"Katy residents don’t have to go far for terrific Korean fare. This local gem tucked away in an unassuming shopping center has over 100 items on the menu, including bibimbap (Korean rice dishes), noodles, soups, and Korean barbecue. Cook the meat at the tabletop grill or request dishes to be cooked by the kitchen. And what is a Korean meal without an array of banchan? The housemade kimchi is a must." - Minh Truong, Sean Hekmat

"This hole-in-the-wall specializes in hearty Korean soups and stews like budae chigae and daeji bulgogi dolsot. Add the seafood pancake to your order, and for a truly epic feast, finish off with Korean barbecue or a platter of fried chicken." - Sean Hekmat

We like eating here because their side dishes are delicious. We stopped coming for a while because they used to serve the side dishes on Styrofoam plates, but I'm glad they changed that. The seafood pancake is good, octopus is cooked perfectly! The service is always great and appreciative.

This is a nice family owned business, with really laid back ambiance and is a great place to stop by for a quick meal. The food was excellent and came out fast.

This is a good Korean restaurant in Katy. I should have tried it a long time ago. But this also means that I would like to come here more often. I tried quite a few dishes this time. They all tasted good. I highly recommended the seafood pancake. The price is also reasonable. That said, the udon is unimpressive. But I ordered this by mistake anyway. Typically Korean restaurants’ fried udons are no good. So I don’t think it’s anything bad about this restaurant. However, the fried chicken is a bit disappointing. The meat is too dried. I suspect that it has been re-fried.

I like the food here, it comes out so quick. The food was tasty and authentic. Bên couple times and they never disappointed me

Very low key gem Korean BBQ in Katy! So far been here a few times and each time the food and service have been on point. All the dishes are fresh!

Google
We picked up food here. The family run business was so friendly. Everyone here is like an elder, so keep that in mind for in terms of your expectations for speed. The food was yummy, though, on the sweeter side. It doesn't taste greasy at all.

Had a great dinner date here with my wife. Food was amazing and fairly priced. Service was quick and friendly. I would highly recommend!

We visited Tasty Ko which is advertised as a Korean BBQ place but we decided to order Korean dishes instead. The restaurant is very clean and traditional and even the bathroom was spotless though the hand paper towel machine was broken. We tried the Jjambong, Jjajangmyeon, donkatsu, and seafood pancakes. The seafood pancakes were chewy, fresh, and delicious. The Jjajangmyeon was decent good enough to eat but if you’re expecting authentic Korean Jjajangmyeon, this isn’t it. The donkatsu was a highlight! It was perfectly cooked, and the sauce was flavorful and served in a generous portion. Our whole group loved it. Unfortunately, the Jjambong was disappointing. While it looked great, the flavors didn’t blend together and felt incomplete as if something was missing. They served us four side dishes but I wasn’t a big fan of their kimchi. It had an overly distinct pepper flake flavor that I didn’t enjoy. The service, however, was excellent. The staff was very kind and attentive. Overall, this place is good for a non-Korean restaurant. If you’re looking for truly authentic Korean flavors, this isn’t the one.

Yelp
If you love tofu soup and Korean barbecue, this is your spot! They also have a ton of bibimbaps, noodle, and typical Korean rice dishes. You can also get soju or maekgoli to go with your yummy food. This place is pretty good for large groups and family gatherings. The inside has a bunch of booths and it's pretty brightly lit. The service was great last time we were here. I think it's family owned and and there's a cool karaoke spot nearby you can checkout after!

Yelp
Not sure what happened to this restaurant but used to be good. Servers are still friendly like usual and greet you as soon as you walk in the door. Ambiance is still clean and adequate space while having that Korean restaurant vibe to it. Food are very oily and salty. Seafood pancake ($14) used to be so crispy yet soft. It was oily and soggy last night. Also, they no longer serve it on a hot clay plate. Galbitang ($23) wasn't bad but saltier than I have anticipated. Bulgogi bibimbap ($16) was oily, even oilier the day after. I mixed in white rice at home to try to tame the oiliness. Side dishes was just meh, more in the vinegar side. Overall, it's okay - not bad but not great. By the way, they close at 10 PM, not 11 PM.

Christopher C.

Yelp
Sweet service, good food, and vast menu. I stick to gamjatang and it's quite filling for $14. The jjajjangmyun is similar to that of h-mart, and the Mandoo guk is warm and great to eat during a cold night. Cheers!

Nina K.

Yelp
Really enjoyed this Korean spot on Mason. We ordered the budae jjigae soup and the bulgogi. Both were really tasty and good portions. The only thing I didn't like was the spam in the soup - it tasted off. The staff was friendly although they accidentally brought us the wrong meat initially and quickly grabbed it back. I like how the seating is separated. The banchan were good as well.

Victoria N.

Yelp
Service was a 5/5, very attentive and caring staff! I ordered the seafood pancake, galbi and bibim naengmyun. The seafood pancake flavor was good, but a little doughy. I would definitely request it to be extra crispy next visit. The galbi flavor, consistency and quality were all good! And the bibim naengmyun was also delicious.

Christopher S.

Yelp
KATY, TX 77450 / KOREAN / 07-31-23 / DINNER +The mool naeng myun (noodles in cold beef broth) was pretty good. +They have a 12-and-under rice and protein offering that's $8. -The ojingeo dolsot (spicy octopus over rice in hot stone pot) left a lot to be desired. There wasn't much flavor to it except for loads of red pepper flakes. -The jjajangmyeon (noodles in black bean sauce) was extremely salty. -The kids bulgogi (marinated thinly-sliced ribeye Korean BBQ) was extremely salty. -The decor is a bit dated and could use some renovating. -The restrooms need to be cleaned and remodeled. -Like other reviewers, the owner/managers were not friendly or customer experience-oriented. -It looks like they have an old school point-of-sale system, as we were given a handwritten check; see the attached picture. -No loyalty rewards program. There's over 80 items on the menu to choose from, which doesn't necessarily equate to everything being good. I asked for their best, most popular dish and our waitress recommended that we order the soups and BBQ dishes. Overall, I am not sure I would return but the Korean cuisine options are so limited in Katy/Houston.

Mylan N.

Yelp
Great neighborhood korean restaurant! Enjoyed the seafood pancake, stir fried udon with seafood and the spicy pork bimbimbap. Will be back!

Thomas K.

Yelp
Well outside of Katy Chinatown is a gem of a Korean restaurant which has become one of my favorites for both its authenticity and consistently wonderful meals. The service is incredibly efficient and always on point and the surroundings although not trendy are quite functional for both servers and patrons who wish to enjoy a flavorful experience.

Jordi C.

Yelp
1st time trying Korean food and was blown away. Such good food and service. The owner was so sweet and stirred my food so it would taste better. For sure coming back.

Thien T.

Yelp
Small not crazy crowded during Saturday lunch. Staff is so nice. It wasn't loud very family friendly. Food was delicious and everything was so flavorful.

Candy C.

Yelp
Greet as I walked in. Staff is friendly and helpful. It's and open area with partitions. Family friendly and clean. Normally, I don't comment on the water but for some reason the water was crisp, clear and refreshing. We started with a Seafood Pancake - crispy and delicious Budae Chigae Spicy stew of marinated pork, sausage, kimchi, onion, carrot, zucchini, green onion, spam, cheddar cheese, rice cake, and ramen noodle. So delicious I almost finished the whole thing, comfort in a bowl. Spicy but not too Spicy, the whole stew flavor bombs with ever bite. The sides were ok. If you are in Katy, stop by TastyKo.

Geoni M.

Yelp
Has it been five years since the last time I went to this restaurant? My, how time flies. Anyway, coming back to this restaurant was a wise decision as the ambience was as how I remembered it. I initially ordered the dolsot bibimbap but my server recommended I try the beef bulgogi bibimbap instead, and it was a wise choice. The food was delicious as I remembered it the last time, and served promptly and piping hot! I'll certainly be back again whenever the mood strikes for good Korean food. Thank you!

Sebastian C.

Yelp
The food is good, service is outstanding I forgot my phone already taking off they ran to the car to give it to me. Also they are very friendly. Place is cool and clean and there are no strong smells anywhere it is very clean. I come here for the pork katsu

Hygen T.

Yelp
Wow. Just wow. This little quaint place that is tucked away in a small shopping center is a place to marvel. First let me start off by saying this is a mom and pop shop that pours their heart and soul into their service, but most of all their food. The quality of beef was impeccable. The cuts of meat that were given to us, can only be described as perfection. It was sliced as you can tell was years of craftsmanship behind it. We were celebrating my sisters new job and we had told them that and they went out of their way to make sure it was acknowledged. I really can't say anything else as I was blown away. I will definitely be back to this establishment. 10/10. Would recommend to anyone that appreciates great service and better food !!

Hilary S.

Yelp
Atmosphere: Very nice little place, it was decorated to what I thought was typically for the restaurant. Noise level was minimal and it was easy to have a conversation with the people at my table. ** There is a TV at the front of the restaurant that has pictures of different dishes that are on the menu. This is super helpful for someone that hasn't ever had this type of food. Service: No concerns here Food: We ordered quite a few different dishes for the table to try and eat off. They were all super tasty. I can't wait to go back and try more items that we didnt previously try.

Patrick M.

Yelp
Food was amazing and portions were generous. Party of 7 had $130 combo, extra order of pork belly, bibimbap. No issues getting more panchan. Service was amazing. Kept drinks half way full at all times. Was not busy on Thursday night at 7-9.

Lauren K.

Yelp
Reviews were great but for me, the food was okay. I ordered Al tang and Jjamppong. They were decent.

Esther C.

Yelp
My family has been here twice and we have enjoyed our food. We have tried dolsot bulgogi bibimbap, budae jigae, two types of udon, and the fried chicken. Everything was good and the service is nice too. I feel like I'm eating at a small family run business. It's rarely busy when we go, but we have gone at off times. Once for an early dinner and once around 2pm. The only weird thing is the banchan is provided on a paper plate. Not sure why, but they have done it twice. If you get the fried chicken, ask for the spicy red sauce. It's an extra $3 but it is really good. They won't mix it for you, but you can dip your fried chicken in it. So good.

Darian C.

Yelp
I thought this place was really good. I tried the seafood pancake, tukboki, and tofu soup with beef. Every thing was super spicy and hot but I really liked the tukboki! The worker there was nice and I really liked how the store was laid out. We had a table with screens covering the sides so it felt like we had a bit of privacy. They also had a call button so when we needed someone but we didn't have to press it because they checked up on us often.

James C.

Yelp
my mom used to run a small Korean restaurant in Houston and so I know good Korean food from bad. I have to say, Tasty Ko surprised me. I wasn't expecting much but wow in a good way. Everything we ordered was pretty good. Galbi was seasoned and cooked well, not too sweet. Kimchi chigae could've been spicier but still good. Good variety of banchan and all well seasoned and tasty. If you're hankering for Korean food, give this place a try. We'll be coming back for more, for sure.

William U.

Yelp
Went here after looking up best KBBQ spots in Houston and it was no joke! Ordered the special combo the meats were so sweet and rich sides were very flavorful and the employees were very kind! Definitely would recommend as the prices are very manageable will definitely be coming back!

Monique T.

Yelp
This place had some very authentic dishes that I wasn't able to find in other places, such as the pollock roe stew, which is delicious!! The other staples such as the short rib & Japchae and were also tasty and yummy! They serve everything with disposable cutlery and dishes, so easy cleanup.

Diane T.

Yelp
Great value for food portion. Delicious noodle options! We've returned several times. Highly recommend the cold, spicy noodles.

Nicolas Y.

Yelp
This is a good spot for Korean food in Katy. I ordered the Dongaseu which is the fried pork. It was ok, not the best...a little over fried. The side dishes was excellent (kimchi, Korean sweet potatoes, etc.). I also ordered the Gopchang Dolsot Bibimbap. That dish is off the menu. Holy cow! No pun intended, but that was excellent. I don't think I have had better Gopchang ever. Service was a little slow. However, price was good. I will visit once again when I'm craving Gopchang. I want to try the different dishes and perhaps give it a higher score.

Tim L.

Yelp
I love going here alone with my wife and/or with family. You have privacy partitions between booths and from the open area dining room tables. Tasty Ko is also family owned and you can feel the customer appreciation. I was in Korea for nearly two years while in the Army. My go to dish is Ja Jang Myeon (black bean paste noodle dish). It brings back memories. If you have never tried it then this is the place to try it. We almost always start our dinners by sharing a kimchi pancake which I also recommend.

Angelica C.

Yelp
This restaurant definitely did not disappoint! We were looking for a good Korean restaurant to try out and I am so happy we chose this one. We ordered the seafood pancake, steamed egg, spicy stir fried chicken feet, doenjang chigae and budae chigae. all so very delicious, fresh, and flavorful!!! The next time I come I would love to try some new dishes. Highly recommended.

Angelina H.

Yelp
Not recommend! One of my friends recommended and we tried. The hot-stone pot was very spicy and fried chicken tasted nothing special. The waiter told us we will be charged for side-dish refill. I mean I don't mind paying for it after spending a lot of money on below average food but that guy was pretty mean and rude. I wouldn't recommend this place. Customer service very bad.

Sir G.

Yelp
Family owned hole in the wall in the middle of Katy on Mason. Service is super friendly, food is good and we had a great time. Not sure the paper plates are doing them any favors but it did not bug us. We ordered allot of food and nothing was bad. Kids loved the food on the kids menu. Go and try em out! We will most certainly be back.

Carolyn C.

Yelp
Wonderful family-run business offers warm hospitality and amazing Korean cuisine. Hae Mul Pa Jun (Seafood Pancake) was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and full of sizable pieces of fresh seafood, accompanied by a vinegary dipping sauce that enhanced the flavor of the pancake. Mandy is savory and generously sized. Daeji Bulgogi Dolsot came sizzling with both kinds of heat (temperature and spice). The rice was perfectly crispy. The Seafood Japchae was Al Dente and satisfying. The accompanying side dishes were a delicious bonus. We had to ask for takeout boxes as we couldn't finish our food, and will enjoy it later.

Timothy L.

Yelp
Authentic Korean food with great service! The booths have tall privacy dividers which is awesome for date nights.

DJ Mcpherson ..

Yelp
After all the hype we decided to try it and well... it was "ok" at best. The staff however was amazing!! We had the sweetest little waitress, when I didn't care for the broth she quickly exchanged it for a different one and was super helpful with helping us pick through all the choices

Kit L.

Yelp
This is my Authentic Korean Food go to place! I go back to them several time and have not been disappointed:). Got Kalguksu this time! Starchy soup with noodles, clam and veggie. So fulfilling meal plus the sides.. yummy!

Karen S.

Yelp
Awesome Korean right in Katy... they've changed things a bit due to covid so you're eating off disposable plates and drinking out of plastic cups but other than that, amazing. The service is super friendly and they are more than willing to offer suggestions off the menu. Can't wait to go back again soon!

Joi T.

Yelp
Tasty Ko is a culinary gem that elevates your taste buds to new heights. With an innovative menu featuring a blend of flavors, this restaurant crafts dishes that are both visually stunning and incredibly delicious. The modern yet cozy atmosphere adds to the overall dining experience, making Tasty Ko a perfect spot for food enthusiasts. From the first bite to the last, expect a symphony of flavors that will leave you craving more. The friendly staff and stylish ambiance make Tasty Ko a must-visit for those in search of culinary excellence.

Shanice C.

Yelp
I will not recommend this restaurant. They have WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. My husband and I visited this restaurant a few weeks ago because a friend recommended their kimchi soups and bbq. It was delicious. There was only one waiter and he frowned at us when we're ordering food like he's very impatient. I mean the restaurant was not busy at that time as there were only 2 or 3 tables. He was aggressive with the menus, plates, orders and everything. They should train their staff to be a little friendly. We did not come pay money for this kind of service.

Bruce W.

Yelp
The food was great. We enjoyed the bbq. But when our orders arrived, there was this little server girl bringing orders and an old fat man, whom I believe is also another server, came to our table, shouted at the girl right in front of us for putting all the side-dishes on one side of our table. I mean, we didn't mind at all. We were a big crowd and it was not easy for the girl to squeeze in. After the girl left our table, this old man mumbled stuffs in his language and looked so mad. Later he came back to our table to bring the cart and he was so aggressive. Can't even imagine how the little girl is treated everyday. This man looked mean and mental. They should not accept this kind of behavior. As much as we enjoyed the food, what happened was very disturbing.

Janeth R.

Yelp
Food was a 10/10 and the service even better! Love that they didn't discriminate against us as soon as they saw us like some restaurants do! So many food options too! Will definitely come back again!

Cayla S.

Yelp
Delicious and affordable Korean BBQ! Staff is so welcoming and friendly. One of the ladies working even helped serve my family and I our own bowls of soup. Overall very warm and good atmosphere.

Erica G.

Yelp
If you want Americanized Korean food I would advise not coming here. This restaurant is authentic Korean food only! I ordered the chicken with spicy rice cakes. I LOVE spicy rice cakes.. one of my favorite korean dishes that I will forever hold close to me. While the sweet/spicy flavor of the sauce wasnt my favorite, I still enjoyed the overall meal. Would recommend this cute authentic Korean bbq restaurant only if you truly enjoy a authentic Korean cuisine.

Elizabeth T.

Yelp
Delicious, authentic, Korean bbq! We tried the seafood pancake, fried chicken, fish cake soup and tteokbokki for appetizers. All fresh and tasty. The combinations to cook are great and depend on how many people are eating. Their meats are marinated perfectly, side dishes are great, and we're coming back to try the rest of the menu.

David S.

Yelp
My wife and I came just for Dakgalbi, we even asked if the plate has rice cakes because my wife likes those and they said yes. (It's also in the menu discerption)... we only got 2 pieces of rice cakes in the dish and when we asked about it the only solution they gave us was to buy another plate if just tukboki.... We shouldn't have to other another plate... it should have more than 2 rice cakes. Also its really expensive. We were very unhappy and do not plan to ever come back and wouldn't recomend it to anyone.

Tracey Z.

Yelp
I was recommended this place by my teacher and decided to try it out. Amazing! The service is very attentive and the restaurant is very homey. I got the chuksuk tukboki which was very tasty. The sauce was sweet and spicy. The fried dumplings were a great addition. The tukboki was perfectly chewy, I wish there was more tukboki and less ramen noodles. Warning: very spicy! If you don't handle spice well, I would not recommend this dish for you. It is a bit pricy but my sister and I shared and we still had leftovers.

Fox E.

Yelp
Winter in Buffalo made me look like a PASTY KO Drove too fast to get here, guess I'm just a HASTY KO Slurped down every drop of soup so nothing went to WASTY KO And if you want Korean Soup, the best on earth is TASTY KO! The rain in Spain falls on the Plain, not all of it, but MAINLY KO This is to Katy Texas what Detroit is to SHADY KO It's even more delicious than Miss Perry, you know, KATY KO The best damm soup in HOU TX is here at TASTY KO! It's the Souperbowl Champ, it should be named BRADY KO It tastes even better than going down on LACI KO But this verse just went and got a little bit too RACY KO So let's get back to being virginal and eat at TASTY KO! I know it's far from Hipster Heights but no need to be LAZY KO It's way more healthy than a badly made expensive PASTRY KO And if you're really lucky you might see my posing BABY KO And even if you don't you'll be so glad you came to TASTY KO Just watch out for the morons on I-10, and arrive SAFELY KO And watch out if you go south on Mason, it's kind of WAVY KO Cause if you crash your fast car it'll be sadder than TRACY KO Chapman, that is, anyway, get your ass down to TASTY KO I'm not trying to say that you should drive like you're Miss DAISY KO But don't get road rage or you'll be as bad as Kevin SPACEY KO Rumours of his demise were not exaggerated GREATLY KO So wash away Frank Underwood's memory with TASTY KO (But don't wash away Carrie Underwood's memory, I'm really close right now, don't stop, keep rapping, hurry up and finish the rap before he cheats) i've been coming here each week I'm in Houston LATELY KO The best Korean food you'll ever eat? That's a hard MAYBE KO As good as anything found in Jamaica or in HAITI KO So if you want the best soup in Texas you come to TASTY KO! And if you're feeding Starlight give her cans with extra GRAVY KO And if you're trying to steal my girl, you can't, I drive her CRAZY KO And she will look this good until she's gone well north of EIGHTY KO And hopefully we'll still be coming here to eat at TASTY KO! What to get: Yuk Gae Jang What not to get: A Yuck Gangbang What else to get: Any of the soups What else not to get: Any of the SUVs I could make a Korea out of bad raps about food places, but if you want to make a Korea of eating perfect Korean soup, come here. Ever since Seoul Garden (Buffalo) closed, I've been sad. They had the best Yuk Gae Jang (which is anything but yuck) imaginable. Only one place in the USA makes it as good - and it's right here in Katy of all places. Namudol in Queens inside H-Mart is great, but not at this level. I could try and be diplomatic and say that other Korean Soup places are as good as this, but I'm not a Korea Politician, so I won't. By far the best Korean soup in TX, and might be the best I've ever tried anywhere in the world. If you love Korean soups, you absolutely have to come and try them here. If you don't love Korean soups, you probably didn't try them here yet - or perhaps at all - they're life-changing. I hope you listen to my Korea advice. Service is lovely and friendly as well, and prices are affordable. Portions are generous, if you care about side dishes they're some of the best I've tried at Korean places, but best of all the taste of the soup is just otherworldly. They just know how to make their sh**, and they do so better than almost anybody does. Forget UPS, this is the only Korea service that matters. When you go to get Korean food you should always get soup (Barbie learned this the hard way, but she likes anything the hard way generally), unless you're at a KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) place. And this is the soup spot that you should come to. Lim's has some good soups to go with their KFC as well, but nothing like this. We will probably come here on a very regular basis - maybe even as often as once a week - when I am back in town. Spectacular. And while Cilantro may be the same thing as Coriander, when it comes to soups and Barbie, I don't need anything other than Korea-and-her. My thoughts from my most recent visit: As always it is the greatest Korean restaurant in Texas, alongside Lim's, which is totally different because it's for KFC or Pork Kalbi. And if you agree with me that this place is the #1 anywhere, then I'm so glad you were able to Korea-oborate my story. Tasty Ko is not just the best Korean. It's one of the best restaurants of any kind that I've ever been to in Texas. An absolute must-try. So Tasty-Go here as soon as you can, it'll only take you a Tasty Mo to realize it's the best soup you've ever had, but Tasty Blow your spoonful first so it doesn't burn you. Your love for it will quickly Tasty Grow, and you'll Tasty Know that you'll never say Tasty No to this soup again. If you're a guy, we can come here together and you can be my Tasty Bro, and even if you're not into it I'll keep coming back here cause it's so Tasty Doe. And if you're really lucky, you might someday come here with a girl as stunning as my Tasty Ho.

Bao Y.

Yelp
If you're thinking about trying this place, their corn cheese and seafood pancake are phenomenal! We ordered the BBQ combo which came with 4 side-dishes, salad and 4 bowls of rice. Very delicious! I give their food 5 stars but the service was way too bad. I give the service zero or even less if possible. My mom asked the korean waiter man to give us forks and 4 plates to share the appetizer after she asked him for some napkins. He was not very busy at the moment but he looked very pissed and dropped the forks and plates on our table in a violent manner. That was very rude. They should train their waiter some manners. As much as we loved the food, we will never be back to be treated like this.

Amanda L.

Yelp
This is our new go to place in Katy! The food is incredible and authentic. The customer service was extraordinary! I ordered a cold noodle entree and the sweet lady that brought it out asked if I knew how to mix it. I told her no - it was a huge plate with a bunch of different toppings on top of noodles with vinegar and spicy sauce on the side! She literally stayed there and explained everything and mixed it for me, like my mom would do. It made the whole experience feel so warm and loving! All the entrees had so much substance and food in it - way more than what any other surrounding Korean restaurants offered. I cannot wait to go back to try their kbbq and lunch specials!!!

Aladji F.

Yelp
I wouldn't eat here if I were you, they serve your food on small dirty PAPER PLATES, go somewhere else and eat like an actual human being.

Jeremy C.

Yelp
Can't always go the places you've heard from word of mouth or yourself been to before we searched for a new spot on yelp for Korean bbq and this place was hands down phenomenal. The lady helping us was always checking in on us and asking if we need anything. I don't think I've ever had better rice than this place. Very clean inside and very reasonable in all their pricing. Highly recommend

Andy C.

Yelp
As a Korean person who travels frequently to Korea and is from LA... this place would not survive in LA or Orange county CA. The side dishes are weak... the prices are not worth what you get.. waiters did not come by to ask us how we are one time... the main dishes we ordered were very subpar. I hope more Korean restaurants come into Katy to drive the competition higher and inevitably the quality of food and service.

Marc E.

Yelp
Coming from NJ, we have tons of Korean restaurants and the food is me and my wife's go to favorite when we crave something asian. Definitely tons of Korean spots around but this one is close to the apartment so this was an automatic for us. (Its also right next to a crispy creme. Win-win situation here people) The staff is super friendly and will remember your face if you frequent the establishment often. We like to order their fried chicken which isnt the typical double fried you expect but a more traditional style. Very good with the salt n pepper condiment it comes with. The soups and their hot stone rice bowls are wonderful. We crave it even more when its cold outside. The portions are big for the price you pay and you can't beat the staff. I mention it again cuz their presence is part of the experience. Very warming and friendly. Would go here weekly if we could.

David J.

Yelp
Can't say enough great things about this hidden gem. Food is awesome, service is awesome, the owner really is attentive and is appreciative of his customers. Have had great meals here, my secret hideaway when the wife is out of town and I need a meal and don't feel like cooking! The sides are fresh and delectable! My go to place for Korean army stew!
