Conroe has so many great restaurants! Taste the Asian is in a very convenient location right by the courthouse and across from the red brick tavern. I went today for the first time and my meal was phenomenal! I got the sampler platter and the dragon fruit lemonade! Both were delicious and I had fried rice and noodles leftover (which is very rare for me because I eat A LOT). The sampler platter came with noodles or fried rice (I got both), 2 chicken potstickers, 1 shrimp cake, 1 shrimp tempura, 1 rice ball, 1 pork egg roll, and 1 veggie spring roll. They also gave me a special deal (I don’t know how long they will do this) where if I got a lemonade as well the lemonade would only be 4 dollars AND they would throw in another side of my choice for free so I got a second pork egg roll. Overall the sampler platter is a great choice for trying a lot of their options. I got my food to-go and waited less than 10 minutes, there was no wait to order at around 3:30pm. High quality to-go box, perfect amount of sauces and napkins in the bag and silverware. ALSO the staff were incredibly friendly and the aesthetics and atmosphere were nice. Overall no notes. Absolutely great restaurant.

We went and ordered 3 items. The sampler, the Jaun tacos and, the elote fries. After we placed our order and paid, they let us know they were out of tortillas. We said thats fine and they allowed us to change the order. We went with the porkbelly sliders with noodles. It started to get busy and there was only one gentleman working. We got our food and went home. I was bummed to see that we didnt get the porkbelly slidders but mamá noodles instead. Thats fine. He likely miss heard me when I changed the order, it happens. But what really bothered me was the elote fries. It was just fries with cheese and hot sauce. I definitely didnt pay $12 for fries with cheese and valentino. The sampler was great but the mamá noodles was just a bowl of noodles no egg. Honestly, they were super nice but I dont want to spend $40+ on food that isnt what I ordered.

I ordered the Sampler platter, had a lot of good flavors. It was a perfect lunch portion, favorite was the fish cake. My husband got the mama noodles and loved it. More than plenty of beef. We also LOVED their lemonade would recommend ordering with your food as it’s sweet and refreshing.

Absolutely yummy! Love coming here even when she just had her food truck at events. The pizza egg rolls are to die for and the pot stickers where very very good. We also tried the MAMA Noodles and my husband at that up! Coming again very soon. Sincerely a 6 months pregnant lady!

Out at the Bonfire at Texas Renaissance Festival, I was carving something sweet. I searched all the food options and the only ones that has a dessert option is Taste the Asian. I ordered the dessert Red Velvet and Chocolate Egg Rolls. 10/10 RECOMMEND!! OMG DELICIOUS!!!!! One of my new favorite desserts.

First time coming to this tiny cool shop. They have limited seating so it’s great for a grab and go. The food was amazing. Beth recommended the sampler plater to get the best experience of food. I got a side of the Flaming Balls( Hot Cheeto boudin balls. As I was about to leave she mentioned the had a red velvet cake egg roll. I said yes immediately. Wish there was the whip cream frosting. But still worth it. Very creative. 😎 Beth also was testing a egg roll filled with jambalaya. That was absolutely gold. I hope that makes the menu even if for a limited time. They were fire. 🔥

Got the Sampler Plate came with everything all in one plate! Everything tasted so good! Service was perfect was greeted minutes after coming in and was given suggestions off the back! Will come back again.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but Taste the Asian blew me away. The food is creative, flavorful, and honestly addictive! I tried the Hot Cheetos Boudin Balls and they were spicy and cheesy —crispy on the outside with that bold Cajun twist inside. The Shrimp Fried Rice was loaded and seasoned perfectly, not greasy like most places. I also had the Texas Rangoon (think crab rangoon but next-level!) and a Shrimp Patty that was packed with flavor and super juicy. Everything came out hot and fresh, and the staff was friendly and quick. You can really tell they put love into their food.
