Where to Eat Balkan Food in London | Eater London

"For a chance to taste a range of Croatian delicacies, from cured meats to flavoured olive oil and cheeses, head to Borough Market’s Taste Croatia Deli. The stall serves a range of condiments, snacks, and wines inspired by and made around the country, including truffles, relishes, pates, and salamis. Try the pumpkin oil and the red pepper dip as authentic additions to liven up a meal." - Kaltrina Bylykbashi

Run by husband and wife team of Chris and Ana-Maria. At this market now more than 10 years. Together a charming combination of skill set perfect to answer all of a customer’s questions. We bought dried fig and lavender cake and fig jam. The fig lavender cake was a bit too strong my taste but my wife loves it. I’m not worried I think it would taste great in a cookie or cake recipe and treat it like a flavour ingredient. Actually the cake without lavender tastes amazing! I will definitely come back to sample more of Croatia’s products not just for a taste experience but for the relaxed and friendly shopping experience.

I ordered a hamper from TasteCroatia and it was absolutely amazing! As they were out of stock on their website, I gave them a call and they made me a hamper with their remaining stock and I paid them over the phone. The next day - (not even 24 hours later!) I received my box full of goodies which I absolutely love. After 2 lunches I ate over half the jar of Ajvar, and it was amazing. I would love to visit one day, next time I go to London I might have to give some of their cheese a go! I fully recommend them all, everyone I spoke to was very friendly and were very happy to help me with my order. Hvala!

Visited here while at the Borough Market and they were very friendly and welcoming. We were offered many samples, including prosciutto, olives, and jam. I believe they also had cheeses and other meat products. We bought some prosciutto and jam and both were very good. Definitely would recommend visiting this vendor.

A visit to Borough Market is an absolute MUST if you are in London and of course to taste and buy some of the delicious things sold by very friendly owner with all this Croatian specialitys! He offered us a lot of tasting though we explained we could not buy anything travelling from EU (sad but true!) - so very generous and kind! We´ll be back!

Such a lovely little shop, it really felt like an authentic 'taste' of Croatia. From the beautiful decor/artwork to the array of specialty Croatian food items, from award winning Istrian olive oils, to lovely aged cheeses and truffle products galore. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and you are able to try everything before you buy. So lovely to see Croatia represented so well here in the UK, it really felt like a slice of home. Overall, a fantastic experience. A+
