Taste of Guilin & IN CHA

Guilin Noodle tastes very good. They even have IN CHA option for bubble tea. The bubble tea was ok, not the best compared to other bubble tea spots. Food was good though.

I am so glad that Taste of Guilin exists. My wife grew up eating Guilin Noodles in China and whenever she felt homesick, we would take a drive over to Taste of Guilin so she could relive some memories. Guilin Noodles is a very niche type of noodle dish even among Chinese in NYC. The service is order at the counter and pick up food when ready. They have 4 four tops and a 2 top in the corner for seats. The ambiance of the restaurant is that of a fast food take out restaurant. Wife and I each ordered Guilin Noodles ($10) with extra crispy pork ($2.50). Each dish was then $12.50. Not bad for a Friday night dinner and cheaper than Flushing's Chinatown. The vibe here is must more old school Chinese immigrants who are Canto speakers. We ordered two things 1. Guilin Noodles w/ extra crispy pork is a must order. Get a taste of authentic Guilin. You eat the noodles in two parts. Have some of the noodles with various types of prepared pork with some spicy oil that is offered at the table. I also recommend ordering sour preserved diced string beans with your noodles if you feel adventurous. After having enough of the dry noodles, add some soup to make a soup noodle. It transforms the remaining flavor of the dish completely. It's magical. The only con about them is that sometimes the noodles can be overcooked and they will stick to each other more, loose their bounce and might break apart before you can slurp them up. Hasn't happened often, but when it does, it's noticeable. 2. Also ordered a mango flavor fruit tea. Honestly didn't taste so great. Most of the flavor came from syrup and there didn't seem to be much mango in the drink. Hard pass unless you want something to wash down the spice from too much chilly oil. So unremarkable I don't even remember what I paid for it. Come in for affordable lunch or dinner. You can experience some noodle dishes from China that is not found anywhere else in NYC. If the owner's read this, please open up a shop in Flushing! 4/5

Authentic Guilin rice noodle flavor. I love it. The scallion pancake and braised beef is great. The lemonade is also very good. 😊

This is our favorite Rice noodles place before, but now their quality of the meat is not good anymore. They used waste part 😞 and if you asked for extra meat they give you fat . Better to eat pork oil which is same taste 🤮. Though, I understand they raised their price but hope the quality stay the same. 😒

The professionalism and customer service performed by the cashier was dreadful. I made a pick up order for the pickled bamboo beef stew noodle soup and when I received my order, I realize the beef is not the one I use to have. I called for clarification and the cashier hear my order incorrectly. I asked if the restaurant can just deliver just the protein itself and I am willing to pay for the protein, delivery service, and tips. Unfortunately I have to travel to the restaurant for the 2nd TIME to remove the beef that was given mistakenly. The cashier DID NOT apologize nor did I feel any sincere apology when I arrived at the restaurant to repair the mistake made by the cashier. The worst part is that my noodle soak up my broth. Good luck to the person who receives the beef that was originally in my bowl because the restaurant owner took it out. It might be for the next customer who orders the sliced beef.

Their special noodle, gui lin noodle is one of the 2 dishes I order here. Place is near where I work and perfect when I don't have any leftovers for lunch. I thank my sister for telling me about this noodle spot. Their specialty is spicy food. Small place with limited seating, but I never had a problem coming in around 12 to 1 pm weekdays. Big amd yummy portions every single time. Huge menu, I have so many that I have not tried yet.

At this little shop, a beautiful and kind young woman prepared my fruit tea with a warm, radiant smile. I can’t seem to get her out of my mind. I truly hope life brings her endless happiness.

I recently visited this establishment, and unfortunately, the experience was far from pleasant. The condition of the store and the quality of service were utterly disappointing. I ordered Guilin noodles and a drink and waited patiently. However, after 30 minutes, I inquired about my order twice. Initially, I was told it was being prepared, only to later learn that it hadn't been put down at all. This level of disorganization was frustrating, to say the least. Moreover, both workers were extremely rude and seemed visibly unhappy to be there, which further tarnished the experience. In stark contrast, the Guilin noodle restaurant in Staten Island offers significantly better service and quality. I strongly advise taking your business elsewhere. My friends, family, and I will certainly not be returning.

I order pickup from this place all the time and they are ALWAYS very slow with their service. Either they forget or they just doing it on purpose. One thing they love to do is mark your order as complete but when you get there, it's never done. They do this to seem like they have a good track record for delivery but in reality it's the complete opposite. They are SLOW. The food they make is good but just the service is terrible. Food contains veggies and not too much of your selection so don't count on them packing your bowl up. A tip I suppose is probably ordering a good 45 minutes ahead of time or calling them to make sure your food is actually there.

Ordered on the app (Seamless) 30 mins before coming here for them to tell me the app didn't notify them of the order. Hence they only started making my order when I got there. They told me they would make mines first. Complete liars as someone who ordered after me got their order first. I also only ordered one thing by the way so not a big order at all. Everyone who came in before me of course got their order already. Never come here for mediocre food with such long wait times. I waited another 20 minutes in the store before I got my order. "Make my order first" yeah right. No apologies whatsoever ever.

The stuff was super nice. She was very patient to answer my question. And give really good suggestion. The brown sugar boba milk is really good. The boba is perfectly cooked, sweet and chewy.

Goes to prove that two good things combined does not always turn out better. Matcha coffee latte takes the two negative aspects of both drinks (the bitterness) and amplifies it. The result is upfront bitter matcha with the coffee aftertaste. 两件好喝的饮料混合在一起不一定好喝。 抹茶咖啡拿铁就是个好例子。

their noodles are very salty and delivery takes 1 hr just to get it delivered because the restaurant is slow as hell

Review is for the food only, I didn't get a chance to try their drinks. I would recommend getting their noodle but they definitely need training in customer service. While I was inside the store, they were giving out free drink samples in their storefront. A girl holding a tray of sample was walking around to offer the drink. She went to all tables but skipped mine. We had eye contact so I'm positive that she saw me. No idea why she did that, maybe I was unlucky. I ordered hot and sour noodle soup with pork intestine, guilin style rice noodle and braised egg. Their braised egg is the darkest egg I have ever seen but it tasted yummy. Their noodles were good and I prefer dry over soup noodle. You need to make a order in the counter and they will bring the food to your table whenever is ready. I requested for a spoon and my server just dropped it on my tray. I might be a bit picky here but I just cannot imagine someone would do this to their customers. If the owner is reading this, I hope you understand that small things matter. I love supporting local business and I hope there will be an improvement in service the next time I visit.

I got my most expensive bubble tea ever from here. It was $8 for their signature Roasted Macchiato Brown Sugar Bubble Tea with egg yolk cheese macchiato. The bubbles were chewy but a bit mushy. I think if they cooked it any longer it would've been overcooked. The macchiato that comes with the drink is already really creamy. I shouldn't had added the egg yolk cheese macchiato. I couldn't taste the tea at all. It felt like I was drinking cream. The egg yolk cheese macchiato truly taated like egg yolks! The staff were very nice and helpful. They explained to me that macchiato here is not the same as a traditional one. In fact it's nothing like a traditional macchiato. There's no expresso and no steamed milk. The macchiato here means cream. I thought it was odd when I saw all the staff whispering and examining a prepared drink. When I realized it was mine, I went up to them and asked if something was wrong. They looked nervous and one of them tried to explain to me that they were worry about the egg yolk cheese macchiato on top. Honestly I didn't fully understand the explanation. I just asked if it was edible and they said it was. So I took it and left.

It was great. Not too sweet and not too bland. I was in a hurry but seems like it's taking time, but understandable because I order it night time and was a little bit late at night so maybe they were tired. But tastes is really good.

I hope the owner can see this review . I am so disappointed how the taste of the noodles are so different the one at 63rd st . And the bubble tea tastes so bland . Lao You Feng that I just ordered tasted so bland too. Please focus your business either on drinks or food. Don't screw both of them. ----- Updated : Now I am glad they make much better food than before .

This takeout has ok drinks but noodles are disgusting made me feel sick do not reccomend they are expensive and not worth the price 10 dollars for a small meal and 6 dollars for 1 drink

I came here like 5 or 6 times, but I ordered the same drink for 3 times out of the visits; each time it tasted different. The noodles tasted different each time too, although I ordered the same one. The workers are nice, but some of them do curse a lot while working (not to customers but to other coworkers) and I saw some playing poker cards during work

Ordered from UberEats. I got beef w Szechuan pepper hot pot medium spicy, small order comes w small rice. The portion were big enough for me to eat as 2 meals. It comes w generous amount of beef and assorted vegetables. Definitely my favorite dry hot pot so far.

They have perfected bubble tea. My favorite in NYC! They have the best, freshest ingredients and tea. Their tapioca pearls are the actual best of any bubble tea I have had in the states. You can tell how fresh they are and it makes a huge difference. As a tea drinker, I can't tell you how much I appreciate their tea selections. Also that you can choose how much sugar to add!!! I get tea here a lot more often than other places because I can remove sugar from it!

Now In Cha is doing promotion until 1/1/20, free any drink with purchase of 1 main entree(e.g guilin noodle ), I ordered Taro with Brown Sugar and beef guilin noodle, both are good, just don't forget to add chilie hot oil sauce to the noodle, it tastes a lot better with hot oil.

The owner was so greedy cuz when I walked in for a pork rice noodle, they charged me $9.25 but I checked the menu and online menu price with HungryPanda, it states $8 only.

It is the best drink place to go. The store always comes out new drinks to surprise me. The ingredients are so fresh as always. Highly recommended...

The Guilin noodles here are on point which I usually get for delivery. The noodles are nice and chewy and they give a decent amount of meat and toppings. The teas were OK, I usually order delivery for the noodles. Their scallion pancakes are also quite good.

If you need a good hangout area this is definitely the place to go.Delicious food and drinks.Its super casual and the area is very clean.The employees are very nice.The drinks are the perfect balance of sweetness and boba milk tea.

So I guess this place just recently opened so everything is a bit messy . I came in today wanting to try out their bubble tea, the girl that took my order was about to give me someone else's order until I told her it's not mine . Then they forgot about my drink , someone who came in later than me got their drinks already which I was a bit annoyed . I ONLY ordered one drink . After a bit of a wait while I see them finally making it , they messed it up and poured everything out to redo it . At this point I'm like I just want my drink and go. So I was literally the only person waiting for her drink now . When I finally got it I didn't even try it and left . When I finally try it I was amazed how watery it taste . It's basically watered down so hard with a bit of tea taste . Their boba is really soft but that's about it .

Decided to give this place a try tonight Customer service was great but,when I got home with my order...there was a hair in my food.Yuck.Bad first impression. .

Well I ve been to the place twice in a week and ordered 5 different drinks. For the first time I wanted to order the popular one which is black sugar milk tea and other cheese milk tea , all sold out..... and fine I got the basic green milk tea and it was so disappointed even they were doing the promotion buy one get the sec half price. Since I really try the best one they ve suggested I was giving out the last chance with a big hope, ordered black sugar milk tea and cheese mango ... and I would tell those are ok but I'm sure that would be my last time there.

I when this place today, they just open for two days. there fresh taro brown sugar bubble milk tea are very good!

The food is good. But they do not give sauce without asking. The food without sauce is such as shit!!! Disappointed at tHis time!!

The flavors weren't overbearing or too strong, it felt just right! Best bubble tea place in the area ! Tea are always refreshing, Must try their egg yolk cheese, it's a perfect match when you having a bubble tea experience, and the bubbles were consistency too ( they didn't feel like we were chewing cold gummy bears like a lot of other bubble tea place)

This place becomes my favorite spot in the neighborhood. Today is my first time here, they introduced me to their new product "want want bubble four season", I usually don't like my milk tea being too sweet, this is perfect balance. Great service and good vibe. I will definitely come back and try other drinks.

The first time I heard that I spent more than 20 dollar, I had to charge extra for the card. It is unreasonable. If you want to do this, then you can write not accept credit card. This is robber logic

I would give this restaurant a zero star if I could. Their soup is tasteless. I don't think they put one drop of salt in their soup. I don't usually leave review on yelp, but this is unacceptable. I don't think I've been to a worse restaurant in Brooklyn.

It tasted so good, milk and brown sugar are perfect match, I like brown sugar bubble tea. This one become my favor now, the best I try in New York. It's my sixth time to buy drinks from here. Never feel regret to drink. And my family like it, too.

Friendly staff, good drinks, and comfortable environment. We ordered the lemonade four season and the taro milk tea with bubble. The bubbles was on point being soft and chewy all in the right way.

In this restaurant, the noodle is very good. There is a lot of noodle and the drink over there is very good and very cheap. I love the milk tea that is so good.

The first time I went to this store, its decoration was simple and elegant. It have more than 40 variety for you,I tried a cup of grapefruit green tea. It has a strong tea fragrance and it tastes refreshing. I like it very much. This tea shop also has authentic Guilin rice noodles，is one of my favorites, I recommend this InCha tea shop. I will go back and try other flavors of tea and have my favorite noodles.

New bubble tea place on 7th ave. To be honest it was nothing special. Just like the rest of them on 8th ave. I love tapioca drinks and still haven't found a go to spot around 8th ave, even with all of them around. To be honest if you're not a critic then you can go to any boba/tapioca spot on 8th ave and be content/satisfied.

Was hesitant to try this place since it only have three stars but nothing was open around the time so decided to give it a shot and I have to say it's the worst milk I ever had!! I had better milk teas from regular bakery.

The drink was just okay. But the service was awful. I was standing in front of the counter tried to order my drink. I looked at one of the staffs, she saw me BUT she just looked away and then turned her back on me. If you don't like this job, then quit. Don't give customers that attitude. Also, they made my drink wrong.

Omg! This restaurant is a joke! I order food last night at this place. It comes with a few chunk of meat and full of freaking nasty potatoes . It cost around $10. The taste of the food is like the chef just scoop in a whole ladle of salt or MSG in it. I totally freak out how can they served food like this??? Salty like hell. I think that's how they try to sell their drink!!!!

Came here during soft opening and it was very busy which I take as a good sign. I ordered the milk tea with tapioca and the drink was good. Service was great and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The place also sells hot food which makes it convenient, definitely would come back again to try their other drinks.

I've been here a few times already. So sad to see they don't have more stars. Everytime I've been there so far, the staff have been nice and the drinks have been so good. When I try a new bubble tea spot I always get my staple Black Milk Tea with Bubbles. It's good here but the drink that had me come back for more was the Fresh Taro Milk. I would have this for breakfast everyday if I could. It was filling and delicious. I've brought my kids and friends here as well and we've tried the Brown Sugar Bubble Milk drink (sooo good that I drink it way too fast, even the bubbles), Mango Tea w/Coconut Jelly (my son's favorite), Yakult Lemonade (good for the kiddies, I like it too lol), Pineapple Passion Tea (so refreshing and I love the pineapple pulp, also not too sweet) and recently I tried the Lychee Four Seasons Tea (this may be a new favorite because I love the small chunks of lychees and it's also so refreshing and not too sweet.) What sets this Bubble Tea shop apart from the rest are the fresh ingredients particularly in the fruit teas and the tapioca bubbles are so soft and not too chewy. They also have food here, unfortunately I've only tried the Guilin Style Rice Noodles. The thin slices of meat were good and I really like the pickled string beans. I have seen other customers sitting at tables with different dishes and they all look delicious! Anytime I am in the neighborhood I will definitely be making a stop here.

I have never eaten brown sugar bubble, and I try to drink roast macchiato Brown sugar Bubble milk. It tastes really good. Don't skip this place, 熔岩黑糖厚醇乳 is really good.
