Tastee Ice

A local favorite that gets busier than you would expect for a snow cone place, but they have other snacks as well. Sometimes the drive through line goes out into the street! They have a large selection of flavors and other add ons to make your perfect creation. My favorite so far is the cherry cola plunge, which is cherry cola snow cone with vanilla ice cream. I'm pretty sure they use Blue Bell ice cream. YUM! 😙👌 They only take cash or cash app I think.

I wanted to save some gas by stopping here because it was up the street instead of South Dallas but I see why i should’ve made the trip because this place has No flavor Koolaid pickles are not marinated pickles are still sour not sweet I’ve had sweeter just seem made with no love. everything felt rushly made the slushie is low on flavor i will not be returning. Then the ice was not fully shaved down it was still tiny chunks they might need a new machine n the machine look like it don’t get cleaned.

I love these snowcones. Ice is so soft. Many tastee flavors. Prices are normal. We drive from Cedar Hill to come get these snowcones. By the time we make it home, it's all gone. Everyone is also nice.

I went through the drive through at this TRIPLE digit weather 🥵. I ordered the tiger blood with cream (I love vanilla flavoring). It was soft ice 🧊 and super delicious. This wasn’t exaggerating on the intensely sweet flavors. I didn’t feel as guilty eating this one and it still go the job done. I got a size medium which I didn’t think I would finish but… I did! Get out there folks, local to Grand Prairie. Support small businesses!! Cash or CashApp ONLY

I'd remembered growing up in the area as kid walking pass what was an empty parking lot. Until one day, after school, while walking pass that same lot I've noticed a small house being built... I didn't know what it was as kid, but I was curious to find out. On different days throughout the week I started to keep my eye on that little house as I walked pass by and everytime I noticed something was added to it every day: a little bit of color here and there, a window and a sign. Then finally, one day, I noticed it had people stopping by; and there were crowds of people who were eating ice from a cup. Since then, I've wanted to go but never went. I ended up switching schools and life itself just kept me from ever going. Until now... It's been twenty years and I finally made it back home to stop by this little house that I walked pass by but never had the chance to eat anything. Dreams do come true... Sometimes it just takes awhile. 😊

Love this place! Great price and great quality. My to go to order is a small sal y limon with picadili and Kool aid. If you are more of a savory person then I highly recommend it!

Dear owner.... This is 2025. Why do you run your business like it's 1975 where people pay in exact change? The general public does not typically carry a wallet full of ones and a coin jar.

They are a cash only but they do accept cash app so keep that in mind which now the new normal I had the lemon lime with the “plunge” and it was the best snow cone of the summer

Great Great prices and sizes! no other snow come place will beat this!! I had to go to another one night and the pice was $4 for a smaller size then i would get here for $2.50. Flavors are great too! & they have some other nice treats as well! just don't forget cash!

Got to say their been around for years. Great service price and snow cones. I'd strongly recommend the wild cherry. Very refreshing. And they open late. Friendly staff. You don't be sorry.

We stop by here after we visit one of the Arlington play pools. This is my favorite snow cone place. If you are familiar with Italian Water Ices these are the closest thing. Super "creamy" shaved ice and the syrups are good quality. Prices are cheap. Always have to remember cash but well worth it. Nachos are an extra treat and only $2.50 for the super cheesy treat. Warning if your kid gets blueberry they will have major stained mouth and tongue. Tiger blood is delicious. And I need to try the other Fun Flavor combos. Haven't got any mixins like the plunge but did have the cream. FYI The cream is the traditional Latin thick condensed milk cream not the syrupy milky cream.

Fast and cheap. My blue coconut was really good but it came out more liguid than icy. They use the good cream and not that thick stuff from a can.

This place is getting a little bit too popular for me. The line as of late has been really long, but that's besides the point. Best snow cones ever!!! It's not that hard rock with different food coloring that other snow clone places serve, this is like eating little spoonfuls of heaven. Get tutti fruit!! It's the best flavor or tigers blood. The numbers of options available is ridiculous! You can never be bored. The only down side to this place is that they ONLY take cash and the bill has to be smaller than 20.

We ordered 3 snow cones and some nachos. The snow cones were delicious and the young lady at the window was very nice and fast with our order.

Best shaved ice I have ever had. Super fine and lots of syrup. Great service and quick for a large group. We will be back again !!

Best snow cones in Arlington Definitely try a snow cone with a plunge (vanilla ice cream in the middle) or a Piccadilly (snow cone with chopped pickles inside and on top with koolaid sprinkled on top) !!!! It takes the snow come to another level!

It's an alright snow cone place. I wish the service was better. It's a good stop after a long day outside. I recommend you guy for the snow ones but not the service.

People working here are so dry and rude everytime I visit. Sucks this one is closest to me. Recently, I bought a sno cone and was adjusting my radio in the drive thru, the guy at the window started cursing at me to move my car like a maniac. It was so weird, I'm actually going to drive across town from this point forward. I officially hate this location, they're rude and the pickle dilly isn't prepared right.

I love this place! Best snow cones in town. I always get a watermelon picadilly with cool aid and chamoy. They have different options of what you can add on your snow cone

Love! Love! This place you will have plenty of snow cone syrup in your cone and the ice is shave down nicely no big chunks... it's also cash only which isn't a big deal for me...my favorites are Tiger's Blood, Blue Coconut, & Banana Yuuum! Give it a try you won't be disappointed!... you can expect long lines but if you don't you're in luck!

Tastee Ice is my favorite! I'm a major snow cone fan and my top two are Tastee Ice and Snowflake Factory. Usually I go to the Tastee Ice in Grand Prairie but decided to venture to this location since I was in Arlington getting some Pollo Regio. Service was prompt and prices are exactly the same as the other location. Snow cones are the same too...very tastee. Two tips: 1) Don't come at night if you dislike sketchy neighborhoods. 2) Bring cash because they don't accept cards.

Quick stop for shaved ice with many flavors to choose from. Questionable neighborhood so if you're concerned for your safety, don't go after dark. This stand only takes cash as long as the bills are not larger than $20.

On a hot day, this snow cone cools you down. I am loyal to Tiger's Blood and I love that they always have it. Plus they have kool-aid flavored pickles, try one just for fun!!

Says it in the name, but I'll further confirm it " It's Tasty!" It's the perfect frozen treat on a hot day adult or kid. The shaved ice combinations are unique and endless. It's reasonably priced, portions are generous and extremely fulfilling on a hot day. The addition of the Mexican flavors is a nice touch because they are delicious and not yet mainstream. Overall, the customer service is amazing. The staff is friendly and efficient at what they do... consistently working to clear the line and more than willing to offer you a delicious sample before you commit to a flavor choice. It's become one of my go to spots!

Not giving 5 stars just because they don't accept cards! Ugh! It sucks to have to go into one of the gas stations nearby just to get charged to get cash out, so annoying. So I only go on the rare occasion that I have any cash on me. Boooo! Its not that hard to get one of those card swiper things you can plug on your phone at least, cause I am assuming it could get expensive to buy the actual credit card machine... Anywho I am dreading the looong lines that are already starting to form cause it gets hot here some days. It's worth it! Love their snowcones!

I'm soooooo sad! This place USED to be the BOMB! My first snow cone of the year had NO flavoring. When they handed me my cup and it was so light, I KNEW it was going to be bad. I have been going here for years and it was such a disappointment. RIP

Best snow cones ever! I wait all winter for one of these! Get the plunge (ice cream in the center) and add cream for an extra indulgence. They also have other treats for a great snack.

I have nothing but good things to say about all Tastee Ices. They have the best prices. Their syrups are delicious, perfect sweetness and they do not skimp on them. Their ice is perfect, never a chunky dry snow cone from them. They are consistently great at all 3 locations.

Best in Arlington!! I agree-long lines. Waiting in 5 car deep on Friday @ 2:38pm! But worth the wait!
