My husband and I started coming to this location when the one on 2nd AVE closed down. We had been going to the other location for at least 6 years so we knew most of the staff. Coming this location, we were so impressed. It is an extremely well oiled machine. The line might be long when you walk in, but it moves FAST. The staff is friendly and efficient. The patties are constantly coming out fresh and the spice is the perfect level of heat. The coco bread is so soft and I love all of the fresh juices The sugar bun is also top tier! We will be regular customers here from now on. Highly highly recommend this place for authentic and fresh Jamaican patties.

I have been a resident of Miami Gardens for 40+ years. Taste Rite adds value and flavor to the community. I have eaten at every Jamaican restaurant in this area and hands down they serve the most delicious patties- always warm, flaky, and full of flavor down to the last bite! I love the variety they offer. This place is the go to for patties and their red pea soup when you are in the neighborhood. My personal favorite is the fish patty. On occasion you may even be able to have fresh, all natural cane juice made to order if “Hurry Cane” the juice man is in the neighborhood!

The patties were fresh and hot. I also bought rum and raisin cake and banana bread. That's the first time I heard of rum and raisin cake; it really taste like rum and raisin ice cream. I will definitely visit again.

Ordered four dozen patties for an event- beef, jerk chicken and vegetarian. Tried them a week prior and loved them. Called in the morning and they had them ready right on time. Warm and flaky. Professional and courteous service. But most importantly delicious! My go to place for patties when I have events.

Why would anyone go anywhere else for patties? When in FL ah dis the patty shop you need to go to. Man ah sell cane juice outside and everything. Give me 2 dozen veggie patty next time mi touch the road.

This place has very rude cashier and workers. I walked in to two women, one sitting down and one standing directly behind the counter on her phone the entire time completely ignoring me. Although I greeted them nicely, I had to ask out loud if someone can please help me after 2 minutes. Not only did she give attitude as if she hated working there, but there were flies flying all around the place. Nasty place with nasty people working there, unwelcoming.

I first heard about this place on TikTok and initially went to their location in the plaza, only to find out they were moving. Luckily, I discovered this spot just down the street which is even closer to me! Although the space is small with no seating inside, the service is incredibly quick, and the staff is genuinely friendly. And the patties? Absolutely phenomenal and at a great price! So far, I’ve tried the jerk, callaloo, ackee, and chicken patties, and each one has been delicious. And trust me, you have to get the coco bread with it, it’s the perfect combo. Highly recommend!

. . The place is small. They only allowed a small number of people in at a time. The place has a sign outside. The sign read that marks are required inside. This location is a pick-up only. To my surprise they are well stocked with none stop Jamaican Patties. They have more options to the fillings here. The crust is good. I liked them.
