One of the only restaurants with readymade baba ganoush in the area, despite being in Little Yemen. They made a pretty good chicken shawarma as well. Staff is nice and accommodating. They have an expansive menu, so looking forward to trying their other items next time. A lot of seating is available as well. Definitely a great local spot for Arabic food.

This is my favorite place when it comes to getting some hot food that tastes delicious. I have been coming here since they opened back in 2021 I believe and the service here is amazing. However, the price has gone up significantly over the years which is understandable given the fact that we are living in inflated economy. But I recommend this place.

This was my first time and the food was Awesome (chefs kiss). I will definitely be coming back. The shawama wrap with lamb was so tender and you can taste it was freshly made. Even the owner came over and spoke to us and it so cool and friendly. Definitely my new spot!

Me and my friend was looking for a place to eat. We thought to give Tasty Choice a try since the reviews were good and the photos that were posted showed a clean and friendly atmosphere. Our expectations were blown out the water. The staff were very welcoming and the food they served were wide and many. The prices were very affordable and the restaurant was clean. Our lunch time outing was made to be great thanks to Tasty Choice and everything they stand for.

Love this place! Been going for as long as I’ve living near by. The food never fails! Always hot and just like the name they are tasty! Not only is the food good but the staff are always great and very giving! Don’t think twice about coming here, you won’t regret it! 👍🏼

Food is good. Service was also good. Atmosphere is good but it got a bit too smoky when we were there.

This appears like more of a to go place but there was tables along the wall for my friend I to enjoy our food. The girl who took our order was friendly. I ordered the mixed shawarma plate with lamb and beef which came with rice and salad and traditional white sauce. The portion sizes are large! My friend and I also split a hummus which came with hot fresh pita! Would definitely return again.

Was craving Mediterranean food so stopped by here for pickup. The girl at the counter was really nice and the restaurant itself looked clean. I got the babaganoush which was really good. The beef shawarma platter with rice and salad. The salad,rice and pickled/veggies were great. The shawarma was a bit on the hard and dry side. We also got a burger with fries. The fries were delicious and seasoned so well. & the burger was also tasty and juicy. The food portions were huge so we had left overs. Will be returning but will have to tell them to not over cook my meat next time.

I ordered the Lamb Chops plate for my mom and she said it was amazing, I also ordered the Chicken Kebab with pita for myself and it was delicious... The girl in the front was very professional and courteous, thank you... I will be back soon!!!

I recently ordered from Tasty Choice via Uber Eats and unfortunately, my experience was not great. I spent $35 on 2 mixed shawarmas and a cheeseburger, but when the food arrived, it was ice cold. The meat in the shawarmas was rubbery and lacked basic seasoning, making it inedible. The cheeseburger bun also had a weird burn mark on it. I ended up throwing away the shawarmas and the top bun of the cheeseburger. Based on my experience, I don't understand how this restaurant received such high reviews. Perhaps it was just an off day for them, but I cannot recommend ordering from Tasty Choice based on my experience.

The food is delicious here. They are under new management. I ordered the lamb with rice and when the cashier rang up my order it was $20+ dollars. I told her to take it off because that's not what I was looking for. After speaking with the cook and he showed me the seasoned lamb chops I told her to put it back on my bill. I made a good choice because those lamb chops were delicious

So the food here is delicious. Apparently this a new spot and I am so happy to find a place near me where I can get a solid falafel. I have had take out from here before, but today was my first time eating here in person. The place was nice and clean. Everything looked delicious and fresh. The staff were all working and moving as quickly as possible. There was a little bit of a wait because there were more customers than employees, but it wasn't t a big deal. My wrap was flavorful, delicious, and a great size for $12. The food here runs from $8- $25 but the portions make it worth it and it tastes delicious. I gave it 4 stars for a couple of reasons: -one of the employees wore no mask at all - they were not checking the vaccinations status of people who were eating inside - I would have liked there to be a more vigilant approach to cleaning the areas where people sat. It was mostly clean at our table but I could see crumbs. Overall I really enjoyed this spot and will definitely get more food from here. My dad is here at least once a week getting food. Its definitely worth trying if you are in the areas

i ordered two chicken shawarmas and when i pick up my order it was completely wrong and chicken shawarma consists of a wrap and fries and sauce. i was discriminated agaisnt because i did not speak her language. once i called to explain i had the wrong order the lady made me repeat myself multiple times and all she had to say about my concern was "OK"

I never wrote a review so fast! I ordered from here today for the first time and I was obsessed with the food it was so good and delicious. The chicken brought me back to my childhood and my country it was so good it unlocked a memory in me that I am so happy while eating every piece. I am so happy I came across this restaurant. I can't wait to try more of their menu. This is my new favorite take out restaurant!

I was in the mood for something Mediterranean adjacent, and stumbled upon Tasty Choice. We were originally going to order through a delivery app but the resultant price, compared to the actual price of the menu items, discouraged us. There was a literal, $50 upcharge, which almost turned us off from ordering overall. Hubby suggested that we call them directly to see if they deliver themselves, and the woman with which I spoke, said that they did! The overall price of our order came out to 5bucks less than the delivery app, with all those garbage fees removed. As always with a new place, I ordered quite a few apps, along with our chosen entrées. I chose their Korean wings, honey bbq wings, falafel, and some beef samosas. Hubby had their chicken and lamb Arabic platter, my son had their lamb Arabic platter and I went with their mixed grill platter without any chicken. The food arrived fairly quickly, but it was not hot, more warm than anything. The flavour is definitely there but the timing in preparation was definitely off a bit. The wings were tasty, and the samosas were yummy. The falafel was not a favorite. The Arabic platters have roti-like wraps, filled with the meat of choice, banana peppers, red onion, lettuce and tomato. They were paired with a kinda of raita with their awesome spicy red sauce, a cabbage red onion slaw, and more banana peppers. Hubby and my son said that their food was OK. My mixed grill platter usually comes with two lamb chops, a lamb koftah, and some sort of chicken, but I requested just the kofta and chops, and I received two of each. It was accompanied with a large helping of their seasoned rice with golden raisins and saffron, a cucumber salad w/dressing, their cabbage slaw and red onion, and more banana peppers. Delivery was exceptional. The guy who brought out order was soooo nice! He provided very good service and was appreciative of the large tip we gave. I would much rather give money directly to a person, than the corporation for which they work. The portions are huge, so we had leftovers again, for tonight. The food tasted way better, hotter. Tasty Choice has an opportunity to serve a very large community. They are a newly opened, only for about three months so far, and with a few minor improvements, they have the potential to be very successful. Give them a try and support local, small business!

Brand New Spot, just opened. They have a LOT to offer so if shawarmas and Korean bbg wings are your jam...and fresh smoothies...and made to order salads...and a myriad of other middle eastern fare....stop by. Tell Sal the lady with the white hair sent ya!

Friend of mine suggested I give Tasty Choice a try, I'm glad they did! They have amazing lamb chops that are a must try. The shawarma on pita is another great option!

This place was really good and I highly recommend coming here for some well cooked flavorful food. The staff are nice and super accommodating. I wanted a mango pineapple kale spinach smoothie and they were able to do just that. I got the chicken shawarma wrap and got my boyfriend a wrap as well. We both loved it. Very delicious and the chicken is so flavorful. Def a must try if you are in the area.

The restaurant is one of the best in bronx. I know many people who go to queens or Brooklyn to have halal foods think that there is not a good place in bronx. They should give this play a try. Ever since I moved to this neighborhood this is my all time favorite place to grab food. I love their menu it's simple and delicious. The service is also the best.

I only always order the falafel & rice plate and salads. The food always tastes good the service is pretty fast ,staff is friendly and there is enough seating. Highly recommended establishment

If you are a picky eater n want some good clean wholesome food you want Tasty Choice. I have lived around here for about a year n tried a lot of different places near by. Their food is so fresh n the place is immaculate. Their lamb is soft and the wings are good. They also have smoothies and deserts. Their potion sizes are easily two meals. I ate my fill n had more than enough for next day.

We used to go to Queens to eat shawarma and grape leaves. we are happy that finally we have this restaurant in the Bronx!!

The RUDEST counter girl. Food is good, but I rather not deal with rude people. Needs training on how to communicate without a negative attitude.

We had the beef kabab over salad and the taste cannot be any fresher or better since they make everything in house. Can't wait to try more items from their menu.

I ordered a chicken pita falafel which was good and good amount of meat. Only negative was that the server put my pita on the bare metal table instead of on the foil that it wraps in. He didn't speak English so I had to tell the guy next to him and the guy told him he can't do that. He made it over. Thank god i was watching the preparation because that cross contamination. Inside the Restaurant and bathroom was clean overall.

If you live in NY or traveling there I highly recommend a visit to Tasty Choice. Excellent food, Great service and no matter what you order you will love and enjoy the taste. Absolutely the best meal we had while in NY

BEST Mediterranean food in the Bronx. Plus it's halal. Their mango habanero wings are finger licking good. Everything from their platters to the shawarma, amazing!!!! Also they are so nice and friendly too.

We were driving home and decided to go through the local streets when I spotted the flags and sign. I pulled over and looked up this restaurant. I decided to order pick up through Grubhub thinking it would be ready quickly. After placing the order( a falafel shawarma and a lamb shawarma), I was alerted that my order would be ready in 40 minutes. I asked my spouse to try and see if he could go into the restaurant and get it sooner. He entered and said that the staff was very welcoming and accommodating. In about 10 minutes he returned. When we got home we dug in. He says the falafel shawarma was good. He loved the fixings! He would've liked the falafel cooked a bit harder. I loved the lamb shawarma!! I haven't had lamb in a long while. This was tender and moist. The fixing- (especially the pickles) were an extra treat. The sauce and crunchy fresh red cabbage were also good. My spouse mentioned the clean and well organized layout. He also says they had lots of desserts. I'll have to check that out next time. We are definitely going back again. So glad to have a reasonably priced Mediterranean restaurant nearby!!!

I love this place . First of all they are super clean . Everyone is wearing a mask and gloves . All the food is covered with plastic and they are always cleaning . The staff are super helpful and friendly. I ordered the salmon wrap and it was really good . On my 2nd visit , I ordered a smoothie called heavy hitter and that was good too . I recommend this place . Not to many places in nyc people are wearing gloves and mask while making your food .

I ordered the mix kabab platter, it came with chicken and beef with rice and two types of salads, I really enjoyed the pickled veggies. The rice and meats were delicious, as well as the falafels, the platters are huge and generous. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very nice, nice addition to the neighborhood, will definitely be back.

This place was so good when they first opened. But now they don't make it the same and they made them smaller sandwiches

Amazing food! The samosa was light, chewy, and warm, with tasty spices on the inside. The subs were sooo good, the best in my opinion. The subs are great if you want a light, but filling food. The bread was light and soft, the meat and chicken not too much and not too little, and the taste was everything and more. I ended up eating a whole sub without even realizing because of how good it tasted. The best part was that everything tasted fresh, even after having seconds an hour later. The Mozzarella cheese sticks were also an amazing side. I will definitely be coming back to this place and recommending it to anyone around the area who is looking for some good food.

Definitely some of the best food I have had. The subs were light and delicious. The bread and meat was fresh. My favorite side was the mozzarella sticks, they were perfectly crunchy, cheesy and a little spicy. 10/10 would recommend and buy again.

I love this place , is my go to for lunch . The delivery guy is very quick and always on point with my order, he has great customer service. Food is great as always no matter what time you call or come in, food is always fresh .
