Not too big of a place but both the food and price is good! Been here a few times now and I haven’t been disappointed. If you look at the prices they can start off to about $8-$12 for each item, which is usually at least $15 now everywhere else. There is usually 1 or 2 people working and they are usually quite attentive. The place is modern and clean. I tried the “Speciel Hot Noodle” (yes it’s spelled that way) and it was just a bowl of deliciousness in each bite of noodle. It didn’t have meat, but it was ok because they have some sides you can order which was really good as well. Just note that you have to go order that as I don’t really see those dishes on the menu. (Beef tripe. Seaweed, etc.) It seems like everything you order you can pretty much add a cooked egg, so if that is your jam don’t hesitate to do so. Can’t wait to try other bowls, looking forward to my next visit. Until next time!

Google
my favorite noodle spot right now!!! i love tomato egg everything, their tomato egg hand pulled noodles are so good... especially on a rainy night like tonight. the tomato egg sauce is so silky smooth and balanced!! it's sweet, savory, tangy, and goes perfectly with the thick bouncy noodles. the noodles are so fresh (ive been told you can hear the slap of the noodles while theyre preparing them some days!!) and their flavor is so good, not starchy at all, just a perfect light flavor to carry the sauce. honestly havent tried anything else here but I would love to in the future... if you like tomato egg you NEEED to try this place!! super quick service for the time I went (~8pmish). the place is a bit quiet but it's peaceful. the decorations are so pretty!!!

Google
amazing xian restaurant. i had the paomo (pita bread soaked in soup) and the rou jia mo (pork burger) and they were both really good. i especially love the rou jia mo. i’ve tried multiple xian places in the SGV, and this one is pretty good. the food is cheap for how huge the portions are!

Google
We drive an hour to get here. It's worth every minute. We come for Saturday lunch, there's (for now) always a table available. We love the food. It's savory, spicy, rich, delicious, and priced super competitively. If you don't speak Chinese, use our pictures and enjoy our hidden secret (but be prepared for the hot spicy flavors!)

Google
We love to come to this place for a hot.bowl of noodles. Everything is delicious. Amazing food, handmade and fresh noodles, and generous portions.

Google
Tasty Xi’An is a legit spot for bold, authentic flavors. The hand-pulled noodles are perfectly chewy and the spicy lamb burgers are a must-try. Every dish feels fresh and full of character. Service is quick and the vibe is casual — perfect for a noodle fix or sharing plates with friends. Highly recommend for anyone craving real Xi’an street food in the SGV!

Google
stopped here for lunch after getting coffee and it was amazing! great price, the hot oil noodle with tomato and egg tasted amazing! they were quick and kind and it was very cool and clean inside. i fully recommend and hope to try more dishes from here!!

Google
Love the noodle here, authentic and freshly handmade- you can actually hear the bang bang sound from the kitchen :) oh and I have to recommend the salted duck- very lean and flavorful. Only one server there who’s also the owner, so don’t expect seamless service.

Yelp
No frill, just delicious northern style Chinese food. Their noodle dishes are a staple, and they load up the portion like inflation isn't a thing. My friend's favorite is their egg and tomato noodles. Mine is the cumin lamb noodle. One of a surprisingly delicious dish was their eggplant and green beans. It's not going to be your healthy veggie dish, it has a good amount of oil to stir fry, where you can taste the wok hei. Surprisingly this shop isn't busy, we never really have to wait. But, don't start adding lines to my wait if you do go. Kthxbye

Yelp
Had this place saved in case we'd be in the area & so glad that we did. It's a small place in a strip mall. Kind like a mom & pop which usually tends to be a hidden gem & this sure was. We ordered the beef noodle soup with thin noodles in a rich, flavorful broth, generous chunks of tender beef topped off with bok choy & cilantro which added the perfect freshness. The noodles were a perfect chew. We also ordered the tofu braised in soy sauce...loved the gravy which we took home to use it for loco moco. The Shanghai House sweet sour ribs was why we chose to come here because we love this Shanghai style better than the traditional American version. We thoroughly enjoyed this little spot & plan to come back

Yelp
Authentic beef noodle soup. Mom & Pop restaurant. Great service. Highly recommended

Yelp
The food is yummy, we ordered and it came out very fast. The inside of the store is open and minimalist.

Yelp
Food is delicious and very fresh! Flavor is good and good portion size. Got takeout from this place recently and the food was very good. Got 2 different kind of the meat filled buns and the egg tomatoe noodles. Everything was made fresh inhouse from scratch. Noodle was soft and bouncy exactly the way it should be. The buns were also super delicious and the meat with the sauce was on point. Parking was easy in strip mall. Highly recommend the food here!

Yelp
Xi an food is definitely different from mainstream Chinese food so even more reason to try it. We ordered from the specialty section of the menu: the lamb in pita, the hot oil egg and tomato biang biang noodles, the lamb with pita soup and tofu skin skewers. The two soup noodles bowls were huge, delicious and unique! The noodles are big and chewy and I love the lamb flavor! The pita is not your typical Bao or pita so try it! The sauce on the skewers was delightful. If you can't handle spicy, ask for mild. Like the decor as it explains where xi an food came from. On a Saturday night, most tables were taken. Great service and price! So glad we got to try it.

Siyun W.

Yelp
A parking spot is relatively easy to find in that area and the manager keeps the dining place clean. The service can be improved considering that my friends and I were sitting for an hour and they never came to refill my empty water cup. Their food tends to be on the saltier and oily side, but they taste good . However their ingredients weren't so fresh...

Yelp
Great option for Xi'an food in the area. We came at 1PM on Saturday and didn't need to wait before we were seated. The handmade biang biang noodles had a great chew and the rou jia mou was bursting with the meat filling. Great portion for the prices and service was fast.

Yelp
Great spot for Xi'an food. Very good value for what you're paying. Recommend coming with 2-4 ppl so you can order different dishes to share.

Yelp
The basin lamb of mutton pita bread soup is now easily one of my top 3 comfort soups of all time. I was told the Chinese name is "mien ge da xian" which is loosely translated to dough drop soup. This makes a lot more sense because by no means do the little cubes resemble pita bread. The texture of the dough is so bouncy and chewy and the broth is so flavorful but in a light, refreshing way. It also comes with a spicy garlic sauce to spruce up the flavor if ever needed by I thoroughly enjoyed it on its own. There wasn't that much lamb meat as I had hoped, but the flavor compensated for it.

Yelp
I'd say out of everything we ordered I loved the eggplant with green beans & chili oil noodles! The walnut shrimp was good, however, I'd definitely say it's on the smaller side compared to others. Nevertheless, it was still tasty! I also liked the ambiance of the restaurant! Lovely wall decorations and very clean. Service was quick and although the place is on the smaller side, I didn't feel cramped. Will be back again for the noodles!
google avatar

Yelp
Cumin lamb burger was pretty solid but the hot oil noodles were mediocre at best. Wouldn't recommend... perhaps others items on the menu are solid
google avatar

Yelp
A quality authentic Xi'an cuisine place! Beef Noodle Soup with hand pulled noodles hits the spot as do the Toothpick Lamb and Pork burger (done with right way with a crispy authentic way). Service was with just one waitress but things were rolling once the order was placed. Waitress was nice and friendly. Good seating areas which were nice and clean but could've used more condiments at each table rather than a select few. But otherwise a simple but decently ethnic style to the whole place. Just wish it were closer to where I lived because the prices are very good!
google avatar

Paige L.

Yelp
Purchase take out only receive 1/2 portions of the item ! Don't know if they change owner or not . Quality just sucks not like before.
google avatar

Kevin S.

Yelp
Came here with my family for lunch. Five of us. I was specifically in search of toothpick lamb with cumin and was very happy they had it on the menu. The food here is very authentic. You can tell by how many Chinese come here for lunch. The shop is on the smaller side though and it filled up quite quickly. Other dishes I recommend are the dumplings and the mapo tofu. Service was attentive but they speak primarily mandarin and May have issues taking your order so definitely keep that in mind when you're coming here for dine in.

Yelp
The food was very salty. After i went back home my tummy feels hurt. Today my tummy still feels hurt. I went t restroom several times this morning. sad..my kid feels uncomfortable too.

Yelp

Jean L.

Yelp
The food was very salty, we will not back to the restaurant again. This place used to be good, but not anymore.
google avatar

Gretchen R.

Yelp
We decided to try this restaurant since reviews seemed to indicate they serve hand pulled noodles. Yes, they do (yum)! The stir fry noodles with lamb were very tasty. The dish consists of udon shaped noodles, lamb, cabbage, and lots of cumin all stir fried. English is a bit limited here and not all the menu items are described well, so prepare to be adventurous if you're not already familiar with the dish. The spicy beef noodle soup was ok but the lamb noodles were my fav.
google avatar

Yelp
TLDR: Excellent noodles, especially the special hot oil one which features a tomato and egg flavor. The dish is lighter on the meaty side but very tasty nonetheless. Communication may be a little awkward if you're Chinese passing but not enough to ruin the experience. - - - - - - Tasty Xi'an has been on my bookmarks since last summer, and I finally ventured out to try it on a weekend afternoon. I enjoyed how aesthetically clean the restaurant is, and the wooden chairs and small tables reminded me of my visit to China many years back. I ordered the Special Hot Oil Noodle, which mostly features a thick tomato and egg jelly with bok choi and slices of meat. The noodles were of excellent quality and very chewy. The bok choi was fresh, and the meat was enough to be there but not be the main character of the entree. As someone who enjoys eating vegetarian, this was a nice meal that was lighter on the meaty side. The tomato was naturally sweet, and I enjoyed the mix of spices and garlic with each bite. The only parts of the visit I didn't enjoy too much was the assumption that I spoke fluent Chinese - ordering was not my favorite part of the visit. I'm also not sure why I didn't enjoy the taste of the water, and with only one staff member working I felt bad asking for water. I let my weak spice tolerance overcome me and proceeded to cough every other bite - oops!
google avatar

Andelu L.

Yelp
Very small portion! I ordered their hot and spicy lamb chops, but 90% of the dish was actually peppers! This is horrible. Don't waste your money on this.
google avatar

Yvonne C.

Yelp
YUMMM!! Love the taste and texture of the handmade noodles. It's super fresh and authentic but a bit oily for the soup. Of course I had to try the hometown style pork rouburg. It was on the front page of the menu calling my name! The breading was not too hard which I like but the meat kind of falls out. I didn't mind it much cus it was delicious. It wasn't busy when we got there so the service was fairly quick. There's parking right outside the establishment.

Yelp
-- at 品味西安 Tasty Xi' An.

Yelp
Everything tasted amazing. The serving size for the honey walnut shrimp was kinda small but other than that everything was amazing.

Yelp
I've picked up food here 3 times now and every single time, there was noone inside eating. This was alarming the first time, but soon it got me wondering why because the food is really good. We really like the toothpick lamb with cumin, eggplant with garlic sauce, special hot oil noodle, and yang chow fried rice. Everything tasted really good, flavorful, not overly salty, just really nice. The workers barely speak any english and ordering over the phone can be a bit tough but if you tell them the menu item numbers, you shouldn't have any issue.
google avatar

Yelp
The Special Hot Oil Noodle with Tomato and Egg is one of my favorite Chinese dishes in all of Diamond Bar.

The food here is so fresh and ddeliciously good, good I was referred by some friends... thank you guys! I'm very happy...

Yelp
Love this place, always my go to for bringing family and friends too whenever they're in the area. Family from the Philippines really like this place. Tasty Xi'an has a large menu but everything is cooked well and tastes great. Portions are also quite large, I always leave with leftovers which is a good thing :) makes a good meal for the next day. There are a lot of things on the menu to try, their mapo tofu is the best. Perfectly numbing and spicy enough for most people to enjoy.

Jayne Angeline C.

Yelp
So fortunate to live close to this gem! We stumbled upon this place just looking for a late dinner and we've been coming back since. We especially like their spicy fried fish and the tomato egg noodles. The braised beef noodle tasted good but the meat could be more tender. They were very nice to us too!
google avatar

K C.

Yelp
Food was prepared fast. I had chicken fried rice and chicken/corn soup. All delicious and good price. Took food to go. Waitress was super nice. Cash only under $25.
google avatar

Megan P.

Yelp
Ordered Togo & got pork dumplings and toothpick lamb. They didn't include any sauce making the dumplings a little dry and while they tasted good, the wrapping was breaking apart. The lamb was spicy & flavorful, but was super dry... maybe the experience in person is better.
google avatar

L H.

Yelp
Pretty good. I tried this place a while back when it just opened. Got the same beef dish and it still holds up the expectation. Chinese burger is pretty good, flavorful and the bun is not hard like I had at other places.
google avatar

Dani K.

Yelp
Everything ordered here was delicious. Definitely order a soup with your meal. I bring a six-pack of tsing tao with me when I eat here and it isn't an issue. I also order the 50 frozen pot stickers to go so that I can reheat my left overs and refresh my plate. Everything is so good that the language barrier isn't that big of a deal. The servers aren't being rude they just aren't as used to people not speaking to them in their own language but they do their best to get you what you need. I'm usually the only person who speaks English everytime I'm here.

Yelp
Did not know this place existed until it came up in my list of recommendations from Uber eats. Was craving some Xi'an food and decided to give this a try despite it being new, it didn't even show up on Google or Yelp with the initial search. We did take out using Uber eats so cannot comment on the ambience. Ordered: Stir-fried lamb with cumin burger Xi'an mutton soup Special hot chili oil noodle Everything tasted flavorful, pretty standard Xi'an style. The flavor is good, on par with most Xi'an places. They also have an extensive menu of other Chinese dishes. However I was a little disappointed that they do not have Biang Biang noodles, at least not on Uber eats. Still definitely worth a stop.
google avatar

Mickey L.

Yelp
Did not know this place existed until it popped up on Uber Eats. Apperently it replaced Lu Ding Ji restaurant, which had replaced a nice family run Xian restaurant. I will miss having a Li Ding Ji in the area, but welcome back a close Xian place. Jumped at a chance to so take out. First thing I noticed was the menu did not have Biang Biang noodles a favorite of mine. So opted for the Special Hot Spicy Oil Noodle, Xi'an Mutton Soup and Stir fried lamb with cumin burger which all were very flavorful. A little on the salty side but exactly what I expected. Overall flavorful Xian food, has good potential will be back, for dine in.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is delicious! The noodles are fresh made and the stir fries are flavorful. The beef stew noodle soup is also delicious here. Packed with flavor. We also ordered to-go once, they include the noodles in a separate compartment so that they are fresh when you arrive home. Great authentic Chinese place.
google avatar

Alison C.

Yelp
I've had roujiamo from Xi'An before so when I saw the rouburge I was super excited to try some. It's good! The place feels very authentic. I wish I knew more Chinese to interact with the staff more or understand the menu. The pictures look great but the English translations make it hard to know what it actually is sometimes. The noodles were an okay choice. They had a good texture but the flavor reminded me of ketchup noodles that my dad used to make when I was younger. Not bad but I would pick a different dish next time. I think I'd come back for the rouburge. The location is in a nice plaza with plenty of parking. I came for lunch but I think it would be good for dinner because the dishes are on the heartier side unless you want the appetizer as a snack.
google avatar

Chris H.

Yelp
Tasty Xian is relatively new and I have only tried the Liang Pi but from that one dish alone, I know that their other dishes must be authentic as well. The portions were absolutely massive - easily shared between two people, and the texture of the wheat noodles were spot on. I also enjoyed the vinegar, chili oil, and sesame paste blend, on par with some of the most authentic liang pi dishes I have tried. Looking forward to trying their other offerings!
google avatar

Charles N.

Yelp
I was craving some noodles so my friend took me to this restaurant. I'm used to the egg noodles and clear pork broth. I wasn't expecting thick rice noodles with beef. However, you have to try different things in life or else how do you know if you like it or not? I went with the recommend and it was quite good! I also got the fried rice which was excellent. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. I would definitely come back.
google avatar

Ali Y.

Yelp
It was my first time here. The braised beef noodle soup is delicious! Broth is clean and full of flavor, and the noodles taste homemade. The chicken fried rice was also delightful. I'm very picky when it comes to rice, so I was happy that the rice tasted fresh. The portion is also great for its price especially in this economy (i think it was $9). Also, this place feels like a mom&pop restaurant. The service isn't overbearing like most places these days, but they are still prompt. Overall, it was a very delicious meal and I am definitely coming back again.

Yelp
No service here!!!!! Ordered a noodle for dining. After The lady who working here put the bowl on the table, idk why! She didn't give me chopsticks for a f k noodles? WTH I don't deserve!! LoL

Yelp
I came here with my friend, and we were amazed. To my impression, lots of Chinese dishes are spicy, red, and oily, but this restaurant is not. The food here tastes great. The price is really good for the portion. We ordered the Sauerkraut and Pork Casserole. We thought the portion is good for two persons, but when it came, it was big enough for 8+. It's really good for someone who likes sauerkraut's sourness. After eating some meat, having sauerkraut soup refreshes the taste. We also ordered the beef fried noodle. It has the chewy tasty. It goes really well with the thick sauce. The only thing is because the noodle is fried, it's a little oily. The hamburger-like meat bun is also good. The bun has the aroma of the flour. It's not dry when eating with the juicy shredded pork inside. The dry pot intestines are just perfect. Usually, the intestine has this oily taste. But they fried the intestines well enough to get rid of the fat. Instead of a soft texture, it is chewy. The sauce is pretty much soaked in the intestines. Even though it was spicy, we were able to taste the food. IT's perfect to go with white rice.

Yelp
There's a "Coming Soon" sign outside but they are open. Takeout and indoor seating available. Food was ready in 15 minutes! Menu selection: They offer a wide range of dishes--dry pot, noodles, dumplings, sizzling plate and much more. Location/parking: The restaurant is located inside the Jack in the Box plaza and parking is easy to find--came around lunch time and there were many spaces available. Taste: Ordered (#7) Stir-fried Lamb and Cumin burger, (#15) Pork, Shrimp, and leek dumpling, (#20) Special Hot Oil Noodle with vegetable and pork, and (#21) Cold Noodle with Sesame. Burger was a good serving size but definitely an appetizer kind of thing. Very flavorful & meat was nice and soft. Dumplings were as expected--meat was juicy and dumpling skins were great. The dish I was kind of disappointed in was the cold noodles with sesame. Maybe I'm just not a fan of cold noodles. Favorite dish was the special hot oil noodle. The noodles had a good chewiness and a good width. It must have been cooked on a wok with good heat since you could taste the pan-fried essence in the noodles. In my opinion the meat in the burger and noodles were a bit on the salty side but overall flavor was good with their respective pairings within the bun and in the noodles. Will be back to try out some more dishes!

Yelp
Been here so many times that this place deserves a 5 star review on its noodle dishes! HEADS UP: this place SPECIALIZES In Xi'an dishes so don't makes the mistakes I did by ordering Szechuan dishes here the first time, go straight to the first & second pages where noodles and Xi'an dishes are at! The noodles are like Biang Biang noodles (or belt noodles, handle pulled to order) and we absolutely love them! Great textures and the noodle soaks up all the flavors of the sauce or broth it's just so freaking good. Our current favorites are braised lamb bone noodle soup & #23 tomato & egg bell shaped noodle soup. The veggies stir fry here are on point delicious too. Had it so many times and we are still not tired of it yet. A hidden gem with fair priced noodle shop here in DB!

Yelp
Found this little jewel on a whim. Almost left before tasting anything but so glad we stayed. EVERYTHING we tried this visit was amazing!

Yelp
This place fulfilled what I was looking for with wide hand-pulled noodles in hot chili oil. I ordered the featured dish #22 Special Hot Oil Noodle with Tomato & Egg. I don't normally enjoy the tomato and egg dish, but this flavor was done so well that I found myself pleasantly surprised. Very satisfied with this large bowl for $12 with perfectly bouncy, chewy, fresh noodles.

Yelp
Their beef noodle soup is very good. I go there for take out about every 10 days. That should be a good indication of my thoughts on this business. Issue is language with employees, they are English Learners.
