My first experience with Taste of Lahore was in Hammersmith, where I was staying nearby. I have to highlight this branch because it left such a strong impression. It seems to be run by a small family, a father and son, and I only found out later that it is part of a franchise. Despite that, it has the warmth and charm of an independent place. The space is small, clean, and inviting, with a friendly team that makes it feel personal rather than commercial.
The keema was excellent, rich and full of flavour, and the chicken with chips and sauce was outstanding. I still crave that dish every time I go to Taste of Lahore. The food has a freshness and balance that many similar places miss.
It is also one of the more stylish Pakistani restaurants in London, modern in look but not overdone. The setting adds to the experience, giving it an intimate, relaxed feel that suits the food perfectly.
Overall, this Hammersmith branch is a real gem and easily one of my favourite Pakistani spots in London. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something authentic, satisfying, and welcoming.
