Brought me and my friend to get 2⃣ breakfast Burrito. 2 coffees. And the food is real good. My wife mona always got our Breakfast and lunch. And she will bring it home for us. But my wife passed away o. September 14 2024 from cancer. My wife love there food. I will miss my wife always. But I still go here And get. My breakfast and lunch. You will love the food. Great place and a lot of love there.

I’ve been coming to this donut shop for over 6 years, and it’s hands down one of my favorite places in Pasadena! While their donuts are great, what keeps me coming back is their bacon breakfast burrito—it’s simply the best in town! Every bite is packed with flavor, perfectly cooked bacon, fluffy eggs, and just the right amount of cheese and potatoes. It’s hearty, satisfying, and always fresh. If you’re looking for a spot to grab a delicious breakfast burrito (or a sweet treat), I can’t recommend this place enough. The friendly service and cozy atmosphere are just the icing on the cake. Do yourself a favor and check them out—you won’t regret it!

Yummy local donut shop. We live in Burbank but likes to get donuts here from time to time or whenever we can. Soft and tasty.

One of the best "mom & pop" burger spots still around. Burgers are big and tasty, and they are generous with their fries. The icing on the cake is the donuts; just make sure to get there early, cause the popular variations will run out.

These people still charged me 50 cents for using under $10 debit card which is illegal in California since July 2024. Anyone going there take a picture of the sign post for .50 cents surcharge on debit card or let office of consumer affairs know and file a complaint!

The doughnuts are really good I just think paying over $20 dollars for a dozen is a bit much .

Top tier local donut shop! Had seen the great reviews for this place but had avoided it because im not the biggest fan of big crowds. Glad that I finally decided to stop by. Coworker and I stopped by before work at around 7am, by that time it was already packed with a line out the door! The vibes are definitely local favorite mom and pop type place. You can tell people come here everyday and have been doing so for years; the interaction between employees and guests is great here it's like everybody knows each other. Staff is very very efficient for how busy they are and they are also very kind! Unfortunately they don't take tips because I know their jar would be overflowing! We ordered a bacon breakfast burrito and donuts. The bacon breakfast burrito is only $9 which is a freakin steal in today's economy, especially because they pack it!!! I came back the next day for the same thing ngl.... As for the donuts, they were the perfect fluffy, pillowy, moist texture with the perfect amount of sweetness! Highly recommend, I came back the literal next day and will be back many more times!

Great donuts, great dough, they put a lot of topping, and large variety donuts. And the donuts are huge!! The dough does not get stale. donuts still good 2 to 3 days later, which is rare in a lot of donuts. We got 6 for 10 bucks, which can sound like a lot, but they are big donuts, you could share one with two people. The service is outstanding, super nice. The place is cool like a mom-and-pop family-owned business vibe. Definitely gonna go back to try other breakfast and burger items. Dragon Egg approved.

Been going here for years!!! Always fresh. My faves are the ham & cheese croissants with and without jalapeños, cinnamon roll, apple fritter and donut holes. Hubby goes for the plain & mom coconut or glazed donuts. Although they are all delicious. This is my go to!!!

Best donut shop in Dena! Plus the got fire breakfast burrito with some salsa that just hits the spot. A Must try if you are in the neighborhood visiting or a local. Service is great and fast. Little shop but huge flavor all around

This place was packed! The donuts were delicious. Our favorite donut is the Apple fritter. Definitely one of the best Apple fritters we've tasted. Other donuts were good too. They have a variety of food. We will be back to try the hamburger.

For my first time going here I did not have such a good experience as the employees were rude. I saw the reviews that this place was the best but tbh it was not all that. I ordered an egg sandwhich and egg bagel and according to the prices they were less than $5 each but when it was time to pay they charged me $18 dollars for those two things I was shocked because that's so expensive for two basic breakfast sandwiches. Definitely do not recommend.

Went to go try this place for the 1st time. However was greeted by rude employees who aggressively told me to get out their store cause its closed. Mind you the doors were wide open and no "close" sign was up @ 7pm, when their business hours on yelp shows they close at 9pm. Highly wouldn't recommend this establishment.

Their glazed donuts are my favorite. Light and airy and lots of glaze. I prefer them to Randy's and all the other big names.

From Pasadena and this place has always been a hit with good food. The breakfast burritos are freshly made and really good. It's pretty busy in the morning with traffic from people grabbing food before work. On that note be prepared to wait a little, but it's worth the wait. Also, try the fish burger it's bomb and taste so good and not over cooked.

The best donuts in Pasadena period a great cheeseburger, bacon cheeseburger, and the prices are good now they only accept cash. But that's a good thing always a great place to go get breakfast, not a fact I'm gonna stop in the morning.

This place is a jewel in the Pasadena area. From there burgers to breakfast burritos are delicious. Also have tasty donuts. Love , love the apple frites, they sell fast. Prices are reasonable for what you get. I been going there for twenty years. Highly recommend!

This is a gem! It's a Mom and pop place serving up not only delicious donuts but scrumptious burgers as well. I've never come and there not be customers inside or lined up to order. The sign near the entrance requests you mind each customer's 6ft of social distancing as well as stay masked up otherwise you will not receive service and will be removed from the store. Their donuts are fantastic and, to me, will always be more of a treat than Dunkin' or KK's. If you're in the area, definitely stop by. D E L I C I O U S !!!!

CASH ONLY Surprisingly DELICIOUS FOOD Very popular spot. Recommend phoning in your order. You'll still have to wait in line, but it will be ready at least. The best BREAKFAST BURRITO around.

Great donuts, freshly made croissants and muffins! Everything tastes great! Made fresh daily!

My favorite item is a ham & cheese croissant with jalapeño if it's available. I requested my croissant to be warmed up and it was melted cheese deliciousness. They had a great selection of donuts too.

Best doughnuts around. Their chorizo breakfast burrito cant be beat. Always a line in the morning and bring cash. Five stars.

BEST and ONLY donut spot I go to! donuts are always fresh and tasty not only is the donuts good but the breakfast items as well my go to is the breakfast burritos, but make sure to call it in cause it gets really busy in the mornings.

It's the nostalgia for me. Early Sunday mornings before church with my dad. My usual: a sprinkled cake donut and chocolate milk. That was in the early 2000s. Nowadays, the order is still the same and the smiles I'm greeted with are ever warm. This spot still has the best recipes for their donuts--they're fresh and flavorful. Seating is limited, so still a grab and go spot, but worth the morning (or afternoon) stop.

This little neighborhood donut shop is a hidden gem. The donuts are always fresh and fluffy and the service is awesome. Whenever I show up with donuts at work, people flock to my office/meetings. I gave their donuts as a take-away thank you gift for a party and received tons of calls asking where I got the donuts from. Everyone loves them! Tastees food (breakfast, burgers, etc.) are really good too. One of my neighbors says they have the best burger in town. The line can be long, but they whip people through there without you ever feeling rushed. Prices are reasonable too and they are much better than "gourmet" donut shops.

Horrible customer service. Makes me sad that they rather lose a client with their horrible attitudes. I'm disappointed, that's what I get for trying to support small local businesses. How sad.

Best donut shop out there. A hidden Pasadena Gem. My personal favorite item is there breakfast burritos. Best burrito for the money I've had in my life. Their homemade red sauce is so good I wish I could bathe in it. The staff are super nice and friendly when you get to know them. Can't stress enough how awesome and underrated this place is.

The Donuts! The best thing about this place is their mediocre donuts, theyre okay at best. you want to pay $20 for a dozen? This is your place! You want to be greeted by rude cashiers? This is the place! Want to get told that you can pretty much leave because irs cash only! This is the place. Want a some stale coffee at 8am that's probably from a sunday? This is the place. I can already tell you the only people who frequent here are the locals who are on their way to work, or because they live a stones throw near. Other than that save your money drive to another donut shop where they care. These workers taking your orders here are upset that they have to work they are upset that they get busy, its like you're bothering them with your money and order. The donuts are okay at best but $20 for a dozen?! Come on Kripsy Kremes has a cheaper dozen! Make it make sense.

My friends recommended this place to me for their breakfast burritos and donuts. I was highly disappointed with both. In Pasadena you have lucky boy and Tops as well as a plethora of other options. I was hoping they could be that good. They where not. I use a standard glaze donut has my measuring stick. While these donuts where incredibly soft, the flavor was off for some reason. I prefer Golden Donuts for my local dozen.

These donuts are still the best in LA!! I honestly don't want to ever move from Pasadena because I needs to be walking distance to these freshass dones! They're AMAZING.

Cash only. This is the best doughnut place in the area imo. The prices are great and they offer a nice selection. I haven't tried the food, but it seems very popular. I'd say the crowd is 50/50 mixed with half coming for doughnuts and the other half for food. I just moved to the area so this place hit the spot.

My beloved Tastees, you've always come in clutch for me so I must return the favor! I've been coming here for 3 years now and the affordability and quality remain top-notch. This place is super close to my house, so I stroll over before noon (they stop serving breakfast at 12pm) to grab a hearty bacon breakfast burrito. I love that this a local mom-and-pop establishment and the environment has always been warm and friendly. My favorite is the maple bar, but all of the flavors I've tasted have impressed me. I like that the dough is sooo perfect and soft and heavenly. Back to the bacon breakfast burrito--something about the tortilla makes it so delicious and the ratio of hashbrown to egg to bacon to cheese is SO on-point. I always ask for light cheese and the red sauce on the side. I love spice, but it definitely brings the heat so I only put a little bit at a time. How do you do that, Tastees?! Keep doing what you're doing. You have my heart. My only fear is that the hipsters will catch on and you'll no longer be my secret spot. (cash only but there's a Chase bank in the shopping center)

Tastees Donut & Burger has been a part of the Pasadena Community for over two decades. This establishment has been giving the joy of freshly made donuts since I can remember. I can say with confidence that this business is a hidden gem. It goes without saying that the donuts are made early in the morning and I've never bitten into a donut that has tasted stale or bland. Each bite is always rich, moist, and fluffy. These sugary, confectionary, goodies are always great as an office treat. Come here if you have a sweet tooth, too. .."I DONUT want just ONE, when TWO will DO!!! Finding those amazingly delicious light and fluffy glazed donuts are rare. So, I'm disappointed when there stale or the glaze cracks off after the first bite. These are warm, chewy and rich in sugar. Compliment these with a great cup of coffee and it just starts off the day perfectly. So, quit worrying about the extra calories and indulge your naughty pleasures and enjoy!

Cash only? No sign anywhere ordered 18 donuts just to be told cash only... this is the 21st century they'd get so much more business if they'd change that..

Really good cheeseburgers! This little restaurant tucked away in a mall anchored by Vallarta is a wonderful surprise. If you want fast food, but you are sick of giant multi-franchises, give them a try!

This place has really good donuts but the food is not so great. First thing, a breakfast burrito took 20 minutes to get. That is unheard of in a fast food place like this. It was not very bland and tasteless. And lastly, they only take cash! What kind of restaurant still doesn't take card?

Started going here after their closer sister store suffered damage from a nearby fire. Missed them and was happy to have found Tastees! They're the best!!! Not too greasy or so fatty tasting that it coats the roof of your mouth. High quality donuts, and the staff is always on it and welcoming.

I always see a line out the door in the mornings! Had to check this place out. I'm glad I did because I was craving a ham and cheese croissant. They definitely looked different than the ones I'm used to, but the first bite into it was delightful. Fluffy and airy inside, I almost felt I punctured the croissant as I took a bite into it. You can see the thick slice of ham and the cheese oozing out. I got 2 croissants and a small coffee for a little over $6! CHEAP! CASH ONLY!!!!

After reading so many good reviews about their breakfast burritos I finally tried one. I had the bacon hashbrown and egg, salsa on the side. The tortilla was really good, but the hashbrowns were undercooked and under-seasoned. The eggs also needed salt. A really good salsa (with salt) would have helped, but the red sauce was spicy but not much else going on with it. Overall, a very mediocre breakfast burrito. Quite disappointing. I may give their bagel breakfast sandwich a try, with ham.

The best glaze doughnuts ever. They're light airy and if you're lucky enough to get them while they're still warm it's pure delight! I don't get doughnuts often but always from Tastees!!!

I just saw the review and pictures of the hot chocolate with the worms in it from this place. Can someone from this establishment please reach out and let us know what the heck happened? That review alone makes me want to stay away now. I've never had an incident like that here before, I've really enjoy the donuts in the past and my dad before he died used to being us all the time, but insects in the food/drinks is where I draw the line.

Our PTA crew, which includes Robyn Wong treated us to the most delicious bacon and sausage burritos and donuts for staff appreciation at Emerson Elementary in Rosemead. Everything was awesome and delicious.

This is a busy doughnut shop on weekends and apparently on weekday mornings. My buddy swears by their breakfast burritos. Cooked to order literally, (they don't precook the bacon and hash browns like other places), the burritos are fresh and not greasy. The salsa is spicy so unless you can handle the heat, order it on the side and use sparingly. The burrito is just the right size without getting overstuffed with cholesterol. We also ordered a couple of doughnuts. I had a chocolate buttermilk and my bud had the chocolate custard. Both were good. A solid choice for breakfast.

I've been coming here since the original tastees. The donuts are tasty, and the food is solid. Not much to say it's a simple spot and the name says it all. If you're not getting donuts, don't come here if you're in a rush.

Thus far in my search for epic breakfast burritos, Tastees is likely the oddest place I've found myself. This "Donut and Burger" place popped up in a few Yelp searches and the reviews seemed favorable, but I disagree. Compared to many others, this is a small burrito. I got mine with bacon, and it also came with hashbrowns, cheese, hot sauce, and egg. The hot sauce was good, but the burrito was just boring. The hashbrowns and egg were both in need of seasoning and I wish there was more egg (or that it was distributed better). The place was busy but I received my food in a decent amount of time. For a little more than 5 bucks, I got an "eh" burrito and an amazingly fresh and delicious donut. Definitely come for donuts, but skip the breakfast. I guess that's why it's not called "Tastees Breakfast, Donut, & Burger"!
