If you take a quick drive over from clt, you'll end up in Gastonia. The cute little restaurant is the perfect place to meet-up for delicious food and conversation. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Seasonal decorations. Drinks, as well as great food. My friend had thr French toast and I had the traditional breakfast. Delicious. Service was top notch. I highly recommend checking them out.

The food is good, not great. The chicken on the salad is dry. Small portions. We love Sprouts but they were closed so we tried Tasty. My husband, myself, and our seven year old, just water to drink= $64 with tip. It wasn’t bad, just not worth the price.

Looking for new restaurants to try for my birthday my husband made reservations at this spot. So glad he did because breakfast was delicious. At first, while reading the menu I was a little concerned but what a tasty surprise! The burrito was packed and flavorful and the home fries were so good. Will return to give lunch and try and update my review.

First time eating there for a late lunch. Plenty of seats, cute place, fresh flowers on each table added a nice touch. Service was good, friendly. Lots of breakfast options, which is served all day long. Not your typical menu, which is why we went there. Lots of healthy options. I had the shrimp tacos & fried green beans. Tacos were ok but the green beans were tough & zero taste. Hubby had the salmon over quinoa with vegetables and he said the salmon was excellent, cooked perfectly. Sweet potato fries were quite tasty. We will return to try something else. They have wine tastings & music on certain weekends. 🍽️

Don’t let the building or the restaurant name fool you, it is really nice inside, great atmosphere, upscale menu, great desserts, coffee bar, and quaint Little bar that serves excellent choice of wine, beer and liquor. Great place for a date night.

This was our first visit. My friend brought me here for my birthday dinner. We ordered the same meal so we can accurately compare our experience. Well ... the $24 steak wrap was the most expensive item on the menu, and it was a huge disappointment. Between the fat and gristle, the few pieces of steak were very chewy. We didn't complain because we were on a time crunch and couldn't wait for a remedy. We also ordered the beet salad as our side. It was very tasty. They had just brought out a fresh Strawberry Tres Leche cake, so we ordered a piece. It was fabulous. Our server was a true gem! I don't recall her name, but she couldn't have been sweeter.

This was my first time here and it was great. Had the spicy grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Everything came out fresh to order. The atmosphere was nice & chill. Our waitress was amazing. Will most definitely come back to try their breakfast.

Our first time. It was a pleasant surprise! The food was so fresh. There are so many healthy options and wonderful international wines 🍷 Katie the server was so welcoming. Ambi the owner, was so friendly and helpful in explaining the concept of his restaurant. We will definitely be back!

This place is awesome! I went for breakfast with my friend who was visiting from out of town, and the service was great. The food was flavorful and fresh. The drinks we got (watermelon mint & mandarin cardamom) were the best part! We will be back.

Food just okay. Good coffee. Very expensive for breakfast or lunch. I've had two very bad meals here and two ok meals. Young lady taking care of us was sassy and got irritated when we asked another Waitor for something. She's definitely not a team player and took it out on us. Rude. That was last time we've seen the inside!

OMG. Island Salad with Grilled Chicken: This is one of the tastiest salads that I have ever eaten. It's healthy (quinoa, chickpeas, cucumbers, tomatoes, arugula) and delicious. The grilled pineapple took the flavor to a whole new level of deliciousness. I had the salad with citrus vinaigrette. I hope this is available all summer. I will definitely order again. I called in my order after receiving an email announcing this new chef's creation. It was ready when I arrived. Tasty is a gem right in the Gastonia neighborhood. Only 9 minutes from Nolan Farm.

Food was just ok. Nothing extraordinary. Food portions were SMALL! If you're into HEALTHY food, they have it on the menu. Service was AMAZING thanks to NATE! Ambiance is family oriented. For the drive I took to get here, it would discourage me from coming again. But, If you're in the area, give it a try and let me know your thoughts.

Saturday (6/22) around 6:30pm Dinner for 4 Very convenient location with plenty of parking. Place was clean and inviting. We were there with friends so quite a bit of conversation between us. The atmosphere was fun. Place is well lighted, super comfortable and temperature was great. Service was good, young lady was respectful and knowledgeable (she recommended the chicken pasta), and attentive. After a couple drinks we order dinner. We shared the Chicken & pasta pan with a side of fresh vegetables. Everything was cooked perfectly and delicious. Locally owned and operated too!

Rushing to work, I dialed in an order at the recently opened spot, Tasty. I opted for the breakfast bowl with a side of oatmeal and added some delectable salmon. The salmon exceeded expectations - tender, impeccably seasoned, with a delightful crispy top layer. Diving into the bowl, it was a medley of flavors - potatoes, turkey bacon, fried eggs, red peppers, red onions, and chorizo. While the turkey bacon could use a touch more cooking, the homestyle potatoes harmonized perfectly with the chorizo. The oatmeal, though thick, leaned towards the less sweet side, requiring a pinch of sugar and a lighter sprinkle of cinnamon. Despite minor tweaks, I'm eager to revisit and explore other items on the menu. We visited Tasty on a weekday after seeing some family in the area and we were pleasantly surprised at this adorable new restaurant in Gastonia! Our Server was Nick and he was absolutely awesome! So personable and friendly. He checked on us often and was very educated on the menu. I think this spot opened just a few weeks ago and it was such a great experience for us! Of course I ordered the French toast and turkey bacon. This was delicious and extremely reasonably priced compared to other spots in Charlotte. I also ordered the chai latte and enjoyed that as well. We also were really intrigued by their juice options, so we tried their strawberry dragonfruit and the mandarin cardamon. Both were sooooooo yummy! This is a super chill spot, with great food and amazing service. Folks checked on us multiple times while we dined and that makes such a difference. I highly recommend checking them out. Their non breakfast menu was also pretty Tasty looking lol. See what I did there. Me and my boyfriend said we HAVE to come back and try their other food. They have all kinds of dishes, even ceviche. Great new spot in Gastonia!

I've eaten at this location twice and both times the service has been great, but the food is just alright. The first time I got the shrimp wrap and it was just okay- nothing special. I felt like I could've made it at home. The second time was on a Friday for lunch. I got the spicy grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Sandwich was just okay, but the fries were terrible. Not seasoned, just cut up sweet potatoes that were either baked or fried, but had no flavor. I'd try again later, but I've not been impressed.

As soon as I got there, I recognized the building. I remember the restaurant that was there before. Getting to the point of reviewing... Our server was Ava. She was as sweet as can be and recommended some things. Saw in a group that there were rave reviews on the food. I will say the mac and cheese is one of the best I've had, honestly. Cheesy and just perfectly balanced with flavors. Also, not mushy (overcooked like some places) The chicken and pasta pan was really good. It wasn't dry or lacking flavor. My son had the big tasty burger , and he said he enjoyed it but not his top favorite. He also enjoyed the mac and cheese a lot. Now to my husband's food... He said the chicken sandwich lacked flavor. He can taste the mayo and lettuce, but the chicken needs help. What is interesting is I had an entree with chicken and I found it to be good but his sandwich wasn't up to par. He enjoyed the "spicy" fries because you can tell they are made fresh. Just they weren't spicy, lol. (That man loves a challenge and looks for spicy things often) I also enjoyed the dulce de leche mini cake things they had. (None of the other deserts were available from the menu) Now I had one issue with the place. The cook (if that's who he was), when asked questions, was off-putting and seemed not to want to be bothered at all. The reason I asked him was because he was out in the dining area. All in all, the place isn't bad. Especially the prices for 3 people eating were pretty darned good.

Our fav new place for breakfast date!!! Only our first time here but everything was excellent. Environment, food, people and service. All day around same menu, so if breakfast is your favorite food or you want to start the day with a healthy salad this place is ready to cater to your taste buds. The coffee bar is cute and offers plenty options. We def will be back.

BEST BREAKFAST PLACE NEAR GASTONIA! Food - Delicious, and nice variety. Service - Katie was very attentive and the the staff went above and beyond! The bartender recommended ginger with the dragon fruit mimosa. He came back to our table with some ginger syrup. Atmosphere - comfortable My favorite was their French toast that came with vanilla bean cream. Absolutely delicious! Their bacon was cooked perfectly, not underdone or overdone. Fruit with yogurt had a variety of fruit. They are also willing to do substitutions.

WOW, JUST WOW!!! As someone who lives in Gastonia I have been hoping for food like this for a while. While BBQ and the typical restaurants around here are OK, I feel like Gastonia is missing fresh homemade food. Food with love and food with a purpose. I had previously ordered takeout (ambie/ owner manager was so hospitable and kind) and I told my husband we had to go back. We sat on the patio and both Antonio and the taller young lady were extremely accommodating and gracious. Our food was seasoned well, cooked to perfection, and just an amazing experience. Me and my husband both come from the restaurant business, and this was by far one of our best experiences in a long time. Everything is reasonably priced for the QUALITY! They have some great wine and cocktail options. And let me just say I love that they kept the menu fairly small. Do something small but do it right, and that's what they have done here for sure! We will continually make this a regular spot for us! Thank you

Tasty was very good! This was my Husband and I's first time visiting with my Mother-in-Love (MIL) and I was very satisifed with the options, the taste and the ambiance of the restaurant. It feels so welcoming, calm and makes you just feel like you're at home relaxing! What I enjoy the most is that the plates are not big but a good size & amount. The food is very fulfilling and not heavy. You leave, not feeling overly stuffed and tired but just satisfied! What we ordered: Vegetable Soup (No pictured) - My MIL absolutely LOVED this soup. There were more vegetables than broth, unlike most soups. If you want vegetables, you're getting vegetables! I do not remember all the vegetables within the soup but overall, it was really good! Salmon & Shrimp Wrap - My MIL says that this is her staple. She is very healthy but enjoys good tasting food too! French Toast - My FAV for sure! I loved the unique touch of the fresh fruit and the cream cheese was very soft and light, not too sweet or overbearing! Turkey Bacon - The turkey bacon was okay, only because it was kind of cold but it was decent. It was thick and chewy, rather than crispy, but overall, still good! Scrambled Eggs - The scrambled eggs were great! I loved the taste of them. Not too bland and not too salty either. Farm Omelette - The eggs were perfect. They weren't cooked too hard or even too runny. It was a perfect consistency. White Chocolate Latte w/ cinnamon powder - Perfect and great taste! Not an overbearing coffee taste, which was nice! Vanilla Cappuccino w/ cinnamon powder - Pretty strong taste but good! Everything was so good that it's hardly unexplainable!

A hidden gem in the outskirts of Gastonia. I felt like I was in Europe. Best code I had an a while. Compared to Hamburg, England and Ireland. I was a little curious about the menu, but the quality of food is superb, when they say greek yogurt is actually Greek yogurt. I wish this place was in Tega Cay.

Average service but great vibe and ambiance. I ordered the three baked eggs in tomato sauce. Eggs were under cooked/ raw and tomato sauce left an " out of the can taste". Bacon was burnt. My wife ordered the avocado toast and she said she could have more eggs. Home fries looked and tasted like the we're microwaved. We were the only ones in the restaurant at the time, from 0800 to 0900 .

Tasty is an excellent dining choice in Gastonia. Although not one of the more popular "watering holes", this place has excellent food and unparalleled service. The atmosphere is casual and comfy. There is a small bar and the booths and tables are spacious. They recently added brand new outdoor seating for their patio. This is one of my favorite places in Gastonia.

We loved coming to Tasty! The staff was very friendly and the food lives up to the name. We had a minor issue with ours and they fixed it without issue which I'm glad they did it came out amazing! My husband had the chicken sandwich with the spicy fries (they definitely have a kick) and I had the shrimp tacos with beet salad - we loved everything! We can't wait to come back!

Not many restaurants in the area are trying to offer meals that are both healthy and tasty, but Tasty does, and they have a very nice breakfast with a barista. The food does live up to its name and the staff and service is very good. I enjoyed the meal and the food was great.

The place was very interesting menus Greek Mexican Caribbean influenced menus seemed to just be all over the place the burger was ok the veggie soup didn't come as advertised on the menu when we asked the manager he said it shouldn't have potato but the menu says it does. My wife ended up getting sick later that night The building was nice the place was very slow for a Saturday night the service was ok you could tell the guy was new but trying the wine was great but overall seems like a big mistake hopefully they can work the bugs out on the place

I've been to Tasty's several times. I always enjoy it. The foods a little different, but always delicious. The coffee choices are great and service is above average. I'd give it a solid 4.0 to 4.5 rating.

My new favorite restaraunt in Gastonia Customer service was terrific Menu has so many good food choices My salmon was perfectly cooked I will definitely be back!

The food choices are limited. The French toast, avocado toast and Greek yogurt with mixed berries are excellent. Not much else is appealing. The staff and the service is very good. The ambiance is ok. The prices are a little high for the amount of food served. The coffee and desserts are outstanding. Tasty would be much more appealing if the plates and dishes were warmed before putting the food on them. The food is basically cold after the first couple of bites. Size of sides are skimpy! Presentation of the food is bland not very exciting. I have been there 10 times or so in hopes that things will improve. The little touches matter if you want people to come back. Salt and pepper, sugar and condiments on the table are welcoming. Warm plates and hot food are necessary along with larger sides and better presentation of the food. If these issues are fixed then I think TASTY WILL TRIVE!. If not, then I probably won't go back. I just feel irritated. I don't mind spending a little more for a nice experience. PS. Suggestion. Give 2 pieces of toast in stead of just one and try not to burn it. I want this business to succeed. If they fix these few little things, I believe it will make all the difference! Hope this helps.

We stopped in on a Saturday late am. We were promptly greeted and asked if we would rather a booth or a table. They were not very busy yet it took a while for them to bring out our order. The server brought out one omelette and set it on the table and after several minutes passed he brought the second one out. We ordered two of the same and were not quite sure what happened. The potatoes were brought out separately, and not fully cooked. The omelette was filled with a variety of veggies and was very good. It was a well lit open and airy space that appeared clean. A display case with cakes was getting a lot of attention. I've seen plenty of good reports and wonder if we just happened to hit them on an off day.

Food and service good, prices reasonable. Carrot soup delicious. I'll definitely go back.

Second time here this week. Great food. Superb coffee drinks. Haven't tried the cocktails, but will be back for dinner next. It's just different enough, plenty of interesting new dishes to try. Super friendly staff. Ambi (owner) is very hands on and listens. Definitely give them a try.

We were excited to see a restaurant open in this location again. The service and food were great and they took the time to go through the menu to accommodate food allergies.

Food was good! My kids and I really enjoyed the Mac and cheese! My husband got the rotisserie chicken and veggies. He said the flavor on the chicken was really good, but was a little dry. He really liked the dips that were given with it and he liked the veggies. The server was very nice. We enjoyed the atmosphere in there as well. We would go back!

Tasty and yummy. I'll definitely be back and I'll bring the whole family. I went with a group of ladies and the staff worked hard to accommodate everyone!

The best breakfast in Gastonia, hands down! Everything was delicious. I've never had horchata latte before and it was amazing. Fresh food with a Latin flavor. Also clean and great service. Nicely decorated as well. Wish they could be open also on Sundays!
