Taskonaklar Hotel Cappadocia

Honestly, this place is just special. We’ve stayed in a few cave hotels before, but Taşkonaklar feels different, it truly captured our hearts. The view from the terrace at sunrise is something I’ll never forget! Watching the balloons drift over the valley with a coffee in hand was easily one of the highlights of the trip. The rooms are incredibly cozy, warm, and thoughtfully designed, we truly feel at home. The staff is genuinely kind and attentive, always there when you need them. Breakfasts deserve a special mention: beautifully served and absolutely delicious at Moniq restaurant. And enjoying a hot jacuzzi on the terrace in January, surrounded by winter air and silence, was pure magic, something we don’t forget. Another thing we loved: the incredibly warm attitude toward our dog. Finding a place that welcomes pets with such genuine kindness is rare and means a lot.

The stay truly exceeded our expectations. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout our four-day visit, with special thanks to Rasul, our go-to person for any special requests or last-minute tour arrangements, and Maryam as well. The rooms were spacious and comfortably warm despite the freezing winter in Uchisar, and the views from our balcony and the hotel’s open spaces were absolutely breathtaking. The atmosphere was very quiet, cozy, and impeccably clean, well worth the value. The location is ideal: peacefully away from the busy center of Göreme, yet only a few minutes’ drive away. Many Uchisar attractions are also within walking distance, including Uchisar Castle for stunning sunsets. Moniq Restaurant, located within the hotel, is outstanding, with food that is truly exceptional. Highly recommended for couples and families alike.

Our stay at the hotel was truly exceptional. Mr. Mustafa was incredibly helpful and attentive to every detail, which made our experience much more comfortable and enjoyable. I would also like to thank Mr. Russel and Mr. Ali from the dining and breakfast service. Their kindness, cooperation, and warm smiles made our mornings so much more pleasant. The cleanliness of the hotel and the attention to even the smallest details truly make your day. I never felt like I was staying in a hotel — it felt like home, thanks to the wonderful staff.

An exceptional stay at Taskonaklar Hotel. The cave suites are superb—beautifully designed, atmospheric, and extremely comfortable, blending character with understated luxury. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, i was impressed with the services from their staffs they were polite, friendly and helpful. Check in was smooth, there is a welcome drink station with snacks and different kind of drinks choices which added plus points to our check-in experience. The hotel design is luxury and very beautiful! We booked the Royal king suite with outdoor hot tub and fireplace. I totally fall in love with the room it was clean and spotless, very well designed. Comfortable bed, with all amenities, a cosy living, dining area and a fireplace. My favorite part of the room is the huge balcony with hot tub and spectacular view of the Pigeon Valley it’s so romantic. A stay which I will remember for life. Highlights of my Cappadocia trip!

Very calm and authentic cave rooms, located right next to Pigeon Valley, with a beautiful and peaceful view. We loved rooms 106, 502, and 503. On our last morning, the wind changed direction and all the hot air balloons flew closer to the hotel, it was an incredible experience to watch them from so nearby.

The view from this hotel is simply breathtaking. The quality of the rooms, extremely friendly staff and 5 star quality restaurant make this hotel fantastic. I can warmly recommend it to everyone that is visiting capadocia.
