious! Will definitely be coming back.

Laura Maria R.

Yelp
Wow, THAT was disappointing. The family went expecting some delicious tapas, but instead we got an approximation of what a person who has never eaten tapas, thinks what tapas should be. Ox tail: greasy and lacking seasoning. Pan tomat: this is supposed to be a crunchy bread with fresh tomato rubbed on it and just a little taste of garlic, finished off with a flavorful EVOO. Instead, we received an orange-colored cream dumped on some soft and doughy pizza bread. Disgusting. Setas al ajillo: nope. Not even close. Pulpo a la gallega (octopus): this is where they get that one star. Perfect! Charcuterie board: featuring cheeses from a nasty corner bodega, not too impressive. Thanks for the guava paste, though. Meat empanadas: delicious. Not Spanish, per se, but delicious. Service: perhaps train the service to be careful putting things on the table so they don't stick their hands into the other dishes on the table. I feel like the chef is not from Spain. I bet a/he is from a Spanish speaking Caribbean country. This would be a great restaurant for Cuban, Puerto Rican, or Dominican food. Well, now you know.

Simone P.

Yelp
Where to start...Reservation was for 7 and we got seated at 7:40. It was absurd and took forever to even talk to hostess as she was MIA. The service once seated was good. The food left a lot to be desired though, particularly the papas bravas. It wasn't cooked all the way and sauce on top just was not good. The octopus was also very chewy and flavorless, also quite small portion for the price . I would not return.

Ti W.

Yelp
Pretty affordable tapas place with delicious food. It feels more like the home style food instead of the fancy tapas places that you usually find in Boston. My favorite was the marinated anchovies with tomato on the bread. The tomato was more like homemade tomato sauce but it added unique flavor on top of the anchovies. The server was super helpful. She recommended the drink with the right sweetness just what I needed.

Gia H.

Yelp
All of the meat and seafood tapas were phenomenal (calamari, mussels, lamb chops, shrimp) - the ingredients were fresh and everything was cooked perfectly, the food just melted in my mouth. Regarding vegetarian options, the sautéed mushrooms are a good, but the fried artichokes and the Brie were lacking in both complexity and flavor. The paellas were SO flavorful and delicious. The rice soaks up all of the juices from the seafood and herbs and broth and brings a wonderful combination of flavor to the palette. The rice towards the bottom of the pan hardens ever so slightly and the variety of textures makes the paella so fun to eat. The churros are a must have as a finisher. In addition, the ambiance is nicely European. All of the paintings play with a light/dark theme and it feels as if you are in the shadows of an alleyway somewhere in Europe. The servers are polite and seem to enjoy themselves, which adds to the warm ambiance. You will leave very satisfied.

Yelp
Yummylicious!!!! I usually don't think to order Tapas for delivery but was looking for something different to order last weekend from our usual, and this popped up in the search. Ordered quite a few dishes- patatas bravas (my go to tapas), tomato bread (yummy), shishito peppers (first time trying this ever), lamb meatballs, ratatouille with bread, pollo chicken (really good, tender, tasty) and tortilla espanola. I like that they gave the sauce for the patatas bravas and the tomato sauce for bread separately packaged so they wouldn't get soggy. Very thoughtful! Food was great - tasty and filling! One issue with the delivery was that the driver called us on the phone but spoke no English it seemed that he could not find the address. And poor hubs went outside looking for him in the freezing temperatures. The one night that temps dropped to record freezing temps was when the driver couldn't find the building!! Luckily from the GrubHub online tracker we were able to see where the driver was - and finally connected!! Whew! Will order again and hopefully the delivery will make it next time!

Yelp
We haven't been to tasca in forever because it's a bit far from back bay. We went last night and it was great! The food is more of a 4 for me but with service & price it becomes a 5. Always had a great time here! We had the following: Patatas bravas - Good, liked the red kinda spicy sauce Croquettes - SO much jamon. Highly recommend!! Shrimp - Yummy, also a little spicy! Lamb - Loved this, cooked perfectly and the mint sauce was great Churros - Enjoyed these but would try a diff dessert next time No pressure here to hurry and leave. We had sangria and took our time after eating. Will be back!

Christiane M.

Yelp
lovely place for a fun dinner with friends! got a pitcher of white sangria which was great and lots of vegetarian options!

Haley E.

Yelp
Casual place with good tapas selection. The sangria is good but wish the pitchers were larger. Our favorite thing we ordered was the brie with apple chutney.

Charles L.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere and music is appropriate for the venue. Friendly staff, great menu particularly enjoyed the fried artichokes and the garlic, shrimp, along with the beet salad but, everything was good, and overall extremely good meal at a reasonable price.

Madow N.

Yelp
Tips: - Reservations are necessary on a Fri/weekend night - Get the parking pass from the restaurant that allows you to park at the Whole Foods just down the street. - Cozy ambiance. Spanish style decor. - The place was pretty packed on a Fri night. A little loud for my liking. - The tapas were pretty good. The Crispy goat cheese balls were my favorite - had a sweet filling. - There were a couple of things from the menu that we ordered that they didn't have or ran out of - There are some halal options on the menu, which is nice - Service was alright. Might try it again on a less busy night if I was already in the area.

Priscilla M.

Yelp
Tasca was recommended by a friend for tapas over Barcelona Wine & Bar, so we made reservations for a Friday night. The ambiance is traditional Spanish -- romantic lighting, beautiful paintings, decor pieces, and yellow archways. The bathroom is clean and even has a baby changing station. Alitas de Pato - duck wings were deliciously sweet and savory Pollo al Ajillo - very flavorful boneless chicken Pulpo a la Gallega - did not love this one, the octopus was a bit rubbery and lacked in flavor Gambas al Pil Pil - I can eat this all day, also not that spicy Brie - really beautiful combo with the apple chutney, pear, and crostini Patatas Bravas - a bit disappointed with the flavor on this dish Boquerones - pretty good anchovies on tomato-garlic bread Be sure to get a pitcher of their red sangria!

Kimberly N.

Yelp
Went here for a Valentine's Day dinner. The ambiance does make it a nice date spot. All of the food was good, but nothing particularly stood out. Prices are on par with other tapas places.

Myles H.

Yelp
This place is a total waste of time! They overbooked by DOZENS of people on Valentine's Day. I had a 7:30pm reservation for 2. Got there a few minutes early and there was a line out the door of 15 or so people, all waiting for a reservation, meanwhile there was not a single open table in the restaurant. My girlfriend and I waited another 20 minutes and watched another 5+ couples show up, while not a single person got seated. Spoke to a hostess or server and they said to just get in line and wait - no apology or anything for the blatant disregard for people's time. What a horrible business. DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY.

S S.

Yelp
This is absolutely one of the best plagues jn Biston. It is a hidden treasure that I highly recommend locals and visitors to discover for them. LOVE THE GOOD LOVE THE ENERGY!!

Mackenzie W.

Yelp
Moved to the area a few months ago and Tasca has become a regular favorite! Each dish has been delicious, every server has been kind and attentive, and the drinks are also great. They are only open in the evenings which provides a nice atmosphere as well. Overall well worth it!

Michael J.

Yelp
One of the best Tapas restaurants you'll come across in Boston. This spot is always bustling and everything is delicious. The servers are all friendly and understand the timing on your order. Love coming to this place, always.

Dora C.

Yelp
I was pretty disappointed coming here the second time. The first time was 5/5 stars, Great service, food, atmosphere. This time, the food was just sad. There was a downgrade and flavor and meticulousness. We ordered paella, squid, timbales, crispy eggplants in sugar sauce, pisto manchego and more. The start with, the food was too salty. The ratatouille was bland, the eggplants were ok but too oily as if they hadn't been dried. The paella was lacking in the flavor department but it was just too salty for us and wasn't anything like the paella we had the first time we came. None of it was very delicate in appearance or flavor. I don't really know what happened to the menu and food quality but I hope it's temporary because it was really good last time we came.

Bill Z.

Yelp
I thought I was familiar with most of the tapas bars in the Boston area, but I only learned of Tasca when a local friend recommended it as her favorite. I can see why. Tasca has the atmosphere, service, and food that I expect from a place that tries to convey a sense of authenticity. Our group very much enjoyed our dinner there a few evenings ago. There is a plentiful assortment of cocktails and wines from which to choose, but many of us opted for carafes of their pink/rose sangria. This was very refreshing, with small chunks of fruit throughout. As much as I enjoyed several glasses of it, I think it could even be slightly fruitier, perhaps with a little more muddled fruit or a small amount of liqueur. My side of the table was pretty much the "omnivore side," with a focus on the meat tapas, while the other half was predominantly vegetarian. All were satisfied. We were checked on frequently and added items to our order just as frequently, and everything came out quickly. Among the small plates I sampled, my favorite was the lamb with the mint jelly sauce, though the duck wings were a close second. Several of us ordered the paella Valenciana, and the portion for all of us came out in a single large pan, complete with fully unpeeled shrimp (!). I'm pretty sure it was not cooked in the pan, merely assembled in it, but it was still quite tasty. Though I would have been satisfied to have the meats even a slight bit more charred. We also ordered a variety of desserts. My bread pudding was rich and gooey, and I also enjoyed sampling the flan next to me, some of the best flan I've had in recent times. I also like that even though the restaurant was full, the acoustics kept the room from being excessively loud. This is certainly a place to which I wish to return frequently.

Malik R.

Yelp
Delicious food , great customer service! Food was served very quickly , the wait time was not long at all. But be warned they don't have any rice based tapas :( other than that , the menu is stellar ) I recommend: - Empanadillas De Carne -Fried Calamari -Alitas De Pato -Pollo al Ajillo

Tom D.

Yelp
Good Spanish food, but it's the noisiest restaurant I have ever been in, in any country.

Jimmy H.

Yelp
Shoutout to Alejandro! If you're reading this, you made our night! Hands down the best tapas place in Boston with also the best Sangria in Boston that blows Barcelona Wine Bar out of the water. You get a big pitcher of fruit infused ambrosia that fills maybe 4-5 cupfuls but it's gone before you know it. Every single dish was beautifully crafted and surprised me. I had high expectations but even all the vegetable dishes were great. I'd say the fried eggplant with cane sugar (berenjenas con miel) is a MUST TRY! As for the other heartier dishes, the sauces stand out to me with the potato sauce being rich and creamy and the lamb sauce being light and minty. Come here for the food but stay for the drinks and service!

Elizabeth J.

Yelp
Tasca is a great tapas restaurant! So many traditional Spanish dishes here and what better to try them all than in tapas form. I went a couple weeks ago and got their cheese board which was surprisingly delicious, and I always make sure to get the red sangria!

Kun M.

Yelp
Delightful and reliable for a change of pace. Main attraction is the ambiance. Tapas are fun and interesting, and they are well presented. Our steak tapas came much rarer than ordered, but the three it back under the grill. Very good service, too. Not great value for the money, but if that's not a deal breaker, Tasca is a nice change of pace. If you're hungry, maybe order a paella. Free parking at Whole Foods was much appreciated--pick up a parking pass from the hostess.

Leslie M.

Yelp
Tasca was packed on a Friday. I suggest making reservations online before you come. Amazing service. Great food. Reasonably priced! I will definitely be back.

Edward W.

Yelp
5 Service was great and friendly, gave us a free mussels! 4 mussels 4.5 Empanadas 4 quesos ..... Everything was pretty much a 4. Definitely good deal for price since we did 5$ tapas

Tommy B.

Yelp
So we were looking for a place to go for a work event. I made reservations and so glad we did! 1st Rafael was our server... amazing! Menu knowledge was great and recommended so many great items. There were 6 of us and we ordered a bunch of different items. Everything was super fresh and I will definitely be back! I only posted a few of the food pics... so good!

Jacquelyn T.

Yelp
Best tapas I've had in Boston, and it's pretty budget-friendly if you're a student like me! Super cozy, and really incredible service every time. Their sangria is the best!

Aya R.

Yelp
I wish that I had taken pictures instead of scarfing down the tapas. They have an extensive vegetarian menu, my favorite being the ratatouille (served cold). Also the pear chutney and Brie was a sublime combination of savory cheese and sweet pear spread. The staff were very knowledgeable about the food and wines. It was a pleasure to be able to taste several wines before deciding on a bottle. The ambiance is more traditional, European restaurant. While most establishments are opting for a modern take, this makes for a unique dining experience. Will be coming here again to wine, dine and have a wonderful time.

Le T.

Yelp
We are grateful to be winning their holiday $100 GC giveaway on Instagram! This gives me the opportunity to enjoy some quality time with close ones to celebrate the end of 2020. The staff is very diligent in following social distancing guidelines and we felt very safe dining at this restaurant. Street parking is a pain in the area but the restaurant was kind enough to give us valet passes to park at TD Bank for free! Just make sure to call ahead. We got two different pitchers of red sangria to start! For 4 people, that's 2.5 glasses per person. Best sangria hands down! Everything we ordered was outstanding! Seafood was amazingly fresh. Paella Valenciana was out of this world! Honestly order everything! The interior of Tasca is very beautiful and the decor brings out a very romantic atmosphere. Perfect for date night! The service was friendly, personable, and attentive! Tasca is a treasure and I cannot recommend this place enough! Thank you to all the staff and especially the manager Armando! We had a wonderful time and we will definitely come back to try the rest of your menu!

Phillip H.

Yelp
Went for Valentines Dinner with a reservation. Food was reasonable for a tapas style restaurant with good enough portions to share for 2. Very attentive waitstaff and the manager was sweet in giving my date a rose at the end of our dinner.

Connie L.

Yelp
The only downside to Tasca is the long wait to get seated (even if you have a reservation) BUT the food and service are SO WORTH IT. If you have Alejandro as your waiter, you are in for an experience. He's so honest and recommended us the best dishes and perfect amount of food - would give six stars for him if I could! Would love to come back and try the rest of their Tapas menu because every one I had so far was amazing (my favorite was their Chuletas de Cordero). Delicious food and great service - not much else you could ask for :)

Alan C.

Yelp
I have lived near tasca for years and only just tried it I have been there twice now and the food makes me happy. so good we got the shrimp in oil, the muscles with grilled octopus they also have paella and the drinks are great. The mango margherita was wonderful. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. i feel so lucky to have found this gem within walking distance to my house.

Lisa A.

Yelp
Authentic food and fantastic staff. Flamenco shows are also incredible. Best tortilla in Boston.

Cameron H.

Yelp
Love this place!! Amazing food and great atmosphere. I'm always sure to bring out of towners here because it's always a crowd pleaser! The service is prompt and very friendly!

Kenneth B.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try Tasca for a long time. My daughter's live just down the street. We went last Friday night with a party of 8. We arrived about 5 minutes ahead of our reservation and were seated right away. They have outdoor seating but we choose indoor, the only problem with that was it was very warm inside. Our server was great. He suggested the wine which was a dry red that was good and reasonably priced. He made sure we understood anything on the menu that we were unfamiliar with. As busy as it was we never lacked for attention. Being a party of eight, I believe we tasted almost everything on the menu. The amazing thing was Everytime we ordered more tapas, they were delivered to the table in mere minutes. Everyone raved about everything that was ordered. I can only comment on what I tried, among the oodles of tapas ordered The lamb lollipops were delicious, I could have sat down to several plates of those. Crispy potatoes with Brava sauce, the potatoes were creamy inside and crispy outside, and wonderful. The Grilled brie cheese with apple clutney, fresh pear and garlic crostini. What a great combination, the apple chutney was outstanding. Grilled ratatouille with roasted zucchini, green pepper, eggplant, tomato and garlic crostini, this was the most flavorful ratatouille I have ever had. Fried squid with aioli sauce on the side. This was good but nothing out of the ordinary. Duck wings glazed in triple sec, orange and cinnamon sauce. I would not order these again. They were dry and tough. What I really came there for was the Paella de Mariscos. Saffron rice stew, made with mussels, cockie clams, calamari and shrimp, in a lobster and shrimp broth. First of all this is made to order so be prepared to wait while it is being prepared. First of all when it came out it had the most wonderful aroma of the sea. The rice though it had an awesome flavor, it lacked the crispy bottom that paella is known for. A bit disappointing. The mussels, clams and shrimp were cooked to perfection. The calamari though was very tough. After eating one or two I pushed the rest to the side. For dessert I ordered the Crema Catalina, and a glass of Porto. Both met all my expectations. Again the restaurant did very well taking care of a table of eight hungry adults, even with some having gluten intolerance diets. We definitely will be back next time I am visiting my daughters.

Eric S.

Yelp
I love this place. I've been twice now. The great variety of food is amazing. Each dish reminds me of Spain and is bursting with flavor. The staff are lovely too. The prices are normal for this kind of food. The ambience is nice too.

Gigi J.

Yelp
Service was great food was just okay, I expected the Paella to have more flavor but it smelt too much like seafood as if it wasn't cooked thoroughly which made the dish not appetizing. The steak & potatoes dish had no salt or flavor. The only thing that was really good was the beef empanada which I felt like shouldn't have been the highlight dish considering we ordered 15 items! Items ordered: - Fried Artichoke (it's exactly that and nothing more) - Fried Calamari (delicious) - Hot pork sausage (lacked flavor and spice) - Seafood Paella (had a bad smell) - Honey baked Brie (it's exactly that, nothing more) - Steak & Potatoes (don't order, maybe try the pepper steak instead) Overall, it was just okay. There are other great Spanish tapas place in Boston! I would give it a try if I lived in Boston and craved a light tapas dinner! Not a "must try" place.

Ed Y.

Yelp
Wonderful restaurant. Went for a birthday dinner. Great selection of tapas dishes. Tried many and the grilled octopus really stood out. Our waiter was fantastic, recommending several dishes including the octopus. Everything was great, we will definitely be returning.

Michael B.

Yelp
Outstanding service and food that was very good. A little pricey for some items, particularly considering the serving sizes. Great experience overall and would definitely return. It had a fun vibe as well.

Jack G.

Yelp
Best tapas in Boston!! Fantastic selection of authentic Spanish cuisine, great ambience, and reasonably priced.

Cynthia P.

Yelp
Went back to Tasca because my last visit was great! Parking can be tight on the street but they give you a form to park in the Whole Foods lot nearby. The sangria and red wines selections are excellent. I love the tapas! Alejandro was our waiter and gave us delicious suggestions: pork cheek special was so tender and flavorful; skirt steak w chimichurri was one of best I've ever had. Grilled octopus and calamari both yummy! Fried artichokes was fun and fried just right. Highly recommend.

Mason M.

Yelp
We have been here a couple times and really want to give at least 4 stars but a recent visit really soured our relationship with this restaurant. First of all the tapas are excellent. We haven't ordered any tapas that we wouldn't get again. Recently went with a vegetarian friend which turned out great as there is a whole vegetarian section so more than enough delicious options. Every time we have been we leave wishing we could eat just a couple more tapas just to be able to try. However, our most recent visit we tried the Paella Mariscos which was nowhere near the standard of their tapas. The calamari was so over cooked it was like chewing a rubber band, shrimp was over cooked/flavorless, and muscles/clams were fishy. On top of this the seasoning for the entire dish was off, some parts very fishy other parts extremely salty. As wasteful as it felt we couldn't eat anymore of the dish after taking our few bites. This ended up adding to the poor experience as the waitress turned a little rude towards us for not eating the poor quality dish even though we cleared out all of our other ordered tapas. On top of this, despite sending back the near full dish and receiving the cold shoulder from our waitress we still had to pay for our uneaten paella which is understandable but it just left a sour taste in my mouth. In all fairness the waiter who came to charge us for the check offered to ask about taking the paella off but I didn't want to cause anymore trouble or interact with our waitress any further. All in all, order tapas and you will be good. Highly recommend staying away from at least the Paella Mariscos. Good restaurant but not sure if we will return again.

Luanna B.

Yelp
We ended up at Tasca because a nearby tapas restaurant chain had a very long wait. Welllllll, we were so happy we ate here. The plates and atmosphere were very authentic. All the tapas were delicious and la paella was superb. I recommend you eat at Tasca and you will not be disappointed & you will be supporting a local, unique restaurant.

Rain T.

Yelp
Wish I could give this place a better review - however every time I come I am stuck waiting 30-45 mins even though I made reservations. They are completely disorganized and the hassle is not worth the food.

Emeka N.

Yelp
Food was okay at best. Also the Service felt very rushed throughout the night and the place was tiny. The staff was okay. All in all it was okay. Hot as hell in there as well. I wouldn't go back, but it wasn't bad..

Michela G.

Yelp
Really very good. Service was great. Drinks were yum. And every thing we had was great.

Varun S.

Yelp
Excellent food, drinks and great service. Carolina at the bar was very attentive and amazing!

Iris S.

Yelp
This is a great place in Brighton that reminds my husband and I of our time in Sevilla. The food feels home cooked and authentic l, unless a lot of the modern Spanish places in Boston proper. You definitely need a reservation (even with one there can be like a 10-15 min wait) on a weekend night. Highlights would be jamon croquettes, pulpa de la plancha. I would pass on the lamb meatballs and the ratatouille if I had to choose again. For a larger main, I really liked the seafood stew. It tastes like paella but no rice ( so less carbs!). It does come with really good bread on the side. Red sangria is also a must here but they also have white and rose.

Jacqueline H.

Yelp
I really wanted to love Tasca - the ambiance was cute and the staff was nice. However, the service was ~very~ slow and the food was mediocre at best. It was fairly prices for a tapas bar. For context, we went on a rainy Tuesday evening, the restaurant was not that crowed, around 7:30PM, but it picked up throughout the night. We started off with the charcutería - which was good; however, it took more than 45 minutes to get to the table (which we feel is unexpectable since it's only 3 cheeses, two cured meats, and a handful of fruit). The slices of baguette bread was good - but nothing better than fresh supermarket bread. We also ordered: Albondigas de Cordero - lamb meatballs: do not recommend, it was more binder/bready than lamb. Super lack luster. Croquetas de Jamón Ibérico y Manchego - ham and cheese croquets: it was okay, nothing to write home about, it did come with 5 pieces, so it would be shareable Calamares Fritos - fried calamari: best part of the night, super crispy, not too oily Croqueta de Bogavante - lobster croquet: it had a weird, unfresh, fishy smell to it), it also just comes with one Patatas Bravas - potatoes: the sauce and the potatoes were dry - yes, the sauce was dry Croquetas de Boletos (it was meh). We also ordered a bottle of the Pere Mata per the recommendation of the server - it was your standard sparkling wine. For dessert, we ordered the Crepe de Helado (the crepe was frozen and hard, the chocolate syrup was most likely Hershey's) and the Crema Catalana (it was fine (?) I've had better, it tasted like a creamy, custardy Fireball)
