This grocery store is truly the best of the best. The selection is amazing, everything is fresh, and the store is clean and well organized. The cakes and salads were absolutely awesome—fresh, delicious, and made with care. The staff is friendly, and shopping here is was a great experience. I really wish we had a store like this in Jacksonville, FL!

Great place to shop if you are from post soviet countries. It’s always clean. Employees are always polite and organized. Whatever you need, just ask. I would strongly recommend to check the cake section. They do have a bakery next door but keep some here as well.

Smaller than the flagship but still very good. Tons of ready to serve food at about $10 per pound. All meat is Halal which is similar to Kosher and it is undergoing a strict supervision. Parking is a problem here.

If you’re looking for amazing Russian food and authentic specialties, Tashkent Supermarket is hands down the best! They have such a wide selection of Russian groceries, snacks, and specialty items that are hard to find anywhere else. What really keeps me coming back, though, is their ready-made hot food section. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and perfect when you want something quick but delicious. Their shawarma is my absolute favorite — I make sure to grab one every time I’m in Brooklyn! If you love around the world flavors or just want to try something new, this place is a must-visit.

Be careful when getting food. I found a piece of melted plastic knife in my Korean crispy salad. I have no idea how something like that could happen. I tried to resolve the situation by phone, but they don’t even pick up.

Tashkent supermarket are best in class. They carry premium groceries & their 100% halal has best cuts & is always fresh. The place is very clean & well organized although its geographically located a crowded neighborhood. Market is usu5packed with satisfied customers.

I was overcharged on my purchase today. I was charged for an extra bag ($0.44), an extra samsa ($3.99 — I bought two but was charged for three), and one croissant was charged at $5.99 instead of $3.99. Very disappointing experience — I trusted this store, but clearly receipts need to be checked carefully. I expect a refund for the incorrect charges

This Halal supermarket sets the Gold Standard for Brooklyn. 🥇🥇 I’m not easily impressed but this place blew my socks off! Good quality, selection, & value. 👍👍 This place is packed and I understand why. They have it all! Meats, vegetables, fruits, a bakery & Gyro stand. 13 cashiers for checkout. You’re overwhelmed with food choices as you enter. Where to begin is my question? 1 trip won’t get it done. You will need to return at least 5 times to fully experience it. Very organized & tidy. However, the buffet food section could use an over glass to protect against people sneezing. Also, you can feel a strong breeze from outside as the door opens and that may carry in some pollutants. But I am highly impressed with every other aspect of this establishment! Well done 🙏🏻

Bad produce, overpriced, rude staff, terrible meat department, dirty. I live in the neighborhood and I've looked for the highest quality food for years, taskient puts on a good front by having overpriced food but that's about it. Their produce rots when you get home and is all GMO and sprayed with pesticides and flavorless, their meat department has really gross looking meat that isn't fresh, and the food bar is really dirty. Overall one of the worst grocery stores in Brighton Beach. Also the staff are very rude and are always running around bumping into everyone and cursing.

When we came to New York from California, we absolutely went to Tashkent Supermarket to get their bread and beef shawarma. Our friends did the same. Their shawarma is the only one we like in all of America because it tastes just like the shawarma from our home country. We've tried shawarma from a lot of restaurants in California, but none of them taste as good as the shawarma from Tashkent Supermarket. They prepare it very cleanly . We also really like their service . If you want to taste authentic Turkish-style shawarma, I absolutely recommend trying Tashkent Supermarket.

It was my first time in Sheepshead Bay so I decided to check out some Russian/Uzbek/East European supermarkets. There were so many that I feel like I was in a different world. Tashkent Supermarket had the most selection with the most amazing bakery and hot buffet I have ever seen. They also have a counter for food made to order as well. The hot buffet has everything: salads, pickled vegetables, olives, pastries, desserts, meats (lamb and kebabs!), and seafood. It's the best hot buffet I've seen at any supermarket ever in terms of variety and freshness. I like that some items were priced per item and some were per pound. The bakery also has so many Uzbek and Georgian breads I have never seen before. I bought Georgian bread and some kebabs to bring home. I would definitely come back!

The produce is fresh and a good price. The cashiers are friendly and quick. The place is usually busy but not claustrophobic.

If u want ready made great food and rare groceries , i wish they would have closer location

Scamming Cashiers!!! Food is good but cashiers are horrible and always try to scam you and over charge you . Especially if you are not their race and cannot speak their language. Baked goods have different prices and be careful at the cashiers This morning I bought 5 big Samsa and 4 smalls plus other items.Stupid women counted 6 big and 3 small which I didn't notice and already paid . Before I left she asked to count again and said short for 1 small samsa and ask me to pay for it again . At that point I want to cancel all but my man didn't want to wait anymore time and paid. When I reached home and count. Not only she charged me small one as big price, she asked me to pay it again . Will never go that store again

Gross and awful. Why would anyone buy anything from here? We walked out after 5 minutes.

Food was good, a little overprice as everywhere. However, I used my credit card there for the very 1st time, and next day I was charged in DoorDash. I don't even have an account in DoorDash. I heard about this place about a year ago someone had the same problem, now I have it. CC company called me and canceled my card. BWT, I bought some pastry, and it was super sweet, very overpriced and not tasty at all.

mostly prepared food, skip going a to a local restaurant and pick anything up from here, the food is clearly made with love. prices have risen on many items, but thats because this place gets a ton of patronage, and they just expanded with a larger cold pastry section. the place is always packed. the only thing i can ask for is organic produce to be stocked, like organic dill and parsley, but there is clearly an emphasis on pushing out cooked foods and prepared salad, as well as raw halal meat. so there is more room allocated for that rather than produce.
