This place just opened up and it is on par if not better than all the other Chinese beef noodle spots in SD. Spicy Beef noodle soup is so good. I feel like the broth is well rounded. The chili oil on top is a nice addition. I lean towards a Taiwanese beef noodle broth flavor and this hits the spot for me, even tho I’m sure this is another regions style. Noodles are hand pulled in house!! Chili oil wontons are also delectable! Every bite was delightful. I actually tried these the first time I came and they’re what brought me back to want to try more off their menu!! The Peking noodles is like a true Chinese zhajiangmian (jjajangmeon). It’s a stir fried meaty sauce laid over hand pulled noodles! Can’t complain! Portions are big, prices are unbeatable.

Wow! First time trying this spot & I really enjoyed it. I ordered to take out, they packaged items well for a to go order. I ordered the Spicy beef noodles, broth was amazing, not too spicy but a good hint of chili spice, noodles were thick, tasted freshly made. The meat was cooked nice and tender. Garlic Green Beans, nice and garlicky but not over powering, I added some chili oil and it tasted great. Everything tasted great, fresh & authentic. I am so happy I gave this place a try, I will bring my family here to try.

Google
Affordable menu, in deed, but food was quite disappointing. The service need improvement but they're still new, so maybe give them more time? The food came out one-by-one and we had one dish that never made it to the table. The best dish we ordered was the eggplant with brown sauce. It was simple, yet, delicious. The least favorite and last to arrive at the table was the shredded chicken noodles. It was a cold entree, and had a thick, creamy and heavy sauce that adhered to the noodles. It didn't suit anyone's palate. Oh, the ordering system was nice. Scan the barcode on the table and order through the link. Everyone at the table can see the tables tab and add accordingly.

Great spot, hidden gem. Handmade noodles that are very good. Happy this place is my neighborhood. Highly recommend.

I’m so excited to see there’s a northeast Chinese food opened in San Diego, because the majority is southern Chinese food here. But as a Chinese came from northern China, southern food is pretty different than my hometown taste. This place is very authentic and delicious, the potato egg plant and pepper dish probably is the most authentic one I’ve ever had in US. The dumplings are amazing as well, a Chinese aunt is hand making them in the back, the stuffing is big, and the skin is thin though holding the stuffing so well. I have to say this is a treasure spot for all the northern Chinese people as well as the people who want to taste real northern Chinese food. Also their price is very reasonable, we ordered three dishes plus a drink, total only 50 bucks and the quality is big, we didn’t even really finish.

Google
I stopped by here looking for the old boba place but was surprised to see a new family owned restaurant instead! I’m so glad I gave it a chance because the food is delicious!! Handmade dumplings- I got the Three Delicacy Dumplings. Very traditional scallion pancakes- YUM! I plan on coming back many more times to try different items. Tasty House is definitely a hidden gem. The atmosphere is bright and open. The vibe inside is very nice- super comfortable booths and chairs and I’m a sucker for nice green decor!

Yelp
Great regional chinese food! The restaurant offers great food from the North Eastern Area of China. The region is not well represented in the US, thats why it is so special they are here in San Diego. Because the north eastern area is more country with farms and agriculture, so the food is simpler and heavy on carbs. A lot food will probably seem familiar to people but a little different because of its regional flavor. I love their northeast specialties including the sauerkraut dishes, the pork ribs stewed with bean noodles, and chicken-mushroom stew. My son loves their pot-fried pork and dumplings. Their price is so reasonable, its easy to order a lot! The service is slow when I was there because there was a lot of online and sitting in orders.

Yelp
I placed an order for pick up online but my order wasn't ready when I got there and I had to wait an extra 25 mins. While sitting there, I thought, "Never again!!" BUT after eating, I decided it was soo good, maybe I could give them another chance. I got the spicy beef noodles, Szechan style shredded pork and dry (garlic) green beans. Everything was fantastic flavor-wise. Taking a star away cuz the rice portion was not great and cuz of the long wait. I placed my order at 3:05pm but didn't get my food till around 3:45pm. App told me it'd be ready by 325pm.

Yelp
Ordered broccoli beef, beef noodles , and spicy orange chicken. Beef was a little chewy, had tendons, and not the best quality for what I paid. Beware: these entrees did NOT come with white rice as is standard in all of the other restaurants I've been too. Apparently you have to ask for white rice separately! They forgot to add the SPICES to the orange chicken, so it was bland. To top it off, they didn't seal the beef noodles carefully and half the broth had spilled over when I got home. I regret ordering lunch from here , unfortunately. Overall, food was just "ok" at best .

Yelp
Beef noodle: 2/5 Soup had no flavor, noodle was overcooked, and the stew beef was very obviously prepackaged beef. Spicy shredded chicken noodle: 2/5 The chicken has the texture of rubber bands that's been sitting in the sun since the Stone Age. Also had no peanuts contrary to their own pictures . Noodle texture was good Pot fried pork: 4.5/5 Glaze was perfect. The pork was tender and the crust was fried light and airy. Maybe family style dishes are the way to go judging from how good the pork was, I would give it one more chance to come back and try those dishes. Service was non-existent.

Yelp
Found this place looking on Yelp and it had such nostalgic and niche Chinese dishes I love that aren't as commonly found. The inside was spacious and clean. The service was quick and simple- you order yourself through the QR code. I came here specifically for the sauerkraut pork soup dish which I LOVED (i may be a bit biased). The portion was soo big which shocked me. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the sauerkraut flavor was strong. They didn't skimp out much on the pork either which was nice. The string beans were good and not overly salty- something I appreciated. Definitely coming back here soon.

Yelp
Did I come back to review this once more? Yes AND I brought my Chinese mother who, if you know anything about Asian moms, judge quite harshly. The result: the flavor was right but the dough too thick and the chicken in the noodles was not the kind to use. They are supposed to use not dried chicken but fresh chicken meat. I finally got to try their noodle dishes and it was pretty great. I did order the chicken wings (to go) once more and my family ate all of it. We also tried their beef wrapped in scallion and that looked deliciously flaky on the outside and soft flavorful meat on the inside. The spicy chicken noodles were a good flavor of peanut and cucumber and on a warm day this dish hits the spot as a cold noodle dish. What I really wanted to test out was the chew factor of the noodles as I saw them make it last time by hand. It was pretty on point. We also ordered the shrimp wonton noodle soup and that soup flavor was not too thick or heavy but a light seafood with cilantro flavoring that was not overpowering. On a rainy day or if you feel cold it would be a great addition to your chicken wings. Hope this place gets more business.

Yelp
Saw that this spot recently opened up and decided to check it out. It's a small shop located in a plaza with plenty of parking. You can order via the QR code at your table. The check does update when people add items on using different phones, but I noticed it was glitchy and wouldn't always refresh what other people added until you add something yourself. So just make sure to compare at the end and have whoever has the most updated check submit the final order. SALT AND PEPPER CHICKEN WINGS: Flavorful, juicy pieces with a nice crispy outside. Lots of onions scattered throughout the dish too. SPICY DRY-FRIED GREEN BEANS: I could tell from the smell when this dish came out that it would be super flavorful! The beans were slightly tougher than I usually like, but not a huge deal. CUMIN LAMB: Strong cumin flavor and nice, tender pieces of lamb that melt in your mouth! TWICE-COOKED SPICY PORK: Tender slices of pork and a nice spicy kick! A little greasier than I would have liked, although I still ate a ton. Overall, enjoyed everything I ordered and will add this to my rotation of spots for when I'm craving Chinese food!

Yelp
This restaurant used to be a boba shop so I was surprised when my friend told me that it was a new Chinese restaurant. I am ALWAYS open to getting Chinese food in big groups so my friends and I stopped by for dinner! The interior is quaint and when our group of 6 came in, they kindly put two of their large tables together for us. They had the option to scan a QR code to place an order online which was a seamless process. One person placed the order while we all scrolled through our phones but they brought over two physical menu's that were very helpful. We were having a difficult time deciding what we wanted because there were so many options. We asked the waiter what they recommended and ended up ordering pretty much everything that they told us about. Oh my goodness I was blown away by how yummy our meal was. Potato, eggplant, & green pepper: The dish had a lovely glaze that complimented the potatoes nicely. I am such a fan of eggplant in brown sauce and they definitely did the dish justice. Pot fried pork: This dish reminded me of the korean "Tangsuyuuk" dish and was very nostalgic for me. I wouldn't say that it amazed me, and I wouldn't order it again but I was happy that it was one of the dishes! Green bean with garlic: I always order a vegetable dish when I get Chinese food so I can balance the oil out a little bit. This was a solid version of the green beans with garlic, and I found myself looking for the ones that were smothered in garlic chunks. Shrimp fried noodles: THIS WAS SO YUMMY! I always order a noodle dish as well and this was a very savory, (oily), but rich chow mein. The shrimp wasn't too special but it definitely added a nice flavor to the dish. Red oil wontons: Nothing too special but wontons in any kind of red sauce or chili oil is always a go to and this one didn't disappoint. Sour cabbage and pork dumplings: This was a very safe, delicious choice. It was not very oily like the other items and I would say that it is a great choice for a comfort meal. Salt and pepper fish: To be honest, I side eyed my friend when they said they wanted the fish instead of the wings. I was so very wrong. This was the dish that absolutely captivated my attention for the whole meal. It was so aromatic and tasted rich and buttery. It was crisp but didn't feel very oily. The onion that came with it balanced the flavors of the fish so nicely. Overall, I would say that this was a very successful meal. I hadn't eaten so fast like the food would run away from me in a long time. They have a great variety of dishes and most if not all of them are solid choices, which make a very cohesive dining experience!

Yelp
Tasty House (味来) has replaced a boba tea and snack shop at the Diane Village in Clairemont. The suite was repainted with orange and pale green colors. The seating capacity was close to 40 after more tables were added for on-site dining. Parking was limited to several spaces out front, however there was a bigger lot to the back (east) of the building. The menu featured Northeastern Chinese cuisine that you could access through a QR code at each table. I selected the Three Delicacy Dumplings for an appetizer which came as an order of twelve pieces. Shrimp, pork, and chives were the trio of ingredients that made up the filling. They could be steamed or boiled so I asked for the former. The shape and size of the dumplings were average while the skin wrapper was a bit on the thick side. The Beef Noodles (non-spicy) was my entree of choice. Several tender slices of meat were included in the bowl that contained thin noodles and topped with green onions and baby bok choy. The broth was light and had mild seasoning. The service was good while the prices were on par with some of the Asian eateries in the Convoy District that served the two items I tried.

Yelp
Pretty solid choice for Chinese food. Ingredients are high quality. Excellent menu selection. Dishes well prepared and very tasty. Prices are reasonable. Strip mall with lots of parking.

Yelp
Very authentic Northeastern Chinese restaurant with great service and amazingly different cuisine. My water glass stayed full and food came out quickly and hot! PS - rice is ala carte. Dumplings were fresh, full of ingredients and very tasty! Adding soy sauce and chili oil was a plus. Loved the eggplant, potatoes and peppers dish, very savory and perfectly cooked. Chicken with broccoli was very tender with moist white meat. Both were more than generous portions and shared between 4 people! Peking Noodles were refreshing and surprisingly good. Make sure and mix everything together. Sauerkraut with pork and vermicelli was a soup and plentiful but could have used more spice and seasoning. Overall, very happy with the meal and very reasonable and affordable prices. Simple, roomy tables with comfortable seating. We'll be back to try other dishes!

Yelp
The pork and cabbage dumplings were tasty, but they would be even better pan-fried with some crispiness, rather than just boiled. I also got the szechuan eggplant which came out really quickly. I think the sauce was ready to go, but the eggplant itself was cooked very well--I want it soft and tender and it was just that. The sauce had a little kick, but not too extreme.

Yelp
Craving Chinese food so came here. We got the red oil wontons, Mongolian beef, salt and pepper chicken wings, and a side of white rice. The beef was tender, slight heat, and had some good flavor. The wontons tasted good but was a little doughy for me. They had some nice heat to them. The chicken had a slight crunch and tasted good. This is one of the better tasting white rices I have ever eaten. The food came out in a timely manner. The place was clean and bright. Service was good. There are a few items I want to try when I come back.

Yelp
Tasty House opened recently in June 2025 in Clairemont area in the Diane Village mall. The food was pretty good, northern style Chinese food. We tried the Mapo tofu, beef and broccoli, eggplant, shrimp wonton, three flavors dumplings, Beijing noodles, and the salt and pepper chicken wings-- which was the tables favorite dish. The fry on the wings was light and crunchy and the wings were flavorful and juicy inside. I believe they make the noodles and dumpling pasta fresh here. The wonton, dumplings and noodles were all tasty, but we would have enjoyed them more if they rolled those wrappers a bit thinner. The mapo doufu was really good you could feel the numbing of the Szechuan peppercorns. We all enjoyed the eggplant as well.

Yelp
Randomly found this place on Yelp and was excited to try it since this place just newly opened and love the location since there's always ample parking compared to convoy. Pricing is extremely fair and the portions are huge! The restaurant uses a Qr Code to order but since not all of the items have a photo description, I have attached a photo of everything we ordered including the iced black tea and milk pudding we randomly ordered spontaneously Since it was the two of us but we wanted to try multiple dishes, we hardly made a dent in the food since it's definitely designed for family style. Had plenty of leftovers that I gladly ate for lunch at work the next day We were so impressed by our meal that we actually started planning our next visit and are eager to return with more friends to share and eager to try new dishes next time

Yelp
I enjoyed my meal. The dumplings were fine. The beef fried noodles had nice flavor, but lacked the wok flavor.

Yelp
The food here is incredible! Fresh. Hot. Savory and delicately seasoned. We ordered the whole damn restaurant! From the outside the place is unassuming located in a sort of strip mall off CMB by Little Sheep. We actually were headed to Little Sheep but we didn't want the all you can eat so we ventured over here to check it out. We are a party of six and we ordered six dishes to share: walnut shrimp, bok choy, garlic green beans, shrimp and noodles, shredded chicken noodles and shrimp wontons. The walnut shrimp is amazing. The breading is like tempura- super light and crunchy. Lightly sauced. Crunchy walnuts, lightly sweetened. The garlic green beans are the best I've had: à strong crunch and incredible savory garlic flavor. The shrimp wontons came in a lovely, light broth swimming with some greens. Very tasty and great texture to the dough. The shrimp and noodles were delicious! The shrimp were tender and perfectly cooked. The noodles were homemade clearly. The sauce was complex and so tasty. The shredded chicken noodles also had homemade noodles that were so too salmon and delicious. There's a light kick to the spice of the sauce, but nothing that you couldn't handle. We came in a weird time of day being 3 o'clock, and there was nobody here but us. The staff was amazingly attentive and gave us all free cokes. The people couldn't have been nicer and we loved their food so much. Will totally be back for delivery or dine in.

Yelp
This has to be my new favorite Chinese place in San Diego - it is DELICIOUSSSS. We ordered the sauerkraut vermicelli noodles with pork and it was my first time having it, but the vermicelli noodles were thick and soaked up the delicious flavor, I loved it with the sour sauerkraut!!! Also ordered the salt and pepper chicken wings, every single wing was an actual wing (no drumsticks), and each wing so insanely crispy on outside and juicy on the inside with amazing flavor. The dumplings too were obviously hand made (each one a different shape with thick dough) and so yummy! The food comes out hot and fresh. The only downside is when it gets busy (we came on a Friday evening), the wait for the food took a while (they did look like they had three large to go orders on top of the packed restaurant) and the table beside us even left without their meal because they were so upset. Even though the wait was arguably long, the food itself was sooo good so it brought my rate up to a 5 (I don't do this often lol). The waiter and chef seemed very stressed and overwhelmed, they probably need better staffing to help with the wait times.

Yelp
beef burrito - beef brisket wrapped with a Chinese green onion pancake. I've had Chinese pancakes before but not like this. Their Chinese pancakes alone are delicious. With the brisket rolled up is amazing. The shrimp fried noodles taste great and the fresh homemade noodles have a great texture to them. Had the salt and pepper chicken wings and they are tasty with a great texture and crunch. Got the salt and pepper fish a couple more times since and it never disappoints.

Yelp
So I love Chinese and I have been looking for a good spot for a while now and sadly I'm still looking. We had the Spicy Orange Chicken that wasn't spicy at all, the kung pao chicken that was basically swimming in a sort of sweet sauce, and salt and pepper wings that lacked salt. We tried getting an order of chow mein noodles but aparently, you can only get them if you order the combination plate, which I thought was odd but ok. Only good things really were the rice was prepared well, the bathroom was clean. The atmosphere was ok didn't really feel I was transported anywhere but it was alright.

Yelp
one of the BEST restaurants in town. service was out of this world and the food? PHENOMENAL. I ordered shredded chicken noodles and chicken fried rice and was so blown away by the taste and attention to detail. the ambience of the restaurant itself feels so cozy and welcoming, which can be hard to find now a days since san diego has so many trendy spots that taste horrible. If I can rate this restaurant more than five starts I would. 10/10

Frances H.

Yelp
We love close by and thought we would try it. We had the Mongolian beef, shrimp noodles, and salt and pepper wings. We picked two because they were popular. Not sure why they were popular. The salt and pepper wings had no flavor and super oily. The Mongolian beef had a hint of spice, but also no flavor and oily. The best was the shrimp noodles, but it lacked flavor. I would not waste my time. You are better off at Panda Express.

Yelp
Very clean and nice ambience. Food price and portions great. The two items I had were quite tasty. I'll be back.

Yelp
Wow one of the best places we have eaten in SD all year! We got 5 dishes and all were hits and the service was fast too. The highlights were definitely the pot fried pork and eggplant/potato/pepper dish. The eggplant was lightly battered and the perfect texture and the potatoes were nice and soft. The other surprise highlight was the vermicelli stir fried with Chinese sauerkraut and pork. That dish had a nice sour refreshing taste...pro tip is to eat the dish cold the next day, even better! Just a heads up, the noodle with shredded chicken is a cold dish with a slightly sweet sauce. Also the portions are massive here and we had leftovers for days. Excited about this new addition to SD and looking forward to coming back again.

Yelp
Finally found a spot in SD that does real Northern Chinese cooking. Tasty House is low-key but the flavors are fire. No frills, just solid technique and bold dishes that hit hard. Got the beef noodle soup--broth was deep and rich, noodles had that perfect chew, and the beef was super tender. Pan-fried dumplings were crispy on the bottom, juicy inside, and seasoned just right. The beef roll? Flaky scallion pancake wrapped around marinated beef--crispy, savory, and addictive. Also tried Guo Bao Rou (sweet & sour pork)--not the usual red sauce stuff. This was the real Northeastern version: light batter, tangy glaze, and super crispy. Cold apps like the beef shank in chili oil and pickled cabbage were solid too. Everything felt homemade and balanced. Owners are chill and clearly care about the food. If you're into regional Chinese flavors and want something beyond the usual takeout, this place is worth the trip!

Yelp
The servers were so kind and friendly. Everything we ordered was really good and a much cringe as this sounds it's the truth..."and I aM PiCkY AbOuT mY cHiNeSe FoOd". We ordered: 3 delicacy dumplings: you can tell the dumplings were hand made (including the dough) and the filling was juicy with great flavors. Not bland like a lot of dumplings I've had here. Garlic boy choy: this knocked my socks off. Perfectly stir-fried (not under or over cooked) with the right amount of garlic/seasoning. You could taste the smoke of the wok which adds great flavor. Salt & pepper squid: with the tentacles and all (which is how I prefer my squid), really light/crispy batter. Great texture (not too chewy), not too salty. It was not garlicky but it's not supposed to be so it was great if you know what to expect. Pot fried pork: came out really hot/fresh (so it wasn't soggy), thinly sliced pork, battered and perfectly. crispy, sweet/sour flavoring. Shrimp fried noodles: flat rice noodles, light with a great smoky flavor from the wok. We also had the plain pudding for dessert - that's going to be something we order every time. Perfectly Asian-sweet (not too sweet). Silky texture. I will try the azuki bean or strawberry one next time. I can't wait to come again. It's also nice not to have to deal with the mess of parking on convoy. There's lots of room in the parking lot.

Yelp
Had a strong craving for hot and sour soup and found Tasty House in my neighborhood. The restaurant was immaculately clean and service was speedy and friendly. The Hot and Sour soup was a large portion and came out piping hot. Great balance of spice and full of tender vegetables. I'm used to pork in hot and sour but this was delicious without. The garlic green beans were perfect crisp-tender texture with blistered skin and strong fresh garlic flavor. We enjoyed the Mongolian beef- a classic done well- not at all greasy or swimming in overly sweet sauce like some other Chinese places. The star of the show was the Twice Cooked Spicy Pork! Crispy pork belly with leeks and onions stir fried with Sichuan peppercorns. The pepper danced in your mouth and left a tingling sensation. We are excited to come back to try more at Tasty House!

Yelp
This place rules. It tastes amazing. Service was fantastic. I will absolutely return. Ambiance is very chill. Nice seats. Good temperature. Really super delicious. Fat man approved. We got the spicy beef noodle FIRE 10/10 crispy spicy chicken FUEGO 10/10 Pork Cabbage dumplings DANG BROTHA 10/10 I will come back next Friday.

Yelp
I have tried dozens of Chinese restaurants in San Diego and this is definitely #1 in terms of price, authenticity, and taste. I would recommend the shrimp chow mein, garlic green beans, and the salt and pepper wings to start!

Dana Y.

Yelp
A really authentic northeastern chinese cuisine. I was having a hard time finding a northeastern cuisine that checked all my boxes, and this place hit the spot. They are a family-owned small business that just opened, and the interior is homey and cute. The service was excellent, as the server came to refill waters and check in frequently. For the food, we got the hot candied sweet potatoes, sauerkraut stewed with vermicelli, oil-splashed noodles, pot-fried pork, stew chicken w mushroom, and green bean with garlic. The sauerkraut vermicelli was perfect, authentic chinese flavor with a strong solid sauerkraut, and the meat was juicy and tender, and the umami balances the sourness well. As for the oil-splashed pork, I've been on the hunt for some good 锅包肉, and nothing in SD has been good except for this spot, as it was crunchy, with tender meat inside, and a sweet and sour sauce. The hot-candied sweet potatoes were not too sweet but still fresh and hot, and added a nice crunch with the candied exterior. For the amount of food given per plate, the price was very reasonable! Also for the plaza, there is lots of parking, no need to stress about minimal parking like a lot of plazas in Convoy. Would definitely recommend for those who miss authentic northeastern chinese food!

Yelp
We had the beef noodles, kung pow chicken, and salt & pepper wings. It was all amazing. The broth in the noodles was satisfying, the kung pow was just the right amount of spicy, and the wings were crisp and delicious. I'm glad we found and stopped here. The only 'miss' is that our takeout order didn't include rice. We didn't order any, so maybe that's something we needed to do. Highly recommended!

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place because of all the good reviews. The food is actually good but I don't know if the staff was just overwhelmed because service was very slow. There were 2 people serving. We came in for dinner and ordered 4 entrees and the beef noodle soup. If you are looking for a place where you get everything you ordered at once to eat together this place isn't it. From the time we ordered, it took them a 1/2 hour to bring in our first dish which was the Mongolian beef. You can't eat that by itself so we just waited and 10 min later our noodles came. People that came in after us and ordered after us were also getting their dishes and it looked like it was coming out 1 at a time also. We started eating cause we were so hungry already. Our soup came out next with barely any broth and all noodles so we asked them if they could bring us back extra broth. They took our bowl of soup and never came back with it. We asked for water from 2 different people and never got it. After an hour of us waiting, we had enough, never got our soup back or the fried rice and shrimp we ordered so we ended up leaving and paying for what we had on the table and went out to eat elsewhere. You might have a better experience here if you come back at an off time when they aren't busy.

This place rocks. I know it use to be an awesome boba place called "Tealightful". Sad to see them go, but man, Im glad I found my new chinese place for Clairemont. Kinda wanted to keep it a secret. But with how good the service was and nice the people. I had to share and give these people the love they deserve. The prices are on the expensive side, but dont be alarmed the quality of food and portion size you get is massive. Definitely family style. I was very impressed and hope this place does well.

Yelp
After 村北 closed our family has been looking between SD and OC for a restaurant with classic 锅包肉 (no tomato paste version pls)...for a long time, and we finally found it! We also ordered a chicken and mushroom stew, pig ears, and an oil-splashed noodles (such a great flavor!). A special shout out to the white rice - so fragrant and we were guessing probably Northeastern Chinese rice. The interior is spacious, clean, and a lovely place to enjoy a meal in! Some dishes took a while to come out, but the servers were nice and receptive to our requests for some adjustments. Our family will definitely be coming back

Yelp
The food is absolutely delicious. We just ate there the walnut shrimp and the pineapple pork are both. Excellent. I called to tell them how good it was unfortunately the phone number that's listed. It says that their voicemail box is full and no one's answering hard to build a business that way

Yelp
This place was so delicious, the spicy beef noodles couldn't have tasted better. The server was very welcoming and made sure everything was good. Go to this place if you are hungry they will not disappoint

Yelp
As a person from northeastern China, this place is super legit!! The dumplings are delicious, the beef roll is good, all the fried dishes taste great. Service is super attentive and the decor is bright and airy. Highly recommend checking this place out if you are craving some Chinese food!

Yelp
Terribly salty. So salty that it made the inside of my mouth burn. Nearly inedible. 10/10 would not recommend.

Yelp
Clean, quaint, wonderful service, and good food. The server was extremely attentive and kind. My husband and I were welcomed like honored guests. My husband had the chicken and mushroom stew, and I had spicy beef noodles. Never having tried either of these dishes, we were surprised and had a "food adventure," as we call it. (The chicken stew was piled with chopped up chicken feet, and the plate of noodles I was expecting turned out to be a huge bowl of soup, generous in both beef and noodles that looked homemade.) Both dishes had excellent flavor. There was a large section on the menu of "northern" dishes that looked interesting. I'd love to go back sometime and try some other things. They do have the usual orange chicken and broccoli beef for the less adventurous.

Yelp
Best meal in a while by far. So tasty and well seasoned! Good portions and incredibly reasonable prices. Excellent service from start to end.

Yelp
We wanted to avoid the crowds on Convoy on a Friday evening so decided to try this new place. We ordered the spicy beef noodle soup, the spicy shredded chicken noodles and the pork and cabbage dumplings. We enjoyed all the dishes. I especially liked the texture of the homemade noodles. Will come back again to try the other items on their menu.

Yelp
We are on vacation & the children were hangry so my husband found this place. Being from NorCal I was skeptical of how it would be, but I was pleasantly surprised. I appreciated the clean & comfortable seating, the fast & attentive service (she came by several times to fill our water cups & see if we needed anything for the children), and the food was so delicious! Everything came out perfectly seasoned & piping hot with generous portions. We ordered salt & pepper fish, salt & pepper chicken wings, hot oil splashed noodles, wontons in chili oil, chive dumplings, and sautéed green beans. I really loved the green beans as they were full of flavor & not too soggy or greasy, but still had the snappy texture. All the ingredients tasted very high quality. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants Northeastern Chinese food & our family would definitely come back here again if we are in town.

Yelp
Food is good and service is great - try the MILK PUDDING it's lovely and refreshing! The noodle dishes are good portions.

Yelp
Best Chinese food in San Diego at the moment. Noodles are absolutely fresh and obviously made in house, shrimp was cooked to perfection. We typically cook at home because we can't find great Chinese food- now we will eat here often.

Yelp
Good food, simple but clean and neat interior, nice selection of dishes. But staff has very little english. Help them out by ordering on line and check your to go order and bill carefully. I ordered 4 items to go but in person at the restaurant, however I only received 3. They only charged me for those 3. I didn't check! I will be back to try some more of their dishes.
