We had a fantastic lunch at Tasty Korean. The service was excellent from the moment we walked in, the owner was friendly and we were so impressed with the quality of the food. We ordered from the lunch menu and the portions were good for two people. We left feeling completely full and very satisfied. I highly recommend checking them out for a delicious and filling meal!

Google
A great little family owed place! Went for lunch and the portions were big and tasty. My husband and I have never eaten Korean food before. The owner, Richard, was great about explaining the food, and a bit about Korean culture (his wife, the cook/boss, is from Korea). This is a great hole in the wall, the restaurant isn’t fancy, but the food and the owners are AMAZING! Give this place a try!

Google
Came here for the lunch special with my wife and she got the Korean Beef and I got the Katsu Pork and both were delicious. Portions are generous so you will be full after eating. Glad we came here and that it's so close to home.

Google
Absolutely delicious! The food was fantastic, the restaurant was very clean, and the owners were so sweet! This will be a new go to spot for us!

Google
This place is amazing. The food is very authentic and tastes the same as it did when I lived in Korea. I can’t recommend it enough. The lunch specials are a great deal and you leave full every time. All of that food plus a bottle of water was 16$. Can’t beat that!

Google
Awesome for dine in and awesome for take out. Dinner here once was amazing. Just stopped by on my lunch break from work (early) and caught them before any lunch rush. My food was ready for carry out within 10 mins of ordering. Awesome service.

Google
Great little find! Take out was quick. Plenty of food and was very tasty. Will definitely be eating there again.

Google
Was ok, had better Korean food, though they do give a lot of food for $20 that can be split between two people. The spicy chicken wasn’t spicy at all. The rice was a little mushy. Would try one more time at least to try a different dish.

Yelp
Came in on a Tuesday night, restaurant was pretty empty but I also came an hour before closing. The owner was quick and attentive, and had some great conversations with him. I ordered the bulgogi, came with plenty of sides and rice. As you can tell from my pic, probably was enough for two. Owner also stated if I liked any of the sides he would bring more. If you're in the area check this little place out!

Yelp
Setting was old and dirty. The table felt like it had not been cleaned. The food tasted old as well. Not sure if I have tasted rice like that, must've been old too. I would not go back

Yelp
We ordered the spicy chicken and bulgogi lunch sets and they were both really good! There's a great amount of food for the price - I made two meals out of just one of the lunches. The banchan complemented the mains well and tasted fresh, my favorite was the seasoned pickled radish. I ordered delivery so I can't speak to the service of the restaurant but food arrived still warm and I would definitely recommend eating here.

Yelp
Very pricey, mediocre flavor. Dinner portion is no different than lunch portions. Sides are not all Korean. Seen roach spray behind curtains to kitchen Be careful. First impressions are everything.

Yelp
Very good food and service was friendly and fast! Close to Ft. Carson. Highly recommend! Would definitely return.
google avatar

Yelp
Food is pricey for the amount, table wasn't that clean, place was empty when I got there. Owner works the register and did all interactions, that was pretty good. Restroom felt a little dingy. Might be a good place for lunch when prices are reduced.
google avatar

Yelp
Friendly service but prices were high and doesn't match the menu online. My sundubu Jjigae did not have any favor and it only had shrimp. I get this soup not matter what Korean Restaurant I go to and this did not taste like anything. Kimbop was ok.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing food. Authentic and delicious. Highly recommend! Very nice owners. Wish I had pictures but we ate everything as quick as they brought it. Recommend everything on the menu.

Yelp
Gal be was good souse, bbq food was also just right to cook. Service was good to welcome to their restaurant to eat their food. Side food was good, too.

Kendra H.

Yelp
Delicious food! Quiet place but simple is better in this case. The owners do completely everything and provided fast service for just the two of them working! Can't wait to visit again!

Yelp
Ordered the bolguki cheese fries, which was basically a heavenly meal of carbs after a long day. Layered with fries, an assortment of different cheeses, marinated beef and topped with scallions and some sriracha--this was what I needed after a long day. SO GOOD. I also got the bulgogi and bibimbap. Both were delightful and huge portions, although I do wish the egg was runny rather than hard in the bibimbap. They also provide free bottled water which is a nice touch. Prices are on the higher side, but portions make up for it as you'll probably get a few meals out of it!

Yelp
Good food and service! I had the spicy bulgogi lunch special. The dish came with cucumber Kim Chi, sprouts, 1 Yaki man do, rice, and some potatoes. It was so much food. Great place for lunch especially if you are hungry.

Bryant A.

Yelp
Great place! Tasty food. Will definitely choose to eat here again in the future, very clean as well!

Yelp
This restaurant is surprisingly excellent. It's in a tiny little shopping center I didn't expect much when I saw it. I called ahead and place a to go order. My food was ready in less time than it took for me to drive there which is about 15 minutes. The server was great. We ordered a ton of food, and it was all delicious. I had bulgogi and Bimbop plus an extra order of Kimche. I even added a dessert that was sitting on the counter when I picked up and some bottled drinks. It was a butter moshi dessert. I recommend it. The food was great.
google avatar

Brejon R.

Yelp
That food was bomb, we weren't sure at first due to the smell and being empty when we first came in. Glad we went because their kimchi (and sides) and that pork katsu was so bomb.

Yelp
My new GO-TO Korean spot in the Springs! So happy my battle buddy aka hubby found this place. It is tucked away in a sketchy looking shopping center, so it has that hole in the wall vibe so you know it's going to be eerily good. I came here for lunch in the middle of the week and it was pretty busy. I noticed that there was one server who was super! She was sweet, informative and prompt. All you could ask for in customer service. Though I came for lunch, I ordered from the regular menu - so yes they have a lunch menu, but with the regular menu, you get all the bonchon or sides. For me, when it comes to Korean food, I'm about the bonchon. If I can't enjoy my proteins and main dishes without some tasty bonchon, I'm done...thankfully, the bonchon here is TASTY! So tasty that you could see and taste the time and effort they put into preparing it. I'm a very heavy protein eater- meats are a way to my heart. Korean BBQ is one of my faves. Pork belly is a weakness of mine so I had to try the spicy pork belly. Whoooo! Flavors had me in a slight state of euphoria. I had it all- spice, sweet, salt, Smokey....mmmm...I loved the touch of fresh green onions on top with the side of rice. It was a good portion that I'm sure I could share. My hubby had one of the hot soups-I'm not quite the soup person, but it was tasty. I'm sure he'll review it in his own review. All in all-great experience with lovely service.

Yelp
I was in Colorado Springs when my coworker had a craving for some Korean food. Being Korean, I couldn't let him down so I had to find a tasty place. Low and behold, a Korean restaurant called Tasty Korean. There weren't a lot of reviews on Yelp, but the few that were on there seemed legit so we decided to try it out. We went during lunchtime and were seated right away. They have some lunch specials which are what you would traditionally find as lunch specials at most Korean restaurants. I decided to order the Spicy Pork and my coworker got the Spicy Bulgogi (beef). We also decided to order a Kimchi Jeon as an appetizer, which is best explained as a Korean pancake. The Kimchi Jeon is ON POINT! Just the right amount of chewy with crispiness! The kimchi taste was solid and not too overbearing. It was absolutely delicious! The lunch special comes out as a bento box. We prefer to call it as a "do-shi-rak." Bottom line, everything tasted authentic and portions were enough to make me full. I hesitated coming here initially but I honestly think this place might be the most authentic tasting Korean restaurant in all of Colorado! Definitely will drop by again if in the area.

Yelp
Delicious! I've gone here twice when I needed to visit Fort Carson. The food is so tasty and pretty quick to come out. You get a nice variety of things to taste with the lunch specials. The owner is a nice guy who helped me figure out what I might like the first visit. I'll be back!

Hannah H.

Yelp
The food was absolutely amazing! Best Korean I've had yet. The staff was wonderful and kind, and the food came out quick. Such a nice place to enjoy a great lunch!

Yelp
Bulgolgi is so yummy!! Went here twice randomly and even my friends liked their bugolgi. I got the spicy bulgogi and they got the regular bugolgi and chicken bulgogi. We all left happy and full!

Yelp
Great little hole in the wall Korean restaurant. Super authentic. Truly a mom and pop operation. Husband works the front of the house and wife (Korean) is the outstanding cook. I ordered the bibimbab hot bowl. It was fantastic. Don't let the rundown strip mall scare you. This place has very authentic Korean food. Makes you feel like you are back in South Korea.

Yelp
I have been looking for a Korean restaurant that I love for 4 years now and this place has hit the spot!! I'll never go anywhere else. I'm beyond impressed with the flavor and presentation of their food. My heart is whole again!
google avatar

Linda M.

Yelp
The name speaks for itself, it is just that!! TASTY!! The broth for the side soup was the same broth for the galbi(short rib) soup, delicious. Also loved the side dishes and Dolsot bibimbap I had!
google avatar

Brittany D.

Yelp
I've ordered take-out twice from this restaurant and both times were awesome!! I'm Korean-American and their food really hits the spot. My personal favorite is their japchae. They're really generous with the side dishes and I'll definitely eat here again.

Mei Ki H.

Yelp
Veryyyyy bad, had high hope to it due to its good comments here. The kimbop roll is loose and the rice and vegetables are very dry that I am quite sure it is some overnight stocks...from color of rice to the dryness of vegetables, they are exactly like the our homemade overnight kimbop. We ordered 2 box, they are both like that, we had many kimbop in Korea, Asia and US in different restaurants. This one is the worst.

Yelp
Went here before the Janes Taylor concert. I won't lie was a little leery about going in after we saw the parking lot and where it was located. Very sketchy area. The restaurant was very clean including the bathroom. Food was so so good. Better than my favorite Tong Tong. Had the Kimchi pancake and Japchae. Everything was wonderful including the sides. Will definitely be back and bring more people!

Yelp
First of, this place is owned by a veteran. The food, especially dukpokki is phenomenal. This is apart of my restaurant lists, it really brings it back home. 10/10 recommend this place

Yelp
Really happy to have found this korean spot! The ambiance reminds me of small family owned restaurants back home in Hawaii. Small, clean, and well kept inside. We did take out and recieved our food very promptly. The staff is very friendly - we will definitely be back to dine in! We both got the bibimbap and were very happy with the taste and portion size! Loved that they included hot sauce with the meal. Overall very happy with this place, we will be back and recommending to friends!

Yelp
Yummy food and lots of it! My favorite was the bulgogi! We had an angel cake, which was new to me. Gamsahabnida!

Cassandra S.

Yelp
Met the owner when I had lunch with a coworker and loved the food very yummy and came out quick! 100% will be going back soon

Yelp
Omg this place is AMAZING ,definitely am not disappointed, ordered the spicy Bulgogi and it is absolutely one of the best I've had in town. Definitely a must try and if you haven't you need to add it to your list of places to try!

Yelp
Don't get scared by the sketchy parking lot and location. This place is legit. Good and service was amazing. Definitely will go back again if I'm in the area!

Yelp
Food was amazing! A hole in the wall that did not disappoint. Very much enjoyed, would definitely recommend.

Yelp
After a chilly day at Seven Falls, we wanted something warm and comforting. Korean food was on my mind. I was new to the area and didn't know which one to pick. Luckily, we went here and it was AMAZING!!! Our family shared Bulgogi, spicy Bulgogi, and kimchi Jjigae. We didn't have to wait long and the food came out sizzling and hot. We talked to the husband and got to hear his family story, how him and his wife met, and that it was his wife's dream to open the restaurant. My dad who's Vietnamese said that this is the best food that he had for the whole trip in Colorado, and he's not wrong. I hope more people know more about this place because the food is 10000% worth it.

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Great little hole in the wall place. Very authentic. Pretty pricey but delicious. Worth it!!

Kassie G.

Yelp
Everything tasted delicious! Love that they explained each side. I got the bulgogi fries and tteok bokki. Will definitely come again!
google avatar

Philip T.

Yelp
Flew in from out of town and my cousin suggested this place. I'm giving 5 stars for the food and service. The parking lot was horrible though. I got the lunch special bulgogi while my mom ordered the lunch spicy bulgogi. The meat was juicy and all the food was made fresh and served in a bento box. Would definitely come back.
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered thru Yelp and they were closed when we got there (during stated business hours). Then they still charged my card which I had to dispute since no one Ever answers at Grubhub.
google avatar

Yelp
One of the first Korean places that tasted like home. Overall a good experience! Reasonably priced authentic Korea food especially around Colorado.

Yelp
My family and I happened upon this gem while driving back from Pueblo to Denver. First off, this is a very hole-in-the-wall place, but believe me it's worth the try. Our waitress was so attentive to our large party (2 adults and 5 kids, 3 whom are very small). She said the older kids could order off the lunch bento menu and the 3 little ones were given complimentary rice, bulgogi, and japchae. My husband and I ordered regular bulgogi, spicy bulgogi, and the japchae. Man was the food delicious!!! The bonchon was very tasty as well. We left full and happy. The owner was a very nice gentleman who's a veteran, and had opened the restaurant right before covid happened. I will continue to give my business to this establishment, and hope they are there for many more years!

Nikkisha F.

Yelp
Quaint little place, the owner is very friendly and such a sweet person. The food was great and the prices aren't bad at all. Drinks are self serve and the bottled water is free. I'll keep going as long as the service stays as good as this.
google avatar

Teresa T.

Yelp
I legit go to this place at least 5 times a month. I've actually gone 3 days in a row. I go during my lunch as it is right outside of Fort Carson. One thing to keep in mind is that during the lunch hour they do get pretty busy, so just account for that time. The food does come out pretty fast, and is effen amazing. The first few times I went in the food wasn't spicy enough for me, I did ask if they could make it spicer and they had no issues doing so. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Kauai I.

Yelp
Newly opened Korean restaurant in B street right outside of Fort Carson. Nice little place kind of hidden. Inside is tidy and cozy. The owner is friendly and outgoing. She just started making kimchee dumplings and they are delicious!
google avatar

Airish M.

Yelp
Super love their food!! Japchae and spicy pork especially their side dish! Also delivery service is amazing, very fast service!
google avatar

Julie N.

Yelp
Close to home and very tasty. I will definitely be coming back for more. I had the bulgogi and it didn't disappoint.
google avatar

Katie D.

Yelp
Great food! We ordered takeout from here tonight. Supporting local businesses through the quarantine. So glad we did! Everything was great: spicy bulgogi, veggie pancake, seafood soup, duk pokki. Food was fresh and tasted great. Service was friendly and helpful. They even helped me to my car! Tasty Korean is such a refreshing alternative to all the fast food chains in the area!
google avatar

Amanda C.

Yelp
Let me first start out by saying that it's hard to get good value, high quality food these days. We tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday and the food was amazing. We are have eaten all over the world, and this was superb. On top of the quality, the prices were super reasonable for lunch. I highly recommend this restaurant.
google avatar

Casie K.

Yelp
Authentic Korean food that won't disappoint. Owners are super friendly and don't cut any corners when it comes to food quality. This is my third visit ( in the last two weeks) and have got something different every time. Everything is good and I don't plan on going anywhere else for Tasty Korean food!! Also close to Fort Carson which is a plus for our family and soldiers.
