Decided to give them a try because my favorite, Sweet Surrender, was closed. Ordered a german chocolate cake and eight sugar cookies with frosting on the side. Both tasted great and everyone enjoyed! But the overall service was terrible, which is the main reason why I will not be returning. Most of what I ordered didn't translate to the order form, which I felt like I was blamed for. Baker calls the day of at 1pm to confirm that I ordered a chocolate cake, as listed on the order form. I clarified that I ordered a german chocolate cake with walnuts around the rim, which by the way ended up having chocolate frosting around the rim. Staff calls the day of at 4:30pm and asks when I'd be arriving, as they'd be closing early (they often have notes on their door indicating that they are closing early for random reasons). I explained that I was running a little behind (life and traffic) but would arrive by 5pm. When I arrived, cookies were not bagged and tied. Staff member immediately looks at the order form and says with an attitude, "She didn't put that on the order form and she didn't charge you for it either." A different staff member comes up and agrees that she can bag and tie the cookies. Initial staff member proceeds to tell me with an attitude, "That'll be two dollars." (25 cents for each bag) Two dollars people! I would've paid twenty dollars more for an accurate order. Lastly, as I'm leaving, the other staff member brings me my items and says with an attitude, "Goodbye." I think I was an inconvenience for them closing early on a Friday evening. Overall, it appeared that they have inexperienced staff who didn't have the most customer friendly attitude.
