Tasquinha da Linda

Tasquinha da Linda does not get the MICHELIN recognition without reason. From the service to the food quality, everything is really very good. Overall, an excellent restaurant. Highly recommended. I always enjoy coming back.

Delicious food. Probably best to book in advance though we got in without a reservation on a quiet night. Friendly service. Had Arroz de Robalo and a few other dishes. Would visit again.

A restaurant with a great location, right in the port — which feels very authentic for a seafood spot and really added to the atmosphere. All the seafood was fresh and flavorful. The desserts were also a pleasant surprise and impressed our taste buds. Service was good — nothing exceptional. The only downside was the plating — we expected more in terms of presentation some dishes.

We booked Tasquinha da Linda for a private corporate reception and dinner. The evening started with cocktails and appetizers outside on the patio. We followed up with a wonderful four course dinner inside. Delightful fresh seafood is their specialty. Everything was delicious and the service from Linda, Sergio and Anais was spectacular. It felt like we were invited over to their home for a family feast. Prices are high for Viana do Castelo but still a bargain compared to US or the rest of continental Europe for the quality of food and service.

You must try this restaurant if you are looking for truly tasty Portuguese food, for a fair price. It's a fancy place, and the service and staff are attentive.

Beautiful, modern and comfortable restaurant right on the docks by the fisherman boats. Professional servers (although they messed up our order). The desserts were a low point so I would avoid but the fish dishes and seafood were delicious.

The worst treatment of guests I've ever seen. We arrived in the evening, arriving from Lisbon with a small child, having had dinner at home beforehand. We also fed the baby, went for a walk, and wanted to stop in for coffee and dessert. On the recommendation of the owner of the apartment where we were staying, we planned to dine at this restaurant every day of our stay. But unfortunately, our request for coffee and dessert was denied, which was very unpleasant. The restaurant was empty, with only about six people in the entire room. I certainly won't come back here again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
